Is 2026 the last year of TS4?
I've been seeing a lot of cryptic tweets from a very credible Sims personality on X and no one seems to be talking about it. He's hinted a few times that TS4 will be over next year and he is 100% right with all other predictions for the game (like EP's and updates that are coming which he usually predicts MONTHS before any leaks or announcements) . Does anyone have any ideas about this? I personally really wanted cars in the game before any complete closure of productions. Could 2026 be the final year of TS4?

The title says it all. I shouldn't have to esc through 500 stupid windows telling me all the packs I already know that I have. I don't care. I've played this game for too many years and spent way too much money on it for this kind of nonsense. Do better.

So moving to Sim 4 I found my absolutely favourite feature of the sims 3 dispeared... The option. to custom colour everything. I love this feature so much i made a complete custome coloured house that was absolutely stunning. Although i wished you could customise them a bit more like you can for fairy wings in the Sim. Ghost sim pregnancy It would be cool if a ghost sim or just a sim would be able to have children with each other if the ghost got pregnant u would see a ball of light in the baby bump and when born It would be born as a wisp u can level up the wisp and help them be born again threw a sim Sim if pregnant by ghost And if a sim got pregnant by a ghost u would see like a light glow from the baby bump and have little animations like the light leaving the belly in the same freaking out the sim then it goes back in the belly Baby or children ghost sims When the baby ghost is born the baby is still alive and we'll have a little bit of a ghost abilities nothing for us to use though like when the baby throws a tantrum it'll make the electricity of the house start going crazy or if it's playing with blocks it can make the blocks levitate in the air but once the child starts getting older he will start losing his ghost abilities and once he hits that young adult age he has to choose to be sim or a ghost Let me know what u guys thinkMermaids occults revisited

flask like let's say if a sims vampirism in there and if there max out the sim gets all of the ability unlock or if there was buff in the flask they will get that buff The payment U can sell ur soul or give her or him ur buff or they can age u up or lower ur occults level down or take ur occult or it could be random depending on the price or on the witch there a good witch and a bad witch (need cauldron) Cauldron Like the wizard u can make potions to help sim breath under water longer or make an air bubble around the head for 30 mins or less u can also use the cauldron as a looking glass to watch the sim that owes u payment and to summon the sims or mermaids or bless or hex a random sim depends on u Good witch bad witch The good witch can cure any illness and cure an occult can give traits buffs and if there is a willing occult to give up there abilitys the witch can transfer to u if willing and can age or make them young again for a fair trade and if the sims die they can bring them back to life and if they past on they can bring them back from the other side but that's in the heaven and hell dlc idea I have if u want to go look lol Evil sea witch u can make deals contracts they can take buffs or traits or force to age u up or even taking ur soul or ur occult turning u back to normal or lower ur occults skill level and if u want to turn into occult u would have to kidnap a sim and the witch will steal the occult and give it to u for u soul and can also bring back the dead sims or the one that past on to the other side but need heaven or hell dlc idea I have on my page lol If u have The Seasons expansion U can use water ball to hold the mermaids in place so they can't swim away wind ball could hold a sim in place when ur underwater so they can breathe and with the ice u can freeze in place until u decide to let them go Hydration gauge And the meter will be the same with the hydration with the hydration washing ur hands taking shower swimming that will keep full which we know but if u kiss a sim u can drain all the moisture making them them dehydrate and feeling up ur water gauge it won't kill the sim it would just make them thirty which will an hydration option if u want to use it Mermaid tails Like how they have mermaid tails they should make some fancy octopus legs or shark tails and also have some fins on the arms and back or maybe cheeks with some gills and hand webbing as add-ons The bottom is for the for the Angel and demon occult dlc idea I had go take look at it and tell me what u think Mermaid inspired angel *Scales with Iridescent Sheen*: Shimmering scales that reflect light like angel wings, giving them an ethereal appearance *Aquatic Wings*: Instead of traditional wings, they have flowing, fin-like appendages that allow them to swim and glide through water with ease. *Oceanic Halo*: A soft blue glow surrounding their head, representing their connection to the ocean and its secrets Mermaid inspired demon *Scales with Smoldering Ember*: Dark, fiery scales that reflect the glow of hellish flames, giving them a menacing appearance. *Infernal Fins*: Instead of traditional wings, they have sharp, jagged fins that allow them to slice through the water with deadly precision. *Dark Tides Aura*: A mysterious, dark purple glow surrounding their head, representing their mastery over the darkest depths of the ocean and its hidden terrors.
