Windows and doors occasionally/often glitch into walls for no reason
I'm having this issue where my windows and doors will become part of the wall and I have to go onto build mode and select, and put back down in the exact same spot they were then it's fine, then another window/door will do the exact same any reason why?? I'm not using mods/cc as I'm on console, and build cheats are switched off, proving it's a perfectly fine place to have said window/door without conflicts? It also happens to both inside and outdoor doors

Hi everyone - just making a list of things that absolutely need fixing in build mode for console. CURVED WALLS - firstly, the rounded rooms need a complete overhaul - the flooring always sits diagonally and goes through the wall, the only way to fix this is to hide it with objects. Absolutely ridiculous. The second is windows - there are SO MANY WINDOWS to choose from yet suuuuch a tiny selection for curved walls? Even with cheats, most windows go completely black or just don’t sit right and it’s absurd. thirdly, we should be able to blend curved walls together - why is it so strict?! Most of the time it should be able to work but the game is so **bleep** broken it just.. doesn’t. And it’s so disappointing. I save my game religiously, after losing everything a few years back I backup save save save like a psychopath. So even with that being done - why on earth are my builds completely empty when I come back?! Every. Single. Piece. Of furniture has been deleted and for what reason? I saved my game did I not? It’s just so many wasted hours for NOTHING. finally, my PlayStation 5 controllers (3 of them) all work perfectly, no stick drift, no issues whatsoever. However every single time I play the sims, at one point or another it will glitch HARD. When I’m looking through furniture, it shoots to the right or left when I move the joy stick slightly - this happens for everything, even getting in and out of the menu and even saving, it’s almost impossible to select the right option because it shoots over too fast. I know this is not my controllers because they work perfectly for every other game I have. I could quite literally go on for years about all of the issues going on with this game - but I fear I’ll never be heard. Plus everyone’s on the same page here - this game needs a COMPLETE overhaul. Stop releasing dumb expansion kits that are blatant copies of creators/previous kits. Seriously as a massive company, you need to do better. Your fan base is the ONLY reason you’re still going, treat them the way they deserve to be treated after our endless support for years.Error 34- Constant Corruption of Save Files
I play on Xbox and my save files keep getting corrupted, automatically deleted, and the message Error 34 keeps popping up. This has been going on for a little over a year now. I went through over 5 save files during this time. I thought that I had figured out the issue being I just cannot take photos in game with the camera or phone as I had seen a previous thread saying this and it seemed to have worked for a while or so I thought. I had seen another thread from one of the Community Simmers saying it’s because the xbox doesn’t have enough room to save this but this is the only game on my Xbox and it doesn’t even take up 15% of the storage? I tried deleting almost everything from my library and it hasn’t helped. It seems like this happens around new pack releases but I’m not sure. If anyone has a fix for this I would really appreciate it !An expansion I purchased was removed.
About two years ago, I purchased the "Road to Fame" expansion through the PlayStation Store. This expansion was on PS Plus when it was removed. It was also removed from my account, even though I bought it years ago, back in 2021. I've tried everything, but the expansion still doesn't appear. It doesn't even appear in my purchase history, but I clearly remember when I bought it because it was one of my favorite expansions.Game is unplayable yet again on CONSOLE
I sincerely cannot play my game anymore. Aspirations dont complete. I can’t invite ANY sims to ANY place even those in my own household. My sims are randomly mean to each other even though they have amazing compatibility and high friendship and love between them. I have spent money on packs and it seems like the more i buy the more broken this game is. And the lack of care to console players is apparent. if anyone can help that’d be appreciated.My entire library is wiped
So I play The Sims on PlayStation. I was trying to take my sim and make her base game compatible so that way I could upload her without having to fuss about people not being able to download her because of too many packs. I was in a save file and specifically change Sim mode, when I realized I couldn't save the Sim to my library. It said my library was full so I started deleting a bunch of EA builds that I never used. And then it said it couldn't access the proper servers to save anything to my library. So I figured it couldn't hurt to try and restart the game, but it buffered the closing screen wouldn't go away and there was no way to exit out of it so I had to turn the entire PlayStation off. When I turned it back on everything seemed to be fine I went back into the safe and successfully managed to save the Sim to my library. However my entire library was gone, my builds, households, but most of all I made picture packs for my Sims. Taking photos in The Sims is truly the worst so I dedicated a save slot to taking pictures I then put all the pictures in a room and save that. I never published them because they were for my own decor use. And I constantly replaced that saved file with other picture saves thinking they were safe in my library. Because I never encountered an actual error code that shut the game down I can't restore that version of the game to try and see if my library is on it. And I did try to restore the license as someone else said on here but it seemed to corrupt my save file as it removed anything that wasn't base game CAS from my sim. I did eventually manage to fix it by trying it again. Genuinely don't know what to do I just want my photos back fmlProblem with loading screen/terms acception
I had a problem when I entered The Sims 4: when I tried to press the “press any button to start” option, this screen came up (attached in the picture). I think this might be the terms or some agreement or something similar, but there’s no option to either exit it or accept it. My game has been updated and reinstalled on the PS4. What could be the problem? It has been doing this for 2 weeks, so the game is unusable. I look forward to your reply! Best regards, LiliConsole and newest 2025 update
I have an Xbox I believe it's a one x or s? It doesn't have a disc slot I know that much. I decided to update my game after it wouldn't let me play it without the update. Then I get news that this new update is broken and will corrupt save files. What do I do? I press the cancell all button to make absolutely sure the update does not continue in my cue. YOU'D THINK that this just cancells every UPDATE in the cue BUT NO. It completely uninstalled my game and all of my packs for some reason. Now I'm stuck redownloading the game and all of my packs for hours and most likely will be forced to update my game either way. Thanks Xbox you really made a good decision with that one. Anyways, does anyone else have this issue? Maybe any reports on whether or not console saves have been corrupted yet? This seems much more common and talked about with PC players than anything.Not sure what to call this.
I don't even know if this can be described as a bug but the issue I have been having is as soon as I load into my household, the screen freezes and starts shaking. I cannot interact with the game at all during this, and it lasts about 10-15 seconds. And this has been happening everytime I load into my game for the last 2 weeks. I've also been experiencing more crashes while saving, that has never been an issue for me before. I'd appreciate any info on what is causing this issue and how to resolve it. I'm on PS5 and my game is up to date. Thank you.
