Split Swatches for the Build-Buy Catalog
You know how the Sims 2 had the swatches separated within each item? So you could, say, select the color of the wood for the item, then independently select the upholstery or countertop color? That. I want that for TS4. So much. Would it be a gargantuan amount of work to do that for the whole buy catalog? Absolutely. But it would give us so many more options and so much more flexibility in terms of item selection, and it would essentially multiply the entire catalog without adding any new meshes. At present, I cannot tell you how many times I've changed the whole color scheme of my build just because it's the only one that matches the wood color I want. But if the swatches were switched so that we could mix and match them a la TS2, it would fix that! No longer must our bedroom colors be dictated by the bedding! I would also love, love, love this for the build side of BB, where, for example, the window panes are separate from the frame colors, or the baseboards and wainscoting are separated from the paint or wallpaper. However, this is secondary to the Buy side of things, as that's where the bigger pain point is, in my opinion. Anyway, that's what I want. And since the most recent thread I could find on this general topic was from 7 years ago, it felt like it might be time for a fresh one. Thanks!
Fixing the Sims 4 is a lost cause
Many of the expansion packs would need to be completely recoded to address some of the biggest issues and bugs with them (e.g. For Rent), and I doubt EA will do that when they won't make money off of it. And so far for every "fix" they make, there's two new problems. I implore people to stop buying Sims 4 content until EA actually makes the game playable or finally admits they were wrong about not moving on to the Sims 5. Even Sims 4 content creators that are partnered with EA are getting tired of this BS What the Sims 5 should be: OPEN WORLD!!! --- No more loading screens that kill the flow of gameplay. Every lot should be fully customisable, including public parks. Seasons, cats + dogs, multi-cultural worlds, and fleshed-out gameplay options for all sim ages should be included in the base game. "Vacation" worlds should also be available to live in and customise. Events like weddings, birthdays, and funerals should be functional(crazy, I know). Townie outfit generation that isn't throwing on every accessory under the sun, venues that already have townies in them when your sim shows up. Sims that go to the bathroom, shower, and eat, without being told to every time (maybe allow simmers to create morning routines for their sims?). Quick showers that still don't take two hours. In fact, all basic functions should get done fairly quickly. I shouldn't have to wake my sim up four hours early to get them out the door to work on time. Slightly nicer graphics and Sims that don't look uncanny! Either lean into the stylisation or away from it. I don't need to see the pores in my sim's face or anything, but if the style could be a bit more cohesive, that would be nice. COLOUR WHEELS!!! PLEASE!! for everything: eyes, hair, skin, furniture, walls. It could allow for the creation of colour palettes as well. At the very least, furniture should be able to match, especially when they come in the same pack. Gameplay that is sillier and messier without being annoying. I like feuding with other sims, cheating scandals, etc. I would like more of it. If I'm starting off with an adult sim, I should be able to pick a few skills that they are already good at. Lot outfits - basically the lot decor changes with each season (I don't have to re-add a snowman outside, every time it changes to winter) The Sims 4, with all the packs, is the most expensive video game in the world. And the Sims 4 has over 100k daily players. Most of the packs cost as much as a regular video game. We should not have to beg for the Sims 4 to be functional. Ghost sim pregnancy It would be cool if a ghost sim or just a sim would be able to have children with each other if the ghost got pregnant u would see a ball of light in the baby bump and when born It would be born as a wisp u can level up the wisp and help them be born again threw a sim Sim if pregnant by ghost And if a sim got pregnant by a ghost u would see like a light glow from the baby bump and have little animations like the light leaving the belly in the same freaking out the sim then it goes back in the belly Baby or children ghost sims When the baby ghost is born the baby is still alive and we'll have a little bit of a ghost abilities nothing for us to use though like when the baby throws a tantrum it'll make the electricity of the house start going crazy or if it's playing with blocks it can make the blocks levitate in the air but once the child starts getting older he will start losing his ghost abilities and once he hits that young adult age he has to choose to be sim or a ghost Let me know what u guys thinkMermaids occults revisited

lol If u have The Seasons expansion U can use water ball to hold the mermaids in place so they can't swim away wind ball could hold a sim in place when ur underwater so they can breathe and with the ice u can freeze in place until u decide to let them go Hydration gauge And the meter will be the same with the hydration with the hydration washing ur hands taking shower swimming that will keep full which we know but if u kiss a sim u can drain all the moisture making them them dehydrate and feeling up ur water gauge it won't kill the sim it would just make them thirty which will an hydration option if u want to use it Mermaid tails Like how they have mermaid tails they should make some fancy octopus legs or shark tails and also have some fins on the arms and back or maybe cheeks with some Just started playing again for the first time in a few months, but the fact that I keep getting a little popup at the top of my screen where the store icon is that says "September Sale is on!" every 1-2 minutes made the game unbearable. I'm fine with seeing the ads for what's new and sales when I first open the game, but I don't want to be bombarded with ads the whole time I'm playing.
