Sim just puts food in inventory and walks away
I have one sim in my family that will walk up to the plate take a serving or the whole plate and walk away, put it in his inventory and then will complain that he’s starving and won’t eat the food he’s placed in his inventory. He always does it when I am focused on another sim so I never notice until he’s uncomfortable and complaining he’s hungry, and by then all the food is spoiled. He’s a child so I’ll usually go into his inventory to get him to do his homework and there will be like 5 plates of spoiled food. Hes obviously eating because he’s not always starving, but it keeps happening so I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix itMy sims are walking into the distance and escaping my clutches
When my sims autonomously needed to use the bathroom they would just walk into the distance and leave the map??? Are they escaping the sims 4 and attaining free will? This happened to my grandma and dad sim so idk what the issue is… going to manage worlds and coming back seemed to work. Also my sims are blurred when not naked? And that portrait from life and death just showed like a really stretched out face of my babysitter for some reason… like…Game is unplayable yet again on CONSOLE
I sincerely cannot play my game anymore. Aspirations dont complete. I can’t invite ANY sims to ANY place even those in my own household. My sims are randomly mean to each other even though they have amazing compatibility and high friendship and love between them. I have spent money on packs and it seems like the more i buy the more broken this game is. And the lack of care to console players is apparent. if anyone can help that’d be appreciated.Console and newest 2025 update
I have an Xbox I believe it's a one x or s? It doesn't have a disc slot I know that much. I decided to update my game after it wouldn't let me play it without the update. Then I get news that this new update is broken and will corrupt save files. What do I do? I press the cancell all button to make absolutely sure the update does not continue in my cue. YOU'D THINK that this just cancells every UPDATE in the cue BUT NO. It completely uninstalled my game and all of my packs for some reason. Now I'm stuck redownloading the game and all of my packs for hours and most likely will be forced to update my game either way. Thanks Xbox you really made a good decision with that one. Anyways, does anyone else have this issue? Maybe any reports on whether or not console saves have been corrupted yet? This seems much more common and talked about with PC players than anything.Game Break after entering CAS
I’d like to start this off with that I play on Xbox. I feel like I won’t be able to properly explain what’s going on but any time I enter CAS from live mode my game starts freaking out. I can’t toggle cursor mode so I can’t actually click anything, if I try to enter the pause menu it pops up but doesn’t actually pause the game (normally background behind the menu potions darkens and it’s not doing that. I can’t save, can’t exit CAS unless I toggle cursor like 6 times and move to the exit CAS. Now once I am finally able to exit CAS the pause menu is still broken. Sometimes when I had this issue from past updates, entering manage worlds would fix it but that just makes the screen go black (world speed and everything else is still there but everything else is black.) I did have cas.fulleditmode active and tried to enter without it active after I had to fully quit my game and it was still an issue. not sure if any of that made sense but if anyone else is having this issue PLEASE tell me how to fix it :)How to delete off lot objects?
I was exploring how right clicking objects can work and set my sim's mailbox as her head. I accidentally clicked the sidewalk in front of her house and the mailbox placed there and now I can't delete it. I tried various ways of getting rid of it and ended up with a second huge mailbox right next to it. How can I get rid of them??Can I transfer my save file from ps4 to pc?
ive been playing on legacy challenge for months now and im on gen4 and it's probably the most effort ive ever put in a family lol. Problem is that im getting rid of my ps4 (that's what I used to play the legacy challenge) and buying a gaming pc. So can I like transfer my save file to my pc? (Btw I saw some ppl suggesting that I upload my Sims on the gallery and download them from there and id really like to avoid that option if possible) and IGame Play Issue: Unable to get house’s back (that I built)
Hello, recently I got a new wifi (an upgrade) afterwards I launched the Sims 4 and realized it wasn’t working. At the time I didn’t realize it was because I hadn’t connected the wifi to the console, however now that I have when I launch the sims it only kept data from a couple of my worlds and deleted my houses that I’ve built but the weird thing is there are only a couple of worlds that have deleted my house data. And it’s not just base game worlds that kept their data, there are other worlds that I have bought (via packs) and they have houses I’ve built still in them. I have some houses that i downloaded and are in my library but mostly the ones that have gone missing were never saved. Just a side note: All the family’s are fine it’s just the houses. Please if anyone has ever heard of this or has had it happen to them, it would be so helpful to hear what you did to get them back. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.Wedding event panel wont go away.. sims can’t get married, only elope.
In my current save my sim was trying to marry the grim reaper (done before w no issues), got thru everything fine and then when it was time for the event to start, Grim wouldn’t show up. Inviting him over to the lot wouldn’t work, I couldn’t cancel the event (it would ask if i’m sure I want to cancel and i hit yes, and nothing changes). at this point I assume ‘okay ill just make them get married again after this runs out on its own’. Grim wouldn’t come to my house until after the wedding was suppose to be over, and then I couldn’t plan a wedding because it kept saying there was already an event happening, but eloping was the only thing that worked. i’ve played probably 20 sim days since, and the event panel is still there. when i restart the game it still says the wedding is happening, i cant make it go away. i cant plan any other event, and sometimes it wont let me travel because of the event. please help:(
gallery glitch
This is the second time that is has happened to me the first creator I unfollowed and it has happened again. When I go to look at what sims they have and it says that they don’t have any sims. I have been on their gallery before and they have definitely have had sims. I don’t know if this is a glitch on the gallery or the person have deleted their profile. I play the game on ps
High school years
I am on ps5, and the prom for high school years sometimes glitches and ends early, reseting the venue. Then, the after prom event completely glitches going to a black screen and never happens, the screen will cut back to my sim outside of the prom venue, or I have to close my game and reopen it.
