My launcher doesnt work since tuesday
Hello i play swtor since many years and everything was good but since tuesday my launcher is suddenly doesnt work, when I launch the launcher it loads for 10 seconds and then closes on its own, displaying the message "restarting"—but it never actually restarts. i’ve tried several things to fix the issue based on information I found online, but nothing has helped. I even deleted the game to try and reinstall it, but now I can’t even download it because the launcher keeps closing on its own. i don’t know what else to do to get it working again; do you have any solutions? thanks. 😭
C7 error
I don't understand why after playing so many months since my return and in fact in previous years i had no issue with this garbage that I'm suddenly getting this error. I already did a fresh install in case and i still get it. it's odd that it's happening on a tuesday(reset day). Coincidence? Anyways i'm frustrated by this big time.EA Linking Inscrutability
How do, Seen a bit of this online hereabouts but my experience may be different enough to make this why it's not working out for me. Been away for ages, thought I'd pop back in for a look since there's finally a Mac client. Better late than never, eh? But there's trouble as soon as I try to resubscribe. My account for SWTOR and EA share the same addy. Recently logged into both, all work. But there's no indication that my SWTOR knows about EA and vice versa. To quote someone well known in these here parts, would it help if I got out and pushed? The pathway to resolving this is a bit opaque. All I'm trying to do is pay for a sub. It's hard to figure why when both match, this false positive is pointed at as to why. Support that requires a paid sub - which can't be reactivated for unknowable reasons - a bit of a catch 22. Anyone here that can shed useful light that helps me resolve things, many thanks.
multiple account issues
old time player here , havent logged since 2019 , the problems i am facing : can not change e-mail from swtor.com , the one time pass never arrives can not remove SK so i can install the google authenticator to my new phone i had to open my old phone to get access to my account is there any e-mail to get in contact or they have fired most of the support too and they work only by phone for this game ? any help is welcomed.can't receive the One-Time Password
I don't play the game in years, but I tried to log in and it says it can't recognize my device (for obvious reasons) but I never get the one time password sent by email. The email account is working fine. Plus I live in Brazil, it's really expensive to call to their physical number. :(Can't connect to any server
Getting the "a connection error has occurred" message when I try to connect to any server. I have: set my date and time to auto based on server flushed dns restarted allowed SWTOR through firewall disabled the firewall altogether The only thing that changed prior to the issue was a windows update. When I launched the game after it asked for the game to be let through the firewall. If that helps. Any help is appreciated thanks.
How to remove account(?)
I've literally never played the game nor have it, but i got a notification/email that says "A new reward for Subscribers + An Update Regarding Inactive Character Names". I wonder did someone make an account under my gmail or they just send random emails to anyone they find a gmail for? Anyone wanna help me figure out the situation on it? Thanks lol.
Login service is unavailable
I tried to login into my old account I received the following launcher error: "The login service is currently is unavailable. Details can be founf on our Twitter account." There were no details found on the X account. When trying to login into the web page I get the following error: "Authentication request could not be processed due to a system problem." Any ideas?Trying to get back my account
So after a couple of years of not playing the game, I wanted to get back only to find out that... That I forgot my password. So I tried to reset it, but here is where the real problem showed up... I need my security access code to reset the password, but the SW app is not working on my phone, so I have no idea how to set a new password. I cannot contact support through the game because I can't get inside the game. Is there anything I could do to get my account back?
[Steam] Login unavailable - Need fix
Hi, I already tried every step there was to solve this issue, the opnes that were in the guide here and the ones that the community tried and posted. Re: [INFO] Common Issues and Solutions | EA Forums - 10748197 -DNs is already flushed. -Tried installing the standalone launcher and the problem persist. Same with reinstalling the steam version several times. -Made sure to whitelist every executable from my antivirus (this is the first time ever i got this error). -Made sure the date and time settings from my Pc and 2fa app were the same. I'm not sure what else to do.SWTOR/EA Account Linking Error - Need Help from Brazil
Hello everyone, I'm trying to return to SWTOR after a long break, but I can't log in because the game asks me to verify my age. When I try to verify my age, I receive this error message: "There is an issue with your EA account that is preventing your request from completing." My EA account was apparently created automatically when I started playing SWTOR, long before 2019. When I check the account connection, it shows: "Link Status: Error." I've already tried changing my password, but that didn't solve the problem. I'm not sure whether I changed the password for the correct EA account, and I don't know how to find out which email address was originally linked to my SWTOR account. EA support has directed me to call +1 (855) 345-2186, but I live in Brazil and cannot call this US toll-free number. I haven't been able to find another way to contact customer support. Does anyone know how I can resolve this account linking error, identify the EA account linked to my SWTOR account, or contact support from Brazil? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Change the secondary combat style system
You can't change your secondary combat style and I think this is a missed opportunity. Imagine changing your style every month because you want to try different classes and playstyles on your level but dont want to make a new character. They could just change the secondary combat style into changeable and not permanent like it is now.Keeps sending one-time-passcode
Within the last week, every single time I log into swtor on my laptop, which is the only device I have ever and will ever use for the foreseeable future for swtor, it sends me a one-time-password to finish out logging in. It didn't used to do this, and to my knowledge it should only do this if it has been a very long time since the last log in or its a new device. Anyway I can get it to stop sending a code and just let me log in like normal? Or at least an explanation as to why its only started this within the last week? Its annoying needing to do an extra step every time just to play the game.
[Steam] Log in issues
Hello, I’m having issues logging in. I’m trying to log in on the Steam version and it won’t let me get past the security key, saying my Steam account isn’t linked but when I look in my SWTOR account, there is no steam linked so I’m really stumped here. I’ve tried everything I believe. I moved to Steam since the download speeds on the official launcher were so slow. Any ideas on what to do?