Laundry Day- Hampers: Choice
Currently: The Hamper that clothes are put into is typically based on the closest one to where a sim is changing clothes, so you can sometimes have it where the wrong sim will use the wrong hamper, causing hampers to have to stay in a washroom and be “used by any”. The thing is, it’s not realistic unless the family is very close. Proposed idea: Choice: If you simply put the hampers down, they remain in their current state, and the hampers will accept any clothes - i.e., any SIM that hasn’t selected its own. But, like beds, you should be able to associate a hamper with a sim, so that anywhere they change clothes, it will go into the selected hamper. However, allow for multiple sims to “select” the same hamper (that way, if, for example, there’s a couple living in a bedroom, they can share). If it’s too hard to do it like the bed...maybe have it work similarly to doors. Lock hamper for... What do you all think? Yes, it’s not a big deal compared to other things, but it could add a bit more realism to that pack.
Should older packs be revisited?
I think the team should really pause the constant EP releases and focus on revisiting older dlcs to make the whole game coherent with its features and integrated with each other. I don't mean making refreshes becase that would mean creating inexistent features for the game (like the nails system with Spa Day) but instead just reutilize existing features to fulfil the holes of missed opportunity. I've been thinking about this since i discovered they add new activities to the Clubs with new packs, and of course after the Spa Day refresh. But as it looks like we aren't getting refreshes like that i think we could use something like we do with club's activites and the recent mermaid tomb, urn and bassinets. These are the things i'd like to see on the packs i own: 👜 GET TO WORK • Own a Retail lot without needing a residential • Aliens skin details • Model and photographer career • Visit Hospital as a patient • Work at the labs as astronaut, botanist (gardener branch) or mechanic • Active gigs for base game careers 👥 GET TOGETHER • Make old clubs member know each other • DJing included in Entertainer career 🏙 CITY LIVING • Interactive rats • Dancing included in Entertainer career 🌧 SEASONS • Seasonal festivals for Willow Creek and Oasis Springs; • Clothesline for wet clothes • No sad moodlet for not celebrating holidays • Turn off surprise holidays • Choose to have a favourite holiday or not • Full Plantsim life state with perk tree 🐾 CATS AND DOGS • More short breeds • Allow to create ghost pets on CAS • Wedding entrance for pets • Support pets 🎬 GET FAMOUS • Make up artist, Director, other careers • Option to keep celebrities in Del Sol Valley • Stop sims from falling off for celebrities • Choose if a sim like celebrities (Likes/Dislikes or Social Compatibility for fame levels?) 🏝 ISLAND LIVING • Merfolk skin details • Paint mode for mermais tails • Mermaid abilities organized on a perk tree • Mermaid power bar separate from hydration • Mermaids, world and townies lore • Secret mermaid gathering spot (beshind the volcano?) • Island festivals on calendar and invitations • Existing careers as semiactive: Lifeguard, Fisherman, Diver, etc. • Attraction to merfolk 📚 HIGH SCHOOL YEARS • 1 or 2 more classrooms • Turn off the "hair growth enabled" by default • Active after school activities club 🏕 OUTDOOR RETREAT • Interactive insects • Bigfoot and Ghost NPC • Camp grounds lore • Hiking and climbing • Seasons' scouts gathering in Granite Falls 🧛♀️ VAMPIRES • Fulfill thirst by absorving energy • Vampire clans like the Werewolf Packs • Forgotten Hollow and Vampires lore • Mores NPCS/townies: Miss Hell, Von Flavius, etc • Attraction to vampires 🗿 JUNGLE ADVENTURES • Allow residential lots at Puerto Llamante 📖 REALM OF MAGIC • Change magic color • Interact with familiars • Glimmerbrook lore • Spellcasters occult form • Magic Classes • Magic covens (Untamed, Practical and Mischief magic) like werewolf packs • Attraction to spellcaster ⚗ STRANGERVILLE • Way to not trigger the begining of the infection • Town and alien lore 🐺 WEREWOLVES • Fix the rampage runstyle turning bipedal when going up/downstairs. • Body hair for human form • Canine-like feet • Attraction to werewolves (If you agree don't forget to like and if you disagree comment why)
Future of the game
Hi, It could be a good opportunity to be less serious and more focused on humor. Maxis could try to focus on male sims and masculine activities, on having fun more than just copy/paste the boring IRL everyday life. Life in The Sims 4 can't stay more limited than TS1, TS2 and TS3, players also want to escape the routine. Fantasy and humor are the strength of The Sims franchise compared to inZOI and Paralives which are boring to death, so maintaining this aspect could save the game because they are values shared by everybody, I mean every players like to dream and laugh. And Maxis should be less focused on US topics and go back to universal values inspired by an international point of view. If I'm not wrong about 75% are non-US players so it would make sense to take care of them more.