Fix this disaster of a game already
Sims will not change clothes appropriately as they should. WHAT IS THE POINT of all the different clothes options if they won't change clothes when they get off the school bus when there is a blizzard going on or when they are cold in general. They don't change out of cold weather clothes when they go inside to a perfectly nice environment, or go on a date or anything else. It is especially important when conditions are life threatening like too cold or too hot but they will stand there like idiots and die. Or they're starving and decide to go play a video game. Or food laying all over the counter that doesn't spoil but the toddler still goes and asks someone for good and gets given some crap popcorn. That is IF everyone isn't too busy standing around doing NOTHING for eons. Or they're fully in the red needing sleep, food and hygiene and they just stand around not doing anything. I shouldn't have to use a cheat to make them happy to prevent them from dying. Or I age up a fairly thin child sim and some kind of freakish, fat, slob emerges that in no way resembles either of his parents and he is wearing flaming starry eye makeup. I am so sick of seeing male npcs running around like this and/or with bows in their hair and it darn sure should not be forced upon my played sims. Taking care of infants and babies is a whole torture of its own. Pets are not fun like they should be. More of an annoyance than anything else. I mean there is only so much time in one day people. I swear there is not one single element of this game that is not broken in my game and yet you keep on pumping out new content to bloat it and break it even more. I am so close to being DONE and I mean DONE that I can't see straight. I have tried to be a good player and participate in bug reporting and troubleshooting and that takes a lot of time. Only to see a lot of the problems put on hold because not enough people are reporting them. You know how many copies of the game you sell and how many accounts actually register and actively try and help make things better. I would bet anything that percentage might be 30% and that there are a lot of people who can't be bothered because they haven't invested in owning everything and actually playing a lot. They probably play other stuff as well. So I am sure there are or would be many more people than myself having these issues in like saves. And for the people who are registered, they have probably gotten tired like me and don't really bother anymore because why waste all the time when not much comes from it and the stuff that gets fixed is minor compared too the larger issues that just sit around. Like my sims having no self preservation and it being a constant battle to prevent my sims from dying from random bull. I shouldn't have to spend points to make them immune to weather. She has the points but I was trying to play a normal game with her. As in she gets tense or stressed from work, isn't immune to weather. But for the latter that would require that she switch clothes properly, The joke is on me right. Almost twice in one day. And then, the child above aged up into this monstrosity below so it might have been better if I had just let it go and then I would be a little less ticked off. What fun I do manage to have in this game is quickly overshadowed by all of the existing bugs and problems going on. I only play one save folks, because that is where my sims are. If it breaks there is no take two. It's Game Over for me. Honestly, I don't know why I bother. I guess because speaking up is the only thing I can control about this misery.More Build/Buy Categories
Since there are so many DLC these days there is now thousands of items and trying to find certain ones can be really frustrating. More categories would be great such as mailboxes, trashcans, table plants, free standing plants, laundry items, single beds, double beds etc. It would be extremely useful and much easier when trying to find items.

[HSY]Toilets in Plumbite Pier
I wish they would install toilets at the amusement park. There are no toilets at the amusement park at Plumbite Pier, so Sims have to walk to the toilets in Totter Park, and it's painful to see NPC Sims always on the verge of wetting themselves. I really hope they install toilets at the amusement park even now.
