Colores Urbanos CC causing skin texture issues...
I just recently got back into The Sims after a year or so and installed it on my new laptop. I copied CC I had off of a portable hard drive and have been using that as well as downloading new stuff. I noticed last night that my CC by Colores Urbanos (Curbs) is glitching badly and since she seems to be m.i.a. again I was wondering if anyone could help me? Basically it looks like you can see the textures of leggings or shorts or underwear on their skin while wearing different items, but not all items are causing the issue. And sometimes the texture issues is on the clothing item itself. Pictures added for reference
Glitches on CC Boots
Hello, I have updated my game recently to version 1.124.63.1020. After update, I have checked my mods as always but there are glitches on lots of boots. Has anyone encountered this problem? Do i have to delete these shoes or is this a game bug? I hope my problem gets fixed because I had no problem until latest update. Thanks in advance.CAS Mods work, but build mods don't.. help!
Hi! I am hoping someone sees this soon and can help. Since the last update, when I play the game, all of my CAS mods work just fine while playing & creating, my build mods work in game mode, but when I go to build something else, none of my build mods show up in build mode. Any ideas on how to fix this? I did the 50/50 thing. Didn't help. Tried deleting the Cashe. Didn't work. Deleted a mod I thought was the culprit, didn't work. I have everything enabled and have tried to disable/enable them, and have restarted the game a few times. I've restarted my computer (MAC)... does anyone know of anything else I can do?!? Driving me crazy. TIA!Sims 4 CC - Game no longer launches from corrupted files
I recently had been redoing all my CC for the sims 4 and was able to play just fine, but then realized I needed to extract the .rar files in order to access the items. (I heard I needed to do this for .zip files too, is that still true?) So, I went through probably about 100 .rar files and extracted them all, then took all the extracted into the sims 4 mods folder. Only then was I starting to get issues not being able to launch the game, so I even went as far as opening each file after extracting and just dragging the package into the modded folder. But even after that everytime I launch the game it wont load due to a corrupted file, and it's a new file everytime. With how much CC I downloaded I lost track of what is exactly what, but I dont wanna launch and delete a file everytime I try to play until I am able to play again. I was literally playing yesterday and this morning before I started to extract the files for everything ending in .rar. I left all .zip files in the mods folder as is for now, along with the rest of the items in there because I don't wanna risk messing things up further. I have 5,518 items in the sims 4 cc folder as of now, and pre-.rar extraction I probably had just over 4,075 items. Is there any way to fix any corrupted files so I can play and keep the items? I don't wanna restart my folder/cc search, or redownload the CC (It'll take hours to find everything again). I'm kind of bummed because I had just finished finding all I wanted and now I can't even play anymore. And to answer any questions: - I verified sims 4 file integrity (I use steam) - I extract files directly from the Files app on windows, I don't use WINRAR or whatever I've heard other people use (Should I have?) - I haven't uninstalled the game (I worry about losing my CC finds, because I don't feel like moving the 5k+ files to another temporary file lol) - pop up message I get when trying to launch the game is "Unable to start: Cannot start because the below file appears to be corrupted. If this file is a Mod please remove it and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin." - then it lists the mod.
Bearer Of Bad News
I'm honestly so sorry, Sims 4 team, but whatever you guys have done within these last two patches needs to be reversed immediately! I can only have gameplay if I play vanilla without my mods, and I hate it!! I have unfortunately experienced the CAS bug that was supposedly fixed 1 patch ago, which I did not initially have at all before both patches(Yes, this is with mods installed). SMH, I am also experiencing my Sims standing endlessly ignoring assigned tasks, as well as my play/pause buttons doing the opposite of what they should. When I press play, it takes an infinite number of times before the screen goes into action. When I press pause, it's the same. Normally, I would blame my mods, but I've updated all of them as well as organized my mods folder recently. However, this time, I'm blaming the base game updates. It seems to hate coexisting with mods, which in turn makes me hate this game more and more. I'm constantly losing time troubleshooting the game constantly instead of actually playing it. Is this what you all intended for us to do with this game when it was released?? Become Devs and troubleshoot it constantly?? I'm losing my patience after each patch update and hotfix. I literally cannot take it anymore! Please investigate all game bugs thoroughly and efficiently. What I've reported are probably only a few issues among millions that are going on or lurking, just waiting to cause me and other simmers havoc. Oh, BTW there is another issue, the EA app constantly pops up and makes me have to sign in every day now, and forces me to go online. I prefer playing offline as I don't like in-game ads! The App needs an update because it's rambunctious. I should be able to be offline as long as I want, without having to sign in constantly just to prove the point of existing to shareholders or whoever that I exist, and I log into this game!Corrupted Lots
For the past few months I have been running in to a lot of lot corruption. Specifically with rental lots and the Stonestreet Apartments in Evergreen Harbor. It seems as if I have "too many" gallery lots or one too many sims in my world that's when the lots will become corrupted. It doesn't even seem like I have that many builds or families in game. I have never had this problem until a few months ago. Is anyone else experiencing this? And is this something that I can fix? Yes, I play with mods and CC.
money cheats not working
My funds are not going up despite typing 'motherlode' etc. I have tried with and without testingcheats, and have uninstalled my mods. I do not know if it is a glitch in a residential rental, but i cannot add any money to my funds (even with UI cheats). Has anyone else had this issue?
