Hi, The venues are always the same ones in every worlds, 23 worlds later it would be nice to add new venues to the basegame. Museum and Library aren't places to have fun. Park, Bar, Lounge, Dance Club and Gym there are enough of them now. IRL people also hang out in these places : Arcade / Fairground Bistro / Brasserie : Bar/Café with waiters (no host, no chef), just go to a table and sit. Casino / Gambling Club Cafeteria / Canteen / Fastfood Restaurant : Literally the NPC Stall vendor doing the job inside a building Circus Market Place : Selling local products Movie Theater : Watch movie trailers and buy popcorn before the movie. Actors and directors could come for the movie premiere. Playground : Venue for Child, toddler, infant and their parents/nanny. Shopping Street / Mall
Retro Pack
I was thinking that a retro pack would be a great addition. By retro I mean objects, game play and cas items from older sim games revamped and put into a pack for sims 4. The classic dancing from sims 2, the burglar and cops, the gardener actually putting fruit & vegetables in the refrigerator instead of household inventory, quilting, sewing, hobbies from sims 2, being able to build to the edge of our lots, orange trees, and the list goes on. Trying to like/love Sims 4 and I think this could help
To start I find Sims 4 unplayable with out extensive tuning mods, this game as-is is very frustrating (and more customization should be held in the gameplay options/settings). I never modded Sims 3 till after all the EPs/SPs came out, as I found it was a very playable game even without mods just using cheats when needed. I am a Sims 3 player trying to like/love Sims 4 but there are definite blocks and possible patch updates that could remedy this. Background I am a fan of Supernatural so I bought Realm of Magic, Vampires, Werewolves, Paranormal, as well as Life & Death (this was what lead me to to give Sims 4 a chance), Crystal Creations, etc. More cross patch friendliness. I got Outdoor Retreat for Herbalism and Bug Collecting but was very sad to see bugs are only in that one vacation world and that their inventory thumbnail is the same image (I found this very lazy and loved how bugs where handled in Sims 3). Skills should open like in Sims 3, I want to see skill statistics and challenges, as well as seeing what I unlocked besides they one time pop up notice. Skills feel like they lack substance in the GUI. More layering and mirrored jewelry. There is an arm band in Realm of Magic that could be layered with bracelets but it won't let you (it takes up the bracelet slot) and there is a bangle bracelet with rings that would really be great if it also came mirrored with the left hand. Too many build/buy colour swatches don't match, I tried to match Realm of Magic with Life & Death furniture and the wood colours don't match and it is very annoying. If you are going to take Create-A-Style away at least have the build/buy brown/red wood colours match cross patch wise. This is probably a not possible but I really wish the Magic Realm had 1 residential lot (on it's own floating island) and that we could edit the Magic Realm for custom HQs. Crystal Tree is not on the Gardening Notebook which I found sad that you can research and it not be noted :( I want to be able to edit/customize a town before making households like in Sims 3. The Grim Reward eyes option for Vampire form only would be nice instead of having to be both exclusively. When all else fails don't stop cross pack compatibility and play catch up with the past ones not yet providing this. Lastly NPCs/Townies need to back off, if I do not know them I do not want them bugging me or my Sims. The interrupting interactions and intruding on 1v1 conversations is really turning me off the game I am probably not your majority player base but I think I should have a chance to voice my wish list that could help me like/love Sims 4 or I might just give up, stop bothering and stop buying packs.
A Few Suggestions for Kitchens, Gardening & Cooking etc. for 2025
I enjoy cooking in my real life and I love to try new things. I am very impressed the fact that Sims 4 has really has gone out of its way to add a lot of new international recipes that we have never had before. I honestly believe that this is fantastic a form of representation that we really need in the game. The houses in Life and Death
The people who designed the houses in the Life and Death Expansion Pack did a fantastic job!! I just wanted to say that because I have loved all of the houses and buildings in that pack. Alarm Clock on Cell Phone
Please consider adding a settable alarm clock in the cell phone workflow. Something that each sim in the played household can set individually to remind them of something e.g. On the day of a sim's birthday as to remind the parent to remember to go to an outing or restaurant. It might be set for wake-up time in the morning. If set, then the sim would sleep throughout the night without waking up. Take into consideration the exclusion of the scenarios: the monster under the bed, a vampire visiting for a drink, sim needs running out, etc. And more...
