My Ghost has become floating teeth
My sim who is a ghost just completed his unfinished business and got the burning soul trait. When that happened he become completely invisible except for his teeth. To interact with him I have to click on the teeth. I thought it I reloaded it would fix it but it didn’t. I do have MCCC installed right now. I couldn’t find this when I searched the forums but I apologize if it’s already been discussed and I didn’t see it
Week 6 Social Event Goal
This isn't a question, just an observation. When I was at the end of the event and had to Host a Social Event with goals and rewards, I used the Calendar to plan it. My twin's birthday was coming up, and I figured that would do the trick. It did not. Come to find out you have to read the fine print on how to host the event. It will ONLY work if you use your phone > Social App > Plan a Social Event. It was only then that it counted towards the Grim Reaper's goal. I'm not sure who needed to read this, but here it is. Can a Hamster Kill the Grim Reaper?
I have a question about Life & Death. I don't own it yet. I've made up my mind to buy it, but I haven't decided when. Now, I'm currently playing a legacy challenge. My current generation is pretty straightforward, but I'm concerned about her grandchild (not born yet, but let's call the kid Robin). Here are a few of Robin's generational objectives: Reach the top of the Reaper career Die of Rabid Rodent Fever Be Reborn 👶 If someone owns both the My First Pet and Life & Death packs, is this achievable? I heard that reaching the top of the Reaper career causes the sim to turn into the Grim Reaper and become immortal. Does this mean that Robin can't be attacked and killed by an angry rat and be reborn as someone with a weird vendetta against tiny pets? 🐀 I hope someone can shed light on this important topic.
Life and Death Bucket List Photograph the World
In my Sim's Bucket list is "I want to photograph the world." I got my Sim to level 5 photography, the max level; and then went to different worlds and events to take pictures. I'm not getting any credit for the pictures. Anyone know what I'm missing please?
Build buy mode freezes/becomes unresponsive sporadically.
I get it; mods will affect your gameplay but it doesn’t explain why it does this sporadically. I’ve tested this with various methods, including, Closing BB in a category that has the least amount of items so the load up time is shorter. (ie closing BB while in appliances vs decorations) Opening BB while underground. Building directly from world screen. But to no avail. Sometimes it speed loads in and other times it takes about a minute and will become unresponsive if you click anywhere on the screen. It will eventually respond, but what gives? The only trend that is consistent is if it’s a lot with festivals. Anyone else?
Lady ravendancer goth tarot cards not working
If any sim other than one who collected the cards/assembled the deck tries to use the special raven dancer cards none of the tarot-related interactions like daily reading are accessible even if they received the deck as a gift or heirloom. the individual cards also aren't placeable objects and cant be moved between sims inventories.
Ultra speed not working as it should
Ultra speed 3 is not working as it should, When I activate speed 3 in the game it simply returns to speed 2 after a certain time, and it has nothing to do with Sims sleeping and I don't have any game expansions or mods. This happens when all the Sims are sleeping too, he suddenly stops having speed 3 and rarely goes back to 3 but soon goes back to 2, and this is annoying. I don't know what's going on, but I've had The Sims 4 for years and this has always happened to me, and I've stopped playing countless times because of it and I don't know if it's my PC or not.I wanted to know if there is any mod or a complaint to EA because I don't know what else to do... I saw several people from some forums reporting but never really solving my problem, sometimes people didn't even know they had this bug.
Never Ending Spice Market Festival
Im on PS4 Living in san myshuno in the culpepper apartments and the spice market has been going on non stop, it’s over lapping the spice festival decor with the regular park decor , my food stands are closed , barely any sims walk in the park because it’s all cluttered it feels like a ghost town and i’m noticing it’s glitching my time, my sim goes to work for 9 am and it won’t send her to work until 11 am, is there a fix for this
Infinite Loading Screen
So, I'm getting the infinite loading screen glitch and can't go to other lots. My game is also a lot laggier than it used to be, especially when loading up regular cooking from the fridge (gourmet cooking was fine though). I had not updated since before Lovestruck released because I usually wait for the game to be stable before I update (it's not been stable all summer). I updated to play the Reaper's Rewards Event, and was able to at least get through the event and unlock all the rewards on my account, but I couldn't even save when I finished it because of the loading screen glitch. So I'm gonna have to go back into my legacy family save later and just cheat the rewards. I hope the game gets fixed up soon. Now I can't even just play offline on a stable update since I decided to play the event. I can't continue playing at all right now. Unless I decided to just never leave my home lot, and that's not my play style.Is there a way I can store my university diploma in a chest or packing crate?
So i’m planning on passing all the important stuff to the next generations. Like all of the things the previous sims got from their careers or events and also school. I have the packing crate mod so i can put stuff from the household inventory into that and take it to the next house but the university diploma can’t be put in it because it can just go into your inventory. but the thing is i want to be able to put the diploma in a chest or some sort of storage with the other things that can’t be put into a crate and just bring that whole thing with me without having a bunch of things all over the next sims inventory. the chest lets me put in all of my stuff EXCEPT for the diploma. is there a better way i can pass it on or put it in storage?Game issues. Started yesterday but I can't use the stairs in build mode (no script mod error shows up) and I'm also not able to go back into play mode, won't save and freezes . I've moved mods, repaired the game. But nothing helps. Wondering if there are similar issues and Its EA? EDIT: only happens with one lot so far. Also not really tech-savy. Hoping for a miracle 😅
Camera Controls not Working the Same
I'm not sure if this was part of the most recent update or not, since i didn't see anything about it in the update notes. For reference: I use a trackpad, and use the sims 4 camera (any other way is just very difficult for me to grasp, i've tried). Before, when i wanted to rotate my camera angle on an x-axis (so up/down) i would click the right-click button, and scroll to rotate on my trackpad. Now, when i right-click it rotates the camera angle on a y-axis (so left-right). In fact, at this point i don't even know how to rotate the camera on an x-axis because nothing is working. But more than that, I would like to figure out how to get the controls to work the way they used to. If anyone knows HOW to fix this or has even heard of this problem before (i've tried looking online but haven't had much luck so i'm making my own post here) i'd be so grateful for ANY help!! If I should be posting this in a different forum also pls let me know!! Also, if this actually IS part of the update and is intentional i'd love to know that too. I'll be so gutted if that's the case as i don't see a reason for it, but it would be nice to know if this is a problem that even has a solution lol. I'd die for the sims 4 camera/trackpad combo, i wanna keep hope alive :( (i have no mods also)Can’t complete life and death tarot collection
Since I downloaded the pack I haven’t been able to use intuition the cemetery headstones. If I leave the active lot use intuition pops up but as soon as my sim make it to the headstone they cannot reach it. I’ve removed the fence, debugged my sim and the head stone, and restarted the game and nothing has worked. I’ve also updated all my mods and removed any broken or outdated cc. has anyone else had this issue??