More representation for Slavic players
As someone who is Slavic (Slovak/Czech) I honestly feel kind of disappointed in the sims team for not giving us any Slavic pack or world. We have a expansion pack on the Asian community like for rent expansion pack and snowy escapes and then there's the lovestruck pack which is more for the Latin/Hispanic community etc. Not a single one for SLAVIC players no world pack or kits. We need more representation of the Slavic community.
Infants, Toddlers and Elders.
So I'm happy that the kids finally got stuff and gameplay dedicated to them with the camp, the playground, the IF and many more things. Infants and toddlers and elders still I feel neglected like with stuff and how the elders don't have their own gameplay dedicated to them. Let's with newborn, infants and toddlers I would like to see pacifiers it can soothe all three to sleep or to stop crying, also imagine trying to ween off a toddler from the Pacifier. Toddlers and Infants with the strollers like I give credit where credit is due to the Devs thank you for having Toddlers and infants more in the world however I would like to see strollers out in the world like in reality you see people walking down the street with the babies in the strollers, even at the parks or when they are walking the dogs. Infants need more equipment like I get the playmate but someone was playing Sims 2 and 3 and I forgot we had a baby swing and I was like omg it made me tear up because I miss those swings, an infant can be in a swing or a bouncy, or a baby rocker. Toddlers now I love they can play at the playground we need the toddler swings the bucket looking ones, the springer playground equipment. A tricycle, motorized cars they can sit in and drive around. Elders we need walkers, canes, maybe even a wheelchair, I know we have dentures in CAS and BB but what if we have a gameplay and a sim with no teeth and they put they teeth in. Or brush they dentures. Elders have a little less strenuous exercise. Also we need a potion so Elder don't have to die from over excersion. Any more thoughts Simmers???San Myshuno, part 2
Hi, Technically San Myshuno is a big city, right ? So it should have more than 5 neighborhoods. I also think Spice Market is the best neighborhood that Maxis has ever done. I like these points and I would like to see them again : Vibrant neighborhood Low polygon background people Flea market + one festival : Maybe a black market selling corrupted cheat codes and rewards (Satisfaction Rewards, ...) Weirdos wandering Street artists Small open area but well designed and optimized for social life in city But this time it would be wonderful if Maxis could do smaller apartments with a system similar to Tiny Home Residential including apartments with terrace and Sliding doors. Starter apartments for single students because actually EP03 City Living apartments are too big. For example IRL my first apartment was 5x6 (30m², living room + bathroom + kitchen + terrace). This new part of the city could include rabbithole businesses/services like Movie theater, Landgraab Grocery store (low quality industrial fruit/vegetable), Fast food restaurant, ...Feedback: Likes & Dislikes Activity category
I think we all know that likes and dislikes were supposed to add depth to the sims personalities even thought they merely give us anything rather than moodlets (at least the activities ones) which should be changed too. But i think the activities avaible as likes and dislikes are wrongly tied to skills only which is pretty controversial because this category is also called "Hobbies and skills" but only focus on skills. My suggestion is to add more hobbies that aren't skill related. Here's an example of hobbies avaible on clubs dos and don'ts that aren't only skill related:Greece and Rome inspired world with possibly Angel sims
I'd liked to see a world based on Greece and a touch of Rome and there can be 3 neighborhoods each with temples to the gods. Communicating with Gods: You can unlock the ability by studying Mythology and when communicating with a god at the alter, a light shines down upon the alter and your sim who is kneeing at it. A Favor Point System: The Gods can do things for your sims after they gain favor like help max out a skill or reset occult mastery, etc. Favor can work like satisfactory points, except you got to go to temples to spend them for rewards. One way to get favor for some gods is to do good things like help a sim out. Other gods, you may have to be mean or fully embrace your sims occult life state like Vampire's feeding on humans or you can offer gems that correspond to the god you are comminating with for favor. First Neighborhood: A group of Islands Mermaids can pray and commune with a God of the Sea at an ocean Greek temple on a sunken sand bank covered in shallow water. This temple being next to with the Goddess of Music. On an small island, a Greek temple for a God of Time and Space for Aliens shared with a lighthouse with a rocky base and telescope at the top. Second Neighborhood: A large Island with coastline town at a mountain base. Fairies and Plantsims can commune with the Goddess of Nature and Harvest and 4 demi goddesses of the seasons at a Greek temple on a hill on a large island and a Roman Temple of the Goddess of Romance and Beauty shares the same garden as Nature Temple. Nature and Harvest Goddess can grant fairy mastery reset, a chance for twins and triplets and increase all nature related and cooking skills. Mocking her will curse your sim with