Criminal justice system for the sims
I'd like to see a genuine criminal justice system introduced into the sims 4. Here are my main reasons why: Sims can join the criminal career but cannot be arrested by NPC detectives for criminal activities. Sims can join the detective career, but investigations are boring since criminal sims only commit small crimes. It's not like you can investigate fraud, suspicious death, or abductions in the sims 4. I mean, I played the detective career once and investigated like 6 graffiti vandalisms and 4 burglaries during the first few levels of the career and was so bored. Sims with the programming skill can perform hacking interactions, but it's not like the police are going to knock on their door and confiscate their computer. Sims with the klepto trait can swipe items, but it's not like NPCs will report them to the police. Sims in the politician career don't get arrested for taking bribes. Also why does the sims 4 not have the burglar NPC like previous generations? Imagine if played sims and NPCs could get arrested for criminal activity, actually be put in get to work jail cells, have to call a household member or friend to pay bail, and have a criminal record. Players could also have their sim call the police if they see NPCs committing crimes. Discover university added a lawyer career, so I imagine if compatibility is added for the get to work detective career and updates are added for the criminal, secret agent, and military careers, we can have a full criminal justice system in the game.pandacookiesims4 hours agoRising Scout187Views4likes4CommentsA Few Suggestions for Kitchens, Gardening & Cooking etc. for 2025
I enjoy cooking in my real life and I love to try new things. I am very impressed the fact that Sims 4 has really has gone out of its way to add a lot of new international recipes that we have never had before. I honestly believe that this is fantastic a form of representation that we really need in the game. So in this spirit I would like to add an enhanced version of an earlier list of recipes I had posted. (My original Post is giving me weird error messages.) I also added country of origin to make it easier to place the recipes in packs. It's a pretty long list so the overview is: New Cooking & Baking Recipes along with Juicing and new Tea Blends New Harvestables More Purchasable Spices Kitchen Enhancements & Appliances (Home & Restaurant) Appetizers & Snacks Bacon Wrapped Dates Chicken Wings BBQ Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Lemon Pepper Louisiana Rub Mango Habanero Teriyaki Chips (Corn Tortilla) with Guacamole Deviled Eggs Fried Calamari - Italy Fried Cauliflower Fried Green Beans Fried Pickles Grilled Octopus - Greek, Very commonly served in Greek Tavernas Jalapeño Poppers Lahmacun - Turkey Oysters on the Half Shell Oysters Rockefeller - New Orleans, Louisiana, United States Pemmican - Cree Nation? Hello Simmers, I come today to share a suggestion for an eventual update: I would like for my Sims to have a favorite dish, that they could cook by picking the option to cook favorite food (like when preparing or ordering a favorite drink). I would like to have this feature in the game for several reasons. For example, I wouldn't mind it if a Sim gets a favorite food by random that isn't good with their traits, and that they should avoid to not get sick. Or that their favorite food is just too caloric. It could be relatable. But I'm sure other players would like it even better if the game offers the option to pick for their Sim what will be their favorite drink and favorite food. Right now I'm using MC Command Center to pick Plasma Mary as a favorite drink for vampires, and it would be great if I could do this too for Plasma fruit salad. That would make autonomy much more sensible for these occultes. I also would like to pick a cultural dish for some of the Sims I play, so they would spontaneously cook this dish instead of something more or less random. This would be in the vibe of "my favorite food is what my grandma used to cook for us when we were kids" On the off change that this happens at random, I imagine it could be also included in the milestones, with the discovery of a favorite food, and later the discovery of a new favorite food that tops the other. I'm not sure what's convenient, but I saw that the game already has a function to determine foods an infant likes to eat. In my humble opinion, this could be just something to add in the likes and dislikes panel in CAS, whether the Sim is able to prepare it themself or not. I'm not sure about adding "eat specific dish" in the wants system, but it could be an interesting addition if it's related to pregnancy cravings. I hope your day is as good as a religieuse au chocolat is to me ♥Wyrmelin24 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer29Views1like2Comments💡 Ideas > ♂️ Man lifestyle for The Sims

