Daughters of the Warrioress Gen 2 - Updated 11/19
Banner by Maladi777 Welcome, welcome in the age of heroes! As I've already written some stories before, I wasn't completely new to it when starting this one. However, it was the first time I didn't use my native language so please generously overlook the fact that the first chapters are not perfect - it gets better, as do the pictures and storytelling in the whole ;) You are always more than welcome to point out grammar or other mistakes that make reading hard for you. Now, please enjoy! :) --- In case you finish reading this story and need more of the same kind, I can recommend Marialein's tribe Naheli, roseinblack69's Blessing Moon Tribe and Meggles' Suzu Clan. If you have any other Amazon or historical stories or gameplay to recommend, do not hesitate to do so by PM or here. But now, no further delay. I started a romantic elimination competition for one of my sims. He just became a young adult and is looking for that special someone to spend the rest of his life with. It is bachelor style, where he is the bachelor and 8 single women are vying for his attention. I decided not to do it at Gibbi Point. It is at a lot from the gallery that I placed in Del Sol Valley in the hills. This is the bachelor, Theodore Ito Scott at the getaway enjoying a moment alone. These are Theodore's traits. He just got the Lovebug one since being at the getaway for half a day. I think he is a good catch. And in alphabetical order, these are the women competing for his affection. These were taken after the first half day. I will post some pictures later of the first night, but any guesses about who the first elimination was?256Views8likes46Comments!!Storytelling Input Needed!!
Sul sul, fellow simmers. I'm working on a bit of a storytelling project that follows the Hot Tea Legacy Challenge by @lxdice. Before I get too far into it, I wanted to get your input on a couple of aspects. So, without further ado, lets get into it. First, when it comes to reading a sim story that follows a legacy, do you prefer short a sweet story telling or longer, more detailed chapters? My current chapter is 476 words thus far, and I still have some storytelling to do before moving onto chapter two. Is 500-1000 words two much? Second, I want to tell a story with pictures. I want you to be able to capture the atmosphere and drama for this story. I want you to see the cute moments, the gritty moments. Now, I don't want to go too crazy and just make it ALL about the pictures. I merely want some form of visuals to go alone with the written story. Would you prefer in-game screenshots like this: Or would you enjoy a story told with screenshots edited by AI to look like realistic digital oil paintings? I'm not really artistically inclined and I thought that perhaps you guys might like seeing a story told with something other than the OG screenshots from gameplay. Any input you guys can give me would be helpful. I'm excited about telling this story, but I want to make it as enjoyable as possible for the readers! Thank you in advance!!62Views1like5CommentsAlphabet SuperLegacy Challenge Rules
Updated for Adventure Awaits. This is a legacy challenge where each generation represents a different letter, and must explore all of the game play starting with that letter: aspirations, collections, woohoo spots, reward store traits, you name it. I already have a thread for this challenge that has been updated through Crystal Creations. Since it was transferred from the old forum, it was very hard to update further. Ignore any objective related to a pack you don’t own. You can choose to skip a generation if your pack limitations leave it extremely short on content. I've removed two of the letters (Q, Y) from the challenge because they don't have much to do, even with all the packs. No cheat codes that help you move through your objectives faster. No rules about aging. No rules governing non-heirs. Just because one generation has something as an objective, doesn’t mean that other generations can’t do it for fun/convenience. If you don’t have at least three traits in the assigned letter, you have to randomize the rest. No self-discovery traits starting with a different letter. Each heir's name, and that of any pets they have, must begin with their letter. Likes and Dislikes: The heir can only have the likes/dislikes assigned to their generation. Color preferences are assigned when they age up to Child. From that point forward, all the heir's outfits will reflect their color preferences. If you decorate a space for them, you must consider their color preferences. Fashion and interior design preferences are assigned when they age up to teen (if you have those packs). From that point forward, all their outfits and decorated spaces will reflect their style preferences. Lot Traits and Challenges: The heir must have all of their assigned lot challenges equipped in all of their designated residences. If the heir has three assigned lot traits or less, they also must be assigned. If the heir has four or more lot traits, they have to change