I know this might sound off to many, but there are a lot of players who play only offline and like using only legacy defending. It was great in FIFA 21, 22, and 23 until it was completely ruined in EA FC 24 and 25. What are the issues? [1] Second-man press: This is so bad and off. Usually, the second man is supposed to run from where he is straight to the attacker to press. The second-man press makes weird runs that offers no press. This press usually occurs in a way that betrays sound tactical judgement, and this is happens in a way that is HIGHLY detrimental to defending. Many times, they miss the attacker or just harmlessly escort the attacker. They are just usually useless. [2] Non-existent tackling, physicality or aggression when close to attacker: This wasn't much of an headache in FIFA 21, 22 and 23. Currently, even when the second man or your selected defender is so close to attacker. They do almost nothing to challenge, tackle or nick the ball despite pressing X or second-man press, or both. The second man and/or the selected defender just harmlessly escorts the attacker to the goal. Combining this with [1], the second man is so so easy to beat. [3] Defenders should recover better: Defenders have a very poor recovery and they commit too much. A slight movement takes them out. This is so so bad, and I hope EA fixes this come EA FC 26. That aside, I will like EA to fix the goalkeepers. They make weird dives and seem bent on letting goals in. Why is a goalkeeper sitting down in the middle and covering his eyes when he should dive to the side. The left stick dribbling is so unresponsive and weird. Hello EA team, I would like to suggest improvement for FC 25 in Co-Op online modes (such as FUT Co-Op or Online Seasons with a friend across platforms). Currently, the game automatically assigns control of set pieces (penalties, free kicks, and corners) during online Co-Op matches, and there is no way to choose or predefine which player gets to take them. It would be a great addition to allow us to configure (either before the match or via a simple menu) which co-op partner takes which type of set piece. For example, one player could always take penalties, while the other takes free kicks and corners. Similarly, for "Trigger Run": Auto mode facilitates intelligent, context-driven forward runs by off-ball teammates without player input.
