Origin automatically updates my The Sims 4 (to 1.19.xxxxxx i can't remember) then a lot of my mods not working i'm very happy with my old version i don't want to play the newest one i just want to play what working with my stuff delete mods or wait for mods creator fix it are not my choice please help me i just want to rollback what i have sorry for bad english thankyou26KViews1like6Comments

There was an issue with some integrated chipsets causing the poor little ones to appear in their own “unique” way. We have corrected the problem and pulled everyone back together. Most issues we have seen have twin births, but it can happen with a single birth as well. However, if you have the bug regardless of twins or a single births post all of your information. 1) Please post your DxDiag reports. We must have this information! How To: Option 1) Hit Windows Key + R to open the RUN box. Type in dxdiag and let it run (run in 64-bit if you have a 64-bit rig). Save the information as a text file to your desktop. Then cut/paste the information from the text file into a post here. Note: If you're running Win 8 or 8.1, the report is too big to put in one post. You'll have to break the report into sections. Please post between Spoiler tags. Option 2) Post your DxDiag report at pastebin.com instead of the thread with a link to the report. Saves a lot of room. They're all onboard/integrated. I have rarely seen (looking at I don't know how many DxDiag reports), an Intel Graphics Card that meets the following... VIDEO CARD: 128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0 or 2.0 Any Intel Graphics card with 128 MB VRAM (is an exception) 99.9% of them have 64 MB, 32 MB, or 0 MB of Virtual RAM aka VRAM. This is why the Intel Graphics Cards should have never ever been placed on the games Minimum System Reqs. They aren't meant for gaming and the same goes for Discreet, it's just a fancy way to say onboard/integrated. http://oi39.tinypic.com/33w9stj.jpg ANALYSIS!!! Basically, there are two issues involving Intel HD Graphics here. 1) Any Laptop or Desktop Intel card that is below the Min Syst Reqs of 128 MB of Video RAM. 2) Any Laptop that had dual graphics mix of Intel HD Graphics and either AMD/NVIDIA dedicated cards. In all these cases, (like always) the Intel integrated card will always be the default under Display Devices on the DxDiag Report. If there is a dedicated card it will list under System Devices. Users will have to manually assign their dedicated card via AMD Catalyst Control Center or NVIDIA Control Panel depending on the card. See - Sims 4 and Switchable Graphics: How to (Nvidia & AMD) However, depending on the Intel card they have in combo with the dedicated the game may still not recognize their dedicated card and default to the Intel. I tried this on my gaming laptop (a high end machine), and had some weird things happen. I enabled then relaunched the game. My sim had guest coming over that would come inside the house, turn around to ring the bell/knock on the door. Also, my game got a lot darker. I saved my game and disabled laptop mode. Relaunched the game and everything was back to normal. Skin Details Not Working After Recent Update
Hi, I recently updated my Sims 4 game and the skin details don't appear to be working. When I try to change the skin details of a pre-made sim from the gallery with custom content (or any new sim randomized in CAS), the changes only save to the everyday outfit, but for the other outfits (formal, athletic, sleep, etc.), the skin details with custom content are not saved. I discovered that I could make the same skin detail adjustments for each outfit category, but that's just tedious. This hasn't happened to me before, and I think it's due to the latest patch. If anyone has experienced this same issue or can bring insight into the situation, your help will be greatly appreciated.15KViews1like30Comments
I need to find my ghost
I've accidentally drowned a little girl sim, in a temple in Selvadoria. It had a maze of swimming pools, and she was rushing to help her mother, who was on fire, but was already tired so drowned in the maze. My family then left since the game glitched, and now the temple has reset. I know you can summon the ghosts from their grave, but her grave has vanished and i need to give her the ambrosia i made. Catching Frogs - Odd Jobs Trouble
My Sim accepted an odd job for catching frogs for research. The directions told me to take my sim to Mua Pel'am, go to the waterfall, and catch frogs. There were no skill requirements. Seemed pretty easy, so I accepted. I take my sim to the waterfall, select the option to "attract frogs" and started trying to catch them. It took me ALL day and my sim did not catch a SINGLE frog. And of course I get a notice for a CRITICAL FAILURE and telling me if my sim DID go to the waterfall for the job she agreed to, she wouldn't have had such a failure. :s Did I encounter a glitch or does my sim just have bad luck? I'll try to see if I can re-create this "problem" and see if I have the same result. I was able to complete a different odd job without any trouble before this one.14KViews1like3Comments