up which three are in play. The heir's transitional aspirations (the ones that decide the bonus traits) have to be aspirations from their generation, unless they don't have two aspirations. At the start of the challenge, the Gen 1 "founder" will be a toddler, so you will need to give them at least one parent. Good Day I have started a new Insane Challenge. Below is the details for said challenge: Insanely Long Sims Challenge with Occult Infants Challenge is to play a Human Teen and have her found/move-in 4 or more occult infants. Playing with aging off and age them manually after time laps as detailed in #4 below. Challenge Fails: a.) If any of the infants/Toddlers or Children is taken away. b.) If the main sim or any of the Infants/Toddlers or Children die. Challenge Ends: All “adopted” sims reach level 5 in a full-time career/profession, get married and move out. On moving out the Main sim MUST give every sim moving out 50 000 simoleons to start a good life. RULES: 1. You must create 4 other households before starting. These must consist of 1 YA/Adult and 1 infant of one of the occults. Kill the YA/Adult so that the game creates a household with only the infant. Create 4 or more occults, depending on how many you want your main sim to raise/save/help. No Ghost infants. 2. Start with 1 Human Teen on an empty lot and ZERO money. Dress in only 1 outfit and 1 set of underwear/swimwear for ALL outfits. 3. You start with the worst possible clothes. Buying/Changing cloths cost 450 simoleons for everyday, workout, sleepwear, swimwear and hot weather. For formal, party and Cold weather the cost is 650 simoleons. 4. Sims MUST drop out of school on the first day of school. Traveling fee to and from school on the 1st day for the Main sim can be add to debt of the lot. 5. Play with aging off. Sim starts as a fourteen-year-old, and every 4 season = 1 year. Once they reach 19 years, they can be age up to YA. (Infants = 4 seasons; Toddlers = 12 seasons; Children = 28 seasons; Teens = 20 seasons; YA = 88 seasons; Adults = 100 seasons and Elders = 60+ seasons). 1 season = 7 days 6. The price of the empty lot MUST be paid back, money made first go to paying lot price. Use money X to remove money until lot is paid. 7. No lot traits may be used, except those the game gives. 8. Simple Living and Off-the-grid MUST be on. Simple Living can never be removed but Off-the-grid can be removed if the sim can pay 100 000 simoleons to get connected. Only the generator, max of 2 roof solar panels and the dew collector maybe used. 9. You may NOT build anything until you pay of the lot AND get the 1st message at the Mua Pel’am area that the environment is improving, no matter where you reside. 10. Every time you travel it cost money 100 simoleons per load screen per sim, travel to work and school or ANY Rabit hole cost 200 simoleons, only exception it traveling to neighbours you can walk too. 11. You may NOT use ANY community lot facilities or skill items. 12. You may NOT get free chips at the bar, if you can’t pay you can have it. Nothing for free! 13. You may NOT sell anything from inventory or household inventory. 14. All selling MUST take place OFF lot, no home businesses or yard sales at home. 15. All fruit; fish and animal products MUST be sold to store keepers in Henford-on-Bagley. 16. Everything else MUST be sold on a selling table or similar stand at NO MORE than 25% markup except for painting they must be sold at value (0% markup). All painting over 500 simoleons are taxable and you only get 50 % of the value price. (You may NOT sell painting from the easel directly, except for aspiration purposes. 17. You may NOT use the digital sketch pad at ALL. 18. You may not graft plant to get another fruit like Dragon fruit, death flower etc. You may find it or buy it. Grafting for garden aspiration must be plants that don’t create new type of fruit or flower. 19. NO MONEY TREES! 20. NO CRYSTAL TREES! 21. No FREE SERVICES! 22. No SENDING TO DAYCARE! 23. NO SELL OUTFITS FROM THE THRIFSTORE! If it is part of the teen aspiration it must be sold for no more than 10% profit. 24. Going on Vacation cost 5 000 simoleons per sim on top of the housing cost, you must pay for airline or bus tickets too 😊 and NO sims may be left behind when you go on vacation, everyone go or no-one go. 25. After the 1st season on his/her own your sim can start “finding abandoned” infants, that they take in and raise. To be able to take and raise them the sim MUST stay for 2 days with the infant and any other household members in the area they “find” the infant. Infants must be found in areas that relate to their occult (Fairy in Innisgreen, Mermaid in Sulani etc). Remember which season and on day they are taken in as that will be their future birthday season and day. See #4 for aging detail. 