Sneezy Much
I’m having this weird glitch with my infants quirks. It’s only with the sneezing quirk though. My sim is now a kid and randomly sneezes and glitches into baby form. I keep getting the pop up no matter the tasks he does. I also keep getting this moodlet about milk and he’s a kid. I do have toddler stuff pack, growing together and kids room stuff packs. I have over 35 packs and just started noticing this issues in a newer save file.
Ghosts are stuck
I have an Xbox and I have the dine in pack. At one of my restaurants, they serve Spectral Spritzer It had turned my sims into ghost and it said it was temporary. But my sims have been ghosts for many sim days and I can’t seem to turn it off. I did research and it said it would last 8 sim hours but it’s been a long time. I can’t do anything with my sims besides ghosts interactions. I do not use cheat codes either and I don’t want to start. Plus, I don’t have any sims at the level to make Ambrosia. I don’t have the Life and Death pack.community maker space and pottery
Hi This is a bug- think I've found the cause but wanted to share. I made a community space in glimmerbrook and voted it to be a maker space. When my sim tried to visit it came up with the error that asks you to restart your game, then the lot had a red triangle over as if it was incomplete however all 4 versions were all complete in build mode. On a whim, as it's from a newer pack, I took out the pottery equipment, and swapped it for robotics, and this resolved the error. I haven't tried replicating it, and this save has never had mods.
Does the Necrocall spell even work?
In my game all of the Goth family have passed away except for Bella ( but there are many new children in the family). I also noticed the grave stones for Cassandra and Alexander in the yard so I wanted to resurrect them because I knew they hadn't died of old age. But first I had to move some of these new children off the lot because the family was full with 8 sims. I had a spellcaster come over tne visit and try to call their ghosts out of their resting place with the Necrocall spell. But noting hapened. So I ddn't know if the failure of the spell was due to the family being full already so it couldn't bring back two additional family members or maybe there is just a bug with that spell. So I created a new sim and house across the street and then had two of the adult children move over there and live with the strange guy in that house. I was thinking maybe creating a cult and make all the members where unusual outfits....but I digress. Regardless, even with the openings now in the Goth family I still couldn't get the spell to work and bring the ghosts of Alexander and Cassandra back. Then I would have used the Dedeadify spell to bring them back to the living. I have no idea what happened to Mortimer. He must have died on some other lot.
[AA] Is there a guide to triggering formative moments?
I am trying to get my child sim to achieve all the formative moments, and so far she has 24, but I know that is less than half of them. There are some formative moments that I don't know how to trigger, such as "Be Inquisitive about Health". She has played with the doctor set several times; I even bought a second set, but there is never an option for her to take on this formative moment. When I click on her to get her to "take on a formative challenge", it often says that there are no new ones available for her. Is there a guide somewhere to how each formative moment can be triggered (I'm not talking about how to achieve them once they have been triggered)?Relationship building bug maybe
Hi Simers! I play the Sims four on Xbox one console and the last two days. I’ve noticed that it has been extremely hard to build a relationship in the Sims 4 there could possibly be be a bug. All of my friendly/funny interactions don’t seem to land with other Sims and they get a negative moodlet. Is anyone else experiencing this in the game randomly crashing?Problem with my teen-merman sim
I only noticed this problem a couple days ago, so I am not sure when it exactly started. I am having an issue with self-selecting my male teenage sims ONLY when he is in his mermaid form, the problem being it won't let me select him at all when I am playing as him. The pie menu doesn't even pop up. The weird part is, I have a female adult sim who is also a mermaid, and I have no issues with selecting her while she is in her mermaid form. I am only having problems with him. I got rid of my all my mods to see if they were the issue, and I still cannot select him while in his mermaid form. I also tried repairing my game, and that has done nothing either. Any ideas?Infinite load screen
I'm not getting a last exception or anything every time i try to load into lots this happens. currently trying to go to the willow creek hidden hospital and it gives me infinite load screen. i have repaired the game, I've removed mod folder to get a fresh one. idk why this keeps happening. i don't play vanilla however all mods are up-to date. clearly playing vanilla is also having this issue. this is making my game completely unplayable. i cant make a new save file as my pregnant sim will no longer be pregnant and i cant transfer game saves unfortunately to a clean save...
