I recently started playing this game and found that many skins can only be obtained through trading, and it's very difficult to get parts without action packs. EA, Just a thought for equipment in the future as you have shown weapon systems with variable ammunition types. Carl Guztov 84mm recoilless rifle for the engineer. The less visible variable for Anti Tank mid flight with it not being rocket propelled, with a clear flash at shot point. However, it can have: penetration for AT, air burst for anti personnel or anti air if set right, anti structure with thermoberic capacity, high explosive for all around use. All of which are similar ammo types used in the game, but the visual and functional use for this would require just as much thought for what the team or squad needs without over powering what it brings. I can't even play at all, I'm on Battlefield 1 and it says "You have lost connection to the EA servers". And I can't even load into a server without having that issue, and if I do get into a game it lasts 3 minutes before kicking me out. I'm using ethernet with 400 mbps down and 360 mbps up. This is not an issue with my ISP, I can play every other game just fine, but the moment it comes to a Battlefield game it will NOT let me play. Hi,Allow me to introduce myself. My name is FranX, my game ID is Sorryikuuu. I’m a loyal gamer from China. I have been playing this game for thousands of hours. I also spent a lot of time helping Chinese community organizations called “BFEAC” and “BFBan” ban hundreds of cheaters. But over the last few months, I have noticed this player called [removed]. I believe many players know about this loser because he uses all kinds of unfair ways to play BF1, including cheating, swearing, and abusing bugs. Thanks to him, I also noticed some terrible bugs that are slowly killing this game, and I really hope EA can fix this, please!!!!! First bug: flat-firing AA rocket. The AA rocket has a range of 250m and an explosion radius of 50m, dealing 40~50 damage (including to elite soldiers and cavalry). Sometimes the bullets can even pass through buildings. The damage from this weapon does not show a damage source, making the AA rocket user extremely hard to locate. The AA rocket bullet has very slight drop, meaning the user can perform over-the-horizon strikes over hillsides. I found this bug on the default official server B2B (Back to Basics, an Operations server where automatic/semi-automatic weapons, air and land vehicles are banned; only standard iron-sight single-action rifles are allowed). Adoreys can easily get 200+ kills per match. He just places an ammo crate, redeploys as Assault, then fires at objectives from a distance of 250m. Based on the AA rocket stats I mentioned above, this weapon has a massive explosion radius and high damage. They can literally perform beyond-visual-range strikes. You can do nothing on a no-vehicle, iron-sight rifle only Operations server but get killed. I have attached some screenshots so you can see how terrible this player’s K/D ratio is. The second bug: deploying heavy bomber on B2B servers where vehicles are banned. I don’t know how he managed to do this. He even posted tutorials on another platform teaching others how to deploy vehicles on B2B servers. I will attach the video links and his combat result screenshots at the end as well. He can easily kill 200+ kills and only die 1 or 2 times per match, because most B2B players are newcomers. They don’t even know how to unlock the AA rocket, and there are no stationary AA guns or pom-pom guns available because all vehicles are banned. In the end, I really love the Battlefield series, and I think BF1 is more than a game—it’s the best BF in my heart. I truly care about the experience of all players. I switch to the noob’s side to balance the game and help new players learn and enjoy it. That’s why I spent countless hours gathering evidence against cheaters and helping ban hundreds of them. It makes me really sad to see new and regular players getting killed like this. I can sacrifice my time to ban cheaters, but there’s nothing I can do about game-breaking bugs. Hello everyone. I downloaded Battlefield 1 from Steam. I played it years ago. I downloaded it again now. I launch the game from Steam. EA says the game is loading. Then it verifies the game through Steam. After verification is complete, nothing happens. Please give me some advice. I’ve been trying for weeks and can’t get it to work. