I need help finding a broken mod or cc.
Hello, can someone please help me with my game? I haven't played Sims since 2024 and I just bought several new expansions packs and updated my cc in June. The first issue I noticed was all the counters had disappeared and were unusable. I have tried everything to fix it like Sim Sweep to find broken cc, sims 4 studio, and better exceptions. I have tried repairing the game several times too. After the most recent update, it is now showing the attached message.Canoe Bug in Gibbi and Sulani
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue where I get a LastException in Sulani and Gibbi Point related to the canoes there. When analyzing the LastException, Deaderpool told me I could ignore the issue, but it’s annoying that the screen freezes briefly while time keeps moving. I’ve attached the LastException.txt file. Sims keep wanting to sit interaction (specifically outdoor bench)
this glitch/bug or whatever it is literally driving me insane so im hoping to make this a team quest if u are also having this issue every few sim minutes, sims (even npcs) just go sits, 99% of the time they choose a bench miles away outside - literally my sim like in oasis springs chooses a bench across the street and all the way on the other side of town. even in san myshuno, they leave their apartment to go sit on a bench. even in a nightclub! all the clubbers wanting to sit on ONE bench specifically, even the bartender! so u may ask "what if u delete the benches they are trying to sit on?", well i tried that. they then try to just sit on chairs inside their home... [crying!] weirdly enough, even when i turn off autonomy, that one specific sit interaction still pushes through (and im guessing its on a timer it gets injected?) | also yes u can see the interaction bubble and can cancel but the sim will try again to go sit i have deleted many mods i thought could be the issue, but i have not succeeded. i need to take breaks in between. i had tried scanning the interaction while their doing it to see if the mod name will come up but its specifically just the seating_sit ea tuning i saw on curseforge in a mod comment that someone else is having this issue and thought it was that mod (it was not) so im hoping to make it a team effort we can figure out together so please if u figure it out by 50/50ing or whatever, please let the rest of us know - thank u!
Is there a mod that spawns employees at registers at lots other than businesses?
Hello. I built a movie theater lot and added cash registers at the front counter. However, the lot would feel a lot more realistic if workers actually appeared at these registers. I was wondering if there's a mod that would allow that? I already know of LittleMsSam's Auto Employees mod and NPCs Everywhere by Kuttoe, but neither of those encompasses cash registers. I have Get to Work, but not Businesses and Hobbies. Thank you.
infinite loading screen
hi guys! i was hoping someone would be able to help me with a problem i’ve been having with my game i recently installed the sims 4 on a new macbook (previously used a windows computer). i typically use a ton of cc, no heavy mods (just mccc, lighting mods, etc.). i created a new save file and didnt run into any issues until the update a few days ago, which essentially broke my game. every time i try to save and exit cas, whether it’s creating a new household or editing an existing one, my game is stuck on an infinite loading screen and i have to force quit. i’ve tried removing certain mods, removing my mods folder altogether, and repairing the game, but nothing works. even when i remove the mods folder and try to create a new save with entirely no cc, i still get stuck with the infinite loading screen. if anyone has advice on how to fix this i would really appreciate it <3 thank you in advance
Burglar Event, but no Burglar?
I've been searching for a couple of weeks now for this problem, but I haven't seen anyone else posting/experiencing this issue. Basically, I'll be playing my game like normal, then suddenly, no notification will occur, but my UI will lock as if there's an active event occurring. It says there's a burglar on the lot, trying to rob us... but there just isn't? This has caused me to lose hours upon hours in my saves as I'm never notified that the event is occurring. I do, in fact, have mods, but I am sure all of them are currently updated and aren't causing this issue, as I've run a day in my game and still had this issue occur at some point. It makes me sad, as I've been looking forward to playing with burglars, but I've just had to have them disabled due to this issue. In Fact, I double-checked, and this issue is starting to occur even when I have burglar visits disabled! This happens in every world after a while. I'm not sure what the problem is. If anyone has any idea/solution Please let me know!! TLDR: Even though burglar visits are disabled, the Burglar event occurs, but there are no burglars and no notifications, locked my UI and makes me have to go back to earlier saves.I disabled Script Mods and still can't load into Main Menu
As the title says, I've been dealing with the game not booting up to the main menu for roughly a week. Updated the cc and script mods that are up to date while deleting the ones that haven't been updated at the time and still have the same issue. It's to the point that I'm gonna completely stop playing this game after all of these useless updates. The other thing that I did as well is repairing the game and deleting the cache files and the game still acts like trash. I'm ready to give up this dumpster fire of a "game" if nothing else help.
Has anyone else noticed this about mod folder loading?
Disclaimer: This is all speculation! So take it all as a personal opinion and not fact. I'm not a developer; I'm just a player lol. Some (uneducated and informal) observations I've made while experimenting with my very modded game: 1. Build-Buy CC loading starts once you click the executable and ends when the Sims 4 logo opening screen appears. During this period, you can see the game gaining memory usage in Task Manager, but nothing will pop up on your screen until the game is done reading all your Build-Buy files. If you have more Build-Buy CC/a weaker computer, this period of nothing popping up will be significantly more noticeable. Vice Versa (Small Folder/Fast Computer = Almost Instantaneous/No Period of Nothing) 2. CAS CC loading starts once the "Sims 4" logo opening screen appears and ends once the loading screen (spinning plumbob) appears. If you have more CAS CC/a weaker computer, the logo will stay on your screen for longer. 3. Everything else starts loading when the loading screen pops up and ends when the main menu appears. Main Point: From my experience, Build-Buy CC takes longer to load than CAS CC**, even when the two share a similar amount of files/only low-mid poly creators are being used. My hypothesis is this difference in loading time is caused by the game loading the Build-Buy CC before the opening screen appears. I think the game's loading times (for modded users) would benefit from making Build-Buy CC load at the "Sims 4" opening screen, just like CAS CC. **This discrepancy is SIGNIFICANTLY more noticeable if you're someone who merges your CC. In my experience, merged CAS CC loads faster than unmerged CAS CC. However, merged Build-Buy CC loads slower than unmerged Build-Buy CC. I also think this difference is a product of the loading order. Has anyone else with a modded game noticed this? Do you agree with anything I said? Disagree? Any other things about the game you've noticed?