So there are several packs, where it seems like there is something missing. Seasons: figure skating career. It would be nice if there was a new branch for the athlete career that allow sims to work as figure skaters. Discover University added the soccer branch. I think the skating rinks are underutilized. Get together: Dancer career. I really think there should be a dance career with multiple branches. The branches could be dance teacher branch (allowing sims to run a dance studio), ballet branch, and salsa branch. The various dance styles would come with multiple routines you could unlock as you increase the dance skill. Cottage living: why is there no mill appliance and harvestables for wheat and sugar cane? I mean, yes commercial enterprise is fine. There's a garden and grocery stall, but what about self- sufficiency? I would like to be able to mill flour and sugar. Horse ranch: there should be an equestrian career and boarding stable venue type. If you didn't want to participate in competitions, but still wanted to earn money from the horse - riding skill, you could run a boarding stable. NPC horse owners would spawn at the venue to take horse riding lessons and stable their horses for training and care. The player could "rent" stable stalls (like apt units) and run a business (similar to a vet clinic), but it's a stable. High school years: so about sending child sims to school. Discover University: soccer should have soccer goals. Players could challenge other sims to soccer matches. Essentially a soccer match is seeing who can score more goals. Doesn't actually require a team, but like it's so not interesting just watching the sims kick the ball. Realm of magic: why are cauldrons so big? At least add a mini cauldron that can fit on counters. Also add more cauldron recipes for soups and stews. Werewolves: there should be more sewer related buildbuy items. Seriously, add manhole covers, more doors and windows, and sewer grates. Cool kitchen: if there is ice cream, we should be able to craft sundaes and milkshakes.pandacookiesims2 days agoRising Scout14Views0likes1CommentTarot Reading Session
It would be cool if you could use the tarot tent in Life and Death to start a tarot reading session in the style of the home chef food sale or sales table. It could also help build entrepreneur skill. Fortune Teller/Spirit medium could be another freelance job as well. Sims could do the "commune with the dead" ceremony with other sims for a fee and do tarot readings.claireluttmer2 days agoSeasoned Rookie10Views0likes0CommentsSimGuruNinja
Good Afternoon, I just saw that SimGuruNinja had to deactivate his twitter account because of all the inappropriate messages he was receiving from people that do not like the latest expansion pack. I find this very upsetting to hear because SimGuruNinja has always been such a positive influence to the community and the team at EA. While I do not know him personally, I do know that he has been working for the company for a long time and has had a part of bringing several Sims products to life. I just want to say that I really appreciate the work that he and the rest of the team has done. Yes, there are issues at times but as a long time player (I played the original Sims in college!) I would like to express how much I have enjoyed the games. This is one of the few games that I play and it gives me the freedom to change my gameplay over time. I have so many different save files that I have created to play with my different moods. No other game has kept me engaged like the Sims do. This letter is just a letter of appreciation. Thank you for your hard work. Sincerely, Jenniferjenbobbitt2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer524Views20likes17CommentsColour of font
Hey Sim creators! I'm finding in my old(er) age, the font colour (light blue on white) is extremely hard to read. I have to stick my face up to the screen to read it and let's face it, thats not comfortable for anyone. Is it possible to make it more of a Navy blue so it's a bit easier to read? The light blue just blends into the white a little too much. Thank you.skooterramma2 days agoRising Newcomer7Views0likes0CommentsLife & Death Wishes
This pack is the best that Maxis has produced in years; however, there are some things missing. I know that what I cover isn't everything everybody wants but I was disappointed not to find some dark color patches for bushes, trees flower and even new plants. I went looking for black, dark purple, dark red roses & dead plants & bushes that could be used to decorate a lot. I see that apparently there are some in debug but I'm not really into hunting through debug for those. I also would like to see color swatches across more build & buy options towards the dark purple, black and dark red. I was also disappointed my sim couldn't paint horror paintings and I'd still like it if they could paint fear paintings. Fear paintings would be what the sim feared such as a broken heart for fear of loosing their spouse or a full moon if they feared werewolves or the sun for vampire fears, ect. The pet cemetery was ignored. My sim traveled to Brindleton Bay to check it out but most of the gravestones can't be clicked on to mourn, read the epitaph or leave flowers. Nor have I seen gravestones specifically designed for pets. Why is it that the death frog has no value? If it is a rare item I would think it would be worth something. I do appreciate that the clothing items weren't skimpy so my sims don't have to freeze when wearing them. There is a time & place for skimpy & lately we have had more skimpy than everyday wear. I know there are other things that are missing from the pack but I can't think of them right at this moment. I am just so thankful that this pack wasn't broken right out of the gate like For Rent & Love Struck. I still can't get For Rent to work properly though Love Struck is better than it was. So, yes I would love to see them fixed. Thanks for an awesome pack.debralou20022 days agoSeasoned Novice36Views1like3CommentsMore Options and Ideas