Disabilities
I've been playing The sims since the first edition. I played The sims 2 from 2005 to 2021 and I've been playing with The sims 4 since 2021. I love a lot of the new content, especially the possibility to have polyamorous relations and the scars and medical devices. That said, I'd love it if there was more inclusion of disability in the sims. The hearing aids are great but it would be better if you could have real deaf sims. It would be awesome with we could create or birth sims with only one leg or who can only go from place to place in a wheelchair. I know it has to be a big challenge but we'll soon be in 2025 and I think it's doable. I'd get it even if it was an expensive pack.
Casual Romance Conversation Options Gone?
Hey all. I started playing this after buying and installing the Love Struck pack, and there were a group of options for casual romance. I LOVED THIS!! Was that part of the game? I keep the game modded for several reasons. First and foremost that shopping cart. I already own everything except a couple of the lowest level (5€) items that are of no interest to me. The knitting couldn't be resumed last time I tried. And last week, in a 5-hour gaming session, my one gal was abducted 7 times. The bearskin rug from Love Stuck caught afire 3 times in front of fireplaces that were fireguarded (no fix for this, just move it farther away). I just wish I had a fix for the rocketship upgrade resetting when you save and exit the game, then re-enter the next day, and the books and knitting resetting when you leave the lot, and sometimes when you sleep. Sheep not being able to be sheared - you can just reset the object, and only one type of gate will allow you to lock-out the foxes but lock-in your critters. So, did anyone else have the conversation options grouping called "Casual Romance"? When I bought and installed Life and Death, that disappeared. It was disappointing, because the Sims 4 feels like it was designed by two groups: People born in or around 2000 and people born around the 1940s. The sexual repression in the game is disgusting for me. I'm a gen-x, and we women fought hard to have sexual freedom. This game forces me to romance people, before I can get into their britches, regardless of whether I play a man or woman - and for both of these this is an antiquated mentality: repressive and wrong to force on people. The game should not be forcing a certain set of moral standards on players, or send messages to females that the values set by the male patriarchy still apply to them, or telling males that they have to toy with women's hearts to get what they want. It can be negotiated like adult human beings. I just want to tumble with them, not have to win their hearts. It does not promote the idea that women can be independent and unashamedly in-charge of their own sexuality. And it ALWAYS comes back on the women....Separate Molding And Paint Colors
I would love to see the ability to pick wall coverings where I can pick the paint color independently from the wood molding. Similarly to be able to choose fabric colors on furniture independently from the wood parts of the item. Not even necessarily on all furniture that has wood and fabric but at least some options. Coordinating colors in a home can be challenging, especially when you have specific wood tones you're trying to stich with as well as colors you're matching and the combinations available can be limiting. Adding this feature would make designing buildings easier as well as allow for more unique styles in an interior that are still cohesive and harmonious
Expansion pack idea
I think the sims four SHOULD HAVE A FAIRYTALE EXPANSION PACK… I was thinking you could become friends with fairies that could help you around the house and leave gifts. I was also thinking about all the new wardrobe, and the hair could include more curly hairstyles. Also more aspirations(mischief) becoming a fairytale villain. Etc or becoming somthing princess princess good good.
Fishing in Sims 4
With the content that has come out recently in the Sims 4 it has made fishing rather redundant and honestly the skill is kind of boring. While watching my fiance play red dead it gave me a really good idea that would be easy to incorporate into the game and would encourage players to use this skill more. If there was a tackle box that functioned similarly to the Crystal creations pack where we could make different lures in the game, and maybe your fishing level allows you to make better lures it would add an exciting new element to the game.

Option to toggle off ghosts in cemeteries in Life & Death
As many others, I am overjoyed to finally have a proper cemetery lot in The Sims 4. My only issue is that marking lots as official cemeteries makes ghosts appear every single time my sims visit the graveyard. I love supernatural stuff in The Sims games, but in this case I wanted to make a realistic cemetery and thought that, maybe the ghosts was just a Ravenwood thing, so making one outside Ravenwood would keep the ghosts from spawning. But nope, they still spawn. I guess my only option for the moment is to remove the official cemetery lot and just make it a basic lot. But that also removes visiting sims tending to graves etc. Which is sad. I would also love to be able to toggle off ghosts generating in Ravenwood. Mostly because the game is already overbloated by auto generated sims and now we get new ghosts every time we explore Ravenwood.
