EA Overlay Not Appearing
Hello! I know there are an abundance of these issues logged, however mines doesn't seem to match the norm. I just finished doing everything in Jedi Survivor and noticed that I hadn't been getting any achievements for a long long time. EA overlay is enabled, but I can't use shift+f1 to make it appear in-game. So I tested other games directly from EA app and it doesn't work in those either. I cleared the EA cache, repaired the app, uninstalled it, cleared files and reinstalled it too, but it still doesn't work. So I thought I would try an EA game via Steam (Battlefield), this launched, and I could access both the Steam overlay and the EA overlay. Since steam EA launched games worked, I tried adding Jedi Survivor as a non-steam game, but this didn't work for either overlay (it is on a different drive though, maybe that plays a part in it?) Anyway, does anyone know a way to fix this? For reference, my EA app is on the C drive (annoyingly it stealth installs here) and my Jedi Survivor is on a B drive SSD (Yes old-timers, I know it's ye olde floppy drive designated drive letter :D) Thanks!
EA App asking UAC permission at game launch
EA app asks UAC permission/ Admin rights twice every time I need to lauch a game on Windows 11 (even if no update or new content is available... just wanting to launch EA app triggers the request) Specifically, from EALauncher.exe and EADesktop.exe I have set everything connected to EA App and the Sims 4 to run ad admin by default, but for some reason the prompts are still there. It's not possible for me to take screenshots of said issue either. Hi everyone, This thread has been created to gather data from players who report the absence of previously owned or recently bought Games/DLCs in their EA app Library starting from January/February 2024 (or before). If you are experiencing this issue, please ensure the following: Verify that you are logging into the EA app with the correct EA account - the one that contains your games. After manually checking some of your reports (which we don't typically do via forums), we've noticed several instances of players reporting this problem with empty EA accounts. As such, please respond to this thread using your primary EA account (the one you believe your games are registered to). Check your Order History - Try to locate your games, if purchased through our EA.com website or the EA app (formerly Origin), on your Order History page (access it here). If you sign into your EA account on the Order History page, apply filters for All Status and All Timeframes, and still see nothing, you may be using the incorrect EA account. Do or did you have EA Play? - If you had EA Play and claimed games that are now missing or returning a "You don't have access" error, ensure that your EA Play subscription is active. Note that this error can also occur in the EA app if you are attempting to launch an EA game via Steam or Epic while logged into the EA app with the incorrect account (one not linked to your Steam or Epic persona). If you've checked all of the above and still can't see your EA games in the EA app, consider performing an EA app Recovery (clear cache) to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, please reply to this thread with the following information: Your EA ID/Username, The names of the missing games (please just name a handful), The date when this issue first started, Your current EA app version (find out here), Your EA app Error Reporter ID (provide it in this thread). Unable to open on Mac
Today at around 11:30 (GMT/UTC+0) the EA app installed an update, and after it was done, attempting to open the app gave an error message stating that it was damaged, could not be opened, and should be moved to the bin. I have attempted to download a fresh installation, and the error message remains. Opening the 'get info' panel shows the version number as 13.387.0.5900. I am running macOS Sequoia 15.1.1
Sims4 packs error message
Hi there, I recently bought the Cat and Dogs, Cottage Living and Horse Ranch packs but none of them will download. It shows that I own them in the sims4 store but not in the EA app and when I try to download them it has the message "Requires The Sims 4 & all game updates. See minimum requirements for the pack." I have read through the pc and Mac answers but I don't know how to fix it. I've tried the terminal thing to locate them but I don't understand. Please help!Allied Assault Warchest add ons
I had Origin & had the MOH Allied Assault Warchest which I was able to play the add ons easily...now I was forced to download the new EA APP & now cannot play the installed add ons - no play button or anything!! This is very frustrating. Why did you make people use something different, supposedly improved, when it's not improved at all. Totally ridiculous. Also, there are no answers anywhere unless you want to jump thru hoops. Does anyone have an answer worth a **bleep**!!! I've uninstalled & re-installed & still nothing. I am not a very happy EA customer right now.
Sims 4
Hello, I bought 2 packs of the sims 4 game. Shows that I own the pack but it does not show on my game it doesn't let me click on it states it was not downloaded. I uninstalled the sims 4 I deleted catches, I restarted my computer and still the game does not show. Can someone please help me with this situation. Thanks in advance!
