not full screen
I am really confused my ultrawide monitor has decided to make my sims smaller on my screen. The picture I've attached is what it used to be like the white lines are where my sims screen used to go up to and now it just stopped. Also when I start up the sims my screen is low quality even tho I've got a 240hz monitor and a high end gaming pc this has only started today and I've had this pc less than a week.
Potty training causes my sims to reset and cancel action
I've been having an issue for a while where if my sims (an adult or toddler) try to initiate the potty training action they'll go into a quick t-pose reset and cancel the action from the queue. All animations are typically able to be carried out (sometimes during the talking portion before potty training the toddler and caregiver will stare into space until the action is cancelled), but it's always right before using the toilet that the reset happens. The issue is reported as a constraint issue which could be due to the amount of objects on my lot in my main save file, but the same thing happens in a new save in an unfurnished house. I get this error following a couple of other actions as well, but the potty training one is the only error that happens consistently. I've cleared out any broken or outdated mods I've seen from BE and MCCC reports, but the issue still persists unless I play a reset game with no mods or save files. I don't want to have to build my save completely over again, especially since I've used MCCC to expand the size of my househould and wouldn't be able to save them to gallery for a new save.
saves reverted back to a year ago
I went to play the sims today (4/22/26) and I saw that many of my saved games reverted back to what they were a year ago. New sims I've added are gone and builds/lots I've worked on are gone. I deleted my game files and redid them, and they aren't back. The only thing I can think of is that both my EA app and my Steam app had to be redownloaded a week ago, but I hadn't had time to play since then so I'm just noticing it now. Is there any way to get these things back? It's hours of work just gone.
Complaint - Update Crime
I was informed that the place i listed my complaint was an old post and I needed to put it in a new post. I am so angry to begin with that I thought about not bothering since I as a player am not important to EA what so ever. I'll repost my original rant: I'm angry that after this last update all my dlc has been deactivated. I did the clear cache on the app then all my dlc was uninstalled so i had to reinstall each one individually but they are still deactivated. According to the 'help' crap I need to go to the market place to reactivate. Unacceptable. I refuse. I am not using the market place when i already purchased the dlc before it ever existed. So I won't be playing the Sims. I don't need to play EA games period. EA hates their players. I'm going to like them to a saying from San Diego area. Welcome to La Jolla, please deposit your funds and go away. I'm not depositing funds anymore and I will go away but i thought I'd let everyone know why. Furthermore; the repair button and the download all button have been taken away from the EA app.Runaway pet won't come back!
Hello, my in-game cat ran away and I have been playing for about a month (IRL time) without the cat. I posted the bulletin and everything. I have read that if you save the game while the pet is missing, it won't come back. I also saw another post on here about solving the issue; however, when I click to view the instructions on the EA website, it says I don't have access to this page. Can someone help?
Broken UI/ Dissapearing Menu
I've taken out all script mods and when I load my game my UI is glitched out. My sims icon disappears, then they are greyed out like if they weren't on the same lot. I even tried "M" to move them to another lot, started a new save file, delete local thumb cache, even repairing the game but its still greyed out making the game unplayable because then the mood panel disappears and now the menu for me to exit the game disappeared as well and couldn't be triggered, leading me to exit via task manager. I even tried another household to make sure it wasn't the specific sim and same issue. This happened after the latest update to the Market place. The game if I start a new save file will work normally but after 10 minutes this happens and thats it.
how do i freely rotate products in build mode?
I've looked online and it says to switch to sims 3 camera and hold down alt key this doesn't seem to be working for me on my laptop it just keeps showing me a symbol that looks like a camera and moving tool but doesn't do anything not seeing the grab hand everyone else seems to have? is there another way or what can i do please :)Hidden NPC being culled and became unknown in family tree
Hi there, I found some hidden NPC that I can't see in Manage Households being culled and became unknown in the family tree after playing for a while. I also set the limit sims at Unlimited and moved all premade households in my households so it's not being culled. So far I can recover Ervin Pries by backup to gallery from new save and assigned NPC trait with mod after I tried to play through StrangerVille but the curio shop was closed all the time even the game generated another sim with the same role (conspiracy theorist), Roberto Crinkletop was also culled but I managed to fill in the ongoing save. These Sims are hidden from Manage Households, so I can't favourite to prevent culling in the first place. For severe case, Agnes was culled in my save and I can't connect Agnes to Goth family (see screenshot). I can only assign the relationship bits as Aunt-Nephew to Agnes and Mortimer with a utility mod for workaround but it does not recover the family tree and the family relationship bits are gone every time I relaunch the game. The Forge Family Tree feature also does not support forging two parents at the same time. So my question is: Is there any way to recover this without revert the save? And how can I favourite hidden NPCs in Manage Households to prevent culling in the future?
Help with LE File
Hi, I'm not sure if this is okay to share, but wanted to ask if anyone knows how to read LEs. I had a ton of issues crop with while playing a household last night--specifically one of the infants just would not sleep in his crib even with his sleep meter all the way down--and when I checked my sims folder to see if there was an LE there was a new one that was fairly long. I did try the last exceptions reader, but it came back with a ton of 'unknown errors' which has consistently been my issue with that particular tool. If anyone would be willing to help me, that would be amazing! Thanks!
weird reflections
hey i have an issue with my game.. this has never happened before but all of my windows or anything with reflections have like those weird patterns like a room and idk how to fix it i dont use shaders and i do play with cc and mods can yall help me on how to fix this or tell me the issue please thank uu
Game won’t load cc all at once
For some reason ever since a recent update my game hasn’t been loading I assumed it was due to my custom content, so I took it all out of my game and it loaded perfectly fine so to find the culprit I decided to do the 50/50 method, however as I made my way through the files. I couldn’t find a single mod that was out of date or corrupting my game and I noticed that my game would only load if I put in each piece of cc in small batches. I even went as far as completely uninstalling my game and reinstalling it but the issue didn’t resolve. I didn’t install any new cc since the update and my game has never given me any issues so I’m assuming something must’ve changed in the way the game handles cc. I play with MacBook Air with 16 GB of memory on OS Tahoe 26.4.1
Item saved from web gallery no longer available
I'm on PC and I've just updated my game today. When I was offline a few days ago, I went onto the web version of the gallery and downloaded a couple of items, but couldn't access them because my game was outdated. Now this message, "oops items from web version of the gallery is no longer available" keeps popping up every time I open my game and during random times in the middle of my gameplay. I've already tried deleting caches, removing the items I've downloaded from the web version, adding them back, nothing helped.
Sim can only make poor quality food
My sim has a cooking skill of 3 and a baking skill of 4, but only produces poor quality items with even the most simple food ie grilled cheese. I thought bad equipment might be the problem so I bought him a better fridge and stove but nothing changed. I do have one modded trait on my sim, however I have this same trait on another sim and they do not have this issue. Help?
