Relationship building bug maybe
Hi Simers! I play the Sims four on Xbox one console and the last two days. I’ve noticed that it has been extremely hard to build a relationship in the Sims 4 there could possibly be be a bug. All of my friendly/funny interactions don’t seem to land with other Sims and they get a negative moodlet. Is anyone else experiencing this in the game randomly crashing?Can’t load into any households in my save on xbox
I cant load into my into my main household (or any other households) in my save, it just boots me back to the world map anytime i try and load into a household. i’ve tried saving the save into a new save file, i’ve restarted my game and console multiple times, i think my save may be corrupted because i’m able to load into households on my other saves, i’m on xbox so no mods or cc involved. i’m really getting frustrated with this as it’s a legacy save that i’ve spent a lot of time on. please fix this.
Update 2.20 did not restore gallery access on PS5
The latest update did not restore my gallery. Still no gallery at all Connected to internet? Yes Tried Link to EA in game options? Yes, over a dozen times Account linked on EA.com? Yes Account in good standing? Yes Tried full power down, wait, then reboot? Yes, many times over No gallery access since June 2025 update. Lengthy forum thread closed by EA as *solved* despite the fact that many Playstation players *never* got gallery access restored. Four months and counting Mods? Not possible on PS5No results found on Gallery
Having the same issue. Whenever I try and search on the gallery nothing shows up and I get the “no results found” message. When I view player profiles it has the “this player has not shared any items” message. And checking their catalog shows the “no results found” message. Very frustrating.Gameplay add-ons arent showing
Hi, my girlfriend plays my account for sims religiously and I let her buy a pack or two every month, about 2 months ago she loaded into her sims save and when she went to select her house in the separate seasons part of the game, it gives an error message that add on data cannot be launched, since then I've tried to delete and redownload all of the packs, but I just constantly get error messages, i have also deleted and re-installed the game but still, no luck i bought all of these on PS5 console and i have had no help trying to get answers from EA themselves, please someone help me this has been 2-3 months and around 80 pounds worth of add-ons lost

It occurs randomly during gameplay on my console after a few hours. What happens when the bug occurs? In the middle of gameplay the game stops suddenly and I get a blue loading screen with spinning plumbob and a message that says "We are updating your graphics settings so that you can continue to enjoy playing The Sims 4". What do you expect to see? If there is something I need to change on my console settings myself, I expect it to tell me what to do to avoid this happening. I haven't changed any settings myself and can't find any mention of this message anywhere affecting others. I've done a console reset twice and reinstalled all my content twice. I've power cycled numerous times. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. It started a few months ago around the time I started to get a lot of crashing on save and exit and sometimes on travel or CAS then eventually on loading too. I already mentioned this on the feed about crashing on save and exit but it was suggested the 2 things weren't linked. It started after installing cottage living if memory serves me correctly. I'm extremely unhappy with the stability of the Sims 4 especially after purchasing a next gen Xbox specifically for this game after my Xbox one couldn't cope with all the content I had, it works fine for it's new owner with several games installed. I've had months of crashing on my brand new console and the feed on that subject has had no serious engagement from the Sims team, I've even reached out directly. I'm trying to get to the bottom of it myself but a lot of the research I'm doing mentions that graphics issues can cause crashing. So I want a definitive answer from devs or someone on the subject. I've spent so much money but every day I have issues, it takes 3 attempts to load my game now and I often have to restart my console in the middle of loading as it freezes. I play around 4/5 hours every single day. The 2 things did start around the same time so instead of putting up with the message I'm trying to get it resolved. If there is something that I need to change on my console to avoid this then I need to know, I've had enough of it now. If it's not linked to crashing then ok, that needs investigation for all of us separately as we have already reported. But everything I'm reading says graphics issues are a big factor in crashing. I had no problems with my brand new console before Cottage Living. I'd uninstall it if I hadn't used it in so many households. PS5 user The last few times when I have been building a fence, wall or similar item in build mode, I click the circle button to go back to do another task on the build, but it won't return to the other option in build mode, so I am stuck with the fencing or wall tool. This is making building impossible. The issue is unlikely to be my controller, as circle works perfectly fine on other games and when navigating the games options- this is just an issue on build mode. Has anyone encountered this and know of any fixes? I attempted to change some of the options in the UI and then reset to try and reset the game, but this didn't work. I have 400 hours in the game and have encountered this a couple of times in the past, but it usually resolves itself.
Game looks dull and colors have changed
I FIXED IT!! had to go to manage game and turn off auto HDR was on my Xbox last night and the colors looked fine. I get on today and it’s so grey and dull. I reset my tv setting to be normal but the sims game just looks so bad. My Xbox Home Screen looks normal. The pictures aren’t doing it justice because the phone camera makes it look brighter. When I screen shot it on captures it shows up just like it should look. The needs bars are almost orange and light green
Won’t let me play at all and all saves are gone
when I first click on the game it acts like I’ve never played before, all saves are gone and it gives me a step by step when I need to make a new save. When I try make a new save starting with the household as soon as I click the tick to continue the game freezes then kicks me out. So I can’t enter any worlds, don’t have any of my old saves, can’t make a new game and the game just doesn’t work anymore. someone please help, what is the issue and how can I fix it.
All Forever Friends event rewards disspeared
Sorry for creating this thread wasn't sure what part to put it in, I uninstalled and reinstalled dining out and seasons as I am having issues with both to try to see if it would help my problem out sadly it has not, but on doing so when I logged back in and went to my household it told me 4 items has been removed as they are not loaded on my console, at first I was unsure what the items was till I noticed the bear and magnets has been removed from the house, I have checked the build mode they are no longer there to buy also the PJ are not in the CAS which is so sad as I never got to try it on my children. So it seems I have lost all the items from the event. I play on Xbox next genSettings and UI issues since June
I have sims on the ps5 and for a few months now around June time everytime I open the game the user agreement needs agreeing to and also the screen size needs setting, I've played with the settings on my console and that doesn't help but also it keeps showing me tips or features it thinks are new despite having them for years (e.g it pops up with the tiny living house and haunted house in manage worlds despite already having placed and replaced them , i have also turned all tutorials and help off in the settings ) its as if the game forgets ive had these things for years and the fact ive turned off all help and tutorials 🙃. It also loads up the gallery and asks me to sign in everytime I load up the game. Anyone else having similar issues ? 😕
