EA AntiCheat detected corrupted game files
First i tried to verify the integrity of the files, 66 files were corrupted. Weird but that's not all. Steam cant repair the game files. Now the really frustrating part. i did exactly this. Program Files (86x) , steam , Steamapps , common , Battlefield 2042. I fully deleted the BF 2042 files. I had then re downloaded the whole game just for it to say it had corrupted game files. i am so lost, i tried making sure all my drivers were up to date and that no other game had corrupted files. Its just BF 2042 that i cannot play at all, i have tried fully deleting the game files and i still cant get the game to run. $60 down the drain.
Javelin anti cheat question
Hello! I havent launched 2042 in a long time and wanted to jump in after seeing bf6 footage. I just discovered that theres a new anti cheat and there seem to be lots of ppl having issues. I use cheat engine to run Spartan Mod for Ghost Recon Breakpoint along with mods and nexus's mod manager for many single player games. Will the new anti cheat do anything to my system if these apps are not running or when I run them while not in BF? Im just concerned having them may lead to issues, which my friend says it will, so I would like to be sure before reinstalling. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Input bug?
So I went to go play after seeing the reveals of Battlefield 6 and I normally play KBAM in gunfights and Controller when piloting but for some reason my game thinks my controller is plugged in(Its not) and wont let me move my mouse to aim around. It just continuously drifts like a controller with stick drift is plugged in. ALSO, when i plug the controller in it doesn't even register and wont move anything. The ONLY fix is to go into settings and unbind every controller movement for On Foot and pilot settings. Ive tried to uninstall the game and reinstall(Did not work) and Deleted the BF2042 folder in documents(Did not work).

I'm still having trouble connecting to Battle 2042, I have to go through a series of maneuvers all the time to connect because when I click on the icon nothing want to start, I have to go back to the steam site to reinstall steam. But that's not all, Then I have to try three times before I can connect to Battlefield, It's quite frustrating. However, with all the other games, I connect right away, the problem really seems to come from battlefied
Voice chat in hasard zone
The voice chat stop working after a certain time, it happened 2 times around extraction 1 and also in between E1 and E2 problem solve if we all disconnect from the squad between games.. its a permanent mode, how it is possible that it is sooo unstable? Everyday new problems
Anti-cheat throws Event ID 1, ExitType: 95 (207)
Greetings With the news of BF6, I decided to boot up BF2042 again for a revisit. To my dismay, it wouldn't launch. The solution, though, was to enable Secure Boot. Except it is already enabled. So, what happens? The procedure and result is as follows: * Launch via Steam * EA App opens, processes, game splash window opens * Some 20 to 30 seconds later, game splash window disappears and EA App throws error: "Failed to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail Try again a little later". So, Inspecting Windows Event Viewer, I see that the EAAntiCheatService throws an error, Event 1, with the following message: "EAAntiCheatService ExitType: 95 (207)" Repeating the procedure yields the exact same event as well. Now, I've been through the motions regarding validating game data, uninstalling the game, then reinstalling (on a different drive even), Repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled EA Javelin Anti Cheat for BF, as well as completely removed and reinstalled the anti cheat itself, uninstalled and reinstalled EA App, making sure I have no Origin folders remaining that could conflict, removed USB connectables, ran both EA App, Steam, BF2042.exe and anti-cheat as admin (via compatibility mode options) - There are plenty of other cases within the forums where I found all of these different troubleshooting approaches to fix issues related to the anti cheat, and I dare say I've been through most of them.. None of them solve the issue though, and no matter what, I always get the same result. Now, I AM a user, so it is not impossible that I missed something completely obvious during my struggles, though I've been through the motions 2 times over now - and I can also confidently say that I will be revisiting them, as I'm pretty stubborn, but.... What I am mostly wondering, is what "ExitType: 95 (207)" means in this Windows event? I cannot find any other mention of this except in one other thread, which unfortunately yielded no solution either, but more importantly, did not contain an explanation. In my line of work,,the Windows event messages are used to troubleshoot using documentation that the vendor delivers for their software, but in this case, there are only very few error messages/codes explained in the EA Javelin Anti Cheat documentation, so I'm a bit lost here. So, does anyone have any pointers as to what "ExitType: 95 (207)" means? Thanks in advance
Battlefield 2042 Crashing & Audio Crackling with Focusrite Scarlett Interface
I’m running into a serious issue with Battlefield 2042 and my Focusrite Scarlett audio interface, and I’ve seen a few other people mention similar problems, so I’m hoping to find a solution or confirmation. Whenever I play Battlefield 2042 with my Focusrite interface connected, audio starts crackling heavily after a few minutes, then all system audio becomes delayed (grows worse with each crackle), and eventually my PC blue screens. Other games and apps work fine - this only happens with Battlefield 2042. Here’s everything I’ve attempted so far: Unplugged and replugged the interface (issue disappears when it’s disconnected) Changed buffer sizes in Focusrite Control (128 → 1024 samples) Reinstalled latest Focusrite drivers Completely uninstalled drivers and reinstalled clean Tried different sample rates (44.1 and 48 kHz across Windows and Focusrite) Disabled Exclusive Mode in Windows sound settings Used Voicemeeter / Virtual Audio Cable to reroute BF2042 audio (still crackling) Tested different USB ports and cables Ran LatencyMon → shows FocusriteUSB.sys spiking during the issue Verified the issue is ONLY with BF2042; other games and general playback are fine My system details: Focusrite model: Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen Windows version: 10 Running Battlefield 2042 via Origin It seems like a driver-level conflict between Focusrite USB drivers and Battlefield 2042 (maybe related to WDM handling or the anti-cheat system). I’ve read similar posts, so I think it’s not just my setup. Is there a known workaround for this? EA: Is this being investigated? Any help would be appreciated. If anyone else is running into this, please share your setup.
Even if you are hit by fire from an AN-94, there is no sound when you are hit.
When hit by fire from an AN-94, there is no sound indicating that you have been hit, making it difficult to recognize. With normal weapons (such as the M5A3), you take damage accompanied by a low sound when hit, but with the AN-94, there is no sound and only the screen turns red. Attaching a suppressor to the AN-94 allows it to be used in the same way as a subsonic bullet, which may constitute a glitch.
