Madden 26 won’t Launch on Steam
Pre-ordered Madden 26 Deluxe on Steam. Every time I go to launch it via Steam or EA app, I get the splash screen then a black screen and then an error citing directx. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated windows, updated EA app, restarted my laptop, updated nvidia, ran as administrator, nothing works. I’ve never had this much trouble and all my other games work fine. Please help. I’ve been trying to fix this for hours.
Xbox series X turns off while playing
I get Madden and CFB 26. I've played these games for years Im a paying customer I love these games but I can see EA doesn't care. It's been a month since CFB 26 came out multiple reports of the game crashing and there's nothing. I thought maybe just maybe Madden will be different. I was wrong. Now I can't even play CFB 26 or Madden 26 without it turning off my Xbox Series X. It's fine EA I know you don't care and you want even see this but you guys lost a loyal customer. I hope it gets fixed for everyone else probably 5 months down the road. Trying to play mut is literally impossible. Last year and the start of this year already whenever I try to play an online game I have unplayable input delay and it causes my game to stutter at times. I have a ryzen 7 5700x, NVIDIA 3070, 32gb 3600mhz ram and I have good internet with an ethernet cable. I have tried locking my fps, lowering my settings and nothing works. I preordered the game for the mut rewards hoping and praying I would actually be able to play, but EA is just a group of monkeys in the jungle throwing **bleep** around and producing this game from it. If anyone knows what I can do it would be very very appreciated.
PC stuttering and performance still unacceptable
I wanted to create a new discussion since the originally reported issue is marked as "solved" and it is clearly not. We need an ETA for a fix asap since the game has been unplayable for a week now - only 2 months after game release! Since the update a week ago (21-Oct-2025) PC performance is unplayable with lag spikes and stuttering when playing any online game. No graphics settings seem to help and the provided workaround only helps with offline modes... this is NOT A VIABLE SOLUTION for online modes (which is 99% of how we play the game). There has been no ETA for a fix and I just tried a H2H game now and the issue is still present. Ever since i started playing the game with ea play pro im able to get good performance for one game then as soon as i get into another i get terrible fps drops and ive literally tried everything, updated drivers, toggled nvidia setting, windowed bordelress, locking and unlocking my fps, and i even see my gpu is barely being used while the game is active like idk what is going on.. it happens with fifa too and i was able to play fifa with no issues for the longest, now i get fps drops in that with rtx 3060, madden 25 ran smooth for me but this game has just been borderline unplayable ik some ppl have had the same issue even with better specs than me, has anyone found a fix?
