Xbox, Sims 4, completely unplayable. Constant crashing.
Insert 12 pages of expletives. Call the EA team every insult that ever existed ever could exist. Angry violent threats. I just spent the last few hours since about 6:00 until about 12:30 working on a small house. A very realistic structurally sound, priest cottage. Prescott if you will. It look s really good and simple. I was putting the final touches on the building itself before I add the roof and then get to the landscaping. It was something that looked decent that I was happy with. Something I even considered starting a new character just for that it looks that good. I go to save it just in case, during the save immediately it crashed. And I lost all my work. So I'm a little bit more than pissed off. I am in shock I am in depression at this point. And it's your fault. You give people false hope false expectations false advertisement and it really insert 12 more pages of expletives, pisses me off. I haven't seen anyone do my level of work either on a console or a PC, ever. Some people get a little close but when you really look at it it's not even really. Let me give you examples. Do you know that the curtains that don't fit on the windows naturally there's a way to actually make them fit? Do you know you actually can build a house directly underwater? I've got tons of things that I've done that I've not seen anywhere else. Including bioluminescent characters The list goes on and on. So I am very very irritated. One of two things are going to happen. I'm going to post this everyday until someone answers and gives me a viable reasonable rational and logical solution so I won't ever have to go through it again. Or I'm going to tell you to expletive off and say the hell with it and then never again. I literally have almost every DLC and I wish I could have a refund at this point because it's completely not worth it if the game doesn't work. When you have your hopes crushed over and over. I'm a disabled vet and it's a little bit of enjoyment I thought I could have since I can't do things like this in real life anymore. The depression because of EA's BS makes me want to be just as destructive as the game is, just as destructive as EA. I am severely disappointed I literally can't think straight. It's one **bleep** thing after another with this **bleep** game. Lost after loss after loss for year after year after year. I don't think I can take it much longer. My abusive exes was less trouble. At least I could get something out of them. I would rather get into a fight with another five people, last time I did that I won at least. You can't win against this kind of b******* though I can't take it anymore man it's just not f****** worth it. Yes I already know your anti-American and anti-god. You don't care anything for the US Constitution. You honestly would do a favor to the rest of the world if you just close your **bleep** doors and your company goes bankrupt. We wouldn't miss you in general, we would adapt and overcome and those that you have done wrong would feel justified at least. I hear the stories all the time and it's been going on for over a decade. I don't know what hurts worse you hurting me or knowing that you hurt other people. Go bankrupt close your doors so someone was going to at least have closure. Do something different if he actually had good customer service and actually knew how to talk to customers without making them go through all this crap. That would be something different if you would actually respect your customers and put your money where your mouth is like giving them refunds. I think I'm going to tell you to f*** off because I don't care anymore you're not worth my soul. You can't be trusted to do anything right otherwise I wouldn't have to say all this, the same kind of things that everyone else has said that has had any trouble with you. Admittingly you know I'm actually being nice considering all things that can actually be done. I need to go and recollect my thoughts redirect we construct whatever. Thanks for the agony, deceit, manipulation and whatever whatever etc etc what a waste of my time and life. When you look at it for what it really is it shows that you're nothing but a demonic company. I really really really tried to find the good try again and again and again give you guys the benefit of the doubt over and over and over and I just I can't I've got nothing left except just barely to survive the next moment and I'd be damned if I want to give you that.Xbox, multiple issues.
I was told to repost here. Working backwards from the latest issue. Graphics are horrible. It's getting hard to tell where one thing ends and another begins. Frequent crashing. It often takes two or three tries for the game to actually load. When it does finally load it crashes at random times. Doesn't seem to be anything specific. It seems to crash quicker and more frequent than it takes to actually load the game. Loading screens are no less than 5 minutes and so far on average almost 30 minutes. Going from one section to another is on average at least 2 minutes. Missing traits. I use and had one sim for a very long time now. At one point he almost had all the traits. Didn't realize they were gone until recently. I was wondering why he was acting weird. Using console commands to add them back doesn't work anymore. I have almost all the DLC. I have already tried multiple restarts and refreshes. The only thing that had seemed to work the first time I ran into this. Was to delete every lot that I wasn't living on and every Sim that I wasn't using. So A wasteland of a Sim game.
Game looks dull and colors have changed
I FIXED IT!! had to go to manage game and turn off auto HDR was on my Xbox last night and the colors looked fine. I get on today and it’s so grey and dull. I reset my tv setting to be normal but the sims game just looks so bad. My Xbox Home Screen looks normal. The pictures aren’t doing it justice because the phone camera makes it look brighter. When I screen shot it on captures it shows up just like it should look. The needs bars are almost orange and light green
Won’t let me play at all and all saves are gone
when I first click on the game it acts like I’ve never played before, all saves are gone and it gives me a step by step when I need to make a new save. When I try make a new save starting with the household as soon as I click the tick to continue the game freezes then kicks me out. So I can’t enter any worlds, don’t have any of my old saves, can’t make a new game and the game just doesn’t work anymore. someone please help, what is the issue and how can I fix it.
