Traits Panel Not Appearing
Hello! After updating my game I have been unable to see the traits panel or choose any traits for my sim unless I select randomize. Even then I still cannot see them when randomized. I removed the few mods/cc I had and also un-installed and re-installed my game, and they are still not appearing. Someone posted about this issue a couple weeks ago on here as well but did not share how they were able to fix it yet. Any ideas for what else I should do??
Households Won't Load After Recent Updates
Ever since the September 18th update, my households have been unable to load through the manage worlds menu. When I click play on any household or click the build button, it takes a while to load and then brings me back to the manage worlds menu with an error code suggesting I should reopen the game, which I have done many times. In essence, the only thing I can currently do on The Sims 4 is start a New Game, use Create-a-Sim, place the household in a lot, and that's as far as I can go. I have just repaired my game and all of my packs, deleted the local thumbnail cache multiple times, and deleted all the exception files. I am now starting to sift through my mods folder to see if anything there is causing my game to break. Does anyone have the same problem? Any solutions???

It’s ESSENTIAL because there are CLEARLY not enough preferences in the base game. I’ve attached the link to the mod. I really hope someone can fix it because the creator hasn’t shown any signs of life, and without this mod, I can’t create Sims the way I want. Thank you.
The game does not recognize my graphics card.
I have a new laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6gb Laptop GPU. I installed the sims and it runs perfect with no cc installed. However, the game will not launch if any piece of cc is installed. I've narrowed the problem down to the game not recognizing my graphics card. The issue is I do not understand the instructions to get the game to recognize the card. Can someone explain it to me like I'm a toddlerAlways raining
I have a save file where it is always raining. I've been playing for 20 sim days and every single second of those days has been rainy. Even in the calendar when it says the weather will be sunny, it's not. It does not matter what season I'm in either. I have tried to cheat it away with UI cheats as well as MCCC and I have turned off all weather, but nothing is stopping it. It's really starting to get annoying. Has anyone had this issue and if so, how did you fix it? It is only one save file, not all of my saves. I have attached photos to show the weather in the calendar vs what it says on the bar on the bottom. And also that my settings for weather are off. It doesn't seem to be a mod issue considering it's just this one save file. Someone help please.
How to remove custom food w/o corrupting my save?
In preparation for the next base game update, I've been trying to remove my custom food mods, but every time I do, I get the error code: 111:41812468:38e66658. Other forums say to delete any plates, but even when I bulldoze the entire lot, and sell all my Sims' inventory, I get the error code. I've also tried moving to a different lot w/o any custom food; still get the error code. I play on Windows 11, and own most packs except EBN, B&H, FR, Lovestruck, MWS, JTB, and various kits Custom food mods: *icemunumn's smoothie and milkshake blender *Icktoria's Very Vintage CC *mtsfoodgroup food & drink custom interactions *icemunmun's Classic Meatloaf *icemunmun's Jello Mould & Mill add ons *issheevenitalian pizza oven *LBB Medival Cookbook & Bread *LBB Hunting & ForagingMain menu ONLY-Sim turns black and has no hair
When I open up the game, I'm greeted with my sim who has blackened skin and no hair. If I go into the game, she looks completely fine. I used a lot of CC on her, but I'm also not sure if that would be the issue. I use the same CC on plenty of other sims and have not had this result. I am just confused because she only looks like this on the main menu before I load into the save. Also, I have only played maybe a minute of in-game time with this sim and have added no other households. I only use this save file to build and she was the sim I created to make the save file. So, I don't think this would be any gameplay-related bug. I've attached pictures of the sim on the main menu, in live mode, and in CAS.