I like to see more options for example the bags on the sims Head I like to have an option to disable that. Not saying get rid if it Just option to disable it, it gets annoying at times. But a Plus Option would be to add a graveyard. for Visiting. Options like Loved ones and Exploring you could even add options for grave robbers . Solve new cases. Maybe Have a Mysterious stone or go in the Crept and find Treasure. What a Thrill for Robbers. Watch out for the Traps. some family's set traps to protect the grave. you might even meet a ghost not so happy to aww a robber. but if you not a Robber you must prove if. If you are a grave Robber you are up for a Surprising resoles you do how ever have the option to escape. If you not a Robber you may processed to the next area. for a Surprising reward.Prince-Dargon2 days agoNew Novice17Views0likes2CommentsSims4 Feed back option to bring back the classics
I have an idea why not bring back the kisses there are only a few but they were good one of my favorite was under the chin drew the female in for the Kiss add that option in customizing the Sims Personal Kissing style like you do the walk styles have a special Kiss. Maybe have custom dance style.Prince-Dargon2 days agoNew Novice8Views0likes0CommentsSims 4 CAS suggestions
I know this may not happen for a while, but I thought I would make a post about things that would be nice to see change! firstly, I would love it if relationships in CAS had a wider range. Like grandma and grandpa or aunt and uncle. Maybe cousins. Things like that. You can make it happen, but unfortunately it’s a bit of a task to do so. secondly, more walk styles? I just think having more options than some of the funky ones would be nice. Is a search bar for traits at all possible? I think that would be an amazing addition. that’s all I have for now!miyagillespie072 days agoRising Newcomer15Views1like0Commentsvacation rental update and real estate pack
There are 2 systems that I believe EA should expand to enhance gameplay: the vacation system and the ownable business system. Here is a list of suggested features. Vacation system Introduce hotel venue type. Instead of paying to rent a vacation home, sims can check into a hotel. The fee will be similar however, the experience will offer more dynamic gameplay. Sims will need to book a vacation, travel to the hotel, and " check - in." Room access will be controlled by key cards, which the sims need to have in their inventory to access their room. The hotel will spawn NPC guests and employees that played households can interact with. Hotels will offer a variety of services such as: housekeeping, room service, ice machines, and in - ground hot tubs. For areas like Selvadorada, where mostly locals will spawn, there will be a better experience as other types of NPCs will spawn in the area. Introduce vacation home venue type. Unlike vacation rentals, played households can buy a second home outright that they will own. It can't be lived in, since it's not a residential lot. However, anytime the household plans a vacation, they can now select their owned vacation home in addition to vacation rentals and hotels. Introduce a cruise ship interactive shell. The cruise ship will function like a hotel, only it will be a new waterfront venue type. The shell will be shaped like a cruise ship, so like an apartment, the exterior can't be customized, but the interior can be customized. The cruise ship will spawn NPC employees and guests like a hotel, offer services like a hotel, but also offer access to the ocean (like beaches) so sims can enjoy water sports. Sims will also experience motion sickness and other buffs related to traveling on the ocean. Ownable business system There are currently several packs that introduce new venue types that can be purchased and used to operate a business. They are pretty intensive and require full time management. Players are required to travel to the lot, open their business, and provide goods and/or services to satisfy customers. However, I believe the game should expand upon this by introducing a real estate system. Players can manage residential and commercial venues that are currently unowned and unoccupied, hold events to find perspective buyers, and then make a sell and earn a commission. Real estate system will feature a 10 - level career with 2 branches, new skills, new events, and a dynamic gameplay experience. Real estate