Library saves deleted
A few weeks ago I tried to save something to the gallery and an error came up that said "library storage full" so I deleted one of my gallery saves so there would be space. When I tried to save it now I had space, it came up with another error saying "a gallery error came up", this normally happens so I just didn't save it thinking nothing of it. A few days passed without playing the sims/going on the gallery and yesterday I went on and tried to look at my gallery. Everything is gone apart from the system gallery such as townies and houses. Is there a fix for this where I get my gallery back? Or is everything just gone sadly. I had lots of unfinished sims and houses from the gallery and would be a shame if it was all gone.loading into older saves when hitting play from the main screen
the game for whatever reason recently has been picking a random save file to load into instead of the most recent, so when you hit play to continue what you've been doing the last time you were on you end up like going back in time have to start the game again and go in from loading a save file then load back into the household to get back on track. My sims 4 on Xbox one was loading and the game went to resize and ea agreement popped up. Reloaded game and I have played all of the event for the reward and now they are all missing but the first event that was given to up. I was setting up for the new event when this happened. So the loading screen that claims to adjust the graphics on console pops up during gameplay every time it pops up the graphics and items in game becomes worse saving, traveling, and going into cas can cause this issue as well this been happening to me every since business and hobbies came out please fix this issue I tried everything that I possibly can and nothing works sending me to other sites is no good either it just shows me I’m not alone and that the issue for those who are going through this hasn’t gotten resolved sadlyMy sims are walking into the distance and escaping my clutches
When my sims autonomously needed to use the bathroom they would just walk into the distance and leave the map??? Are they escaping the sims 4 and attaining free will? This happened to my grandma and dad sim so idk what the issue is… going to manage worlds and coming back seemed to work. Also my sims are blurred when not naked? And that portrait from life and death just showed like a really stretched out face of my babysitter for some reason… like…Game is unplayable yet again on CONSOLE
I sincerely cannot play my game anymore. Aspirations dont complete. I can’t invite ANY sims to ANY place even those in my own household. My sims are randomly mean to each other even though they have amazing compatibility and high friendship and love between them. I have spent money on packs and it seems like the more i buy the more broken this game is. And the lack of care to console players is apparent. if anyone can help that’d be appreciated.Console and newest 2025 update
I have an Xbox I believe it's a one x or s? It doesn't have a disc slot I know that much. I decided to update my game after it wouldn't let me play it without the update. Then I get news that this new update is broken and will corrupt save files. What do I do? I press the cancell all button to make absolutely sure the update does not continue in my cue. YOU'D THINK that this just cancells every UPDATE in the cue BUT NO. It completely uninstalled my game and all of my packs for some reason. Now I'm stuck redownloading the game and all of my packs for hours and most likely will be forced to update my game either way. Thanks Xbox you really made a good decision with that one. Anyways, does anyone else have this issue? Maybe any reports on whether or not console saves have been corrupted yet? This seems much more common and talked about with PC players than anything.Game Break after entering CAS
I’d like to start this off with that I play on Xbox. I feel like I won’t be able to properly explain what’s going on but any time I enter CAS from live mode my game starts freaking out. I can’t toggle cursor mode so I can’t actually click anything, if I try to enter the pause menu it pops up but doesn’t actually pause the game (normally background behind the menu potions darkens and it’s not doing that. I can’t save, can’t exit CAS unless I toggle cursor like 6 times and move to the exit CAS. Now once I am finally able to exit CAS the pause menu is still broken. Sometimes when I had this issue from past updates, entering manage worlds would fix it but that just makes the screen go black (world speed and everything else is still there but everything else is black.) I did have cas.fulleditmode active and tried to enter without it active after I had to fully quit my game and it was still an issue. not sure if any of that made sense but if anyone else is having this issue PLEASE tell me how to fix it :)How to delete off lot objects?
I was exploring how right clicking objects can work and set my sim's mailbox as her head. I accidentally clicked the sidewalk in front of her house and the mailbox placed there and now I can't delete it. I tried various ways of getting rid of it and ended up with a second huge mailbox right next to it. How can I get rid of them??Can I transfer my save file from ps4 to pc?
ive been playing on legacy challenge for months now and im on gen4 and it's probably the most effort ive ever put in a family lol. Problem is that im getting rid of my ps4 (that's what I used to play the legacy challenge) and buying a gaming pc. So can I like transfer my save file to my pc? (Btw I saw some ppl suggesting that I upload my Sims on the gallery and download them from there and id really like to avoid that option if possible) and I
