Skin tones & pregnancy length
Hi there! I’ve noticed dark skin tones have an almost bright pink lips. At first I thought it was lipstick but it’s not. The colour also overlines the sims lips. another thing I’d really really like to add is an option to change the pregnancy length, so it’s not just 3 days. I’d like to be able to adjust it to go up to 9 days so we could have 3 days per trimester to make it more realistic.CharlesThee3rd1 hour agoNot applicable10Views0likes1CommentHI Lovely Sims-players&Tech-Group.It is Another Great Day for a Year-Today.

I’ve been playing this game for over five years across different accounts, and I genuinely love it. ❤️ One feature I’d love to see, though, is a more automated family system. Once we start a family and have multiple children, managing their marriages and continuing the family lineage can become quite time-consuming. Maybe children could automatically get married when they reach the appropriate age and move forward with their own families, allowing the lineage tree to grow naturally without requiring the player to manage every generation manually. Just an idea, but I think it could make the family and lineage system feel much more dynamic and alive!756625027 hours agoNewcomer10Views0likes0CommentsSome quick thoughts on the new feature coming soon.
Honestly, the education system needs a serious upgrade. We have way too few high schools to make the experience feel unique, and university content is pretty bare-bones. It really kills the immersion when huge chunks of a Sim's life are just skipped over or unavailable. Also, what about adult education? Once a Sim graduates uni (or skips it), there's literally nothing else to choose from. And don't get me started on the 'High School/Average Grades' tag stuck on old Sims from before you even bought the Uni pack—it's so immersion-breaking for legacy saves. I know rebuilding preschool and elementary from scratch would be a lot, and maybe those should've been part of the High School Years pack. But even so, I'm still hoping we get to play a more complete life cycle someday. I want my Sims to have a real, full journey from childhood all the way to adulthood.🙂202148749 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer19Views0likes0CommentsScreenshot Into Pictures!(XBOX)
I understand we have cameras, but I really want actual good photos of my family without having to use cheats like adding a random one and spending 30 mins trying to get photos where they are making weird faces. We need something in-game that we can screenshot, crop, and have show up as photos in The Sims inventory. And please don't make me pay for it please and thank you!Hellodarkness11712 hours agoRising Newcomer6Views0likes0CommentsSuggestion
Hello, I love The Sims 4, but I think it would be awesome to create a special mechanic-themed pack. In The Sims 3, Sims could drive their own cars to work, whereas here we only have bikes and boats. Why not create a pack focused entirely on repair jobs, being a mechanic, and buying/selling cars (or motorcycles)? Just a thought.Magie3412 hours agoNewcomer9Views1like0CommentsReward traits to stop emotion-related deaths
I think it would be great to have reward traits that would stop Sims from dying of specific intense emotions! Similar to the way Heatproof and Iceproof keep individual Sims safe from weather deaths, there could be reward traits framed as having such good self-control that they don't let their emotions overcome them. Something called, e.g. "The Fun Never Stops," where no matter how playful your Sim gets they don't die of hysteria. Brought to you by "I'm playing a Goofball Sim and I'm constantly worrying he will go into hysterics and perish."ChelonianBlue14 hours agoRising Traveler8Views0likes0CommentsCare for self
I recently had a sim join the park ranger career and I thought it was cool that you could select specific activities for her to do (like "shower" or "eat dinner", etc.) and I'm wondering why we can't make this the wheel for every off lot sim who is at home. "Care for self" has my sims at home sleeping at 10 a.m. or not eating at all (especially infants and toddlers). If there were a similar wheel that comes with the park ranger career path, it would make traveling/working away from home so much easier.najaraja17 hours agoRising Rookie11Views0likes0CommentsSo Tired From Marrying Off My Unplayed Households
Currently, while Neighborhood Stories allows for some changes like having babies, adopting, retiring, and moving in or out etc. there are a few important features missing that would help families grow and evolve naturally. Here are some features I would love to see added: ▪️Marriage: Sims should be able to marry autonomously, even if the player is not controlling their household. This would allow families to continue expanding without the player’s direct involvement. ▪️Divorce: Sims should be able to autonomously divorce if their relationship status changes. This would allow for more realistic family dynamics. ▪️Moving Out & Creating New Households: Teens and young adults should have the option to leave their households and create their own households, even without player intervention. This would allow Sims to continue to live their own lives, meet new Sims, and start their own families. ▪️Joining Another Household: Sims should be able to join other households, either through marriage or through other life changes. This could give rise to new family combinations and interactions. These additions would help make Neighborhood Stories more dynamic and allow Sims to live fuller lives without the player constantly managing every household. Sims could form relationships, start families, and grow old without needing direct control, allowing for organic development of family trees and more immersive storytelling. By adding these options The Sims 4 could bring a more realistic experience of life for all Sims, even those who are not being directly played. I got tired from marrying off my unplayed households... Also MC Command Center does that so I don't think this is hard to implement.2KViews37likes14Comments[RL] [JBT] We need a cooldown for autonomous lightsaber and sword duels
