Sim can't stop carrying cat
Never had this issue before, my Sim will pick up her cat and then just... refuse to put it down, as shown in the screenshot, she's not holding the cat the normal way either. She keeps gesturing that there's something blocking her path. She will still do the things I tell her, but after complaining for a good amount of time and nothing makes the cat leave her hand. When I restart my game she does release the cat from her eternal grip, but within minutes she has the cat back in her arms and can't seem to put the cat down. Is this a known bug, is there something I can do other than repeatedly restarting my game whenever she picks up the cat?
Remove Fear from Townie/NPC?
I have the issue that a lot of NPCs in Sulani have Fear of Swimming or Fear of Darkness. There are Cheats to remove fears from your played sim. But how can i remove a fear from an NPC aka Townie? I tried to move this Townie to an empty lot to make him playable, removed the fear and moved him out afterwards which removed the fears at least for a short time until he gets it again (which happens in Sulani very soon). But this is not only a complicated way, it also has the downside, that the Townie loses his job. Is there an easier way to remove fears from unplayed sims?Pregnancy Bug Still Buggin’
Even after updating the game on 7/16 to fix the pregnancy issue and even with repairing the game when the Try for Baby and Pregnancy test were still missing, the pregnancy state is still not working. The “fix” didn’t seemingly fix the issue. Yes, I tried without mods. Yes, the game is up to date. The issue still persists.Offline bad reading sims 4 consol
Is it just me but since the new update this week that was supposed to fix pregnancy in game and the update that released the new week's reward event my game keeps telling me I'm offline but I'm not. My internet is on and connected, my ps4 is upto date and so is my game but every time I try to get my rewards it tells me I'm offline. Anyone else with this problem? Any suggestions?
Gnomes are taking over my garden
It is daylight, and gnomes are taking over my garden, blessing my plants, and leaving seed packets. My sim has already collected at least 40 or more seed packets and the dang gnomes just keep appearing, blessing my garden, and leaving MORE seed packets. I had to pause the game and collect all of the seeds. I sold them. There was literally 48,000 simoleons worth of seeds, and they are still coming.
Error code 13 and other mysteries...
Hi all, So I have installed the fairies (bought and paid for). During installation it said that I didn't own the digital content and did I want to continue to download or pause (why would it try to download something I didn't own?) So not knowing what it was talking about, I paused and didn't give it another thought. I went back to my game. In the twelve hours since, it will not save (error code 13 - any ideas, folks?) I am currently running a repair for the second time since I installed the new extension pack. I've tried taking some old items out of my library. The mysterious paused download has disappeared. I have no CC or mods, I use the occasional cheat code and they have never caused a problem before. Any ideas, folks?
Motives Decay Too Fast After 'Enchanted by Nature'
I'm not sure this issue is related to 'Enchanted by Nature' EP, but after installing it I noticed that 'bladder', 'hunger', 'energy' and 'hygiene' are dropping too fast. My sims cannot do anything because all the time they need to eat and to use the bathroom, and soon they need to sleep. It was always a challenge to balance dealing with the sims' motives and their activities, but now it is almost unplayable.
Help: Custom skin tones not following through to live mode
Today I opened my game to find my sims’ skin tones darker than usual and other’s lighter than usual. After a very long time of trying to fix this, I realised that, in CAS, their skin tones were correct (for example, their skin tone is a brightened version of one of the regular sims 4 skin tone swatches) but, when I go into live mode, the sim is darker because the game just returned their skin tone to the original swatch colour (without any brightness variation). This has never happened to me before and I don’t believe it’s caused by broken mods/cc because when I run the game with an empty mods folder, the issue is still present. Also, none of my sims have tattoos/custom tattoos which I’ve heard has been causing issues lately. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!Holiday stuck on repeat
In my most recent save, something happened and now it’s repeating the last holiday (my creation - Gnome Patrick Fools) anytime there is a new holiday on the calendar. This started when I downloaded the new expansion pack. I tested it by creating a new holiday to start on an empty day and sure enough, Gnome Patrick Fools again. I have tried ending it early, playing it all the way through, waiting for the year to come around again and deleting it entirely etc etc. Nothing has worked. The specified holiday activities are also stuck on in the action menus - regardless of whether there is a holiday scheduled or not. Holidays work as expected in a new test save but I don’t want to forsake my save!! I do not use any mods.Natures Calling Quest- Playing nature sounds from any radio doesn't work.
I'm having this issue with the nature calling quest. I can't listen to, or even just turn on to play on ANY radios or stereos the nature sounds. It's preventing me completing the quest I'm on currently because I have to listen to that and sleep. I have run ALL updates, run a repair, tried several different types of stereos, at several different locations, on old and brand new game files. I even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall the entire game. That made it to where I could at least turn music on, but I cannot get the nature sounds to play at all. Please Help!Sims Disappearing when placing household
Yesterday, I merged 2 sims from the gallery into a new CAS household as well as created one brand new character. After making substantial edits to all three, I selected the checkmark to note I was finished and then proceeded to add them to a household (with one Sim currently present). I merged the households, and when the lot loaded, all four characters were present, but the only ones that showed as part of the household were the original sim on the lot, and the newly created Sim. Neither Sim that had been merged from the gallery showed up as selectable, and when they walked off the lot, they were never to be seen again. I think they were permanently deleted from the game. They are not found in manage households, and they did not show up in the relationship panel after having conversations with the active Sim. Please advise if there is a way to find these Sims again, they took some time to perfect and I'm sad that I've lost them.(BUG) Root cause interaction not completing - new career issue
Hi everyone, i am having an issue with the new pack and a new career gameplay. Whenever i try to tell the client their root cause, the interaction takes a very long time to complete. The client keeps doing everything else but talking with my sim. The interaction often gets cancelled automatically, and i have to do it again and again. Meanwihile the workday time is still running, which makes it hard to finish all the tasks on time. This happed with all five clients i have had so far in this career. Its really frustrating and makes the career not enjoyable. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any tips or fixes? Thank you!!
Toilet on fire...trophy?!
Can someone please enlighten me on where this trophy, or whatever it is, is from? I was playing around with the SimRay and received...this. I really enjoy getting things that can't be duplicated in build mode, but usually I can figure out what it's from?! Golden toilet on fire! 🤣