Toddlers Milestones ...
Sul Sul! So the milestones for Toddlers are still not showing up for Movements and a few other and I have been successfully able to use a mod by TwistedMexi to make the achievement appear, but now I am encountering an issue: This particular household has twins and I think perhaps the cheat code doesn't work because it doesn't know which child to give the achievement to? (though I would have assumed it would have done both, but it is not the case ...) Anybody knows how I can give the achivements to each of my twins at a time (since the second twin hasn't yet reached the max in movement skill, so I want the milestone to show only for the one that has) please? ToKi💜
For Rent Lonely Cluster Mailbox
Hello Everyone, I have a quick question to ask about the For Rent mailboxes. To my understanding these were made to use solely for the rental residential lots. But then I noticed there is a singular mailbox called "Lonely Cluster Mailbox." Can this one be used on any residential lot or does it still require the use of a rental residential lot in order to function properly? Thank you for your help.
For Rent Expansion Pack
I am extremely disappointed in this pack but sadly... not surprised with EA (but very upset) for not even giving me the option of a refund for a pack that is SEVERELY BROKEN, corrupted and buggy to the point the game CAN NOT be played as intended... If anybody sees this I beg you to please DO NOT buy this pack. EA's return policy ensures that you will never get a refund on broken packs because in order to find out they're broken you have to play.... and if you play.... you don't get a refund. I am also angry at the fact that this pack was RELEASED in DECEMBER 2023 and is STILL not working????? 2023!!!!! It is now October of 2025 and the pack is still BROKEN! Why release/advertise the pack when there are SO many issues... and has been broken for 2 years? When I save and close my game... my tenants lease will always reset to 7 days when i go back to play. So i never actually get paid unless I am prepared to sit there for hours until the 7 day lease is up. this makes it impossible to make any progress and makes the for rent pack essentially useless in my personal opinion. I got paid rent ONE time and it was only for 1 day even though it should have been for 7 days. Rent is essentially NEVER collected My game has glitched where my max rent i could collect was $5.00 even thought i had a 5 star rating. I had to switch the lot back to residential... and then back to a rental and my sims no longer owned the rental property after that. So I had to REBUY IT. I have not noticed any issues with build items or CAS... or corrupted saves (yet)... but the packs gameplay does not work. This pack (in my opinion) would have been SO much fun especially since building and designing are some of my favorite parts and I feel if this pack worked it would be one of my favorites... but it has turned out to be the most upsetting since the gameplay is useless at this point in time.
Geekcon Hackathon
Geekcon challenge Hackathon doesn't work but occasionally video gaming challenge does. I have repaired game twice but does stop it freezing up my computer. It causes blank screen but unsure of cause but both problems happen at same time. I just installed new expansion pack Adventure Awaits and been doing the newest freebie challenge. It was worst due to being invited to the Geekcon and not being able to complete request or the blank out and can't save progress so basically lose all prior progress. I won't lie I forget to save regularly when playing same family. It's not my laptop over heating or background programming since any running are the same that have always done. My security protocols are run regularly so don't believe it's the laptop. I don't know what to do game related other than repair. I even deleted any games that were played during that time it started. So far the new start has been doing fine for not blanking out but today the Hackathon didn't work but the computer is show yellow and I could listen to the launch and any other normal computer use. I didn't try the video game systems. Thank you for any help.
Canoeing in Copperdale?
I’ve only just been exploring the neighborhood that comes with Adventure awaits and I’m not super impressed. I would love to build a cottage in Copperdale as it gives those rustic cottage vibes, but can you canoe in the water there? Is it an open water situation? Has anyone explored?Endless Save on Specific Lot After Placing Lot From Gallery
The 40x30 Coorinberg Cottage lot in Windenburg has been giving me an infinite save screen (no crash) after placing gallery lots. I've tried everything to fix it including placing different lots, bulldozing, saving, reloading then placing. Nothing seems to fix it. It always ends in an infinite loading screen. No mods in game of any kind!