I always send my Uni students to Batuu for "Spring Break" where they acquire lightsabers. Some of them now have RL swords. They used to occasionally have spontaneous lightsabers duels, now it seems that all they do is have sword/lightsaber duels. It used to be amusing, but it's gotten out of hand. Multiple Lightsaber duels between 2:17 AM and 2:41 AM There are 4 Sims in this Household. If I just observe, they seem to endlessly duel.DizzyDee-K23 hours agoSeasoned Ace11Views0likes0CommentsConsole Marketplace Improvements
Personally, I think that the Marketplace is quite difficult to use on console and is mainly designed for PC users. It’s really awkward to scroll or even browse. The pack and kit images get cut off the screen when you scroll, so I’m unable to properly see what I’m browsing unless I move the right stick. My suggestion is that the option to scroll freely using the right stick should be removed, and we should only be able to use the left stick to scroll. I also think the tiles, including the pictures and text should be made slightly smaller so that they fit better on the screen and are easier to view while browsing. This would make the Marketplace much less awkward and easier to browse on console. Thanks.27Views2likes1CommentThe Sims 4 Ballet Expansion Pack
I have been playing The Sims since I was around 9 or 10 years old, and it has remained one of my favorite games as I've grown up. One thing I would absolutely love to see added to The Sims 4 is a fully developed ballet and dance expansion or game pack. I don't mean simply adding ballet as another rabbit-hole career. I would love for Sims to actually be able to live the life of a ballerina from childhood all the way through a professional career. Starting as a Child Ballet could begin when Sims are children. Parents could enroll their children in ballet classes, or children could start learning at home with a ballet barre, mirror, practice mat, or television tutorials. They could learn basic positions and movements at first and gradually become more advanced. Children could attend weekly classes, practice at home, participate in their first recital, and earn different ballet outfits or shoes as they progress. Some children could discover that they absolutely love ballet and develop a dream of becoming a professional dancer when they grow up. Ballet Skill & Practice Ballet could have its own skill that requires regular practice. Sims could practice: - Barre exercises - Positions and footwork - Pirouettes - Leaps and jumps - Pointe work - Flexibility and stretching - Partner dancing - Choreographed routines Progress shouldn't happen simply because a Sim goes to work. Professional dancers would need to maintain their skills by practicing, stretching, attending classes, and rehearsing. Sims who stop practicing for long periods could even become rusty. Ballet School & Training As children become teenagers, ballet could become more serious. Teen Sims who want to pursue professional ballet could audition for advanced programs or prestigious ballet schools. Their ballet skill, fitness, confidence, and previous training could influence whether they are accepted. They could have rehearsals, instructors, classmates, friendships, rivalries, and upcoming performances to prepare for. There could even be special interactions such as: Practice Together Ask for Ballet Advice Help With Technique Compliment Performance Critique Dancing Practice Partner Routine Encourage Young Dancer A Full Professional Ballet Career As young adults, Sims could audition for a professional ballet company. Instead of making the entire career a rabbit hole, I would LOVE for major rehearsals and performances to be playable. Your Sim could start near the bottom of the company and work their way through the ranks, eventually becoming something similar to: Apprentice → Corps de Ballet → Soloist → Principal Dancer → Ballet Star Promotions could depend on more than simply filling a performance bar. Sims would need to attend rehearsals, maintain their ballet skill, learn choreography, stay prepared for performances, and successfully perform on stage. Playable Ballet Performances This would be one of the most exciting parts of the pack. Players could actually travel with their Sim to the theater before a performance. The Sim could arrive backstage, change into costume, warm up, practice, interact with the other dancers, receive instructions from the choreographer, and then perform. There could be classic Sims-style things that can go right—or VERY wrong. A dancer might perform beautifully and receive a standing ovation. Another Sim might forget part of the