Issue #1: Franchise Mode Bug When I play Franchise Mode, the game consistently crashes after three games. I’m using Toronto, and the issue always occurs during the second game of a back-to-back against Detroit (the grudge match). The game freezes completely—you can’t do anything and are forced to close it. When you reload the save, the same crash happens again, making the file unusable. This bug repeats every time I start a new file, making Franchise Mode unplayable. Issue #2: Be a Pro – Stamina System I really appreciate the direction you’re taking with Be a Pro—it’s clear you’re trying to add realism by making players feel fatigued during tight games. However, the current stamina system makes the mode nearly impossible to enjoy. The weekly energy refill of just 5 points isn’t nearly enough. I’ve played 20 games, and in 11 of them, my player had completely empty stamina. When stamina is gone, the player moves so slowly that you can’t do anything. You get knocked around like a ragdoll, and all the fun is stripped away. As someone who only plays offline, I currently can’t enjoy either Be a Pro or Franchise Mode. I’m honestly starting to regret paying extra for early access. Please fix these issues so I can actually play the gameCustom Roster Download Broken on PS5
EA_Aljo I am completely unable to get NHL 26 custom rosters to work on PS5 if they involve a lot of players. I downloaded 3 rosters, one that adds one player, and two that add quite a few. Only the one that adds one player works; the other two show that there are "no created players" in the creation zone. I have tried every method I can to get these rosters to work, but they refuse to. My only guess other than it just being completely broken is that I am using the 10 hour EA Play trial before the launch next week, and maybe the rosters were made by people who bought the deluxe edition. Either way, this is incredibly frustrating.Stuck on salary perks in be a pro
I somehow went over budget during the off season and now when the perks pop up, I have no way of moving on. I have one active perk that I cant cancel because it’s a year long. I literally can’t play the game or do anything. it won’t let me add a video for some reason, but no button I press allows me to leave the perks menu and continue playing. When I restart the game, same issue every timeGame Still Crashing
Alright at this point I have tried absolutely everything to fix NHL26 from crashing besides buying a new console. I have two Xbox series X’s due to traveling from different states and had this issue constantly on my original Xbox series X. Every game I play besides NHL runs flawlessly and I cannot say the last time it crashed. From playing hours of MLB I believe I have never once crashed mid game. I ended up buying a new Xbox for my alternate location so I wouldn’t have to pack my Xbox whenever I traveled and it is about 4 months old now and am still having the crashing issue on this game. Tonight I tried to play hut and 2/3 games have crashed. One being in the third period and the other one was 2 minutes into the first period. I have gotten my Xbox’s professionally cleaned, purchased an expansion card, upgraded internet, spent hours on threads and many videos on how to fix this issue, and truly seems there is absolutely no fix. I will not purchase another new console as my other one that is only 4 months old has this problem as well. What I have gathered it is something with an Xbox series X and every other console does not have this issue. Ea has no fix or solution to this so I would advise if you only play NHL do not purchase an Xbox series X as this game is literally unplayable on it. Doesn’t matter what mode you play. Doesn’t matter what you do to try and fix it. It will crash non stop. It is so frustrating as truly any other game you play will run with no issues at all. Just don’t waste your time or money trying to fix it. Nothing will work. This issue has been going on for a few NHL year cycles and still no fix.Gameplay sliders not saving/loading in game
Hi, This is unfortunately a classic bug in the game but the games gameplay sliders presets (customizing the gameplay, skating etc) do not save when you click on play next game (in be a pro). It gives you the 3 options of game length but it was previously fixed in the past year by adding custom to then be able to load your custom gameplay sliders. The only way to have the gameplay sliders loaded into the game is to simply the game and Jump in mid game. Now I have to redo all the settings before eveygrame… Can we please have this fixed asap as it’s a real pain in the **bleep**!Game breaking bug in Franchise Mode
In my Franchise Mode, I finished the last game in November and tried to sim to next game at start of December but nothing happens. I can't go down in the menus or leave the game mode. Nothing. I tried to load the save again and still the same issue. I loaded an earlier version of the save and also the same problem. This has to be fixed because right now, I can't continue on my Franchise Mode!No access to the salary perks or to calendar in be a pro
There is no menu option to access salary perks in be a pro. That menu randomly popped up once but not able to access it again as it’s not under any other tab in the be a pro home screen. Also, there seem to be another bug where we can no longer access the calendar in be a pro to see when are the upcoming games especially with the new energy feature that needs to be managed but only gets replenished once every week l
Goalie masks and coins disappearing from collection.
Team Name DNA CHANGE Hut ID 25003 PSN ID xVaDeRsEViLx PS5 I’m very disappointed that every mask I buy from the auction. I lose the mask and the coins I paid for the masks. I buy the mask it’s in the collection I place it in my goalie and I start my game and the mask on my goalie is 100% different then what I bought off the auction and I’m done the game the mask is gone and replaced with 100% different mask then what I bought. And to top it off I lose the coins I just spent on the mask are gone too. please have the devs replace the masks I have bought of the auction house. And to let us all know when this is fixed. So when we buy a mask it’s the one that will show up on our goalies.No playtime in be a pro
I am playing be a pro. Was drafted to NHL, then sent down to AHL then back to NHL. After getting sent back to the NHL, I have had 3 minutes of playtime collectively in 20 games. Literally just spent the last hour simming games hoping I could maybe get 15 seconds of playtime. It just sims to the end of the period every single time. I paid $120 for this game and I can’t even play because all I am doing is going menu to menu to menu. This is a very frustrating experience. I am about to get sent back down the the AHL AGAIN because I can’t fulfill any challenges because I literally get 0 playtime each game.
Problem franchise freeze and help me EA
Hello, I have been a loyal NHL customer for over 20 years, buying the game every year since the early 2000s. NHL is my favorite sports series, and Franchise Mode is the main reason I purchase it. Unfortunately, NHL 26 currently has a major bug in Franchise Mode that makes it very difficult to enjoy the game. Since this mode is the only one I really play, the issue has made my purchase feel very disappointing. I kindly request either a refund or some form of compensation for this issue, as I feel I did not receive the full product I paid for. Even a discount or credit toward future EA purchases would be appreciated. I truly value the NHL series and hope this issue will be fixed soon. Thank you for your understanding and support.
