Glass wall missing matching roof & Missing glass walls
In line with Life & Death and Greenhouse Haven Kit getting matching walls, it would be great to see EBN's glass wall design get a matching roof. I mentioned it in the comments of the above post, but it's not been made clear in the Laundry List that EBN is included. Additionally. LD glass walls were not added in today's (04.11.25) update.
[GALLERY] Default sort order changed to most popular
After the March 17 patch, I logged into my personal gallery page. The images show in download order, rather than newest. That means unless a user knows to look beyond the front page, they won't see my newest creations. I've tried resetting it several times, and it keeps going back to downloads order. All Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? click on the lovely new shopping cart button by mistake and then go in CAS/World view What happens when the bug occurs? This lovely button pulsating again after each loading screen. What do you expect to see? No pulsating (and remove it!) Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never Used Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? 1.105.297.103 How do I turn off the constantly pulsating shopping button? Occult specific careers for aliens and spellcasters.
I don't think all occults need a unique career option, I just can't help but notice the big potential for spellcasters and aliens in that regard. Spellcasters could get the option for a job in the magic realm, not an active career but something more suitable for them to do than some mundane job. They could advance in ranks, becoming an apprentice all the way to becoming a circle's arch mage. They would unlock some nice robes, wands, a cauldron and broom along the way, and some new magic interactions. It would make being a mage more engaging. Improving their spellcasting rank could be a promotion requirement through it as well, and the job only becomes available to spellcasters. Aliens could get an earth explorer career which could be a lot of fun. It's all about learning about earth and sims. Could be great as an active career, but can work otherwise too with very interesting assignments. Their career would unlock new alien powers, an alien rocketship with matching space suit, and some other alien stuff.
[Idea] Occult Stuff Pack
RoM, V, W , IP, L&D, EbN and GtW all have occults with limited occult specific CAS and Build/Buy. I'd love a stuff pack to flesh out and fill in the blanks for occults. Some of the occult CAS and Build/Buy are merely themed such as Victorian for Vampires and nature inspired for EbN for example. However, the occults themselves could have a larger range of occult specific themes. Add missing occult ability trees for Mermaids and Aliens. PlantSims be a permanent occult with an ability tree. More traits that would help occult synergy (Mystical, Disruptive and Macabre are the closest occult friendly traits, if you want to discount the basic Good/Evil traits) Lot traits that encourage each or every type of occult to visit and a trait disallow all occults! Feathered and bat wings for Fairies or even Vampires (but be great if it could be any occult). Missing single bed, fridge, stove, etc. for EbN nature theme. RoM's The Iron Counter needs a cabinet counterpart (drives me nuts I don't have matching cabinets for my favourite counter). Small appliances for various occults/themes. Non-plant/flower nature themed CAS and Build/Buy. Air, fire and water/ice fairy themed attire and Build/Buy would be nice to have different elements Fairies. But these could also transcend to other occults such as Mermaids and Spellcasters. Something to do with Spellcaster extra talent points! Edit, Mar 3rd, 2026: Practical Spellcaster's with Scruberoo use in when Hygiene is low (and/or use instead of "clean up/throw away"), Delicioso when Hunger is low, Floralorial for bugs/weeding, etc. autonomously. Mischief Spellcaster use Mischievous spells ons on disliked/despised Sims autonomously. I am not sure how easily Untamed spellcasters can use their spells autonomously. But at least Chillio for Fires! and Zipzap on disliked/despised Sims autonomously. More occult recipes and foods. I mean there is Soul Soup but it is from Level 5 Thanatology and Level 5 Cooking. As well as Curious Pizza and Alien Fruit Tarts for alien/U.F.O fruit recipes. But really more fantasy cuisine would be helpful for occult themed players. The ability to safely have Hybrid Occults without breaking the game, having multiple ability trees (at least 2). It be really nice if RoM had Glimmerbrook expanded to a 3 neighbourhood world. Maybe even for Vampires and Werewolves too. Alchemy, Herbalism and Apothecary recipes should be abled to be used in both the Cauldron and Apothecary Table. And ALL ingredients should be abled to be stored-linked to storage properly (having insects, frogs, metals, crystals (at least link the CCSP Gemology Table to pull from as recipes pull from the fridge), etc. not linked/stored together is very annoying to pull out of other storages). Familiars could be expanded, that they can change their moodlet buff, have interactions, etc. Add small pets fantasy creatures such as baby dragons. The ability to make any occult Immortal and stop aging. As a special trait. The ability to add the Grim Reaper or Father Winter to family tree (as parent) without breaking the game. More fantasy/alien plants. I love these and really cannot get enough of them. If you are not going to add/update your packs where there is missing/wanted features CAS/Build/Buy. Just put it in a pack to expand the occult themes :)
New theater jobs
I think there could be some more active playable Jobs, one in particular i have in mind would be a Theater. Since there are already jobs as a comedian and singer, it would be amazing to actually make the Sim perform on stage and having other Sims sit in that Theater. Adding some new joboptions such as: Dancing career - Ballet and Breakdance (In Ballet a child could already start visiting classes, they could get famous when reaching adulthood and if they have enough skills for the Theater. Breakdance would start at teenage age and could be merged with the Highschool Pack for example.) Music Career - Musicals and Bands (In Musicals you need acting, dancing and singing skills and it would be about which parts you get to play as. You can also create your own Band and have to start with performing in Bars and Events, when your Band gets famous enough you can then perform a Concert in the Theater.) Some add ons with more music instruments like cello, drums and flutes, which would also be needed for the Bands.