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: I verified the game myself. I uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App. I tried running it as an administrator. I tried entering the DX11 code. Battlefield 1 won't launch (Steam version) I'll briefly describe what's happening. When I launch a game through Steam, everything is normal at first: the launcher prepares the game, the anti-cheat software loads, but after the anti-cheat software loads, the game doesn't launch. Battlefield 1: Is there any way to bind separate keys for jump and vault? It’s really annoying when I’m trying to stay behind cover by crouching and peeking back out, and then my character suddenly vaults over the obstacle in front of me, even when I’m not pressing W while hitting Space. After switching to windows 11 battlefield 3 won't launch. I tried reinstalling the game and changing stuff in the files with some fix tutorials and still nothing. Any tips? The game won't launch through steam, desktop icon, ea launcher or battlelog. In the broswer on the battlelog site it says this communicate (photo) and continue button kind of restarts the whole process and shows it again with nothing going on. I'm writing this discussion because of what the title says. I probably would get mad at EA because of their tendency to kill servers every year. Well, you already screwed up my BF3 platinum in 2024 (thank you), and now, the announcement of sunsetting the remaining console versions of Battlefield Hardline is, well, STUPID in all caps. First of all, why is ONLY THIS SPECIFIC GAME? And Battlefield 4 that's also on PS4 and Xbox One will still remain? Pfft. It's because it's main developer, Visceral Games no longer exists since 2017? It's because of "low player base"? ("low player base" is a stupid cheap excuse to shut down a server) or because you're forcing us to play Battlefield 6? You already demised BF Hardline on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2024, and now you're killing the remaining of the versions that, FOR YOUR INFORMATION, PS4 and Xbox One are still active consoles. Just because like Sony stopped offering PS Plus titles on PS4 or is slowly abandoning it doesn't mean you have to take that choice. Also, why making on March 17 a "11 YEARS" anniversary post, and then 5 days later "unfortunately we're shutting down the servers on June 22" NO. AND JUST NO. That's stupidity at it's peak. At this point, just make the servers P2P, so y'all company saves a million dollars on pulling out the cable of the servers. Despite it's one of the most divisive games on the series, it still has players dedicated to it. And look! I don't have a PS4 but I planned to purchase BF Hardline when I had one! But probably at the time I'm getting it the servers will be dead on their grave! Now also look at your forums. At least give a solution to your users. Some players have issues logging into the game on PS4/Xbox One. And well, seems a solution probably will come, or maybe not. Who knows. Reconsider, EA. I cannot get a good re-installation of BF4. I've tried to sanitize my machine as best I can before re-installing but I still have the same problem of the 'preparing game' window showing up in an endless loop but not actually starting BF4. If I launch through Battlelog on a web browser it fails to load and the EA says 'game already running' or some %#^ thing... A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away the game crashed with an error that said a port is closed. A suggested solution said to run as admin but that is when the game failed to even load. I uninstalled the EA App and BF4 and ran Crap Cleaner. I also deleted some file folders in program files and Users/Appdata. Also tried to repair BF4 and the App through the App, including clearing the cache in the 'HELP' drop-down menu. I also made sure EA Background Service was ended through the task manager before uninstalling. I tried this whole process a couple times but am still getting the same result with both the EA App and via Battlelog in Google Chrome: a preparing window and progress bar opens up, then goes away, then opens up, goes away, opens up, etc. I have to restart at this time to stop the loop. My last harddrive cleanup I even recklessly went into the registry and deleted anything referencing BF4 or the EA App. Any thoughts? A portion of dxdiag is below and I think I have some of the EA App logs, if that would help. I'm on pc My mouse isn't working in multiplayer, it can only move up and down. In the campaign and the intro everything work correctly. In the menus too. Only buging in multiplayer. No i don't have a controller plugged in Yes my mouse is in perfect condition as it work as attended in campaign and any other game. It's a BF1 multiplayer issues. Please help me I'm gonna hang myself soon. 2h in and nothing work. What I already tried : verifying files via steam, uninstalling reinstalling, deleting cache and temporary files for BF1 in my computer documents files. I played four matches and all four times I got the infamous blue screen (now black). This only happens after playing for a while.