career will focus on property management and client management. The starting levels of the career will focus on skill building: improving handiness so that repairs and upgrades can be made to properties, improving charisma to have more success with making sells and getting a bigger commission, and writing skills for creating brochures and advertisements for "open house" and "launch" events. The career will have 2 branches: real estate agent and business tycoon. The real estate agent branch will focus on managing residential properties. Tasks will include organizing "open house events" and getting perspective clients to purchase or rent residential properties. The player will need to make the property look presentable, make sells at open house events, and then handle various situations after the sell such as foreclosures, homeowner's insurance claims, and putting the property back on the market it the client isn't satisfied. The business tycoon branch will focus on managing commercial venues. Tasks will include making the properties presentable, hosting launch events to find perspective buyers, and then assisting the owner with advertisements, insurance claims, upgrades, and repairs to help the business flourish. Like residential venues, commercial venues can also go into foreclosure and the client might put it back on the market. Various commercial lots such as bars, cafe, nightclubs, etc will now be venues can be sold and managed in the real estate career.pandacookiesims3 days agoRising Scout49Views7likes6CommentsGetting rid of the cart button
How do you get rid a that horrible flashing thing ? Can't we at least have an option to say "stop harassing me and I might consider buying pack" ? Trying to give the game a second chance, but it seam I'll un-install again.. Still to many ads, it stress me out and that's not what i'm playing for.EowynCarter3 days agoSeasoned Novice26Views1like1CommentReaper Rewards as a Scenario
Yo This was Fun! So While I'm not a fan of events like this making it so you have items limited time only... The event itself was fun for the most part. It would have been awesome to have the grim appear at the end and say thanks or throw a fit once it was done... or even a phone call if that wasn't possible, but that's not what this is about. (Please if you make it a scenario make it a phone call or notification from the reaper!) Fact is the event was FUN. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. I'm also a huge fan of the Scenarios though and worlds like Stranger Ville so that's not surprising. So my thought is, please make this into a scenario. It is something that can be replayed and it was genuinely fun. While the rewards would be great I get why that might not be a thing so here's my thoughts bulleted. This is pretty much a premade scenario that only needs a few tweaks and the reward could be points or potions... or maybe the cooking reward trait you can buy. Like the Savant or Mentor one from some of the other scenarios? For the ambrosia news letter thing, just make it researchable on the computer or maybe reading mystery novels? Since Scenarios are base game only at this point it would have to be something base game. Maybe make the newsletter a permanent thing like getting the newspaper in the sims 3 was? Watching a horror movie? Maybe a research death option on the computer or the ask a ghost about death... actually asking a ghost about death could totally work! We need more scenarios. Its a forgotten feature and I don't think the modding community took much notice... which sucks since we have community challenges and Scenarios are that. This is a good way of reminding everyone that they exist. Why put all that work in for this even and then have nothing else from it? Converting it into a scenario with a trait reward or points reward is a great way of reusing that work. Please don't let that effort go to waste! Maybe the brave trait instead of the cooking one? There are options! My little goth hart was snared by this event, lol. (No I'm not getting that kit, not single corset? tsk!) I hadn't touched the Sims 4 in YEARS. Not even the previous event could get me into it. It's also made me consider buying the Life and Death pack. Not bad, not bad at all, lol. Having a scenario like this not locked in a rewards event might snag some others that didn't like the blatant player number grab this event was designed for. If nothing else its a good option to add or keep some of those player numbers. Please don't let this effort be wasted and forgotten! I hadn't played in ages! Years! Snowy escape years! I'm flat out not a fan of Sims 4. Sims 3 gives me way more gameplay and opportunities that Sims 4 just can't match. This has gotten me playing again, even though Sims 4 is a glitchy mess. Still I bought two packs, and one was just so I could enjoy this event. The paranormal pack and its Haunted house lot with the Unscared lot trait is super fun! Much better then ghost gathering! You did the work now lets not waste it. Thank you AnimeHuntressAnimeHuntress3 days agoNew Rookie54Views4likes4Comments10 suggestions for new traits.