Bed Autonomy
I've recently been watching YouTube videos of simmers playing Sims 2 and 3 and in one of them (I'm not sure which one.) sims don't make their beds when they get out of it. I really like this because for me it adds more realism to the game even if it's this small piece of realism. I have no idea how to mod and I've tried to learn but I'm not a fast learner so it just gets frustrating for me. Is there a mod out there that makes it so sims will not make the bed autonomously, and if not, is there a modder out there that's willing to make one?Is it possible for ALL of my mods & CC to be corrupted
Hi! Bit of background info - I’m using Mac and haven’t played since Aug 2025 Tonight I updated my game and updated all of the mods I currently use to the newest versions, my game wouldn’t open with the mods folder. I did absolutely everything 50/50, removed my entire sims 4 folder and created a new one and added my saves & tray files. Again won’t open with the mods folder, I empty my full mods folder and fresh download better exceptions and it’s now working with that 1 mod. Is it possible my original mods folder was corrupted? And when updating my mods they’ve become corrupted by going into that folder? I have 5 years worth of CC which I reeeeeaaallly don’t want to redownload unless I have no other choice
Problems with Gshade need help?
I'm having some issues currently with gshade. I been using gshade on my laptop and decided I wanted to change my preset to a new one. In doing so the new one I changed to seem to go dark and strange coloured, so switched back to my other one I had been using. The other one I had been using at the time was fine but now was doing the same thing. it had turned a funny colour not how it was before I decided to close the game update gshade but went back in game and the presets were all dark or to bright and odd coloured not how there suppose to look. I restarted EA and the problems continued I uninstalled gshade and reinstalled it I followed the videos in how to install it so I installed it correctly but no luck. I googled it they said to download it again in direct 11 not the 9 but when I installed it in the direct 11 it was the same thing and not only that when I uninstalled it again the direct 11 broke my sims and I had to uninstall and reinstall it because it didn't load. Gshade is still broken for me presets are not looking as they do from the people I download them from, is there anyway to fix it please help. Also I thought it had been mods or possibly cc that had caused this but it happened even without them in there. (this sim was random for build mode) here is what one preset looks like Serenity by misslollypopsims but it should not look like this here is another preset that should not like this this one is more colourful and dark but should not look like this this is serene by pixelglamhelp?? blue box??
okay so here's what I did: I wasn't getting the option for woohoo so I removed my mods folder, deleted cache and repaired the game, then launched it vanilla. everything worked great. then I tried to move my mods folder back and it suddenly told me one of my mods wasn't working, so I deleted that one (just a standalone decoration cc). I also don't have mccc, or **bleep** or anything similar. so I launched my game and everything was great loading it, and then this blue box wouldn't go away, and I also can't load my Sims house it just jumps back to the world maps. please help!!
gallery neukadase game
and when I put mods in, I first start the game and give it a thumbs up, then I reset it and go back into the game, then semi doesn't show the mods list nwm if they don't do addons Good day, I was last on May 12th but for a few days I can't get into the gallery I have a red cross I can't get in when I turn on mods in the game then I turn it off and on again so semi there the mods don't show I can't even log in to the gallery it keeps saying you are not connected to the internet I tried reinstalling then repairing but nothing helped so I don't know what to do etc thanks for the answers I reinstalled it again and it didn't help. When I download my family, I don't have any content. When I want to go into the game, it won't let me play. I have over 90 addons but I don't know what to do.Can't see buttons only background and Sim CAS
What is the issue here? Whenever I go to try and edit a sim in cas, I just get a screen with my sim and a blank background...what is the issue? I don't have UI mods installed at! Why is it so hard for them to just not mess up the game? This is how i relax after a stressful day, ad thanks to the dev team I now have to spend my evening tracking this down.....do better!
Chickens being deleted randomly
I bought a coop and chickens. Every time I open the game to play, I notice some of them were deleted (for example, I'll close the game with four chickens, and open it to find just one). This has been happening for a while (the save game I'm using, where I see this bug, was created around the beginning of March). I've tried checking if they're just unassigned to the coop or lost in household inventory... no show. In addition, I just noticed one of my rooster chick's got deleted upon aging up, while in game. Thank you for the attention!
