The development team continues to ignore us For example for 11 years we've been playing with 8 Sims on a 20 SIM plot while they know we play with 150 Sims and watch in an open world. I was playing the game on a laptop only to be shocked when I tried it on a PS5 and found it had better graphics and resolution even using the same 4K screen The PS5's graphics are a million times better than a laptop's Isn't this disrespectful to us as gamers ? 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
Zombies in The Sims 4
As an occult lover i can't deny how much i want zombies in the game. I'm really happy that we got werewolves and fairies and how well made they were. I know some people had some bad experience with zombies before in The Sims games but i think everything can be worked up. So i just want to share (and read others) ideas for Zombies (or a pack with zombies) in TS4 . Zombie life state: At their first level they'd only slowly roam around throught the night trying to fulffil their needs but failing (they don't know how to interact with people or objects). Then the perks would help the zombie be more effective fulfiling their need but getting weaknesses that make sims more afraid of them. • Perks: - Stenght - Running - Speech - Reasonable - No photosensibility • Weakness: - Infection - Smelly - Rotting skin - Brain/Flesh hunger - Loosing body parts - Disfunctional at daylight • Cross pack compatibility: - Base Game: Yood relationship wíth ghosts (their smart friends); - Get to Work: New serum fir immortslity that turns sims into zombies (need to be drank before dying); - Vampires: Zombies spawning around Vlad's manor and vampires disgusted by their blood; - Realm of Magic: Spellcasters can reanimate deceased sims as zombies with new spell or failed necrocall or dedeathify spells; - Life and Death: Zombies spawingn in cemeteries at midnight; About the invasive zombies destroying all rhe gardens in TS3 this can just not happen because there's no more " Plants vs Zombies" collab so that wouldn't make sense and it was very invasive. The pack could just bring a lot challenge where zombies spawn there and attack the house (slamming the door and groaning at the windows) at midnight for a short time. About the world i thought of Haiti (or the whole Hispaniola island or Caribbean) since in real life zombies are related to voodoo practices that are really popular there and i've seen that the whole zombie thing in pop culture was based on real cases of zombies in Haiti. It would also be a great opportunity to collab with haitians and show the world something better than poverty. I think that the haitian's voodoo could even be an opportunity to bring us snakes as pets or friends (if this is ever allowed in it) in the game since they have a special place in this religion one of them, Damballa, being the creator of the world. For the world i'd like to see more mountains scenery since i really it from TS2 (PS2) and a better take on creole and french architecture than Willow Creek gave us. And also Haiti have something really like the brazilian favelas which is something people apparently have much interest in and i'd really like to see portrayed in the game but not with Rio (I'd prefer other brazillian places to be portrayed in the game), so that's an opportunity. I also think this could be a great opportunity to fulfill the simmer's wishes for a Caribbean world, black culture and more swimmable areas (maybe a yatch too). Oh and they could and should totally bring back miss Mambo Loa, she totally deserves a powerful comeback and like... Loa is a kind of spirit from Voodoo, so...
GTW Detective VS Burglar
Welp I was playing my Detective sim household and a burglar spawned. Disappointingly there's really nothing special besides fighting them. I wish our Detective Sims who we are currently playing at the moment (not as NPC) can straight up arrest them. Mine just fought them off and they ran away. Kinda bummer.
Suggestion - Sims 4 - Sims with Disabilities
I honestly believe Sims 4 is the perfect environment to represent people with disabilities. There are very few major games which do so. Elements that could be put in include: Wheelchair Bound Sims Ramps/Elevators they can use instead of stairs Walkers/Canes (for elderly/injured sims) Deafness add Sign Language skill. Without it, they would be limited to non verbal communication. Appropriate handicap in learning auditory skills Blindness Seeing eye pets White Canes Appropriate handicap in learning visual skills And so on...Sims 4 adding airplanes, airports expansion pack ?