Just a few ideas for traits that really help give a sim more character. I'm not fond of the ones that do little else but boost how fast some skills are learned. -Boring. These sims are easy to please and content with pretty basic activities, their fun motive drains less fast than for other sims. They also won't do any interesting activities by themselves, meals they cook on their own are always the most bland options available. They can talk about mundane stuff with other sims, which will bore them unless they too are boring. These sims are content with a simple life and don't crave excitement, so the trait conflicts with such traits. -Dumb. These sims are incapable of improving skills but can still get them through the wishing well or other rewards. They are also easily amused and can be particularly frustrating for genius sims in conversation, but their antics might also annoy some other sims. They might still try to use broken stuff and act surprised it doesn't work. They also are able to do some unique interactions like 'pull my finger' and stuff like that. They never feel embarrassed. They can laugh at themselves too and might even respond positively when targeted with mischief. -Jaded. Nothing phases these sims, they are unimpressed by whatever crazy thing happens. They just shrug and move on. Also means they won't panic or get scared, but won't do anything about it on their own either like put out a fire unless told to do it. It is more difficult for them to make friends with anyone who isn't also jaded, and learning skills could take a bit longer too because they aren't open minded. -Open minded. These sims are quicker to learn and make friends, quick to forgive too but do get hit by stronger negative buffs whenever they do feel betrayed by another sim. They might be a little naive at times, expecting the best of others. They could also be excited about trying new skills, getting the first few levels faster but later levels at the regular rate. They might dive enthusiastically in new things without worry, which can sometimes backfire on them. -Heavy sleeper. They can sleep anywhere without trouble, no amount of noise will wake them, it never causes them discomfort either even if they sleep on the floor. They could even go sleep in spots no other sim can. Like in the rocket which could have a chance to blast off into space whenever they sleep there, accidentally pushing the wrong button in their sleep. They can also sleep on a slide, in a chair, on a yoga mat, in a bathtub, in a hottub and various other places, which might be annoying to other sims. Sleeping gives them fun too. -Loud. These sims laugh loudly, snore loudly, make more noise when preparing a meal, sing louder too and just tend to cause a lot of noise. Also have some unique interactions like singing loudly at their mirror. When a loud sim screams, it wakes everyone on the lot too unless they are a heavy sleeper. They talk at a higher volume too, they don't do whispering. They themselves are not bothered by loud noises. -Quiet. These sims can be very sneaky, they are good at sneaking up on others and also not waking them or causing a ruckus. They get a few whisper interactions too, they enjoy quiet activities, and will often enough turn off radios and other devices that make noise. They don't get along well with loud sims, but could make excellent librarians. -Charlatan. These sims are real con artists, they will always look for short cuts. They can cheat in games, are likely to cheat in relationships, can tell tall tales and also various lies. They are also able to con other sims out of some money with all kinds of rigged hustles. They do however risk losing friends fast when caught in their web of lies and might also have to pay fines for failed hustles. They get unique interactions at jobs too to hustle in some way. They enjoy a good gamble too. -Mime. These sims don't talk, ever so can be used to simulate a mute or just someone who chooses not to speak. They do use hand gestures instead to communicate. They also have the option to mime, doing various mime motions to amuse other sims. -Lucky. A bit of a cheat trait, these sims always get the best possible results from anything with random chance. Always find the best items, win lotteries, nothing unfortunate ever happens to them by chance. It does however make them bad at actual hard work. They learn skills slower and are not so good with holding down a job. Things come easy for them so they take it for granted. They aren't good at comforting other sims because they can't relate to misfortune. When bad things do happen to them that have nothing to do with random chance so can't be avoided, they suffer stronger negative penalties for it though because they are terrible at coping with that.18Views3likes1Commentupdate proposal
Hello, it is a great pleasure to share with you an idea that I used. I see almost a lot of people looking for either a mod or to contact creators and modify it. so I said to myself why not make a new update that modifies the family tree and do like in the sims 3 we would like to see generations to generations to see the family of our partner sims without it disappearing to know who our ancestors are who are our grandparents great grandparents our aunt cousin cousin without all that when you click on another sims in our tree and that it disappears so here I propose this update that it would be cool to have the tree like in the sims 3TS4_Carmsy3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer40Views2likes1CommentEA, please make half grid walls!
I’ve recently been recreating my own house in the Sims4 & the layout isn’t quite right at all. What would make it better is a half grid wall! It would absolutely help other builds too, allowing for a bit more accuracy when it comes to designing. please EA, with all these new updates & packs, please make half grid walls! This fan would very much appreciate it!TheArtisticNerd3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer15Views2likes0Comments
