The Sims 4's new update ruined my game.
Ever since this new update for Sims 4 came out i've been unable to continue my current game. My sims and everything else are untouched as far as i can tell, i haven't had a single notification telling me that there was any corruption happening, i can still load into my current save but can't do anything. If i try to play any household i get kicked off the game halfway through the loading screen and told to report an error. I can enter an old save, but most are so old that i would have to start all over again after playing for 1585 hours, so that would be a waste of all the time and effort i put in for this game.Cannot drag items to and from sim’s inventory
Playing on PS5 since the May 12th update I’ve been unable to drag things into my sim’s inventory and out of it. So I cannot drag books into it or move items from one sim to another. This seems to be a grab issue as this also means I cannot grab onto paintings on the easel to move around either the house or into the inventory.Screen not working when going in and out build mode
When going out of build mode the bottom bar doesn't come up and disappears. Going to manage world doesn't fix this either as the screen goes black, going to main menu also doesn't work as the screen goes white. To fix this you have to completely reload the game.Unable to connect online
I know this has been an issue for a while. I've had this issue on and off for a good few months now. But now when I load in I try to connect online but when I do it says that i am unable to as an EA account is not linked. when i go to my settings and press link account it says my account is already linked and to reset. I do so and this cycle repeats. I am unable to access the gallery, events or the marketplace. During one of the events i missed out on gifts because of this exact issue. I've tried resting my game and console, but nothing works. My other games work and it's only the Sims 4 i'm having issues with. So it's like a Sim 4 issue and not an xbox network one. I am also having issues opening the game, almost every time i have to try and load it around 3 or 4 times or load into another game before being able to open and load into the sims 4, unsure if this issue may be related in a way. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Missing Content From Marketplace (Xbox)
I've noticed since the introduction of the marketplace, a few stuff packs are missing from my in game store. No content went missing from my actual game, but I couldn't find the butler pack when I was interested in buying it. There should be 20 stuff packs and 4 don't show up for me, regardless of if there are filters or none. Vintage Glamour Stuff - unowned My First Pet Stuff - owned Moschino Stuff - owned Tiny Living Stuff - owned Also attached photos of how they look on my marketplace. It's not too big of a deal since I can just go grab what I need from the Xbox store, but I'd still like to be able to preview the content to confirm it has stuff I genuinely want before purchase. And I'm not sure what else is possibly missing from the game packs and kits sections. Atp, it'd be awesome if the marketplace could just be removed, it's so wonky and not nice to navigate.
Console Recover Save file
I saw that you could apparently now do this in the patch update and on the discussions things since it gives you steps to do it. its not working, there's nothing that comes up so I assume we haven't actually got this? or is it like really hidden because so far I cant find a way to go back to an older version of a save file? I dont know if we are exactly meant to have it on console but I would assume this is a bug if we are meant to have it?Can’t load a save PS5
I was playing earlier for quite some time I saved and got off the game to do. Something else came back and now when I try to load in and resume my game, it sends me to manage worlds. Then, when I click on my house, it says create new household and move in. I’ve been playing the same for generations now I don’t wanna lose it. What can I do?My whole sims save is gone
My sims generation save has completely gone !!! saying something about Error Code 34!!! Only really old saves are coming up , I can’t believe this I’ve used this generations save for like 2 years !!! I play on XBOX never had this after an update, really hoping I can get it back.Cant load game
Im a sims player on xbox and ive had nothing but issues since the marketplace arrived. Now, i had hopes after the update however it now seems that i cant even get my game to open. I am fed up, absolutely and completely sick to the back teeth, the money i have spent on this game is no joke. I am ready to delete my entire game and never play again. Why are you adding all this new stuff when a lot of us cannot even load our games. I want my money back, every penny because im absolutely disgusted by this. The whole thing is an entire sh*t show. Im sick of it. When are you actually going to fix the problems?Can’t see game passes etc
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue? (PS4) I cannot see anything from the new marketplace update, this is also making an issue because I can’t buy any new expansion packs as I can’t see them 🥹 Ive now updated the new update and seems like it isn’t fixed and I use a disc so I took that out reinserted it, restarted my console etc and nothing. was just wondering if it was just me, something the sims has done or many people are experiencing it?
When is the May 12th base game update going to finish?
I'm on Xbox cloud gaming on Google Chrome and I've been waiting all afternoon since 1pm ET and I haven't noticed anything new yet. What is going on? Is there a timeline as to when this update will be pushed to the servers? Please let me know. Thanks.Help
Since the recent update with the marketplace, I have notice that some of my houses that were saved on the gallery and onto my showcase are no longer there, this also includes part of my sims family who are no longer there either not even in the not placed In world category, some of my houses on lots have vanished also, im no professional but had a decent amount of downloads on these builds and I’d like to know where they are as they are no where to be found, if it helps I’m doing this on a Xbox, regards
