Hi, I have had this error code 123:1034405:ff49c79f appear when I try and play the game. I have restarted the game many times, reinstalled the game and tried repairing it, but with no luck. I don't have any mods installed. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks!i can't move sims into a home
basically what the title says. i can't move sims into a house. it first started when i couldn't make them interact with one another so i deleted some mods that were used for the gameplay, and then tried logging back in, and i suddenly couldn't play with the household i was in. it would show me all the worlds and when i would select a house it would just send me back to the menu with all the worlds. ive tried to restart the household (create a new one and use a household from my library) but it would do the exact same thing. does someone know how to fix this? i literally can't play the game because of this and it's pissing me off.
unable to plan wedding event
Hello, Everytime I try to plan a wedding event, the pop up menu is blank with "Description goes here" . I disbaled all my mods, repaired my games, nothing fixes it. I had the same problem a while ago, and it seem to have been patched and it worked for a while, got back into the game today and the problem is back. Can I do something about it or do I have to wait for a patch fix ? thank youGame endlessly loading/not opening
Every time I try to open the game on steam, it starts to load, the ea popup says "Preparing game", it does that for a minute and then briefly stops, just to start the cycle all over again. The only way to stop it is to hit stop. The same happens when I use the shortcut. I play with mods, but I don't think they're the cause; I haven't downloaded any new ones since the last time I played and I've seen people with way more mods than me play the game perfectly fine. I've tried: Restarting my computer, restarting steam, and opening it through the files. Any help is appreciated <3Characters in the Sims issue
Hey guys, I'm new to the whole Sims thing but I'm experiencing some issues lately. As soon as an event starts, my sims just stop doing anything, like really anything. They don't go to the bathroom, feed their kids, nothing... They just stare at nothing and start talking to themselves and when the event if done, they stay in that state, and it frustrates me cause at first it started with the father and now the mom and the older sibling AND the nanny Cassidy 😭😭 Idk what to do. The first time when it happened with the dad I had to kill him so he could function again, but this time idk what to do with the others, and I don't want to kill them as well 😭 Please if someone knows what to do or anything.... Cause I really need your help And thanks in advance
no roommate option
when my sim click on any other sim the roommate option will come up in the pie menu, but not when she clicks on the sim i want as my roommate. for example here is an image of her with penny pizzaz vs my sim. (the sim im trying to make my roommate is homeless and the only one in the household)
Can you be turned into a vampire just by offering blood?
I thought you had to ask an existing vampire to turn you but I have been playing a couplewhere the wife is a master vampire and the husband is just a mortal and she got hungry one night and asked him for a bite. Then days later he is checking himself out in the mirror and says something seems odd. I think he might be turning into a vampire so I need to fix that drink which will stop the transformation?Bug with painting
I had been having my sim paint on the sketch pad tablet thing and I wanted a specific painting so was making them do the same type of painting over and over again but they kept making the same one each time I tried moving to an easel but the same painting came up (8 times) I then swapped to a different painting type and they made the same one twice I then shut the game presuming it was a glitch and would be better when I reopened to game and it was my sim could make different paintings I had been making them paint repeatedly for about 3 actual human hours because I was trying to create a gallery wall so I’m not sure if they perhaps got stuck but it did fix itself when I reopened the game I wasn’t sure if I needed to report it because I did manage to fix it but thought I might as well bring it to your attention thank you
Can't Find Garden-Bot ...
Hellooo Everyone, Back again with my issues 🥲 Now that Gardens work AMAZINGLY, I'm having a blast and I've decided to make Garden-bots to help me keep my plants top-notch. So what happened you may ask? Well, I made 3 garden both, and I can't seem to find one (Flora, to be exact). Merryweather is on the Robot station and Fauna is doing its job, but I've checked everywhere and I can't find Flora. Now, I read somewhere that it might have self-destructed, but if that is the case why does it keep showing? I'd rather it disappeared from the listing so I can make a new Flora. Help please? My game has been crashing quite regularly, when opening, when trying to save and most recently it's come up with this error code when trying to save. I'm losing a lot of progress when this happens. I have not got any mods or custom content. I have many packs, kits, expansions. Anyone know what the solution might be?
Achievements Constantly Repopping For No Reason
First off I want to say that I am unsure whether achievements are per household or per save. I would hope they were per EA account since saves can be corrupted and lost. Anyhow, I am playing on PC with fresh game installation, no mods or cc. Achievements that have already been earned in other households keep popping up in groups for achievements that were already earned and also at inappropriate times when the achievement has nothing to do with what my sims are doing. It seems random when they will pop up but it is consistent across the households in this save. It also happens in new saves in which I only have one household. As you can see my sims are all in bed when the All Nighter achievement popped. This was already earned in another household in same save. "What Would It Be Like" achievement already earned in a different household and this is the second time it has popped up for this current household. My sims were chatting in their bathroom when Host With the Most popped up. They have not held any social events at all. Introvert Achievement popped and I had my sim out introducing her to other sims for the Friend of the World aspiration. Rosebud Achievement had popped earlier when I was in another house hold that started their household with 3 million simoleons and that was not a new household. Then it pops again while I was playing this current household who, as you can see, only have 27K simoleons. "Just Getting Started" achievement popped up and I have way more than 5 hours in the current household and probably at least 1000 hours in the game save.My Game Will Launch But cannot load into the world
My game boots up perfectly fine but the second I click resume game it loads for a while then it sends me to the worlds page with a messaging containing this error code: 123:1034405:ff49c79f and then it tells me to relaunch the game. I have relaunched it so so many times. I have taken out ALL of my mods and cc and I am just stuck. I have restarted my entire laptop many times as well. Nothing is working. Please can someone help me!
furniture disappears when unit is rented
just got For Rent. I created a 6 unit building, fully furnished, rented out a couple to 'unknown' Sims, then created a new family to rent out another unit. All the furniture is gone when I move them in. There was no option to rent 'furnished' - it told me that wasn't available (when I rented the unit as the new family). Why did I waste my time wedging all that furniture into that small space if it just goes away?? How can I get it to stay? playing on a mac OS 15.5 -thanks in advance
Small Business Venue not working
Heyo! So I bought a small business venue and I can't open it in any way possible? The small businesses work when I have them as a residential hybrid, but no matter what I do the game won't let me open it. I've tried reseting everything and it still works and I don't have any mods at all installed.
