Infinite Black Loading Screen
Just bought the game, it worked fine during the first launch, played the whole introductory match and returned to the main menu. When customizing a class, the loading icon appeared and won't go away, stuck even when i clicked play. Closed and relaunched the game, and I got the permanent infinite black loading screen (after the satellite screen) no matter how many times I've tried. Already tried all sort of fixes, reinstalled the game, deleted Documents/Battlefield2042 folder, reinstalled ea app, deleted its related folders in appdata, reset network settings, restarted router, tried using mobile hotspot, restarted pc with minimal sevices, nothing worked. What I remembered after the first launch, I closed the game and it said "couldn't sync data" or something like that. Now everytime I launched the game there's no dialog box saying anything, and no fix either. The screenshot is the active connection after the black loading screen persists for few minutes. After 6 months i finally managed to find a way to fix my EA app. If anyone is having issues when launching a game and after the splashscreen the ea app just pops back up and the game doesnt launch, i juts found a fix. I used Windows key + R then typed services.msc and went into properties on the EA Anticheat service and changed the mode from manual to automatic.Ping issues
Game was fine before the update running around 10ping now it will randomly jump to 100+ CPU usage has gone up but I’ve resolved that issue but game still rubber bands. I’ve cleared shader cache reinstalled drivers and added user.config settings but game is basically unplayable still. This is especially noticeable on certain maps like contamination. on top of that there’s some other bugs like all weapons displaying zero until you click into them. Shoutout to the absolute beasts who can pilot choppers or jets with insane precision—those 50+ kill streaks are impressive and showcase real skill. That said, aircraft often hold a massive, lopsided advantage over ground forces. I get the logic: control the skies, control the battlefield. But when one great pilot farms the lobby unchecked, it discourages infantry play and sours matches. Credit where due: skilled flying should be rewarded. But we can level the playing field slightly without nerfing pilots into irrelevance—making them work harder for those god-tier runs. A few targeted tweaks worth considering: Lower the minimum altitude for lock-on weapons — Right now, aircraft can hug the deck to break locks too easily. Dropping that threshold a bit would reward pilots who stay high and maneuver smartly, while giving shoulder-fired options (Stingers, etc.) more consistent windows against low-flying harassers. Extend flare cooldowns meaningfully — Flares already recharge, but compare that to ground vehicles (tanks reloading shells take forever) or support players restocking grenades/smoke grenades. A longer refresh would force pilots to manage cooldowns more carefully, use terrain/cover, or risk getting punished during downtime—without removing their escape tool entirely. Buff stationary AA (spawn-based flak/AA guns) — Increase effective range and damage/lethality so they actually threaten aircraft that get too bold near objectives or spawns. This gives teams passive tools to contest airspace without relying solely on mobile AA or dedicated engineers. Reduce lock-on times or acquisition range for ground AA launchers slightly — But pair it with higher damage on hit or faster projectile speed. This makes skilled pilots (who break locks with maneuvers) still dominant, but gives average players a better shot at contributing to takedowns—rewarding quick locks without making it too easy to spam. These changes wouldn’t dethrone great pilots—they’d just demand even sharper decision-making, better positioning, and teamwork (e.g., coordinating with friendly air or ground AA). Top flyers would still shine, but the average match would feel less one-sided when an ace joins.
battlefield 2042
Hello. I have one big problem with this game. Problem is when I try to start play the battlefield. When the game is loading, I can only see this: " Secure Boot is not enabled. Learn how to use SecureBoot at ...." But the secureBoot in the Bios is enabled. What can I do? Can you help me? Thanks a lot :)
Network or Server errors
The servers are broken. Or half broken. They seem to be operating normally but in reality they're cutting out for split seconds every minute or so but still allow matches to continue though with major latency/ping. Not on my end, EA. You want surveys and people to give input on forum survey etc? I am reporting a significant performance degradation that started after the Season 2 update. My CPU usage has increased to 80-90%, which causes severe input lag and stuttering, making the game unplayable. Recent patches have not resolved this issue. I can’t get the game to work at all. It wouldn’t even launch 10 months ago. For the past six months, every time I try to start it, a grey login box pops up asking for my EA account email or password. The problem is that the window isn’t fully visible for some reason, so I can’t even see all the fields. It just says “email or…” and cuts off, so I have no idea what else I’m supposed to enter. After typing my email and pressing Tab, it seems to move to another field where I can enter my password. But even after that, it claims there’s no internet connection, even though my computer is clearly connected and working fine. I’ve run both EA and Steam as administrator. I’ve reinstalled the game, Steam, EA, everything. Nothing works. The same issue just keeps repeating over and over. So here’s my question: do EA and Steam actually have any idea what they’re doing? Do you even want me as a customer, or are you just fine leaving me stuck like this? What is going on? After the recent season update, tank aiming in 1st-person view feels significantly slower and unresponsive compared to previous versions. The turret rotation speed now appears directly tied to internal turret speed limitations rather than scaling properly with mouse sensitivity settings. Increasing Vehicle Mouse Aim Sensitivity improves responsiveness in 1st-person, but it makes 3rd-person camera control excessively fast and difficult to manage. There is currently no proper separation between 1st-person turret sensitivity and 3rd-person vehicle camera sensitivity. 1st-person tank aim should scale consistently with Vehicle Zoom Sensitivity without negatively affecting 3rd-person camera movement. Sensitivity behavior should match pre-season update responsiveness. Multiple PC players are experiencing similar behavior after the update. It appears to be either a sensitivity scaling bug or unintended turret speed restriction in 1st-person view.
Cannot install Battlefield 2042 with Xbox Game Pass Premium
i have xbox game prenium but i cannot install bf2042 trhough the ea app. every time a try to install it, the EA app tells me that i need to buy the game, even i have been trying several days and would really like to play . could someone help me resolve this issue
