Hello, I want to report a major gameplay problem that started right after the latest mandatory update on PS5. Before the update, the game felt excellent — smooth, responsive, challenging, and realistic. After the update, the gameplay changed dramatically and became extremely unbalanced. Here are the main issues: 1. My AI defensemen barely react. They stand still, do not step up, and almost never hit. CPU skates through them easily. 2. CPU defense is unrealistically strong. Their checks land perfectly, while mine rarely work. 3. CPU intercepts almost every pass. Even clean passes get picked off with “magnet-like” stick animations. 4. CPU scoring is heavily boosted. Almost every shot is dangerous or ends as a goal, while scoring myself is very difficult. The gameplay no longer feels fair or realistic. It now feels stiff and outdated — nothing like the great gameplay that existed before this update. Please review this tuning change. Offline modes (Be A Pro, Franchise) are currently very frustrating, and this happened only after the latest patch. Thank you. I am reporting a critical "Server/Client Sync" bug that caused me to lose a Master Set Player I had earned. The Issue: In the final minutes of the Spotlight event, I had earned all required collectibles. However, the Set menu refused to recognize them. The "Cards Available" count would not update, and the "Auto-Fill" feature failed to find the assets that were clearly in my collection. Impact: Because the game failed to sync my inventory in time, the event timer expired, and I was physically prevented from redeeming the content I spent hours grinding for. Sometimes in Be A Pro mode, when I hop in mid game when I simulated part of the game my team or opponent team has empty net at the faceoff. It isn't because time is running out or needs for a goal because it can happen anytime and at any score. Also penalties weren't called. I haven't noticed this in any other game modes.In my 4th year and Captaincy disappeared
I’m in my 4th year in Be A Pro, and playing on Pro settings. , At the beginning of the year, I was made captain. In year 3, our team won the Stanley Cup and I was MVP of the league. I also got a max contact over 13 Million a year. In the 35th game of the 4th season, I noticed that the C was removed. I read in other discussions that people were awarded the captaincy in the first year due to Teammate and Mgmt being maxed, but that is not the case with me. We are currently in first place in our division, and I am leading the team in points and goals so poor performance is not the case. Any ideas or any fixes to get back the Captaincy. I checked and there is no “discussion with the coach/manager” to get it back. ThanksOffline Threes Subs - Subs not Working
Hi EA. There is a lasting bug that I know of since Chel 24. When playing offline 1v1 Threes against someone beside you on the same console and you try to sub out a player, there is a higher than 50% chance that the player does not switch out. Between periods, when hovering an active player, Pressing Square/X to quick Sub with one of the two players on the bench, there is a very high change that the requested switch does not occur, the original player will stay on the ice. There is slightly more success if pressing X/A to scroll to the player you want to sub. Sometimes the intro/animation of the player coming in will happen, but its not actually them and the original player is still on the ice. When the period ends and you're back into the selection page, the subbed player will be showing as in the game, but they are not. Its essentially impossible to change any player after that as everyone is (a majority of the time) soft locked into playing no matter how many times you sub him out by either doing the Square/X method or the X/A method. This is extremely frustrating to play with. Subbing your players during intermissions basically DOES NOT work (a lot of the time, not every time).New Be A Pro still needs improvements
There was a new gameplay update which fixed some issues on be a pro mode (which I play alot.) But there is still some features I would like to be fixed/added. For example for me it seems impossible to grow some of my player's stats like acceleration, agility and balance is impossible to get over 90. I have used my trait points to grow these to 90 and all of them are on max level but it won't grow naturally and I can't updgrade these stats from salary perks because none of those has these. Also it's very frustrating when my player's attributes drop due a low health and I have to go to the "activities" section after almost every game to boost my health . This would be that bad if X-Factors didn't have requirements, like elite edges, agilty 89+ and when I simulate or play even one game, some of my stats have dropped below the requirement and it won't let my use the X-Factor untill I go to boost my health again. This happens almost every game and it's extremely annoying and just waste of time. Also about X-Factors why there is so few of them available for certain player styles playmaker for example. And for power forward there is a lot more of them, like quick draw is available for power forward player style, but not for playmakers, which makes no sense. Also, the feature when the cooach gives you the same challenge "stay on powerplay 1" yet and yet again, even though I'm 96 overall and scoring points top 5 in the league. I understand this might keep the regular season a bit more active for the player but it's still so meh to do the same challenge after 8 games. Some smaller things: When I was a free agent and 90 overall, I got offered 15 million a season. Isn't that a bit too high for 90 I would appriciate if you would listen and do something about this. As the title says, since the latest patch release, I noticed that whenever my CPU opponent takes and kills off a penalty, the players stay on the ice until their is a stoppage in play. In once instance I had players stay on for 10 minutes of game time, even after several clears and dumps into their offensive zone.
“Can’t connect to EA servers”
Occasionally run into an issue where my game won’t connect to the servers. In 25, I would usually resolve it by signing back into my EA account again, and go back into HUT. There doesn’t seem to be that option this year, and having to either reboot the console (or load 25 while I still have GamePass) isn’t a great option either. Suggestions?Broken pack descriptors
When the Cyber Monday packs dropped they were initially that mess of characters but no actual info... Stupidly I purchase the 112k coin one thinking at worst it was some UT 84+ cards I could exchange. Of course it was 5 useless BND cards. And support said they would not refund the coins despite the issue being their broken info on release. 112k in game coins... And it ensured not one more $ of real money will be spent by meLast 3 spotlight collectibles won't load properly in the inbox
I'm not trying to lose these last 3 collectibles because of the broken sets or animations. There needs to be a serious uptick in the quality of work performed at EA sports NHL. This shouldnt be happening still 4 months in to the game cycle. Attached a video to see but like seriously boys, you guys gotta do better.
BAP active purchases BROKEN (BUG won't allow you to move forward!)
Appreciate the 12/1/ 2025 update however: In BAP if you go overbudget on purchases that last more than 30 days, you can't exit the purchase screen and you can't deactivate. This means YOU CAN NO LONGER PLAY BAP. What happens is: User purchases something they CAN afford and either sets to auto or manual renew Based on budget provided, user runs out of funds for items purchased Upon playing or simming until next renewal, user is asked to deactivate items over budget If the item goes past the renewal period, the user can neither deactivate the purchase nor move past the screen In effect the user can no longer use this BAP save (unless the bug is fixed) Playstation 5, up to dateCup chase frozen again
Very first game after the patch and my most common problem strikes again. I understand ea doesn’t consider NHL a major title or profit maker but it can be pretty insulting paying such an inflated price for a game that feels unfinished. I would expect all the major bugs to be fixed at the very least. I wish the franchise would finally go to a developer that will make the fan base feel important and not like they’re being taken advantage ofProblem with be a pro
In be a pro mode you can improve your player with salary benefits. When this comes up about once a month. After about one season played this comes up normally but i can’t save my changes. I try to close the game and close whole playstation but i can’t go over it. So now i can’t proceed at all because every time when i come to this i have to restart the game.
