buggy high school day
Hello, I just had a new bug this morning. My class day was apparently very bad, even though I did all the daily tasks correctly. I did get caught clogging the pipes and got detention for an hour, but I did it, I went to class, I studied, and I did the gym as requested. And at the end of the day, I saw that the bar hadn't been raised, and I received a suspension warning, even though I've had an A for weeks... Still without CC or mod.even on pause, relationships that change
Hello, Big bug today. I think it'll be better when I restart the game. But when I asked my sim to go play ball with her best friend, she went outside alone, and I started getting tons of pop-ups telling me that she had become close friends with so-and-so. I paused it, and the relationship continued to change, as if they were having a very long conversation in a split second... Still without CC or mods.
My sims take an hour to chat with strangers
Almost every time I try to communicate with unknown sims (but this can happen with sims in my household too) they will take a long time to have a first contact then (in some cases the interactions are complicated even after the first meeting). Either they will try to look for a place to sit but they walk strangely, slowly, back up, stop then start again (this only for discussions with unknown sims). So my game runs very well (with the usual bugs of the sims) and it is only the sim with the one I try to communicate and mine that bugs, the sims around have no problem. I want to point out that this bug has been present for a very long time and that I'm reporting it because bug fixes are in progress. I'm playing on a MacBook Air M4 (I've never had a game run this smoothly since then, but the bugs are still present). I'm playing with MCCC and UI cheats as mods, but the bug is still present when I remove the mods. Sincerely, I hope my contribution will be taken into account. Have a nice day.
Tense animals during thunderstorms
I haven't been playing Sims 4 cats&dogs for very long. But, I noticed that all my animals get tense during thunderstorms. Is there a way that I can get them not to be? I've tried everything along the lines of giving them attention and playing with them to try to distract them, but they keep getting tense. I got it to where my Sims arent tense during storms, but I can't figure out how to make my animals comfortable during the summer time when it storms out. Just had one of my child sims channel her inner Sue Storm and disappear after she learned how to ride a bike. She made it pretty far from the house so I sped up the game so she'd make it back faster, but this ended up lagging the bike and then it glitched to the middle of the house, with her still on it and peddling away but absolutely nowhere to be seen. She was still able to interact with objects once I fiddled around with the bike that was stationary but still playing the peddling animation, but due to her invisibility I was unable to shift click and reset her with commands. Not sure if this'll become a recurring issue considering she's the first child I've had learn to ride a bike since getting the Growing Together pack but thought to report it anyway just in case any other struggling simmers are dealing with invisible child biker gangs. To be clear I do have a couple mods (ui cheats, mc command, wonderful whims, rpo) but no cc.
Can't save Builds in game or to the gallery??
After the infamous crappy update in August, I built the most beautiful library in the Sims 4, saved it, and it disappeared when I loaded it up the next day. I made it again a few days later, saved a million times before logging out and shutting my game down, but when I came back, it was gone again. I don't know why I didn't just save the lot to the gallery as a precaution, but obviously, I should have expected that all my work would and should load up when I constantly save it. It showed my library on the Ravenwood world map when I saved it, but when I opened it, it reverted to what it was before I made it a library. I tried to add a few things to another lot while I was playing yesterday, and it wouldn't let me save my lot to the gallery. I can still save rooms. I don't know why this is happening. I've tried repairing my game after the update, but that didn't work. Maybe there's an issue with a mod or custom content I have installed? But I have a lot, so I don't know where to start searching. My laptop is around six years old, and HP Envy x360 with Windows 10. It's about to lose free security updates next month since they're making the big switch to Windows 11. Maybe it's a space or age issue? Because I've been playing the game for as long as I've had this laptop, which my dad gave to me as a graduation present in 2019. I'm considering getting a new desktop computer by the end of the year because I've been told those are better for gaming, especially The Sims. But I'm unemployed currently and about to get food stamps, so I can't do it at the moment. I've spent a lot of time and money investing in expanding my game, so I can't afford to just abandon it. Does anybody have any idea where I can start to fix this issue?Excessive Store/Sale Pop-Ups
Since the last update, the pop-up underneath the Store button in the top right corner announcing the September Sale appears unreasonably often. It disappears when I click on or hover over the shopping cart icon; however, the pop-up pops up every minute or so. Besides the unnecessary and rather rude frequency, the pop-up also blocks the in-game notifications, hindering my gameplay...
