Be a pro won’t let me continue due to salary perks!
I am currently in the Stanley cup finals in my first season of be a pro. I am playing on ps5. While simming between games the salary perk window popped up and showed that I’m over budget. I removed all I could, however there is one perk it won’t let me remove it is the “scent creator” for $175000. It won’t let me remove it and is leaving me at $80,000 spent and only $47,376 available. Due to this it will not allow me to continue with my be a pro due to being “over budget”. This is very upsetting because like I said I am in the middle of my first Stanley cup final in be a pro and now all of a sudden I cannot continue. i have attached a photo. I really hope I am able to continue and not have to start over again as I have no older save I can go back to. thank you
Equipment manager is for Utah.
Has anybody else noticed when your player on your team? Let’s say gets their first career goal and the puck is thrown to the equipment manager that equipment manager has the Utah hockey club logo on their jacket and not your teams logo? Again, I’m no game developer, but I would think that would be an easy little fix. Also, I’ve noticed the Anaheim ducks goalie mask is on every goalie that is the replacement during the game. Is there a way to fix that as well?Nhl 26 is a joke
This game is so badly bugged. Worst teams with lower overall players are out playing me and out skating me. The goalie situation is even worse. I refuse to spend money within the game because its a joke. I go o n 0 then lose 15 to teams worse than me? Tell me how in the hell is that possible?Franchise mode lost roster
So I've played a season and a half with my roster and played a lot of the games, I had some of the best rookies through meticulous trading. One day I hopped on and I lost all of the rookies and some of my star players as well and when I go to saved it's all kind of bugged cuz it all says I played them at the same time which I did not. Anybody else have this issueCrash during hut game
The game crashed when I wanted to call timeout. Something went wrong with this game was the error message. I sent a report. I do not understand, why it counted as a loss if it was not my fault. The objectives were not counted, but I have an L and lost rank and winning streak. This sucks
World of CHEL account name bug... last straw
There's a regularly occurring bug where you randomly see incorrect player account names in World of CHEL. That is a BIG problem, because there's no shortage of bad players and even idiots that straight up teamkill on purpose and everyone with even a modicum of brain-cells will want to avoid such. Well, when the 'random account name bs' lands on one of these players, it's insufferable. You might start a ranked game with an idiot that just teamkills outright, or you might mistake some actually respectable/good player for a bad apple because it randomly shows their account name on the undesirable. Last time it happened (within the past hour), it showed the incorrect account name everywhere, then I opened the EA connect current party tab when the bad apple was still in the same session and when it loaded, it showed the correct account name for an instant and then it switched back to the incorrect one! Something in the same vein has happened in some past games, but it's been very rare and hasn't really been a problem until now! Now it's getting ridiculous! This needs to be fixed once and for all asap and ought to not show up in NHL 27 or going forward. Dunno if it's version specific or whatever. I play on a PS5.High ping issues, looking for suggestions.
So I've been playing NHL since about 2010, and have played pretty much every game mode throughout the years, ultimately settling on EASHL as the main. A few years ago I thankfully switched internet providers from Spectrum to AT&T fiber and immediately had the best connection I've ever played on. Then about 8 months ago I started noticing my ping on every server went up by about 20-30 ms. I play in online leagues and have dabbled a bit in esports, so the change in connection started killing my motivation to play. I've talked to AT&T countless times to troubleshoot, had a tech come out in person and change out all the hardware, messed around with DNS settings, router settings, pretty much everything I can think of. Then a few weeks ago one of the AT&T customer support guys changed a couple settings and I noticed my ping went back to normal on the East (Virginia) server, but on Central and QC my ping is still 20-30 higher than normal, getting anywhere from 65-70 on central and 90-95 on QC. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had similar experience and if they found a fix, because it's driving me crazy trying to figure out what changed after years with no issues. I always play on ethernet and have a 1GB internet plan. At this point I don't know if it's an ISP issue or something I can change in my settings on my Xbox Series X or something that changed with the NHL servers. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. For reference my ping in the past was always 46-48 on both East and Central, and always about 60 on QC.Salary perks - impossible to switch off - stuck
Hiya, Playing BaP mode, with salary perks on auto and now I'm stuck with 2 long lasting ones that are over available funds but that I simply cannot switch off, blocking me from going to continue onward to game #2 of the Stanley Cup final. Have I just wasted my time playing all 82 regular season games + playoffs just to lose it all here because of that messed-up feature ? That's so freaking annoying. It has been almost 2 months since this issue has come to EAs attention and still no fix. After successfully completing the stay on PP1 challenge it immediately starts you in the same challenge for the next 8 games. Be a pro is so boring doing the same challenges over and over this needs to be fixed.Small gameplay issue
Recently noticed a small bug with the gameplay. It happens in most modes and difficulties (I havent tried ones™️ or threes™️ yet). Unfortunately, the ai seems to be about 15 years out of date and not capable of stopping the rush at all. You can just skate past them every time. They will stop 80% of the dekes you do, though. This is not an enjoyable gameplay choice, nor does it teach new players how to play against actual human beings (or have fun). Game is super luck-based. Also not fun. Goalies routinely make insane post to post saves, yet will let every point shot in. There is no fix, i do not expect a response to this post from any ea community manager, because your team is incapable of fixing these issues. It would require you guys to make a new video game, instead of shoveling gameplay mechanics onto the rotting corpse of a 12 year old game. The new team came in with a year head start a while back, and that was the worst one yet lmfao. Also the menus are a joke. So horribly optimized its actually funny that yall ship the game this way year after year. Hoping a CM or someone from the community team can help escalate this — I've burned through every troubleshooting step I can find and I'm out of options on my end. Setup: Platform: PlayStation 5 Games affected: Madden NFL 26 and NHL 26 (both fail identically) PS Plus: active Connection: Wi-Fi, working normally for everything else Symptoms: Both Madden 26 and NHL 26 fail to connect to EA servers. The games launch fine and work in offline modes, but anything that requires EA server connection fails. PSN itself is working — every other app, game, and online service on my PS5 connects without issue. The problem is isolated to EA's services on these two titles. What I've already tried: Full power cycle of PS5 (held power button until it shut down completely, unplugged 60+ seconds) Full power cycle of router (unplugged 60+ seconds, waited for full reboot) Manual DNS change on PS5 to 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 Verified EA server status page — both titles show green Verified at ea.com → Account Settings → Connections that my PSN ID is correctly linked to my EA account Game restarts, console restarts, multiple attempts across the day Attempted to reach a live advisor via help.ea.com — NextStep bot loops without exposing a contact option for this topic What I need: A backend account check, or confirmation that something's flagged on EA's side affecting my account specifically. Since both EA titles fail identically while everything else on my console works, this looks like an account- or service-side issue rather than something I can fix on my end. EA Account email and PSN ID available via DM if a CM can pick this up. Thanks in advance.
