Merfolk plumbob missing band.
I'm not sure exactly when this happened but I noticed today that my merfolk sim's plumbob appeared as the plumbob for non occult sims. This is not the case for other occults, although the only other one I have is aliens. I do use CC and mods but I don't know if it relates to that. MissyHissy Hopes and Fears mod and the new patch
Just wanted to let anyone else who uses the mod know that it appears to be breaking the new "Balance" UI with Enchanted By Nature. I narrowed it down with the 50/50 method. She appears to be taking a deserved break ATM and I did comment on her Patreon for whenever she's back. Played/Unplayed Sims in Newcrest are kinda cooked
in one of my save files, when i either try to edit my Newcrest played/unplayed sims either in gameplay mode or world editor mode, for some reason the loading screen just keeps loading and loading for so long (usually it takes like 3-5 seconds to load successfully), then a better exceptions mod page came out and it showed a UI exception scanning page thingy which took a long time to scan (idk how long it takes to be frank 💀) but when i checked out a (played) household in another world such as Forgotten Hollow, and entered cas through world editor mode, it loaded successfully for some reason uninstalled a bunch of UI mods, reinstalled some pose packs for cas (bcos im sure this only overrides the default trait animations and had nothing to do with UI) and deleted off a few small utility mods (including BE bcos im scared it might create more bugs), used a mccc setting to delete an outfit one of my sim bought and wore from a GTW mannequin in hopes that it works (bcos UI Exception scanner said smth like "in-game dialogs dont work in CAS, build buy and more", smth like that) but it still keeps on loading for a long time is newcrest somewhat broken or are my mods making newcrest uneditable, or are my newcrest sims broken?Solvedzoyamoon954 days agoNew Rookie46Views0likes1Comment
Social Events
I'm not sure if this is a bug, technical difficulty, or user error, but whenever I try to make a social event, nothing shows up. The command goes through, and the pop-up appears, but it's always just a plain white pop-up with the title being the only other thing that shows up. I can't select anything other than the "x" the exit out of the pop-up. This has been happening for a few months and again I'm not sure if it's just a me problem or not, but I'd really like to have a proper birthday party for my sims T.T Please help!!!!! Occults disappearing
So far I've only seen one other person have this issue. Today I tried making a fairy in CAS, and she saved to my gallery as a fairy. However, in game, she isn't a fairy at all. I go back into CAS and it turns out she got turned into a human again. No matter how many times I try to turn her back, she stays a human. Apparently this is happening with other occult types for the other person who is having this issue. Yes I am using mods (I assume it is a mod issue since no one else is struggling with this) and I updated them all from the recent patch. Even TM's BE scans say there's nothing wrong so I have no idea what mod is currently conflicting with occults. I just downloaded the new Enchanted By Nature pack, Spent a good 30 minutes making my sims & when I clicked on Innisgreen I was met with a white screen. I can't click on my sims.
Since the update. I have updated my game and updated my mods. I have removed localthumbcache.package and I took all my cc out and I have repaired my game and I still can't click on my sims. When i try to enter the game its telling me "Cannot start because the below file appears to be corruped. If this file is a mod please remove it and try again. If not , please repair or reinstall the game via origin" and the name of the file ( its a mod) , tho i have no file in this name, I have also tried to repair the game , it iד still not working and i can't open the game. Menus still broken after updating mods!