Sims Missing Diplomas (DU)
I was playing a household of foxbury students in the campus housing, in total I only had 2/5 get their physical diplomas, 1/5 got their graduation picture (that i’m not upset about bc I did my own photoshoot) and 3/5 got the milestone. I have seen that you can try to repeat the graduation ceremony for the pictures but I don’t know of anything that can create a missing diploma or milestone. Everyone else that’s has this issue has just been freaking out bc it wasn’t 6pm yet but it’s been DAYS in my save file, I got the notifications for all of them and they just.. weren’t in their inventories. I couldn’t check household inventory because apparently student housing doesn’t have one and then they were kicked out of student housing bc they graduated so i’m not sure how to go forward. They have 100% graduated, they have it in the degree section, their profiles, and they got the career boosts, which is great, I just want the physical diploma to put up on the wall :(
Loading and initiating a game
Every time I continue with one of my games, it takes me to the worlds, I pick a family, and somehow, the game never starts; it keeps sending me back to pick a family. I tried to repair the game, checking my mods and everything, but the error is still happening. I waited from the last update until the most recent one because I thought it was a technical issue, and it was going to get fixed once the new update came out. However, I am still facing this issue. I don't want to lose all the progress I have made with the families I created in that world. Please fix itException error when choosing the 'fertilize all' option
When choosing to fertilize all I got an exception error, it was fine when fertilizing individually. I play with mods, but tested vanilla and still got the exception. I play on PC. It was suggested I report this just in case it is a new game bug. I build a lot in Sims 4 and recently I've been unable to save my builds in my library. When I download the file, it never appears in the library. I've found several duplicate and corrupted build files in the library and when I try to delete them, nothing happens. Whats going on? How can I fix this?
Game Crashing
I have not been able to play my game since last month. I tried again today to play, and I am still unable to. Initially, was able to get to the home screen but when I tried to load a household, it would loop me back to the home screen. Now, I can't even get to the starting menu of the game. This is the error that I am seeing.Household Help
I keep getting an LE that I have been chasing since the Enchanted update and unable to play. This error pops up, goes away, pops up again no matter what mods I have and even without mods and even when I load another save file. My game was just fine before. It tells me there is an issue with advancing the story and something about culling and sim has no job. I don't know my sim is a college student. The game seems to run just fine when I removed the Tray folder, then after testing vanilla I put the Tray files back in the Tray Folder, and nothing else, no mods, nothing else, the error came back. There must be bad files or a naughty Sim in my Tray Folder messing up my game so I was going to remove tray files 50/50 until I find which ones were causing the LE. I don't know what files to remove in order to remove a certain Sim or Sims. Does removing HouseholdBinary Files alone remove a Sim or is there more? HHI, SGI, BPI, or TrayItem? If so, how do I know which files go together? The error reports from BE and MCCC give a specific Sim number that contain numbers and letters. Can I know from that? Time freezes in the game always between 5 and 7 AM, the NPC's stand still but continue to move around, I can click Pause or game speed but it has no effect. Even when the game does not freeze I sometimes get the LE and sometimes not but it is always the same error.
Neighborhood stories; relationships
Hi! So my sims in the neighborhood (legacies and townies) aren't getting into relationships. I was able to fix them not having children (sorta, i have to micromanage them), but none of them are getting into relationships. Is anyone else having this issue? they aren't in my played households either but it doesn't work if they are at the same time.
