New Update Deleted All of My Save Files
I just hopped on my Xbox One to check out the most recent updates and found that every single save file has been deleted. All downloaded content, thousands of hours of world-building and gameplay over the years - gone. What is this nonsense? Can they even attempt to fix this or am I permanently deleting this game? I’m pissed off beyond belief.
Sims 4 cats and dogs installed but not owned
I own a disc version of the sims 4 bundled with the cats and dogs expansion. When I go into the game, it tells me I don't own cats and dogs, but under manage games and apps it's installed. In game, I only have the option to purchase it. All my other expansions that I purchased digitally work fine. I have my previous saves that show me owning animals, but when I open them it tells me data is missing and when it loads the animals are gone. I tried a complete reinstall from disc but that didn't fix it. Any help is much appreciated!
Missing game data
So I had to reinstall my entire sims 4 game because it kept throwing me out and going to a pixilated screen, but when I reinstalled it, it kept coming up with the message of missing game data. It claimed that I didn't own the get to work expansion when I had made sure that I had definitely purchased and owned it. I've tried everything I can think of that applies to the Xbox console version of the game, including reinstalling it about 5 times. Even after creating a new save file the same issue appears. I only had these issues after the update. Please look into how this might happen as since I'm on an Xbox its more difficult to find a solution.Sims 4 Xbox One update/no ui/ saves disappeared
So here’s the full story. I think my sims updated a couple of days ago/maybe a week. I bought the Growing Together pack and noticed it was giving me issues loading the game where the items that come with the pack weren’t loading in. I got that issue resolved. But then these past few days the game has been giving me more and more issues opening. So I would click it on my Xbox and it would say “the Sims took too long to open” and would bring me back to my Xbox Home Screen. I didn’t think anything of it because after a lot of patience and restarting the Xbox it would eventually load. THEN all day yesterday it started giving me me issues where when I got out of build mode the ui would disappear and when I went back to the main menu it would just be a white screen but you could hear things in the background and again with a lot of patience, quitting the game, and restarting it it would work. And now TODAY I loaded my game up, again gave me issues opening, and when it finally opened the EA agreement thing popped up, made me adjust the screen (which I thought was weird) and the. bam! Game loaded up and all my save files are gone. Anyone having the same issue? I’m so upset and wanted to share my story in case anyone else is going through the same thing. I don’t know if there was a bug with the update but this sucks. I just spent 2 game sessions building my families dream home that they finally earned. 😩😭
Saved over the wrong save console
Ik on pc you can recover saves is that at all possible on Xbox? I have accidentally saved over a year of game play and I’m so absolutely devastated . I’ve lost entire families buildings and progress. The things in my library I’ve made in that save have disappeared from my library as well. Please someone say I can fix this please 😭
Game stuck on loading screen
For almost 2 weeks any time I try to load a saved game to play any household or after creating a new household once I hit play household my game gets stuck on the loading screen, the different tips load and the PlumbBob still rotates but the load bar doesn’t move past like 4/5th filled even after waiting hours. I can’t play any games now I thought with the new game update this would be fixed. I have entirely too much time and money invested in this game for me to not be able to play it. Does anyone know how to fix it?
My Save data is corrupted and unplayable
Since the love struck emergency update I have not been able to load over 1000’s of countless hours of my save data. THIS IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE. Since the most update 2 days ago I can’t even load my new recent save I made because I get a (my save data is corrupted. )It’s unplayable. Thank God I’ve made a save back up but won’t be able to play it until they fix this problem. I know that I can’t be the only person dealing with this on consoles. This issue needs to be fixed. They cannot continue to IGNORE THISPacks
I play sims on my Xbox 1 series x and I have alot of packs bought. When I go to manage game and add ons it shows all the packs which I have bought but in the actual game it only shows a few of them and it doesn't acknowledge that I have bought other ones. I have factory reset my Xbox and i don't have any other accounts just this one and I don't know what to do.
[Resolved] Game Renews on Each Start (Xbox One)
I just installed the Sims 4 on my new (for me) Xbox One. However, every time I run the game, it acts like I'm opening the game for the first time (has me accept the terms, adjust screen, tutorials are reset). My save game remains, however. Any idea what's going on? Update: The issue resolved itself. I believe it may have been a result of my saving and existing to the main menu before closing the game once.Sims not saving as of 21st August 2024 xbox series x
All my save slots changed to autosave and goes back to the last time it saved which was 21st August, I keep trying but it never saves. Ive lost game play so there is no point in playing at all until this bug is fixed. Ive tried offline still the same. Cleared cache etc nothing helps. I have every pack. I am really upset i have played sims 4 since the start and never had this happen before.
Sims 4 PS4 saves disappeared
I'm playing on playstation 4 and for some reason my Save file disappeared, I have never seen this before, I played everyday this week and the only day it keeps saving is August 12. I even try making a new save but it disappeared and I can't even repair it because I don't have that option on playstation 4. Is there anything I can do the next time I make a new save?
Sims 4 Crashes July 2024
I’ve just recently started back playing sims 4 after about a year, - I have Xbox console. All was going well and now I’ve had to constantly reboot, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I have all expansions besides “growing together”, and I did install the new “lovestruck” the other day. I have kits and packs I have tried uninstalling all of them. I cannot play it due to constant crashing. I cannot build, or do game play. I have tried saving multiple different games, I’ve deleted old saved games, I uninstalled all add ons, nothing seems to be working.. super frustrating and a waste of money at this point. ps.. starting today at 2pm est I have now been unable to log on at all or get past the log in screen. It syncs then just stays on the front screen circling