So I've updated my mods, used both curseforge to update, manually updated mods such as More CAS columns, UI Cheats, Mccc, etc and now have used the Sims 4 Mod Manager by GameTimeDev and Cannot seem to find why I am getting the UI issue. I also cannot load the nature event, it pops up as a greyed out screen with a cross that doesnt work.Solved144Views1like2Comments
Inventory Bug Impacting Game
I just bought the Business and Hobbies expansion pack ON TOP of the newest update for the Sims 4, and as soon as I open my sims inventory it bugs out. I can't go to build mode, manage worlds, open certain tabs like the social bar and needs, and other things I'm sure. But it's completely fine UNTIL I open the inventory?? I know this is a CC problem. Ive already tried disabling it and restarted the game to see if the personal inventory menu still has the bug; its gone, and when I enable CC back on, it comes back. Again, CC Issue. Anyone know what could suddenly counteracting with the update/business and hobbies expansion? I will continue to work through my mod folder and figure it out if there's no answer. Some CAS icons messed up after update
For some reasons, some of the CAS icons are broken: body fat/muscle slider, "apply to all outfit" icon, everything is green on the background despite I'm not selecting it, and there's a thick white bar on some of the bottom part of the clothes thumbnail. Disabling mods, moving mods folder to another folder, and deleting localthumbcache.package don't help at all. Attachments were taken on a fresh install of the game without mods. What should I do? Cas Being glitchy
For some reason my cas is showing a white line where the colors are supposed to be and the add another outfit is being very glitchy and the hats aren't showing up, everything is green like i selected it but i haven't, i don't know what to do. I've tried repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Uninstalling the EA app and nothing is working, but i don't really mind since its just kind of annoying but the hats thing is the most annoying. Please help. Ever since the update on July 1st I have been experiencing this issue. I can't open my sims 4 legacy save. I can't acces the household. Like I can load into the world but the minute I click on the household the game is in infinite loading screen. I can also make new games without a problem. I have tried everything to fix this. Updated my mods, ran better exceptions, did what they told me, put my folder into mod hound. Everything. When better exceptions told me there was a problem with wonderful whims I deleted it and still I keep getting stuck in loading screen. I can't find any broken cc nothing. Please help me. Strange issues after patch
Hello! I am having strange issues in my game after the last 2 updates. My mods were broken so I updated them, and I was careful to check that each one was properly up to date and working with the patch. However, when I opened the game again my UI was still broken. So I checked the in-game mods list to make sure it lined up with my actual mods folder and they were in the same version I had just updated. I knew because I had deleted a CC from the folder as well as updating script mods and the CC was still there. So I figured there was some sort of problem when I updated my mods folder. I opened the ea-app to get to the file actually connected to the app, and it lead my right back to my up-to-date folder. The strange thing is the file said it was created in march, but when I went to the properties of the file it instead said it had been created in may. So I deleted the folder, opened the game, turned script mods and all mods off, closed the game, created a new mods folder, completely redownloaded the mods, extracted them as usual, opened the game, turned on mods, restarted, and got excited to play after what was now almost a half hour of messing with my folder. The exact same issue happened again, with the in-game mods list showed the deleted mods yet again. I've also repaired the game twice. Help! I don't know what the problem is and I don't know how to figure it out. New Bug W/ Recent Update
My CAS is all glitchy and when I am doing Designer Career or try to invite sims i get WWWWWWW pop up and won't let me click X it just freezes up my whole game I even restarted my game and removed all custom content and mods to see if that was the issue and it was not I did not start having issues until the most recent updateSolved582Views2likes12Comments
Sims walking around in underwear
Some sims are walking around in some black lace underwear with wedge shoes on in Henford On Bagley Pub. I tried to reset the outfits but they keep changing back. I have been having issues with my game throwing better exceptions left and right, so I decided to just fully delete all my mods/cc. Even with doing that, uninstalling and reinstalling, and repairing my game, every time I open up my game, it's still showing I have mods/cc installed, and my game is still messed up and showing better exceptions. CC Pet Default Replacement eyes causing issues after patch
After the patch, I loaded up my game with my CC enabled and I noticed all my pets with custom painted coats had turned completely black. Replacing the pet with a fresh copy from the gallery didn't work - they were fine in CAS but once in gameplay mode, they'd turn black too. After some troubleshooting with CC, I discovered it was the default eye replacements for dogs and cats that caused it - specifically Wrixles' dolce eyes. This was the only dog and cat specific CC I had. Removing it allowed new pets to be created and not turn black in game but it didn't fix the ones already affected. I had to revert to an earlier folder save pre-patch and doing that restored all the painted coats in my saves (but I lost like 5 days of gameplay). If you have default replacement pet eyes, I'd suggest removing them entirely before updating. Unknown if this affects horses that use Wrixles' eyes, I use a different default replacement with no issues so far. This only seems to affect cats and dogs with custom painted coats - it's fixed for me but I wanted to report it in case it pops up for others.SolvedUnicornSlyme13 days agoSeasoned Traveler148Views0likes6Comments
