Sims faces glitch when dragging in CAS
hello! whenever i drag a body part / part of my sims face in create a sim, they start to glitch and twitch everytime i drag anything, even when i turned my mods off this problem still occurs. does anyone know how to fix this ?? if there's a way at all.. [CM edit - descriptive title]

Hey everyone, please I need your help with this error i got from better exceptions, my game was a little slow and then this came up, I asked chat GPT but it said that theres probably something wrong with some careers/gigs mods but i dont have this type. Large blue rectangle appearing in bottom - left cover - sim4 UI Bug
Hi EA and Sims 4 team, I am having a large blue rectangle appearing in the bottom-left corner of my Sims 4 game. It covers part of the UI and makes it difficult to use the game. I have already tried many troubleshooting steps: Removed/renamed my Mods folder and tested with no Mods or CC Deleted localthumbcache.package Repaired The Sims 4 through the EA app Reset the Sims 4 user folder and tested with a fresh folder Reset Options.ini Changed between windowed/fullscreen Lowered the graphics settings Enabled Laptop Mode Updated my Intel graphics-related drivers through Windows Update Restarted my laptop and the game The blue rectangle is still there even with a completely clean Sims 4 setup and no Mods/CC. My laptop uses Intel Graphics, and Windows reports that the graphics device is working properly. The problem appears on the Residential Worlds/world-selection screen, and the blue rectangle stays in the bottom-left corner. Could EA please investigate whether this is a Sims 4 UI/rendering bug introduced by a recent update? I can provide screenshots and any additional information needed. My mods are not working for the sims even though my mods are enabled, the mods are not zip files or anything like that. I tried both script mods and normal custom content. I know that my mods are in the right folder and put in properly. I have had the sims for around 3 years and have used mods the entire time and never had this problem. I was having this problem on my laptop (not a MacBook if that's relevant) a few months ago and thought I had somehow messed it up but now I am facing this problem on my PC. I have tried restarting the EA app, using the repair option, and app recovery but nothing has worked. I have no idea what to do anymore and just bought new packs earlier thinking this issue was only something on my laptop not also on my PC.won't save new families
To summarize: I make a Sim, press the check mark to save and play, but it just stays on the screen above, where the check mark is grayed out from me clicking it. I can escape to go back to edit the Sim, but it does not save. I have deleted the cache, deleted mods, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and updated it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Weird pixel
Hi! I have this pixel onto my game, could someone please help me? i play onto the EA APP Windows 11 ever since downloading the sims 4 again it show this kind of pixel everytime i add a detail in the face and body and it continue to glitch during the game (i also tried to delete all my mods and also remove the whole game and re-download etc and it’s still there, the pixel, i even tried to download sims studio but my windows won’t allow sims studio so i don’t know what to do) kinda like this:
Destination worlds
I have Salvadorada and granite falls and everytime I try to enter build mode it does the usual loading screen then kicks me back to the world selection page. I’ve never built anything in either map but I’d like to be able to edit the lot/houses to my liking. I haven’t seen anything online that explains how I could fix it :/Sims 4 tattooing crashes my game
I just got the business and hobbies pack and long story short. Every time my sim tattoos sims at the tattoo shop I created, my game crashes. I started testing all my mods doing the 50/50 test and sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn’t. So there’s really no pinpoint on what mod is causing the issue. Everything works fine with no mods but again I can’t decipher which mod is causing the issue. It’s all not making sense! Can anyone please help?
DX11 PRECOMP Decoded Shaders + VFX/SWARM Pipeline Research
I’ve published a new set of technical resources from the ongoing development of TS4 Animation Browser. The work documents the modern Shaders_DX11.precomp format, including the path from PRECOMP records to Snappy-compressed DXBC shaders, as well as the VFX chain from game resources and SWARM effects through runtime processing, renderer families, shaders and D3D11 draw calls. The documentation also includes binary templates for 010 Editor and ImHex, validated VFX resource topology, authored effect families, renderer layouts, and tested VFX fixtures used during the research. My game crashes every time my sims use a coffee or tea maker small appliance. This has been an issue for a while in my game and I can't seem to figure out the cause. I have done the 50/50 method three separate times now, and just when I think I've dwindled it down to the CC culprit, as soon as I put back all my mods, it continues to crash. With the 50/50 method, I identified a Pandasama mod and BuildBuy items as "allegedly" causing the crashing. I removed those items, tested in the save again, and it didn't crash. But when I put back all my mods, it crashes again, even though while doing the 50/50 method the game did not crash while I'm testing each of the items separately. I don't know how else to troubleshoot for the crashing. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! For the record, I play on a Mac with an Apple M2 Pro Chip, and it's on the macOS Tahoe Version 26.6.1. If you need any more information on my computer, I'd be happy to provide.