IDEA: Easel Painting: Add Frame
The Painting Skill only comes with one frame: Black. It would be a great update if the same color choices we get with Add Frame to Photos (Photography Skill) were applied to our painted art from the Painting Skill. Empty Frames would be a cool Buy Mode item to add to the game. These empty frames would snap to Small, Medium and Large paintings and come in a variety of sizes, styles and colors. Empty Frames could also be used as a stand-alone wall decor item to create an artistic gallery feature wall. Consider including more modern and vintage Picture Wall Lights. Additions like these would could fit perfectly as a Kit, or include in a larger Stuff Pack that introduces a new Art Hobby, such as a Sculpting or an Antiques/Art Collector pack. Missing Style Filters for Vampire Dresses
Neither vampire dresses have a style filter. I've gone through each one, and they only show up when no filters are applied. I figured they'd probably fit in with polished or gala or something, but currently they don't apply to any styles, which is annoying when I'm trying to fit with certain styles for the buff and I like using these dresses.
The Sims 4 Blocked in countries it shouldn't be.
I live in lebanon, and found out that sims 4 is blocked in my region both on steam and EA. I looked into it, and my country has not oficially banned Sims 4. What i think happened is: It is supposed to be blocked in a FEW arab MENA countries, but EA instead has blanket-blocked it in ALL MENA countries regardless if the country wanted it to be banned or not. This most definitly an over-sight that should be fixedSİMS 4 -ONE PİECE
I would love to see One Piece-themed furniture and decorations added to The Sims 4. Items like pirate ship-inspired furniture, anime-style posters, themed clothing, and decorative objects based on the One Piece world would make the game much more fun and unique. It could also include items inspired by characters, islands, and the overall pirate adventure theme. This kind of content would attract both Sims players and anime fans, bringing more creativity and storytelling possibilities into the game. I believe a collaboration or themed pack like this would be very popular among the community.I hate drama / Memory Boost
Why doesn't the development team care about what I want Because of jealousy The Sims die quickly and this goes against my playstyle I play with 150 Sims with customizations of course because the development team doesn't like free ideas For the millionth time make it possible to play with 150 Sims and customize them simultaneously and to remove the jealousy Personally I don't like drama. Sims 4 business and hobbies
I feel like you should be able to tattoo the eyes as that's also a very common place people tattoo, it would add more realism and quality to the pack . I also think now that now the creators have stopped making packs ect they should also add more hairdressing features to this pack , as most people have to have the get famous pack in order to mimick it , adding just a few hairdressing equipment and the ability to draw on hair for the hairdressing aspect (like the tattoos ) it would make a whole lot of people buy the pack as well as making the pack to it's best potential and making it worthwhile!
Broken objects too frequent
All of my households upgrade their appliances, plumbing etc so they don't break as often but still there's a handful of objects that break every. single. day. It's too much! I do save every sim day - because I have to given the sims's track record with crashing and lagging. I heard saving may be causing this. Still, it's too much. Please either give everything a fully unbreakable upgrade option or reduce the frequency. Never used cc or mods. Mac.
Ideas for DLC items on events
I'd like to say that i really liked the idea of adding new stuff to old DLCs throught the events. The packs really need some updates and that includes some items missing in them so this is really good to see. Of course the ideal would be refreshes but as we can't have them, getting items here and there can be good and useful. So here are some ideas of content we should get: Alien antennaes for Get to Work Bandages for Get to Work: Mainly for head, torso and legs; For arms only if we can use both arms at the same time. Plasma fruit recipes stall for Vampires Vampiric Emporium stall for Vampires Adult version of vampire's children hairs for Vampires Animal ears headpiece for Cats & Dogs (NEW) Dog houses Clothesline for Seasons: Compatible with clothes wet by rain. Lightning strike scar for Seasons (NEW) Shark/Dolphin/Eel tail for Island Living Fin-like ears for Island Living/Enchanted by Nature Fixed Patchy's hat for Realm of Magic Mentoring black board/podium for Realm of Magic (NEW) Functional small cauldrons for Realm of Magic Werewolf body hair for Werewolves (NEW) Wolfsbane corsage: Weakens werewolves Unicorn horn as sim's headpiece for Horse Ranch Fur pants for Enchanted by Nature
Suggestion: Jobs For Dance Skills & Singing Skills
Dance skills. Currently, this skill only improves your dancing ability and cannot be used as a profession. I think that's a waste. There are many possible professions, such as dance instructors or backup dancers. Of course, this would require the significant work of motion capture and the creation of new code. However, I think it would be wonderful if players could feel even more familiar with the many amazing songs provided by music creators by having Sims dance to them. And then there are singing skills. Currently, the only goal to improve this skill is writing lyrics, and even then, only lyrics on given themes. I think there should be a profession for singer-songwriters, and it would be great if Sims could combine it with dance skills to become singers who sing and dance, as many musicians do today. Creating professions with cross-packs might be a bit complicated, and planning and construction might be difficult. However, I think that a game like The Sims 4, which has been around for over 10 years, needs a refresh of older packs, something that was only done once before.
