Sims cc gone but still in mod folder
Hello! I just got my Sims running again and I tested it out with my custom content before adding updated mods. I realized that I am missing a good chunk of my cc such as skin details, makeup, hair, accessories, clothing, furniture, etc. I still have the cc in my mod file as I kept everything the same (minus a new save file). I don't know if it has anything to do with the new update but I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
Trying to create seasonal festivals
I would like to create my own seasonal festivals in the sims 4. I am looking for mods and cc that provide seasonal activities and/or foods. Also, does anything exist to help create festivals? I figured I would just use a custom lot type but if anyone knows a way to make this work please share your experiences. Thanks 😊
Maybe a useful tool/mod for automated 50/50
I found a new mod, Simsweep, a tool that will do 50/50 automatically for you to find the broken mod/cc that keeps your game from launching. You may have to do several rounds of it from what I can tell. No more manual cc adding/removal. I think it is great and free. I recommend backing up your files before doing this as always.I Got My game to work !!
I was just able to open my game, for the first time in 2 days. Seems like everything is there. All my mods and CC's. I updated the "breast slider v3" https://www.patreon.com/posts/default-breast-96592682 Also i deleted the "Main Menu override" i had. Then i did a repair of the game AGAIN 😂 Now it's working Again , check if any mods, defaults, overrides, whats so ever, is updated!
Note to New Players Experiencing Problems
I am noticing quite a few new players posting and thought I would post some helpful info incase you haven't seen posts like this before. If you haven't opened your game yet, don't! Go into your EA folder-->Sims--->Saves. Copy everything from your saves and back it up somewhere else (e.g. your desktop, online drive, or external hard drive). This will preserve your data pre-update. If you HAVE gone into your game or do choose to go into your game, whatever you do, DO NOT save your game if you are missing content or experiencing issues. If you haven't saved anything after the update, do the same as above. If you do have access to your game and you want to play, I highly suggest not touching your current saves, start a new save until all issues are confirmed fixed. This can be a good time to build without CC and if you like anything you have built, you can save it to your gallery to then place in a save you are actively playing when things are fixed. If you do not have access to the game and want to play, move everything out of your mods folder and you will have access, just without CC/Mods. I recommend doing the above mentioned in this case.
Looking For Mod - No Automatic Animosity between Fairies and Spellcasters
Like the subject says I'm looking for a mod that does away with the automatic animosity between Fairies and Spellcasters. I feel certain I've seen it out there in the world but I can't find it now. Does anyone know of such a mod? Thanks in advance.

SulSul! Does anyone have any experience in playing with both of the Mods in game? I would love to use both because they both have great features the other mod doesn’t add and look very maxis (I’ve already considered SNB but it looks to Alpha-y for my liking) I would love to have detail about how your game behaved and if they implemented into each other in any way or if it was all over the place or even broke your game (as that is my biggest fear lol) Thank you for everyone who is willing to share their experience and happy simming!
Gallery corrupted
Hello, i’ve been having issues with the gallery for as long as i can remember. It doesn’t load. All i see is red x’s. When i click on an item it loads for a long time then the error: ‘Item corrupt. Would you like to remove it?’ When i click on yes it loads again then shows: ‘server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later.’ i’ve tried everything! Without mods it doesn’t load. Deleting localthumbcache doesnt work. Emptying the tray folder doesn’t work. I’ve already deleted the sims 4 and EA before. i’ve had my laptop connected to an internet cable before. It doesn’t work on my moms, dads or my own internet, so i dont think its an internet issue. I cant seem to be able to contact EA either. please help!!Some shift-click interactions showing only "..."
Hi, When I shift-click on Sims or objects, some cheat interactions are appearing only as "..." instead of text. This is happening with different interactions. The example in the screenshot is from Ep.21 Royalty & Legacy. Not all options are broken. Has anyone experienced this? How can I fix it? Game language: Portuguese
CAS GENETIC BUG
hey so I don't know if this issue has been addressed or not. I didn't see it in the list, but when I make a sim and add face cc and face scars and things and move on to the next sims, it removes the cc from the sims, and I have to add it all back over again. And this bug has been happening for a while, and just started back doing it.
MC Command : one parameter doesn't work (same-sex Sim pregnancies)
I don't understand why, with MC Command, female couples are forming and one of them is getting pregnant. I've clearly set a restriction for same-sex Sim pregnancies. I didn't have this problem before, and I've looked through all the options but can't find it... Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, because it's very annoying... it keeps happening.can't open sims 4 due to error
I updated my game earlier on, when I tried to open it, it came up with an error to check my mods or repair the game. I tried to delete the mods (all hair and clothing) and my Mac came up with an error that said "The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “Twistedcat_Stella_Hair.package” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)". I then repaired the game to see if that would make any difference but still coming up with the same error. I've tried to delete the mods folder and the localthumbcache as I've seen posted on here but both times came up with the same message as above. any tips would be appreciated