infertility, an anti-green thumb curse where even a cactus will die. Romance and Beauty Goddess can grant attraction from every sims regardless of turn ons and turns offs, the ability to woohoo strangers, mend broken hearts and can increase Romance and Charisma Skills. With vampires, she can grant the max charming ability to be unlocked without using vampire mastery points. Mocking her will have your sim be cursed with unattractiveness and any relationship can become broken like instant divorce and your sim's partner will not even be heartbroken about it. On another hill of the same island with flowers linked to day and night that glow during night surrounding a Temple for a Sun God of Harmony for Hybrids and his wife, the Goddess of Magic, for Spellcasters. The Sun God has Twin sisters at the temple as well, the Moon Goddesses, One for Vampires and the other for Werewolves. These goddesses can help increase your occult sim's experience to the next level, they can reset masteries and increase skills linked to the occult type and help spellcasters unlock potion recipes and spells. The Magic Goddess can even grant new spells and potions that you can only get from her like potions that turn sims into occults. The Sun God can love hybrids that he can grant secondary occult mastery or even combine the masteries into like Magic Vamp Mastery with dark caster form, Were Magic Mastery with glowing fur at the tips of a dark wolf form, Were Magic Vamp Mastery with dark caster form with glowing fur on the tips of wolf ears and tail. A temple on the coastline for the God of Artisan, he can increase all crafting and cooking skills. Mocking him will curse your sim with clumsiness and poor quality goods. Third Neighborhood: Mountain top town New angel sims can commune with a sim version of the King of Gods at a Roman temple at the highest point of the mountain that over looks a Roman Coliseum. Sims can get a job of God's messenger or an Apostle. Ghosts, the Grim Reaper and Grimborn sims can commune with the God of Death at a swampy temple under the temple to the King of Gods as may be a long forgotten hidden realm. Zombies and skeletons can seen here as ancient guards and there's a reaper ferry boatman controlling the boat in an underground ghostly swamp with ghostly hands that try to reach inside the boat. By communicating with the God of Death, Grimborn sims can become a Reaper without reaching the top of the Reaper career after gaining enough favor, Ghosts can be revived after gaining enough favor and the Grim Reaper calls the god father. A third Roman Temple to the God of War and Chaos for Malevolent sims, mean and evil deeds gains favor with this God or a corresponding gemstone. This god can grant all sorts of misfortune to your sims enemie's like cause discord in friendships, daily bad luck and break relationships. This God can even grant a normal sim, the strength to brawl with a werewolf or vampire and win. Spirits with the Mark of Evil can gain favor faster.
Female Sims show either as unemployed or housewife
Female Sims who are not working are sometimes displayed as unemployed or housewives. Why the difference and the randomness? Why are some female sims shown as unemployed and some are as housewives?? All of those are unemployed. I play my game in German, and "unemployed" is displayed as "Arbeitslos" and "housewife" as "Hausfrau." which is kind of the same thing but "Hausfrau" sounds better and is more appropriate nowadays. I prefer ALL my unemployed female Sims to be displayed as housewives "Hausfrau" and not unemployed because generally speaking, cleaning and taking care of the household AND members is also work! just like in RL. BTW, the word 'unemployed' is no longer appropriate and long outdated. Today, the term is either "job seeker" - "arbeitssuchend" or "housewife." - "Hausfrau" Please EA, consider making a change in this regard for ALL female Sims who are "unemployed" to be displayed as "housewife." - "Hausfrau" and stop the difference and the randomness.why doesn't cottage living have this ?
I've been thinking about it for a while because I've been playing the Sims for a long time since I was little and it would be nice if it was actually cottage living with more interaction with animals. How can horses, cats and dogs be reproduse? Why isn't there a cottage living for cows and goats and llamas? Sheep are also missing, so it would be nice to have a real cottage living, not only to have milk, but to be able to make butter from it and many many other things. Like in a real village ..
There should be an Apothocary on the phone
I know you can turn off Ailments but I like to play the game without using too many cheats or governors. Therefore you almost need to have someone in every household who learns the Apothocary skill to heal your sims. I didn't mind this at first but really it gets to be tedious having to learn all those medicinal concoctions. Someone made a huge miscalculation by not just putting a traveling Apothocary NPC on your phone so if you just want to heal your sim you just call them up and for a fee they come to your home lot and they just have all the cures in their magic bags. That doesn't mean you can't still play the career if you want. But unless I am mistaken if you did have an active sim in one of your lots who was a Naturalist Healer could you send your ailing sim to visit them and they could heal them or would you have to switch lots and actually play the sim who was the healer and then have them invite the sick sim over for a healiing?
