WoC Load Bug
I received a temporary PlayStation Network communications ban (7 day mute) a few weeks back which isn't really an issue since I don't talk or really send messages anyway (and I can just use the integrated Discord lol), but I noticed WoC specifically refused to work. I could play other EA titles like Battlefield 6, Split Fiction (whose whole shtick is communication co op), and Dead Space which at one point collected voice data for a promotional video showcasing scare reaction moments, and even head straight into HUT, but the initial load screen leading into WoC caused a "crash" of sorts. When you have these types of mutes, you get a pop up message informing you to "check your settings and to ask for permission from a parent/guardian, or I guess you just straight up have a ban? Woah that's crazy" (thanks for the laugh, PSN). Anyway, in most other titles and games this popup usually shows up at the main menu. For HUT it shows up when loading in but can be easily dismissed. In WoC specifically, this popup happens during the initial load into the HUB but unlike HUT, when you exit out, it causes the load to stop and quits you back to the main NHL 26 menu, effectively blocking you from entering so you can't even change jerseys and stuff. 100% reproducible
NHL 26 keep crashing
I am experiencing constant crashes when playing NHL 26 on my PlayStation 5. The game crashes repeatedly and has become completely unplayable. I have already tried deleting and reinstalling the game multiple times, restarting my PS5, and checking for both system and game updates, but the issue still happens every time I start or play the game. This is extremely frustrating, and I paid for a product that currently does not work at all. I expect this to be fixed as soon as possible.AI Defense broken
I have commented on several posts about this. My friends and I are long time NHL fans that have been playing this game from the beginning. The AI defense in CHEL has gotten worse every year for the last couple of years. This year it is plain BROKEN. I watch as players skate right around or through the defensive players. The AI players do nothing. Not a stick extension, a hit, or a movement that would cause the human player to adjust their movement. We have made adjustments to the AI set up for our Squad and this has led to nothing different. It just seems like some games they are completely broken. I have read several comments from EA responding to this and those comments just infuriate me as I am sure it does others. I have seem them saying that we should make sure that a human player is playing defense or maybe we should make sure that if we are playing offense one person should always play back. OMG. This is supposed to be the best simulation Hockey game on the market. I don't believe that a wing would play back to help defense because they are not doing their job. Please fix this. It gets worse every year and this year is the absolute worse. There are human players that just make this their goal in the game. Skate down the side or right up the middle past the broken AI (cherry picking) and score easily. IT takes the simulation out of the game and makes it an ARCADE game. This is not what we are paying for. FIX the game. I know you are short staffed. Maybe take somebody off of the pack market and put them on this fix. As these pictures show, some teams do not have a well-matching color theme for the goalie equipment. It’s pretty annoying in BAP because we can’t edit them ourselves. I don’t remember Vegas ever having the correct autogenerated colors since they were added to the game, and it seems like Seattle has the same problem. I’m not sure why the Mammoth, as a new team, have good colors while Seattle and Vegas do not. I also don’t understand why Dustin Wolf has a black and red set either.
Wild slap shots - anyone else experiencing this?
Post the last patch has anyone experienced your player (when skating towards the net or stationary) taking a slap shop and having it go wildly away from the net? Slice or hook in golf terms. Occasionally if another player happens to be in the path, they will try to deflect it towards the net. But it's more like bumper pool at that point. Thanks!
CHEL computer defense
Please fix the computer defense in CHEL. So many posts about the terrible play of ai defense in chel. Glitch goals galore, momentum on stupid defense giving up turnovers in the zone, getting constantly burned for breakaway glitch goals, terrible decision making scoring on your own goal even if they skate close to the goalie, and crazy uneven match making. So frustrating! Want to play this game and have fun with friends online with our team, but after a few tries same thing happens...we get frustrated yelling at the computer D and a go to another game.My own teammates betrayed me
Hi I would like to say this, it would be really nice if while I played that the ai played like an actual team on my side and not in a midget b team. It would also be nice if you could fix the controls because I am have issues with my passes and all I seem to do is pass right on the other teams stick. Just letting you know I have been playing your nhl games sense a kid and never had so many issues just trying to enjoy it. I am at the point where I want a refund because it is no fun playing with guys that willingly seem to score on your net.EASHL AI worst I've seen in Years
Idk what EA has done but this years EASHL AI is the absolute worse I've ever seen. The defensive AI is constantly out of position, always leaves the defence even when set to stay back and defend. Always caught flat footed, delayed passing when asking for it. Delayed reactions when looking for an open player to pass to which then creates turnovers because the AI just looks blankly into space, gets hit and turns it over in the defensive zone which 9 times out of 10 leads to a goal. Starting a be a pro career breaks the selected default EA roster, not just custom rosters but rosters in general, started a be a pro career with the Oct EA roster, only to get to the nhl to find rosters are still broken, after starting a be a pro career go to active rosters and see 0 selected active rosters, attempting to select the roster you had active when starting a be a pro career prompts you to redownload that roster
Controlling the player character is not working
Hey, has anyone else noticed that when playing, guys just stay in place out of nowhere even though there's a puck on the platform and then they automatically protect the puck with their sticks?I tried it in another game and the controller works normally. Is this a bug? It happens in wild card, rivals, champs and cup/hut moments.Camera Angle issue (UTAH Arena)
In be a pro fixed camera mode, as soon as the camera lowers towards defensive zone (the goalie zone), the camera slides back down the arena and it ends up going through the stands platform (that arena has kind of an advertising structure). I feel like the camera is not set properly to not go that further back compared to other arenas that don’t have that structure. The problem is that by the camera being too fat back and going through the stands “rendering” , the camera films behind the stands hence blocking the whole gameplay, the front of the structure is displayed in the whole screen blocking everything. Not sure if it’s clear but hope it helpsHUT slow and won’t update
This started about a week or two ago. Sometimes it will let me in and other times just spinning wheel. I have done all the things. Deleted the game, shut down PS5, reconnected internet, deleted saved files, etc. this is my only game that seems to have an issue with the internet connection. and if I do get in to hut it moves super slow.Audio and menu bugged
Don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but in game audio like shots, passes and hits seem totally bugged and distorted. Tried booting up into franchise mode this morning and trying to select a jersey to play a game just cycles through at crazy speed, won't allow me to go through one at a time. Anyone else have anything similar happen? The crazy speed did not just apply to the jersey screen I cant even select what I what in the in-game pause menu.
