Game looks dull and colors have changed
I FIXED IT!! had to go to manage game and turn off auto HDR was on my Xbox last night and the colors looked fine. I get on today and it’s so grey and dull. I reset my tv setting to be normal but the sims game just looks so bad. My Xbox Home Screen looks normal. The pictures aren’t doing it justice because the phone camera makes it look brighter. When I screen shot it on captures it shows up just like it should look. The needs bars are almost orange and light green
Won’t let me play at all and all saves are gone
when I first click on the game it acts like I’ve never played before, all saves are gone and it gives me a step by step when I need to make a new save. When I try make a new save starting with the household as soon as I click the tick to continue the game freezes then kicks me out. So I can’t enter any worlds, don’t have any of my old saves, can’t make a new game and the game just doesn’t work anymore. someone please help, what is the issue and how can I fix it.
Can’t load into any households in my save on xbox
I cant load into my into my main household (or any other households) in my save, it just boots me back to the world map anytime i try and load into a household. i’ve tried saving the save into a new save file, i’ve restarted my game and console multiple times, i think my save may be corrupted because i’m able to load into households on my other saves, i’m on xbox so no mods or cc involved. i’m really getting frustrated with this as it’s a legacy save that i’ve spent a lot of time on. please fix this.
All Forever Friends event rewards disspeared
Sorry for creating this thread wasn't sure what part to put it in, I uninstalled and reinstalled dining out and seasons as I am having issues with both to try to see if it would help my problem out sadly it has not, but on doing so when I logged back in and went to my household it told me 4 items has been removed as they are not loaded on my console, at first I was unsure what the items was till I noticed the bear and magnets has been removed from the house, I have checked the build mode they are no longer there to buy also the PJ are not in the CAS which is so sad as I never got to try it on my children. So it seems I have lost all the items from the event. I play on Xbox next genLibrary saves deleted
A few weeks ago I tried to save something to the gallery and an error came up that said "library storage full" so I deleted one of my gallery saves so there would be space. When I tried to save it now I had space, it came up with another error saying "a gallery error came up", this normally happens so I just didn't save it thinking nothing of it. A few days passed without playing the sims/going on the gallery and yesterday I went on and tried to look at my gallery. Everything is gone apart from the system gallery such as townies and houses. Is there a fix for this where I get my gallery back? Or is everything just gone sadly. I had lots of unfinished sims and houses from the gallery and would be a shame if it was all gone.loading into older saves when hitting play from the main screen
the game for whatever reason recently has been picking a random save file to load into instead of the most recent, so when you hit play to continue what you've been doing the last time you were on you end up like going back in time have to start the game again and go in from loading a save file then load back into the household to get back on track. I'm on console PlayStation 5 I own all DLC.
Corrupted savefiles: Buildings disappear & lots are unplayable
I play on Xbox series X and have all Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and all but two Kits. I have played more than 1700 hours on my save (I have several saves for the same worldstate). I first noticed that one house in Willow Creek disappeared, but I kept on playing with other households in hopes the bug would be fixed. But it didn’t get fixed, and continued to spread. Now my entire Willow Creek is unplayable and all my saves for this worldstate are ”ruined”. When I enter a lot, there is no house there, and neighboring lots has their default/original houses on them!?! I have tried entering all lots in Willow Creek, and it is the same on all of them now. Sometimes i get Error Code 800, sometimes I can’t enter the lot at all. I have started to save all buildings and sims in my library so that I can place everything in a new save. But I have heard that a new save can get corrupted as well. So I am afraid to do all that work, and risk getting the bug again. From what I have heard, it’s ”For Rent” that might be causing this bug. The more rentals you have, the higher the risk. Also the more content you have, the higher the risk of corruption.Sims 4 Xbox one resizing
My sims 4 on Xbox one was loading and the game went to resize and ea agreement popped up. Reloaded game and I have played all of the event for the reward and now they are all missing but the first event that was given to up. I was setting up for the new event when this happened. I upset with all of the bugs on consoles. Please help I want all of my reward back that I have earned.Loading screen that claims to adjust the graphics
So the loading screen that claims to adjust the graphics on console pops up during gameplay every time it pops up the graphics and items in game becomes worse saving, traveling, and going into cas can cause this issue as well this been happening to me every since business and hobbies came out please fix this issue I tried everything that I possibly can and nothing works sending me to other sites is no good either it just shows me I’m not alone and that the issue for those who are going through this hasn’t gotten resolved sadlyMy sims are walking into the distance and escaping my clutches
When my sims autonomously needed to use the bathroom they would just walk into the distance and leave the map??? Are they escaping the sims 4 and attaining free will? This happened to my grandma and dad sim so idk what the issue is… going to manage worlds and coming back seemed to work. Also my sims are blurred when not naked? And that portrait from life and death just showed like a really stretched out face of my babysitter for some reason… like…Game is unplayable yet again on CONSOLE
I sincerely cannot play my game anymore. Aspirations dont complete. I can’t invite ANY sims to ANY place even those in my own household. My sims are randomly mean to each other even though they have amazing compatibility and high friendship and love between them. I have spent money on packs and it seems like the more i buy the more broken this game is. And the lack of care to console players is apparent. if anyone can help that’d be appreciated.Console and newest 2025 update
I have an Xbox I believe it's a one x or s? It doesn't have a disc slot I know that much. I decided to update my game after it wouldn't let me play it without the update. Then I get news that this new update is broken and will corrupt save files. What do I do? I press the cancell all button to make absolutely sure the update does not continue in my cue. YOU'D THINK that this just cancells every UPDATE in the cue BUT NO. It completely uninstalled my game and all of my packs for some reason. Now I'm stuck redownloading the game and all of my packs for hours and most likely will be forced to update my game either way. Thanks Xbox you really made a good decision with that one. Anyways, does anyone else have this issue? Maybe any reports on whether or not console saves have been corrupted yet? This seems much more common and talked about with PC players than anything.
