The game launcher isnt launching
Hi I have a Steam version AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor Windows 11 AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Monitor 1920x1080 resolution Stopped play in Swtor mounth ago, didnt have a problems with launching game accept troubles with connections to servers. Didnt delete Steam's game directory, by the way. Then I decided to return and subscribe again yesterday. And suddenly I encountered a problem - the launcher.exe application does not start at all. I am clicking PLAY at Steam or clicking desktop shortcut but nothing happens. Launcher.exe or swtor.exe applications is missing from task manager, even doesnt appear there What did i do: - checked verify the files by Steam - all is good, redownloading isnt requiring - checked updates to video card - all is good - checked antivirus - still disabled, its cant interfere - checked .Net Framework and DirectX - having last versions - checked Windows updates - downloaded all accept version 25H2 (some error 0x800f0989), but I played normally with that month ago - tried Launcher's running as administrator or compatibility mode with Win8 - didnt help - deleted Launcher.exe and did verify the files by Steam again - new launcher downloaded but the problem remains - tried Launcher's running as administrator or compatibility mode with Win8 - didnt help - downloaded installer from swtor.com and tried to repair game - nothing happened The one thing I didnt do is redownloading all game. But I am not sure it will launch. See, SWTOR worked normally month ago - accept rare lags and bad connections. I think some update from Broadcast broke my launcher. That did not change anything either. I tried to launched SWTOR and the launch screen is waaaay to zoomed in. I have tried everything from changing the resolution to tinkering with the game thanks to google and it still didn't work. Attempting to get into Account, no access to Security Key
Hi, I've been trying to access my old republic account after a few years of not playing. My Security Key is tied to an old phone which is no longer in use and has no way of being used again. Is there anyway it could be removed and i can set it up on my new phone? I have access to my email if one would need to be sent for it. I am genuinely at my wit's end at this point. I used to play SWTOR a couple years ago and took a break from it. I tried returning to the game, but I genuinely do not remember my password. If I try to reset it from the SWTOR webpage directly the emails just never arrive. To my knowledge my SWTOR and EA accounts are not linked. I can't subscribe. Why isn't my money good enough?
I created my SWTOR account in 2011. I haven't been a subscriber for around 5+ years. I want to return. I try to subscribe while obviously logged into SWTOR's site, also logged into the actual game as a free player, AND logged into my EA account on the same browser. I get a: "There was an issue accessing your account information. Sign in and place your order again." error. It happens no matter my payment method (credit card or PayPal, I tried both). It also happens no matter if I try a monthly subscription or to buy a 60-day token. When I click on the "Manage Billing" button, nothing loads. The loader just spins indefinitely. My EA account is linked to my SWTOR account. When I click on the EA Account button on SWTOR's website, it says my account link is good. I use my EA account through my launcher to play games weekly without issue. I load the SWTOR game through its launcher, NOT through EA or Steam. I've been trying to subscribe and researching wtf is going on for over 3 hours, and I'm losing all desire to play now. Unable to change the email address linked to my SWTOR account
Hello, I am contacting you because I need to change the email address linked to my Star Wars: The Old Republic account, but I no longer have access to the current email address. The account settings require verification through the original email before I can update it. Since I cannot access that inbox, I am unable to complete the process or move forward through the available account-recovery options. I have also been unable to find a working way to contact SWTOR support directly. The available support pages keep leading me back to steps that require access to the old email address, so I am trying this EA support form as the only available contact route I could find. I would prefer to recover and keep the account. However, if changing the email address is not possible, please let me know whether the only remaining option is to request the deletion of the account. Hi. I don't know if that's an issue for anyone else (as far as I know, yes), but I've been trying to log into SWTOR. The launcher gives me a One Time Password request, for which usually I get a mail within 10 minutes. Well now, I've been waiting for 2 hours and 45 minutes (!!!!) while I'm writing this. Yes, I checked every possible folder. Yes, I'm checking the appropriate mailbox. The best thing is, I need one for the site as well, so I can't even raise a ticket to notify anyone about this (that is if anyone cares from the SWTOR group). Hello, I am also having a problem accessing my Star Wars: The Old Republic account. My SWTOR account is linked to an old email address that I no longer have access to. The email account was closed years ago, and I cannot recover it. When I try to log in to my SWTOR account, I am asked to complete two-factor authentication. However, the verification code is being sent to the old email address, which I can no longer access. Because of this, I am completely locked out of my SWTOR account, even though it belongs to me.