choreography, stumble, arrive late, have a costume problem, become nervous backstage, or have to unexpectedly replace another dancer. Higher-skilled dancers would have a better chance of performing difficult choreography successfully. Ballet Productions There could be several fictional Sims versions of famous styles of ballet productions, with different costumes, sets, choreography, and roles. You could audition for different parts, and getting the leading role would actually feel like an accomplishment. Imagine your Sim spending years training from childhood and finally receiving the lead role in the biggest production of their career. Costumes & Create-a-Sim The Create-a-Sim possibilities could be HUGE. I would love to see: - Leotards - Tights - Wrap skirts - Warm-up clothing - Leg warmers - Ballet slippers - Pointe shoes - Practice tutus - Professional tutus - Performance costumes - Ballet-inspired hairstyles - Hair accessories and tiaras - Children's recital costumes - Men's ballet clothing and costumes There could also be worn-out practice shoes compared with beautiful professional performance shoes. Build/Buy Items A ballet pack could also introduce items for creating a home practice room, ballet studio, or professional academy. Items could include wall-mounted and freestanding ballet barres, full-length studio mirrors, dance flooring, costume racks, rehearsal pianos, benches, lockers, dance bags, trophies, framed programs, ballet posters, stage props, curtains, spotlights, and theater seating. Players could build everything from a tiny neighborhood dance studio to a prestigious ballet academy. Relationships, Rivalries & Mentors Ballet could also create some really interesting storytelling. Your Sim could have a beloved instructor who has trained them since childhood, a best friend they grew up dancing with, a competitive rival who always wants the same roles, or a professional mentor who helps them reach the next level. A Sim might be genuinely happy when their friend earns the leading role—or jealous because they believed the role should have been theirs. Retirement & Teaching the Next Generation The ballet story shouldn't have to end when a Sim's professional performing career ends. Experienced dancers could become ballet teachers, choreographers, studio owners, or mentors. Imagine playing a Sim who started ballet as a little child, became a famous principal dancer, retired, opened their own ballet school, and eventually taught their own child or grandchild how to dance. That is exactly the kind of generational storytelling that makes The Sims so special. I think ballet has enough depth that it could be much more than another skill or career. It could become an entire lifestyle and storytelling system that grows with a Sim throughout their life. I would absolutely love being able to start with a little Sim practicing ballet in their bedroom and eventually watch them step onto the stage as a professional ballerina after years of training. Please consider giving us a true ballet experience in The Sims 4!17Views2likes1CommentIssues creating a character?
Cant find any normal clothes for a male character. Its all weird stuff and girls clothes... Also cant create a normal male for some reason the editor forces male to look weird... What happened to the sims 4. So far im seeing rainbows and its frustrating. And its kinda making me nauseous. I just wanted to create a sim and play a normal life simulator. Like how i used to last year. There are no normal shirts or pants for male guys when i play the game. It made me sick when i was given the option to use a girls bra on my dude. Is this a bug. Or am i gonna have to get my refund. I've already uninstalled the game since there are no outfits for my sim.56Views0likes4CommentsCross platform ownership
I own several sims 4 packs on my Console and I need them on PC. This is an update simmers desperately need, if you ask why I don't just stay on console is because it barely works. There are so many bugs and console players are left in the dark. This is an update that would change everything! Please EA. I beg you also on behalf of the players who are also making the switch between consoles and pc.36Views2likes2CommentsHorse Ranch + Businesses and Hobbies: No animal care activity
Hello, I noticed that if you only own the Horse Ranch expansion, you cannot use the Businesses and Hobbies pack to take care of animals. There is no dedicated activity available, which makes the gameplay feel limited. Right now, the only way to avoid CC items is to manually remove them from the Mods folder and restart the game — which is time-consuming and disruptive to the workflow. A simple CC-free toggle would solve this entirely. The game already tracks which content is CC (it displays the CC icon on items), so the technical foundation for this filter already exists. When the filter is active, all CC items are hidden from catalog lists and search results in Build/Buy and CAS. The CC remains installed and functional — it's just temporarily invisible in the UI. This would be especially useful for builders and players who actively use CC but also create and share content on the Gallery. It's a quality-of-life improvement that many in the community have been asking for. Please consider adding this — it would make the workflow significantly smoother for a large part of the player base.13Views0likes0CommentsBase Game items suggestions