Patch affects groups
After the patch some Sims are excluded from my groups - I know it exactly because I had 2 brothers in a fitness group and now one isn't a member any more though he hasn't aged. Also the groups points have fallen to zero, but don't be afraid: they come back after the first group actions. Scare Seeker Lot Challenge issue
Hi, regarding the Reaper Rewards. I have a problem with applying the Scare Seeker Lot challenge to my lot as it does not show in the list. I claimed it last week, it shows claimed on the Rewards screen but still is not in my lot traits list to apply. I have 42 lot traits in my list yet the Scare Seeker trait is missing. My game is on PC, Win 10. I do not use mods. I have read a reply that this has happened to another person. Please respond if you have encountered this and were able to fix. Reaper Rewards: plant flowers tasks not completing--SOLVED
What do we do if the quest task won't clear? I've completed all my goals except for the "Plant Lily" and "Plant Snapdragon" ones, which won't go away--do we have to get them to flower and then pick them before they'll be marked as completed? I have removed my mods and cleared my cache files, so it doesn't seem to be a mod problem. EDIT: I got this to work after I went into Steam and verified my files twice--once to see that over 40 had failed and the second time fixed it. Sims 4 still broken after update 2024-07-23
Hello So even if there are 2 updates that has come out after july 23rd my game is still broken, I need to save almost every 2-3 minutes because suddenly only in-game interactions work - The bars at the right don't work, my sims work assignment don't work (I had a sim on the influencer careed and I made the work assignment 4 times in a row and it never updated - haven't tried it again but it was a frustration. When the interactions stop working I tried go inte build mode but I couldn't build anything and I couldn't change back to playmode - the only option is to terminate the game the hard way and start over. Are there any plans to fix the broken game? Because it is essentially unplayable - at least for enjoying the game - being paranoid and save every interaction because you know it will break at any moment isn't okey - sure we have had crash issues before but at least that is not this freakvent - I have played for about 30 minutes and I've had the interactions stop working 3-4 times so I had to redo most of the game several times. Right now I have a sim (child) which is suppose to age up - a bit scared I must admit :) I do have mods but I did uninstall them to see if the issue was fixed and it was not... and I have read multiple people have the same issue without mods ever installed. Can't Request Table DineOut
So after the update anytime that my sims go on a date to any restaurant every time you request a table the host doesn't take you to the table anymore and the sims are all just standing there doing nothing. Reaper's Rewards Event Blank
I began the Reaper's Rewards Event today and I did several of the quests. I exited out of the save and when I opened it again, now there is no quests at all. I still see the reaper's event and both tabs are on "A Call Away" and "Assistant to the Grim Reaper" but there are no quests underneath. I tried closing out the game and re-opening, opening a different household, and starting a new save but it still is blank. I can't continue on with any quests. Hello. Ever since the Reaper's Rewards event first launched, they have not shown up correctly. The UI is there but no text visible. The info window looks normal, it's just the quests that are not showing up. Grim Reaper Event Issue
In this ongoing grim event there is a task to read the newsletter from ambrosia society. My sim received it in mail but couldn't red it, the whole letter just disappeared from my inventory. This is frustrating because I cant get rest of the available rewards without completing this task. Is anyone else having the same issue? Just got the rewards event, and started playing and I already have issues. It says to plant snapdragon and lily and I have tried multiple times, inside and outside and the reward does not register. I hate it. I cannot get it to work. Even if I think my sim is successfully interrogating someone the task never clears and I always get the failed responsibility message. How vital is the chair to quests? I refuse to use it any more unless it will mean I can't complete a quest at some point.
