My first idea to show!
Dear, creators of the Sims 4, I, RileyPortagas, had an idea! Look, I may not be a game-making person because I'm more of a gamer, but I have been a huge fan of Sims 4 ever since, but what if you can make a stuff pack that's based off the emo and scene cultures? PS: It's not scenecore or emo core, it's just real emo and real scene, from the 2000s and 2010s. There's a difference. Look it up on Google. So, yes, there would be emo/scene fashion, emo/scene, emo/scene decorations for build mode, and also a fun parody of MySpace as a throwback to the 2000s. I hope you understand what I'm saying. I just got an idea of an Olympics world including multiple sports like Gymnastics, swimming, hockey, track and field, etc. i would also like to be able to create a Sports/Olympics team. I would like to include jobs like coaching sport announcer, sport news, referee, sports engineer. And o idea for the occult pack is it possible for us to get a hybrid update, I have multiple households where it's a vampire and werewolf couple but what would make them perfect is if they could create hybrid children.
Cupid's Corner
We need an option to exclude NPC's from dateable Sims. I have to refresh every 12 hours for many days to get past them all and to the Sim's I created. I do not want my Sims to date all of the NPC's that are spawned. I create quite a few single young adults so I can match them up this way. It is frustrating to not have them come up first. At least there should be more of them mixed in. Also, I have to go in and change many NPCs from Young Adult to Adult so they don't show up. But there is just too many to change. I am sure this is on purpose so you can have many Sims to chose from to date your Sims. Which is why I said we need an option to exclude them from Cupid's Corner. Either, All sims in the game or only favorited households, no other. Something like that. Also sometimes Sims like Bob Pancakes and Eliza are not set to married. Others also come up that way, so they also show up as a potential date. So I have to change them to keep them off the list. Thanks
GTW: Missing patient gameplay
With Get to Work get Hospital lot, active doctor career and ilnesses. When playing as doctor we go to hospitals and take care of patients that are ill. Every sim can get illnesses but we can't a patient at the hospital, so they have to take care of themselves buying a generic medicine or drinking tea. Even though sims taking care of themselves is realistic, the lack of sims searching for specialists makes the gameplay really incomplete and unrealistic. So my suggestions to solve this problem are: Allow sims to have appointments at the hospital; Allow sims to do an online medical appointment on computer; Allow sims to call for a Mobile health care system.Ideas for Expansion, Game, Stuff Packs, and Kits

Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. (I feel with this one, there is already something like this, if so can some please tell me where and how to get it.) The Sims 4 Remaster on Xbox Series X & PS5
The Sims 4 has had a long run, I've been playing since it was first released on PC. I was one of the 1st in line to get it one PS4 and Xbox One S. I've been playing a very long time. Now the console versions are the only ones I play since I don't have a PC powerful enough for the new system requirements. I used to happily play on PC, but that was in days of old. Now it is Xbox Series X and PS5. Its time for a remaster or small remake, or maybe a new version all together. The Sims 5 was dead too soon, and The Sims 4 is stretched for years and years. Please figure this out EA. We want a next generation version. All kinds of games are getting remasters now. Its time to keep up with the times. Please keep up with the changing tides. Explore your opinions. Newer Simulation games will soon hit the markets. There will soon be competitors. For example InZoi, just to name one. So please work on remastering this game. I love the game. I've been faithful since the beginning, I own all the packs on Xbox Series S, and over half of them on PS5. I want to see more. And less glitches, like I'm seeing a gallery glitch. But I already posted on that. So let the Sims 4 soar into new horizons. Don't just release new packs or content, actually upgrade the game all together. The console version needs a reboot. Don't just change the designs, change to game. Don't make the game prettier for new user. Develop newer versions of the game. I've been an advocate for this from the beginning, from my first days on the Forums. I still want to see "The Sims 3" on the newer consoles, you did it for MySims. So please, enhance the game. Remaster it, and re-release it. Do it before they retire the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One X. It should not be too hard, a lot of modern games are remastered. I've put a lot of money into "The Sims 4" for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. And I'm not alone. Thank you for your time and consideration. Much love to the Sims 4 Staff and EA.
Add on/DLC Idea focus on Leagacy
Here's my idea. Shouldn't we start from the beginning? IMMIGRANTS!!! I mean where did your family come from? What was the start to your Legacy? If there is a story to tell, wouldn't it be how they came to start this family? Just like in real life! This idea works well with the Legacy achievement, as well as fitting in with the life of a sim. Family based, ambitiousness, working class, hard working, some resorting to klepto to survive. Menial jobs to business boss, market stalls to sell crafts, food, crops, etc. The starting from scratch "0 Money to Millionaire" also works with this idea. There are alot of great ideas that come outfit wise too if you really think about it. Hobble houses, squaller conditions, tiny houses, multiple families, Thievery, newspaper boy and shoe shiner jobs for kids or young adults. Not all kids got education but their families still thrived and an achievement from Poor conditions to Humble beginnings or first in family to graduate etc. What do you all think? Should this be an idea for Maxis to consider? Id be excited for it!!Dina Caliente's fashion kit
I think a pack based on Dina's aesthetic could be great for the game. Dina's og lore is that she seduces men and take their money to live her best life, kinda like a glam black widow. For her fashion i imagine sexy, bold and empowering pieces. So here are some inspiration for her looks: I think it could also be an great opportunity to add harness fashion since she's supposed to be a sexy figure and this could add to occults wardrobe like vampires and werewolves:Zoom in and out max in tattoo mode; makeup on/off in tattoo mode
I have a bunch of mods such as an eye kit in which you create an eye with items such as sclera, pupil, gloss, iris color and so on; but I cannot use the mod because the face and the eyes are too far from me too see what I am creating. I have the busssines and hobbies pack so I have the face tattoo category but having a limit of 5 layers sucks because the eye kit has more options than 5. Also It is essential to have the options to turn ''the remove makeup'' on/off in tattoo mode, as let's say I want to create a bunch of facial tattoos as part of the makeup - I want to see how the whole lool looks WHILE creating it. Right now I have to use default eye replacement or non-default eyes to see the whole eye look, that has been have created, since it removes eyes in the facial paint category and most modders put their custom eye contacts there. It's also too hard to create custom tattoos when you can't zoom in even closer without mods in all categories for tattoos except face tattoos. It would be better if we could move up and down, zoom in and out to the maximum so that the automatic repositioning in tattoo mode doesn't need to be removed but rather to have the option to change from the initial position.
