Crashes
Sorry but I can't play the holiday event. I tried. The game crashes everytime I try to save my progress. I also didn't get to play the last event because of the crashes and there were items in that event as well as this one that i really wanted but couldn't save my progress to even get the rewards. Sometimes I feel like at this point you should just gift us these items instead of making us play an event in order to get the items knowing how messed up this game is especially with the crashes. So many of us had been missing out on so many items over the months because of not being able to play the events due to the crashes or the bugs alone. Also I feel like you should have the game auto save like every 3 to 5 minutes so if the game crashes we'll still be able to keep our progress. We also wont have to be afraid to save the game because of the crashes. Just saying.
Gallery family’s missing
Sorry if this has already been solved I can’t find my original post and I really want to fix it because it’s been making avoid playing the sims😭. But ever since the update all of the families I’ve saved into my gallery are all gone with just the base game families remaining. I’m not sure what’s wrong since all the homes I’ve made are still there just my families from the gallery are missing and all my saved games have all remained the same it’s just my gallery??Disappearing pictures and blank funeral photos
Pictures that I take with cameras/phones, always disappear whenever I save my game before getting off, and log in the next day the pictures are all blacked out. Also for funeral pictures, I select a sim and then the frame goes blank. Before it was working fine but now everything is disappearing.
Xbox.career.reaper Broken.
The option to go to work is now limited to just sending your sim to work. There's not even a menu that pops up anymore. Therefore making a certain task completely impossible. I've tried following all the online advice and nothing works. I think I may have figured it out however. I think it has to do with multiple Sims and a household. More than one to be specific. I think it may work if you started the career or the first time with a single household member and had that household number be the only household member. Not going to do all the testing of that now. It was fine before the update.
Game looks dull and colors have changed
I FIXED IT!! had to go to manage game and turn off auto HDR was on my Xbox last night and the colors looked fine. I get on today and it’s so grey and dull. I reset my tv setting to be normal but the sims game just looks so bad. My Xbox Home Screen looks normal. The pictures aren’t doing it justice because the phone camera makes it look brighter. When I screen shot it on captures it shows up just like it should look. The needs bars are almost orange and light green
Won’t let me play at all and all saves are gone
when I first click on the game it acts like I’ve never played before, all saves are gone and it gives me a step by step when I need to make a new save. When I try make a new save starting with the household as soon as I click the tick to continue the game freezes then kicks me out. So I can’t enter any worlds, don’t have any of my old saves, can’t make a new game and the game just doesn’t work anymore. someone please help, what is the issue and how can I fix it.Library saves deleted
A few weeks ago I tried to save something to the gallery and an error came up that said "library storage full" so I deleted one of my gallery saves so there would be space. When I tried to save it now I had space, it came up with another error saying "a gallery error came up", this normally happens so I just didn't save it thinking nothing of it. A few days passed without playing the sims/going on the gallery and yesterday I went on and tried to look at my gallery. Everything is gone apart from the system gallery such as townies and houses. Is there a fix for this where I get my gallery back? Or is everything just gone sadly. I had lots of unfinished sims and houses from the gallery and would be a shame if it was all gone.loading into older saves when hitting play from the main screen
the game for whatever reason recently has been picking a random save file to load into instead of the most recent, so when you hit play to continue what you've been doing the last time you were on you end up like going back in time have to start the game again and go in from loading a save file then load back into the household to get back on track. My sims 4 on Xbox one was loading and the game went to resize and ea agreement popped up. Reloaded game and I have played all of the event for the reward and now they are all missing but the first event that was given to up. I was setting up for the new event when this happened. I upset with all of the bugs on consoles. Please help I want all of my reward back that I have earned.Loading screen that claims to adjust the graphics
So the loading screen that claims to adjust the graphics on console pops up during gameplay every time it pops up the graphics and items in game becomes worse saving, traveling, and going into cas can cause this issue as well this been happening to me every since business and hobbies came out please fix this issue I tried everything that I possibly can and nothing works sending me to other sites is no good either it just shows me I’m not alone and that the issue for those who are going through this hasn’t gotten resolved sadlyMy sims are walking into the distance and escaping my clutches
When my sims autonomously needed to use the bathroom they would just walk into the distance and leave the map??? Are they escaping the sims 4 and attaining free will? This happened to my grandma and dad sim so idk what the issue is… going to manage worlds and coming back seemed to work. Also my sims are blurred when not naked? And that portrait from life and death just showed like a really stretched out face of my babysitter for some reason… like…Game is unplayable yet again on CONSOLE
I sincerely cannot play my game anymore. Aspirations dont complete. I can’t invite ANY sims to ANY place even those in my own household. My sims are randomly mean to each other even though they have amazing compatibility and high friendship and love between them. I have spent money on packs and it seems like the more i buy the more broken this game is. And the lack of care to console players is apparent. if anyone can help that’d be appreciated.Console and newest 2025 update
I have an Xbox I believe it's a one x or s? It doesn't have a disc slot I know that much. I decided to update my game after it wouldn't let me play it without the update. Then I get news that this new update is broken and will corrupt save files. What do I do? I press the cancell all button to make absolutely sure the update does not continue in my cue. YOU'D THINK that this just cancells every UPDATE in the cue BUT NO. It completely uninstalled my game and all of my packs for some reason. Now I'm stuck redownloading the game and all of my packs for hours and most likely will be forced to update my game either way. Thanks Xbox you really made a good decision with that one. Anyways, does anyone else have this issue? Maybe any reports on whether or not console saves have been corrupted yet? This seems much more common and talked about with PC players than anything.
