Game Still Crashing
Alright at this point I have tried absolutely everything to fix NHL26 from crashing besides buying a new console. I have two Xbox series X’s due to traveling from different states and had this issue constantly on my original Xbox series X. Every game I play besides NHL runs flawlessly and I cannot say the last time it crashed. From playing hours of MLB I believe I have never once crashed mid game. I ended up buying a new Xbox for my alternate location so I wouldn’t have to pack my Xbox whenever I traveled and it is about 4 months old now and am still having the crashing issue on this game. Tonight I tried to play hut and 2/3 games have crashed. One being in the third period and the other one was 2 minutes into the first period. I have gotten my Xbox’s professionally cleaned, purchased an expansion card, upgraded internet, spent hours on threads and many videos on how to fix this issue, and truly seems there is absolutely no fix. I will not purchase another new console as my other one that is only 4 months old has this problem as well. What I have gathered it is something with an Xbox series X and every other console does not have this issue. Ea has no fix or solution to this so I would advise if you only play NHL do not purchase an Xbox series X as this game is literally unplayable on it. Doesn’t matter what mode you play. Doesn’t matter what you do to try and fix it. It will crash non stop. It is so frustrating as truly any other game you play will run with no issues at all. Just don’t waste your time or money trying to fix it. Nothing will work. This issue has been going on for a few NHL year cycles and still no fix.Cup chase
Second time I’ve gone an undefeated season, made it to the finals and received an error message prior to the game starting or even seeing players on the ice that I’ve gotten an error message, forced to quit the game. Internet connectIon has been fine both times. Sadly I don’t have them on video as first time was a surprise and second time now I had forgotten about the first time. I assure you I have no reason to make this up. Why is a loss just given to you in a matchup against the computer of an error occurs before the puck is even dropped? Please fix this error or don’t base a reward pack on an undefeated season. Always in the finals too. It absolutely crushes the time I invested and you can’t even send an error message. Please, dont give the player a loss vs a cpu if an error occurs before the opening faceoff.
Goalie masks and coins disappearing from collection.
Team Name DNA CHANGE Hut ID 25003 PSN ID xVaDeRsEViLx PS5 I’m very disappointed that every mask I buy from the auction. I lose the mask and the coins I paid for the masks. I buy the mask it’s in the collection I place it in my goalie and I start my game and the mask on my goalie is 100% different then what I bought off the auction and I’m done the game the mask is gone and replaced with 100% different mask then what I bought. And to top it off I lose the coins I just spent on the mask are gone too. please have the devs replace the masks I have bought of the auction house. And to let us all know when this is fixed. So when we buy a mask it’s the one that will show up on our goalies.
Problem franchise freeze and help me EA
Hello, I have been a loyal NHL customer for over 20 years, buying the game every year since the early 2000s. NHL is my favorite sports series, and Franchise Mode is the main reason I purchase it. Unfortunately, NHL 26 currently has a major bug in Franchise Mode that makes it very difficult to enjoy the game. Since this mode is the only one I really play, the issue has made my purchase feel very disappointing. I kindly request either a refund or some form of compensation for this issue, as I feel I did not receive the full product I paid for. Even a discount or credit toward future EA purchases would be appreciated. I truly value the NHL series and hope this issue will be fixed soon. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Referees Are Broken
I made a forum yesterday under a different category and got no response. So this time im hoping to get a response from EA under this section. Anyways here's my point: Dating back to NHL 25 and throughout this year, the refs have felt much worse. In NHL 25, and sometimes in NHL 26, I noticed there were a lot more missed offside calls. But the main reason I am writing is the penalty calls and disallowed goals. If someone replies back, I have 2 videos of a terrible penalty call, and a goal that should not have been washed out. Just overall the refs are ruining some aspects of the game. Penalty calls give teams an advantage and bad calls or missed calls should not be happening. In my last game played, the guy touched the puck before I hit the guy and I got called for interference. So please make a change on these refs as they have felt off dating back to NHL 25. Fix this game already!!!! Same garbage bs as last year with the exact same answer. Can hardly play hut cuz it crashes every 1-3 games or sometimes first game of day. If this isn’t going to be resolved I want a refund cuz it’s unreal this is still an ongoing issue. I have tried everything suggested multiple times don’t make a difference.Poke checks seem bugged, if they aren't, they might need a rework or a tutorial
There are significant moments in EASHL, even with a 6'2 DD, mid-high 90s Stick checking, high strength, elite stick em up or elite NC, I'm seeing poke checks as basically a useless strategy as a D main in a D1 club who regularly reaches Elite (I've tested on a bunch of builds as well). I loved D in the last game except in the case of L2 spam, well L2 spam is almost gone so kudos, but you've demolished the rest of the smart positional D archetype so now I've just been cycling to FWD throughout sessions as to not lose my mind. A detailed list of poke issues: The punishment for poking is way too severe, even if I do get extremely get lucky and a poke works, my guy is so broken after that the 5000 fwds with wheels will just get the puck back anyway, so it's a useless strategy for D in most cases. Stick lifting falls into this category, it can trigger but the FWD kits are too good to make it viable due to the punishment you get for executing the lift. Without stick em up, even with high stats on a good d build, throwing a poke out looks like I'm under pressure, the animation is so goddamn slow that