Packs not appearing in-game
I have tried everything (restarting, uninstalling & reinstalling, trying to look for my collection and unable to find it) and more. However, my Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack and other games purchased the same time frame, are not uploading or showing once I start my game. I use the EA game on a PC. Can someone please assist me with this. Thank you [CM edit - descriptive title]
birthday cakes
my sims cant make any birthday cakes anymore. there isnt even a option to bake a cake. even if you learn them more backing skills. there is a oven , room enough to make.. but there is just no option to make one... even if i trow a party there is no dj and no catering who will join. looked in my other families and no where i can make cakes anymore, or buy cakes what happend and how can they celebrate there party now?
cant click on my sims??
hi so ive had this roblem since the new update where i cannot click on my sims and theyhave no autonomy even though its enabled. ive updated all my mods, moved my mods folder deleted the cache file it tells u to delete and repair the game, then doen the 50/50 method with my mods and still nothing. i have tried it on other saves too the only ''sim'' i can click on is the pets. im really confused please help. (i use mods and i am on pc windows)
Packs not installed
hello I bought sims4 pack lovestruck and Enchanted by Nature and i redeem the codes when i click add on i see them but they are not installed i tried to manage and somehow they are not there when i open the game i went to collection and writing in grey not installed and checked the file location i moved it into the same location of the game still not work i did a lot of repair ,clear cache and uninstalled and reinstalled and NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The update July 21st 2026
I have zero mods. I have zero CC in my game playing at this time and solely vanilla to see how the updates are working with a vanilla game and just using cheats if wanted to see how the game is working solely after the updates. My game crashes and freezes a lot with this update. Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this too. Would love to hear both positive and negative feedback from those playing vanilla. If I had mods installed at this time, I would be removing those mods and using the 50/50methods to see which one/e are the culprit. However, I am waiting patiently for the mods I use to be cleared. I have plenty of time to wait since this going to be an update that does what updates do. I'm curious to see this update works on a vanilla game. Thank you to the Sims team, the modders, CC Creators and other players sharing information on the update both good and bad.Mixed up families
Is anyone else having new-game issues where families are all mixed up at the start of the game? I only have four packs, but at the start of my games I would have thought the Sims families would start off in their traditional houses and towns with their spouses. At the start of my last new game: Mortimer Goth is in a tiny apartment in San Myshuno with a townie wife, their baby and an adopted baby. Ditto for Geoffery Landgraab. The exs are still in the big houses, but all the kids are with their dad, his new spouse and two babies. The Watson Family is also living in San Myshuno and some random townie has the family farm. Lily and Victor Feng are in a small cottage in rural Henford-on- Bagley (as if!) Layne Coffin is married to Katrina Caliente and living in Oasis Springs. etc. etc. Is it normal for characters to be all mixed up across packs at the start of a new game? I don't remember this being an issue until recently. It's not the same from game to game, but still a mix-up at the start. PC and only MCCC mod. Neighborhood stories not on.
Gallery Stuck In Infinite Connecting Screen
Very recently, I have been completely unable to get into the Gallery. When I try and enter, I get the "Connect Or Stay Offline?" queue, and when I hit connect, it just stays on the connect part, and doesn't actually connect. I was able to download something off the Gallery a few days ago (on July 2). I have done almost everything I can think of to fix this - restart the game, restart my laptop, shut my laptop off for a while, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but to no avail. Every tutorial I've found to help with this hasn't helped. What do I do?
Can't interact with computer
Hello people! my sims 4 computers aren't working right for the past 4 months. I wanted to ask how to fix it, basically i can't interact with them. If i click on a computer, my sim or any other sim it doesn't show anything. This has only happened after I installed some mods, but I have tried to unistall them, which did not help. Same thing happened when I "repaired" the game. I have waited for 2 months now and it still isn't working. It really budges me since my pregnancies and stuff aren't working anymore. Game mistakes art from gallery as custom content and because of this reason, will not upload builds to gallery, EVEN THOUGH game will claim it has been uploaded. If i only use art from the actual game itself building loads to gallery without any issues. One of my builds was chosen for a 'sparkd challenge', I was so excited, the next morning when I checked to see if anyone had liked it enough to download to their own library, it was gone! This build had A LOT of gallery art in it! Friends even tried finding that build on their own computers to no avail and of course hashtags and item names, were checked also. That was the first time this happened, it was early July. It happened twice more after that with different builds with gallery art. Now I have been using only the art in game and it doesn't occur. Could you please look into this matter? By the way I have some cool ideas for new Sims4 kits, I am unfortunately, not a 'maker' but have a BA in fine arts and great, original ideas. My sim has married the Sim Alex Moyer (who I think is a townie?) and I added her to my household and I have modified her in CAS a bit but nothing big just changed her last name to mine and removed a trait. Anyway, the issue is she isn't aging at all everyday the bar just resets back to 27 days remaining and its only happening for her nobody else, additionally she doesn't have the option to age up when clicking on a birthday cake despite all the other sims in the household having the option it. This wouldn't be a problem really I am just worried she may become immortal and not die ever from natural causes. The packs I have are some build kits, wedding stories, vampires (she definitely isn't a vampire), growing together, get to work, cottage living, lovestruck, high school years, cats and dogs, seasons, island living, horse ranch, life and death, businesses and hobbies, for rent. Sorry if that isn't relevant but just in case it may be related to one of those. I have checked though she isn't a vampire or anything.