26. I was vastly inspired when reading the decades challenge, and as a history teacher, I could not stop myself from giving it a try. Of course, true to my nature or refusing to do things by the book, the first thing I did was break the rules. How? By creating as my protagonist a single, working woman living on her own! Gasp! Why? Partly because a story popped into my head, but also, partly, to honor the many women who - by choice or necessity - actually worked, and worked hard for their living in the 1890s. We tend to forget them, but the working women were there - from the hard working farmers that we often downgrade by calling wives, as if they weren't an essential part of the economy of the farm, to the working class women working as domestic help or in the factories where they were only payed half of a man's wages. So with that, I introduce Abigail Spencer, a single, working, middle class woman in 1890s Willow Creek: As middle class there is only a few jobs available to Abigail, that of governess or that of teacher. Abigail is therefore a teacher, teaching at Willow Creek Elementary School. She lives right next door to the school, in a small shotgun house with a few chickens and a patch of land to help her make ends meet (teachers really were not payed a lot during this time either). Obviously, her biggest goal in life is to find a husband, get married and start a family so that she won't have to work. (In fact, a teacher, as well as many other working women, automatically lost their job if they got married during this time.) But to get married, she needs to find a husband. Meet Willow Creek's eligible bachelors: Matthew Godeau: Matthew is one of the richest men in Willow Creek. A bit too old to still be a bachelor he lives with his widowed mother in Ophelia house (yes, eventually this family changed their names and became the Goths. Ophelia house is named from Matthew's mother). Pro: Matthew is creative, just like Abigail, as well as a romantic and would be sure to bestow lots of attention on a wife. He lives in one of the biggest houses in town, and is a wealthy business man. Abigail would have a good life with him. Con: His mother. Ophelia is a woman set in her own ways and she is not about to let some silly girl interfere with how she runs her house! Ophelia is mean, materialistic and an overachiever. She is not likely to see some middle class teacher as good enough for her son. Add that she has raised her son to be not only creative and romantic, but also incredibly self absorbed and the household may prove hard to be comfortable with. Joseph Whittaker: Joseph is a novellist, living in the stately Whittaker house, which with time, will be turned into the well renowned Willow Creek Archive. He has no mother (a definite pro), but two very young children. A son and a daughter, from a previous marriage. Pro: Joseph is a bookworm, just like Abigail and is sure look favourably on her past as a teacher. They are also both family orientated which means they are a good match in personalities and would likely find a lot of common ground. The house is ripe with books, and Joseph's two motherless children desperately need a mother to tend to their needs. With two live in maids it's a comfortable life focused on the family and the books she so loves. Con: Joseph very much mourns his dead wife, and keeps her picture on the wall over the fireplace. Can he ever truly love again, or will Abigail forever live in the shadow of the woman he loved and lost? Loyd Brennan: Loyd is the owner of Brennan's Groceries and Dry Goods, the biggest (only) shop in town. He lives with his sister Mary and their dachshund above the store. Pro: Loyd is outgoing and friendly and easy to get along with. He's self assured, but unlike Matthew, not self absorbed. He works hard and provides a good home. As a working man he does not mind a working wife, so Abigail would do more than sit around being pretty. He loves dogs, and anyone who does cannot be bad - right? Con: Living in a store would mean working in the store. There is no way the wife of a store owner is not in that store working along side her husband. Without money for a maid, this involves not just working in the store but running the household as well. The apartment isn't really big enough for a large family and unless Mary gets married, it's bound to be crowded. Then there is the fact that she and Mary does not really get along well. Paul Heydale: Paul is a farmer, living with his entire family at Garden Essence, a farm with a cow, chickens and a whole lot of crops. They're a tight knit family who works hard for what they have. Pros: Paul, like Abigail is both creative and family orientated. He dreams of becoming a painter rather than a farmer. By marrying him, Abigail would be wrapped up in a large family who would be there for her, something she'd never had before. His family is also very friendly, and Abigail teachers his younger sister and has already met and chatted with his mother and father and really likes the entire family. Con: Marrying a farmer would be a step down the social ladder, and the life of a farmer is hard! Is Abigail cut out for working out from early morning to late evening without ever more than making ends meet? And the house is crowded as is, with Paul's parents and two younger siblings (so far). Where would more children live? Is Abigail