Suggestion - Sims 4 - Sims with Disabilities
I honestly believe Sims 4 is the perfect environment to represent people with disabilities. There are very few major games which do so. Elements that could be put in include: Wheelchair Bound Sims Ramps/Elevators they can use instead of stairs Walkers/Canes (for elderly/injured sims) Deafness add Sign Language skill. Without it, they would be limited to non verbal communication. Appropriate handicap in learning auditory skills Blindness Seeing eye pets White Canes Appropriate handicap in learning visual skills And so on...
For those arguing why the Hijab & whatnot are not in a seperate pack:
*sigh* Surprised people have to explain this but here goes: Are you seriously comparing the amount of content in the Holidays pack to this patch which has "Islamic" (even though, it is more cultural than anything but let's go with how the community is describing it) content which can be counted on your fingers? Are you genuinely convinced that they should make packs for EVERYTHING remotely representative? Because if so, that means the LGBTQ+ content should've had a pack and it didn't and we are all fine with it. Simple, don't use it. "But BUT BUT TOWNIES WILL BE GENERATED WITH THESE OUTFITS Dx!!!" We don't know that yet, they may have unique tags, so chill.
Hotel Game Pack
Just to be clear what I am going for is a bit of old school luxury in my hotel choices. Something that centers around the aesthetics and service. Also since the Sims tends to skew American I went for more of a Great Britain feel with a bit of luxury Egypt. I tossed in a little Overlook Hotel too. Wants and fears are not gonna be ok for me. I was so used to whims! Turning them off wouldn't be right for me, I just am connected to whims. Maybe make an option button to enable and disable whims and wants and fears respectively. The image of Humiliated Sakuya has whims, that's what I want to see. I don't need to see Shion stay on the lot for 8 hours or be alone, I want whims.Sims 4 Multiplayer or Online
Sims 4 online or multiplayer should be an expansion pack where you can play with your friends live on the Sims 4. Basically, in a household, you can both go into create a sim and be able to create one household together. Also, you should be able to do the same but with building house. Both have access to the same lot on one world and be able to build together and play live together. Another option could be you can both play on the same exact world/game but build different houses and different households that can visit each other. I just think the game would be way more enjoyable if you could be able to play live with your friends. Thank you.
Changing Keybindings in The Sims 4
This is the real issue with this game ! Why are there not a way to change my keybindings in this game.! Heard many say that it is needed, and i think THIS IS the only game in the world with lack of that feature. I just found out about the daily login rewards from social media and I'm already confused. There's no dedicated, official Sims 4 announcement explaining them on twitter (at least not that I've found), and I'm not able to access my game for a couple days so do I just...miss out on them? I'm so confused! I play the game constantly I literally have 7k hours logged and I haven't seen any clear explanation of how they work, and I have no way of checking while I'm away from my computer! If there's three items in one week, and you have to log in once per day to get them, what happens if your first login is on a Friday? Do you just miss out when the week resets if you don't have enough days? Someone please explain! Like I said, I've been playing this game since it launched on Mac, I have over 7k hours logged, I even have all the pre-order bonus content from packs that frankly, I'm not much of a fan of. And now I could be potentially missing out on items because I'm away from my desktop for a day or two? When I spend so much of my time and money on the game? Native American Cultural Content
You think they can some Native American cultural content? I get there are many different tribes with their own cultures so it would be impossible to add everything; but there is some feedback and suggestions. Fry Bread recipe Hopi kachina dolls Jingle dress (often worn at Pow wows and for dancing) Adobe and Southwestern style houses and furniture Maybe certain hairstyles (the Princess Leia wig can sort of work if turned into an actual hair style as it was most likely inspired by the Hopi). clothing and jewelry with bead work (if that is possible) or turquoises jewelry bolo ties which can be used by so many people in general, works well for sims living in Oasis Springs Pottery and woven rugs, baskets, etc.... Even dream catchers that can be used in nurseries like mobiles are and maybe help keep monsters under the bed away (as they are meant to protect from nightmares, so it can add an extra bonus interaction similar to parents spraying the bed. I am sure others can help give some ideas or tell them what best to avoid (think stay away from warbonnets as they aren't something worn by everyone and have to be earned and things like that, so stick with more common traditional or neo-traditional items as that would be the best way to add things without causing problems); but it would be nice to at least see them try.
Too many "Lovestruck" couples everywhere!
[Edit 2024-10-10 -> Adding the pic which represents the topic name better] I knew there was a similar discussion. However, I haven't found any discussion about this issue about "everywhere" yet. So, I start a new one with the information from my testing with my saved file. (Disclaimer: My save is modded, has MCCC, and has "Show Sim Info" to get info.) I visited a park in Chestnut Ridge and found a couple named Roswell who live in Strangerville. It's so lovely, isn't it? But there are some strange things about this. If you have Strangerville GP, you will know that... Townies who live in Strangerville "rarely" spawned outside their world. Some places have exceptions about region limits such as restaurants, bowling lots (team members with uniforms), gossipers in Finchwick Fair, etc. You can't find them appearing outside without a special role. Then I have evidence that it's a Lovestruck (EP16) issue. I used the "Show Sim Info" mod to see the name of their role and found this (red underline). This can make sure that they are spawned by the game to have a date. In another try that I played for a longer time, after a few minutes, the game spawns at least 3 couples. I saw from other players that it can reach 4 couples too. About my personal opinion. It would be cute and lovely if it's only 1-2 couples and has the more rare chance to appear such as 10-20% or 50% at most. It shouldn't be every time like the current situation. They should respect the region-limited rule if it exists. And they shouldn't appear in the place they shouldn't be such as temple ruins in Selvadorada. I think it would be better to give "EP16NPC_VenueDate" sims in a specific place to make it more special. Why don't they appear mostly in Ciudad Enamorada, the city of love? I wouldn't complain if it's like that. You can spawn as many lovers as you want in the city of love! Or I think it can be like "The Festival of Light" in Mt. Komorebi where couples from every world are spawned. It should be a collab with Seasons EP's Love Day too. I wouldn't complain much if the couple is spammed on this holiday. (But please don't give "situation outfit" to them cruelly lol.) I don't mind about the same couple appearing again and again if it's for a more special situation. This time, I can't make up my mind to play the main save until there are some mods to fix this. (Sadly I can't disable this pack because I already use the new hairstyle from this EP in my main sims because it fits him perfectly. And I'm busy lately, so I can wait longer.) That's all! I don't save this process in my main save, but I am honestly happy with Roswell for having a lovely moment time during this short period, even in the Gym! PLEASE stop sims from autonomously using their phone
make a box to check that makes the sims stop autonomously using their phone. they already have short lives and they spend half of that life on the stupid phone, like real, stupid people. I play the sims to get away from real people who are addicted to their phone. please just make this stop. it isn't fun or neat or cute, it's just dumb.