Camera issues/suggestion
Hi, I don’t know when this update was included, but I noticed that you can zoom in and out, and move the camera around on the family tree part of the Sims. Can we please add that to the camera mode please zoom in and out option still isn’t there for simply taking a photo of another sim, that’s all. Thank you!Rebirthed Sims should Inherit parent's inheritable traits.
Doing some experimentation with Rebirthed sims. Noticed they don't inherit the traits that are Inheritable their parents have. Of course one could always cheat them in but not ideal. Effectivly through normal gameplay its impossible for rebirthed sims to gain any inheritable traits. Including the new dynasty inheritable affinities. Which is what made me realize this issue to begin with. Some method to change would be ideal. Otherwise cheats are currently the only way to get inheritable traits on a rebirthed sim. Also should add no using the peer into soul interaction if the rebirthed sim has the Burning Soul trait will not give any inheritable traits the sim may have had previously.
CAS Story Overhaul
I want to make a few suggestions to improve the story mode within CAS. While I enjoy using it from time to time, it's not an ideal method of creating a sim with traits, skills or careers, nor is it the best method of assigning funds to a new household without cheats. While the experienced user can achieve a degree of success if they are seeking a specific outcome, it still depends to some extent on which questions are asked, and whether any are skipped. It would be better if we could manually choose a sim's career and a set number of skills, as well as funds for the household, and this should apply for sims from child and above, not just young adult and above. For example, each age range should have a number of assignable skill points that they can start with. Another thing that bothers me is that you can't create 2 sims via story mode whilst using genetics. For example, today I made a pair of elder sims via story mode, but when I made their adult son by blending their genetics, I couldn't give him any skills or a career. Please can we make it so the 2 systems work better together, so we can more effectively play sims with a history of some kind.Fame and relationships
Surprise, surprise… my Sim is romantic partners with Thorne Bailey. He invites her to his house and my Sim cannot talk to Orange. If being Neighbors with a Celebrity makes it easy to talk to them… why wouldn’t you use the same mechanism for Relationships. If a Sim is Romantically involved with a Celebrity Sim with a child, it should trigger the Fame Communication Difficulty off for the child… if the child is a celebrity .
Please add actual sims in place of the fake sims in family trees
The free patch that released alongside Royalty and Legacy brought with it some history of several family trees but these sims aren't customizable or playable since they seem to be only PNGs though it's hard to tell since I can't find them when searching the game's files. It would have been nice if EAxis had made them into playable characters rather than this Thanks!
For Rent needs major optimisations and fixes please.
Hello TheSimsDirect 👋 The Sims 4 For Rent Expansion Pack had the potential to be game changing but there are unfortunately still numerous issues with the pack that I really think need to be addressed in a future patch. I realise that some bugs/issues are really hard to investigate and find fixes for but I do think it would be good for the QA team to really try and crack down on fixing some major issues for the pack. I suggest holding a Community Feedback for For Rent like you have been doing for the Sims Autonomy, Infants & the dining experiences. One of the major issues that I am still experiencing in my game is the spawnable harvestables such as frog logs, dig spots, rock spots and harvestable plants overlapping with each other when I have a Residential Rental in that area of the Neighbourhood. This causes them to basically become unusable as my Sims can no longer interact with them. Another issue that needs to be addressed is the amount of times that Sims not in the household decide it is okay to just enter your active Sims unit and use it like it is their own home. I really hope that you can give this expansion pack some focus one day as I truly wish to be able to use Residential Rentals without fear of save breaking issues. Thank you 😇
Give us lot traits for Toddlers!!!
I checked into a bit of research of this. Even if things may change from this year, how can I enjoy what I have is not finished yet, even if my Desktop is lost be able to delete things to make memory space for this colossal file that this game is getting. Your group may be aware, but not have not given us lot traits to enable families with toddlers to bring them to lots. Not even the community lot from the expanded family game play! have a child play area is fine, but how am I let my Sims toddler get a childhood friend!? How am I suppose to make do what I have before having to say good bye for losing memory space, if I can't do basic stuff.Makes Sims4 Better.
Hello, I hope the message finds any and all of you well. The only reason I want to discuss something like this and even went through all of this just to say it is because I absolutely adore this game, it’s fun to play, and honestly very entertaining. But there are just so many things that could be better especially since it’s 2026. Starting off with the graphics… Sims4 has been running for quite some time now and their graphics are okay but could definitely be so much better considering how much time has passed. Now this is an issue that I don’t have that much of a problem with but the thing I want to talk about most is also hair movement and cloth movement, I think that that’s also something that should be worked on. Even for all hair types, if the hair had any type of flow that would add to the realism look and be much better than stiff hair. A long with more facial expressions and actions. All I’m saying is that I wish more of the actual sims were worked down rather than just adding new stuff to the game instead of actually updating it. This is just a consideration I would like to be seriously thought out, please and thank you. Have a nice day.