prepared for the hard life that accompanies this choice? Now I wanted to make a poll, but apparently you cannot do this in this section of the forums. So I'll leave you with a question instead - who do you believe Abigail will most likely fall in love with and why? Matthew Joseph Loyd Paul Finally, here is my Willow Creek in 1890: *** An important note about the future postings in this story: After trying and fighting the forum to get the posts up and running as they are supposed to work, I have now decided that it's simply too much work. Instead, I have started a blog that (hopefully soon) will contain all of the chapters from here and the old forum. I am currently at 1891 and moving forwards quite rapidly. Here the posts of each chapter will be replaced by a link to the chapters in the blog as I move forwards, though I will leave any comments as they are. The massive perk with this is that I do not need to worry about editing in all images manually, and the loading time will decrease enormously without them. The process of reading is also easier at the blog - and while the blog itself is in the wrong order, I have set up a list of all chapters in chronological order for new readers as well as a search function if you are looking for a specific chapter. Another perk is that I have some new options, like character pages where you can get a summary of each of the main character in the story (warnings for spoilers) and a separate page about the challenge, how time moves. I hope I will be able include a link to the family tree as well. It will take some time to get everything set up, and I do appreciate input in the process. I do promise that the story will go on, and hope you will keep reading it and commenting on it either here or on the new blog. Hi guys! I started playing Sims 4 in May 2020, but I've been playing The Sims on and off for almost twenty years. Building is my favourite part of playing, so I've posted quite a few builds on the gallery over the last few months. I thought I'd post pics and links of a few of my favourites below. Let me know what you think. They are all NO CC builds, though they DO require the MOO cheat to be entered prior to placement. Hi! I'm looking for a save file that would be nice for a celebrity save file. I wanna play mostly in San Myshuno and Del Sol Valley but I like to use other worlds too. My idea for my sims would be a bottle girl/music producer and her roommate that is an influencer. I want a lot of luxurious lots but also a variety of sims. I don't know if anything like this exists, but just thought I'd ask :)32Views0likes0CommentsThe Song of St. Dymphna | Horror Story - A Collab by StorySimmer & Sim Eliza

I wanted to share what I'm working on, I'm making my own world, I'm looking for feedback, I've collected lots from the exhange and built my own lots. The world contains it's own description, animated Icon and picture. The world map, contains it's own Icons, descriptions. I still need to place the sims in the world, I've got about 40-50 free slots, in the world to place the monster high sims, I used mainly Rental units like dorms, to increase this count. Skelen Moania was the founder of New Salem, I wanted to give the town more identity than just being place where monster high is, so this is the lot she currently lives in. Skelen Moania, owns the local graveyard, but it's used more like a nightclub than graveyard, it's where the monster high students goto party. Coffin Bean Café is the hottest haunted spot in town for Monster High students to come after school, whether they want to hit the biteology books, chit chat while playing with monster pets, or enjoy scaretastically scrumptious snacks. The truth of the matter is that, I'm not actual a massive fan of monster high, but I do enjoy creating worlds , especially worlds with a good amount of law. What can be difficult for me, is when i build a lot, I always consider gameplay first for example that Coffin Bean Café cost less than 18K, it makes me think outside the box to make something look good on tighter budjet. I've downloaded so many fantastic lots from the exchange only to bin them, due to making the game, load forever and I just wish some builders will actual play test the lots. Just don't get me started on the move objects cheat, when I download a lot I always seem to have 10 cupboards infront of my bed.😄 I've got no plans to share the world file, I don't won't to face the wrath of the plagiarism police, but if anybody is intrest, I will post the links to everything I've used and setup instructions. The only mods I'm using are stuff I can use and edit myself, I'm trying to keep the world Custom Content free, I did make a small mod that changes the text, to say Monster high instead of Copperdale school, that was for immersion. I also use the Home Regions mod to help setup sims, I don't wont a NPC from Willow Creek walking past my door while I'm playing in a monster world and vice versa, keeps everybody where they should be.118Views3likes4Comments- PrincessGadite1231 days agoSeasoned Newcomer61Views1like0Comments