anyone with any semblance of reflexes can EASY work around it. If me and the FWD are face to face in medium range, I can poke the puck and have many moments of collision and actually hear the stick check sound repeating over and over again, and no animation cue is happening showing they are losing the puck, they never actually lose the puck in the end. If the FWD is breaking past me and I successfully poke and the blade of my stick makes collision with the blade/puck, same thing, tons of sound cues and no animation cues that a poke has taken place, the FWD will never lose the puck no matter how much audio indicates a poke should have happened. These issues frequently result in goals and really makes playing D suck. Poking successfully when face to face sometimes just pops the puck up in the like half a foot off the ice and the FWD will ALWAYS get it back, even if I have elite NC. When poking when off foot, speed bursting or turning, my guy will just fall over sometimes, this is just another thing making pressing the poke check button, a staple in NHL D play just a really sketchy feeling strategy. I've made an effort to smoothen my inputs compared to last game but it makes no difference in the end because of all the other issues affecting the pokes, it's not worth it. Sometimes you can get a perfect poke and your stick basically collides with the blade & puck of the FWD and your stick stops dead in it's tracks, like there's a force field around their stick. When I play fwd and I'm face to face with a D i can just casually go left, right, left, right on the right stick and I can literally see them freaking out poking and colliding with my stick and absolutely nothing happens. Poke checks seem to be easier to execute in the neutral zone for FWDs on other FWDs, I think it's just because wheels might not have proc'd yet, or they haven't chosen a side to stick handle on, but as soon as a FWD doesn't want to be poked, he can't be no matter what. As a result of this I've changed my D builds to be a lot like a power fwd and I go on rushes, we play 6s like 3s and it's terrible hockey. I use NC and truck, I've never been a truck player, I've always been the best on my team at pokes and clean Lidstrom style d play using pokes and position and now it seems impossible. The only viable strategy is really lame big hits out of position high risk trash, or I just switch to FWD, which is crazy based on long I've been playing only D. If I'm missing something, please enlighten me. I've tested so many different things with it and it's not usable in game against a bunch of players with Wheels, Warrior, Big Rig, etc. I'm not sure if they are bugged or wrongly tuned or just fundamentally implemented to be a different game mechanic than all other NHL games, but maybe you should tell people wtf is going on. In conclusion, an entire beloved archetype of hockey, the smart positional D man has been kitted out of the game.HUT BUG ISSUE
There is a glitch we’re any time I put in or take out a new / old player the x factors I hav available on specific players sometimes come off. For example my 84 zdeno chara has truculence X factor on and when I put in a new card for a different card in my team sometimes multiple X factors would be removed from certain players and placed on different player I don’t need X factors on. And my hut champs record won’t show up. Does any one else have these problem if so please tell me
Consistent Failure to Record Wins in Cup Chase Mode
Platform: Xbox Series S I've experienced a recurring and significant bug where completed wins in the Cup Chase mode are not being credited to my account. This has now happened on five separate occasions. Bug Description / Steps to Replicate: Play a full game of Cup Chase and win. After the game ends and the final stats are shown, the game returns to the menu. Upon checking, the win has not been registered. Consequences: The game is recorded as a loss. No coins are awarded for the match. No EXP is gained. No progress is made in the mode. A one-off server glitch is understandable, but having this happen five times points to a deeper problem. This is actively discouraging me from playing the mode. I'm hoping this report can help get the issue investigated and resolved. Thank you.
Ready dont work
When i play chel in the loby, if all team members are presed ready and locked in, then if i decide to change my position/loadout i do that, if needed. But can not get back in lobby in the ready state. It just shows my loadouts and positions. After making changes it the lodout/position option dosent disapear. And i am stuck in this position. And can not get back past the position/loudout screen/option menu.NHL 26 Crashing
I’m currently in franchise mode and I like to play the games manually. I have a few created players in the franchise mode as well, but no created teams. The game won’t even let me get through the first period of the first game of the 25/26 season without crashing. I simmed pass the first game and I’m still having issues with the second and third games of the season. I’m a big fan of the game, I’ve been playing since NHL 13 and this is the first time I’ve experienced this issue. Not sure if it’s a bug or if there’s something wrong with my copy of the game. I play on Xbox series x and bought the digital version of NHL 26.Stuck on salary perks in be a pro
I somehow went over budget during the off season and now when the perks pop up, I have no way of moving on. I have one active perk that I cant cancel because it’s a year long. I literally can’t play the game or do anything. it won’t let me add a video for some reason, but no button I press allows me to leave the perks menu and continue playing. When I restart the game, same issue every timeCustom Roster Download Broken on PS5
EA_Aljo I am completely unable to get NHL 26 custom rosters to work on PS5 if they involve a lot of players. I downloaded 3 rosters, one that adds one player, and two that add quite a few. Only the one that adds one player works; the other two show that there are "no created players" in the creation zone. I have tried every method I can to get these rosters to work, but they refuse to. My only guess other than it just being completely broken is that I am using the 10 hour EA Play trial before the launch next week, and maybe the rosters were made by people who bought the deluxe edition. Either way, this is incredibly frustrating.