Creating, Saving & Sharing Custom Styled Looks
Hi all, Is this something other simmers would be interested in? I personally don't enjoy CAS. I have no fashion sense and I can't make nice looking outfits. I use the Styled Looks section of CAS for every single outfit for all of my sims. So all my sims lok the same. It's getting really boring. When I've downloaded sims from the gallery, I've seen some of the outfits used are really really nice and creative! I would absolutely love to be able to: Create new custom Styled Looks Saved these custom Styled Looks Share these custom Styled Looks to the gallery for other players to use Does this sound like a good idea to every else? When they announced Trendi with the High School pack I was hopeful it would be something like this, but as it standard Trendi is really quite rubbish. I can't even preview the disgusting outfits.
Disable Festival Notifactions
I have all packs. Right now, I'm leisurely combining packs of Paranormal and Crystal Creations. It's the game I built specifically built for the Reaper event. I have the story in mind for Eva as she trials through spectacles but also trying to enjoy her hobby as a jewelry maker. ...which possibility also wants to understand more with Grim and his...line of work... The festivals notifications with the music and popups drive me absolutely INSANE. Does it for other players? I just want a nice quiet (well semi quiet when its daytime) gameplay. However it irks the living soul out of me to continuously receive notifications of Prom, Football, (Eva is a young adult!) City Living festivals, the cottage festivals, The Festival of Light...oh. my. god. PLEASE....😞 I turned off my mods and I don't want to play with them for a while. I'm enjoying the game without them through this save file. I have noted with the mods, I undergo too-many-items syndrome where I want to play with this mod, then this one, and this one. I was getting overwhelmed and turned them off. I'm just sending hopefully an idea or some kind of feedback to PLEASE give me the option to turn off the notifications or even delete festivals I'm not interested in this save file. Please save my sanity.
Can we have some kind of a Dino Pack?
okay so i've watched Winx Club from Season 7 which is based about your past behaviour it has consequences with the current life and the future that will be in danger (just like how it is in real life which involves the animals) and i've watched 1 cute episode which involves around a beast that looked like a Dinosaur which gave me into an idea how about if we can create a story for them similar to Winx Club Season 7 and either Strangerville or Life & Death combined? we can have a cute costume for your sim which is Dino Themed (even little kids can have that costume) maybe some cute creatures you can interract with and a storyline for the dinosaur how to find certain thing or certain person (like a baby dino or something the mom or dad or both has lost or something) and in my opinion it should be in a Game Pack rather than a Expansion Pack maybe we can perhaps have a Dino skill or something so you get to know their Dino life (or creature skill so the higher the skills are the more options you can interract with) we can have the library similar to Strangerville or the Werewolve pack you get to know about the Dino life we can have atleast 1 aspiration with this pack i shared the similar idea from awhile back which also mentions the past and the dino life i know it's merged nowadays but maybe they can complement with one another very well but i'm not sure if it should be merged in 1 pack, what do you think about these 2 combined into 1 pack? maybe it can have a South/Latin America based world? (Mexico or Brazil perhaps?) just thought i share some ideas (i apologize if i used winx club for some inspiration) do others have any ideas about this pack based on what it should be about?can we have smaller faces in CAS?
take these 2 for examble, these are small faces now don't get me wrong i love how it has things for everyone and there's nothing wrong with that (can you imagine you have to stick with limited faces, how boring will that be? it's like playing someone elses gameplay if you ask me) we need more diversity so i'm in for that! and i love the team keeps adding something new and in some occasions the faces too but we have so little small faces and not everyone has big faces (me included) so i'd like if more small faces get added (i mainly means the noses but mouths, eyelashes, cheeks, ears and eyes are welcome too) i apologize if face isn't the right word for it so the team have my permission to change it to something else that match with my explaination but i don't know how i can explain it otherwise (and the screenshots makes it a little easier to explain what i'm rather missing) this link inspired me to create my own version but little differently i didn't knew if i should've added it there or if i should create my own topic but i decided to do the latter to make sure i'm all good i tried to create my simself but it's so hard to create one if we have so little small faces in CAS and yes i can even speak for the male sims, not just female sims👍 do correct me if i'm wrong and i'm not looking too well or something but i find it difficult to find small faces i know it's so little of them but as you can see in both male and female versions, some faces are really small and this is needed in my opinion!