I bean been thinking a new expansion pack called airports so we could have airports in sims 4 so Sims can travel around the world , they can move in the Country to moving in into their houses , so the Sims could not travel by teleporting anymore, so the Sims can have snacks on a plane or in the airport they can also use the restrooms in the airport and they can sit the chairs and post on social media and the airport and the plane while they’re flying to there destinations , And adding airplanes in the sims 4. so do you thank that is a good idea ? ☺️🥰
EP Pack ideas
It's probably already talked about if it is attached to the thread please and thank you. The packs I would like but might never be made is a Theme Park Pack and and Water Park Pack Theme Park Go there or check in a hotel buy tickets and ride rides like a roller coaster, carousel, Tower of terror, play games and win prizes buy souvenirs, eat just have a fun day. Water Park Go there or check in hotel, change into bathing suits, relax at the lazy river, relax but the lounge chairs, battle the waves at the wave pool, or bring back the surfing machine, tons of water slides and eat. Crime and Punishment Bring Back pickpocket but if you get caught go to jail, kleptos go to jail, you breaking in and get caught go to jail or a warning. Also you have the option to play as a prisoner like inZoi you'll be limited to stuff like no phone, no regular clothes, you have duties be a cook, or clean, you do something else bad in jail you go to solitary where you just sit there with absolutely nothing. Or if you chose not play as a prisoner loading screen back to the house but your sim is greyed out with bars could be day or two before they get out. Medieval EP and Victorian EP Like become a royal or a peasant duel, become a knight. Victorian have balls, the women be out for the season to find a Duke, Marquess, Viscount, Earl, or Baron. Anymore suggestions.
Forever Free Packs for Everyone
The Sims 4 is a 10-year-old game with over 100 DLC packs (106), and EA will likely keep releasing more for years. Competing life-sim games like Inzoi and Paralives offers much of this content in their base game. For example, Inzoi can provide content equivalent to 30–40 Sims 4 packs in its basegame for the price of just one expansion pack(40$) and we already have 20 of them. To stay competitive and keep players engaged, EA should make some older packs permanently free—such as Seasons, Cats & Dogs and Get to Work. Giving 2–4 free packs from each pack category would greatly benefit new players so they can complete other packs without pirating. For players who already own these packs, EA could offer new Kits free for a month (like they did with Desert Luxe Kit when The Sims 4 became free). I think forever free packs should be; 2 expansion packs -> seasons, cats and dogs (out of 20 eps) 2 game packs -> dine out, get to work (out of 12 gps) 4 stuff packs -> cool kitchen, bowling night, backyard, spooky (out of 20 sps) 4 kits -> throwback fit, industrial loft, blooming rooms, carnaval streetwear (out of 40 kits of excluding 11 creator kits and 2 spongebob kits, total 53)
[EBN] Multiple Role Sims show up in Innisgreen
I'm starting to see other Sims showing up as the special Role NPC's in Innisgreen. For example: there are now two Gnome Enthusiast in my game as well as two Fairy Council Liaisons. Different names. Different Sims. Same Title. FYI: Care Ren the Fairy Council Liaison is wearing a Style Influencer outfit. Like many students, I am currently dealing with very limited finances. Tuition fees, study materials, housing, food, and everyday expenses take priority, and they are becoming more expensive every year. Even scholarships often barely cover basic needs, leaving little to no room for additional expenses such as game expansions or extra content. For me, The Sims 4 is more than just a game. It is a creative outlet and a small escape from academic pressure, stress, and long study hours. Being able to relax, build stories, and create worlds in the game has helped me cope during demanding periods of my education. I fully understand that expansion packs are premium, paid content and that developing them requires time, effort, and resources. This post is not meant as a demand or complaint, but rather as feedback from players who genuinely love the game yet are not always in a financial position to access its full experience. Sometimes it can feel discouraging when additional content is financially out of reach, especially for students who already have to make difficult choices about where to spend their money. Even limited-time trials, student-focused initiatives, or community opportunities could make a meaningful difference for players in similar situations. I truly appreciate the work of the developers, the creativity behind the game, and the community team that supports it. I simply wanted to share how important accessibility and understanding different player circumstances can be, particularly for students. Why are moodlets not sorted by time remaining?
This is something I keep an eye on, not only in sims but in other games too for my inner peace. In another game I got a mod to sort moodlets (they are called buffs there) by time remaining because like in the sims they keep jumping around by default. With my settings the oldest or passive auras are first and then the timer gets smaller and smaller. This is so satisfying to look at. Also it makes it possible to read some of them. Now in sims its a whole different feature. The sorting seems arbitrary, The list auto collapses after one second the more moodlets we accumulate. Which has been one of my biggest nemesis' in the game for a very long time especially when I found out thats intentional. Most of the time I could only read what they do by pausing the game. And the blinking is super annoying the more moodlets are about to expire. Then there are moodlets with an extra white frame around them. Apparently those are special moodlets. Somehow. But most of them are no different than the moodlets without it. Now with a mod I have the list always expanded. Its called "Keep Buff/Moodlet Panel Always Open". Sometimes a sim has so many moodlets that they hit the pause button. Doesnt really bother me because I can still reach them to read what each moodlet is for. But it blows my mind that this pretty vital feature doesnt get improved.
The Sims™ 4 Music Expansion Pack
Hey, I've seen a lot of music-related topics here but all of them were about bands so I decided to give my idea of something that would be larger than bands and worthy of an expansion pack instead of a game pack, and before you say anything - hear me out. Music is something that makes our life better, I can't imagine a life without music, all those sounds that were being created for centuries have always been something that people liked. The music industry over the years has gotten so much more attention and is currently one of the highest-paid industries in the world. Making a game pack only about bands would be such a missed opportunity. For starters, I think that there should be three ways of gameplay: solo, group, or band. Bands and groups will have the ability to practice together and groups will be able to harmonize. You can leave a certain group or band and go solo anytime you want. There should be also a new management menu that would allow us to: manage the members of our group or band see our recognition level with the number of fans change the name of our singer/group/band view all released music and see which place it took on the charts schedule (and view already scheduled) concerts and concert tours display of the current record label with the description of advantages and disadvantages Besides that, there should be two new traits connected to singing and performing giving a little advantage when singing and performing and three new skills: classical singing, contemporary singing, songwriting, and one hidden skill called performing. Also, a new skill for the new instrument - drums, obviously. Classical singing is something that allows our Sims to be opera singers, they will be able to practice it by going on paid vocal lessons or by themselves (but this way is less effective and can harm/strain the voice easily). They can go and audition for a job and depending on their classical singing skill, they might be accepted and work in the opera (rabbit hole). Contemporary singing is right now one of the most popular ways of singing and that is the type of singers that record labels want. Sims can learn contemporary singing the same way as classical singing - by going on paid vocal lessons or by themselves (but this way is less effective and can harm/strain the voice easily). Solo, groups, or bands can record covers of certain songs and then post them on the internet. Depending on their skills and ways of promotion, they will gain recognition, and the bigger their recognition is and the hype over the cover, the bigger the chance a record label will call them and offer them a certain record deal. Another way of getting into a record label would be to record a demo of an original song and wait for the response of a certain record label. Record labels will have two types: Major and Indie. Major labels will be all about profit and domination in the music market. + you will gain a lot more recognition, fame, and money + your songs will get higher on the charts (also with a big chance of achieving 1st place) + your music will be of very high quality and you will have access to the best recording studios in the new world for free + concerts and concert tours expenses will be paid for by your label - you will have less control over the music (they will tell you what you need to do to complete the requirements included in the contract, for example, release 5 songs in the R&B genre, which also will be finally added) - they will own all songs that were created by you during the time under that label (if you released a song and you will leave that label you will not be able to sing it at concerts and any money etc.) - they will take a certain % out of your earnings - they will schedule concerts and concert tours for you, whenever they want Indie labels will be more artist-friendly but also will be less important in the music market. + you will have full control over your music + you will own all your songs - it will be harder for you to go on top of the charts (but this depends more on recognition and fame levels) - you will gain less recognition, fame, and money - all expenses will have to be paid by you There will be an option to negotiate a major record deal and if the major record label agrees with you (depends on your recognition level and fame), a certain disadvantage will be removed. So for example, if you decided that you want to negotiate control over your music, if successful, you will have control over your music in the major label. Recording music You can record music and release it anytime you want, even if you don't have a record deal with a major label but remember that an expensive recording studio will give you higher quality songs but also will be indeed, very expensive. Performing You can perform anywhere and anytime you want but you can also schedule a concert or concert tour (even if you don't have a record deal with a major label but this will be very, very expensive). There will be a special menu that will list all available places for you to book, as well as a new venue called stadium (similar to The Sims 3) that will be a big arena in which our global stars will be able to sing and perform.
