Can’t access City Living
I’ve just updated my game, and all content from city living is gone. I play on PS5, have no mods or anything. The game crashed as I was playing it, closed the game down, and it says unable to access content, it says on the sims app I own the content, but my ps says I have to repurchase it!
My living city pack map was disappear.
After install the island living expansion pack, my living city pack map was disappear. I am really upset. I have deleted the game and try to reinstall both pack. But the problem still cannot solve. This makes me really consider if I should buy and pack more. Hope Ea could help me find out the solution.
After every pack I buy or download, there's always bugs
I am an Xbox One console player, I've been playing for awhile on console. And it seems like every time I buy a new pack, it bugs my game really bad. I have bought a handful of packs over the last couple of years, most recently, literally yesterday, purchased Horse Ranch expansion pack.I am just now beginning to play it today, and my game is bugging really bad to the point where I am trying to customize the house and go to arrange something or add something to a room.. as soon as I click to place anything, sofas, beds, wallpaper, it does not place and acts as if I can't place it. I tried to move furniture and then it disappeared! I play with bb moveobjects on so I can move furniture/objects where I want them, but that has NEVER caused me problems. In this particular problem, trying to place wallpaper, click and drag to place it will not place it, either. Just goes back to being the white wall. Also, I was going to try to save and go to the main menu and go back in, but it will NOT let me save it at all!! Just stays stuck loading, just as in the picture I am including... so I'm upset that now I'm going to have to start the build all over that I've been working on for hours, including making the 4 Sims I made for that particular build, hours before that.This bug has not happened to me before. But this will probably be the last pack I buy for a long time due to every time I ever buy a pack I want, there's some kind of bug in my gameplay afterwards.. ALWAYS. I hate to resort to this, as I love this game and very much looking forward to new packs, but I have spent SO MUCH MONEY for packs on this game, so until these bugs are under control, I can not justify to purchase another pack.
Library Corruption/Deletion
This is the second time this has happened to me. I try saving something to my library and it says my library is full. Cool, I'll just delete some things. So I do and I can't save anything else still. So at that point it's whatever I'll just continue playing the game and come back later. I eventually close the game and when I come back (since this is the second time), I have a pretty good idea of what to expect when I get a message along the lines of "something happened to this application after it was closed" and "Corrupted data." So I of course check my saves and they're fine, great. I check my library and it's nothing but Maxis. This becomes frustrating when one it's happened before, and two, this means any save file that I retired or replaced, I no longer have those sims, houses, anything. It's fine when I can go and reupload my sims and builds that already exist in game, but what about the sims I never got to add to my game? The builds I never got to finish? Sometimes I'll play with genetics for a couple and make their kids beforehand so they don't have outrageous looking children, or I'll make sims so my already existing sims can make friends, have relationships, etc., I'll make townies to add more to the game, and I'll save a build so that I can finish it some other time and overwrite the file for whatever extra story I wanna make. Then of course the typical houses, venues, and things that can be searched up. I can't search up what I hadn't published No where can I find my library storage limit. I don't know when it's full and going to corrupt until it happens. So I then have to take the time to hurry and save all my households across all my save files. Favoriting things hardly works either. I don't want to fill up my library, so my next solution would be to favorite things right? Only a fraction of what I favorite ends up in my favorites. When I was a new player I went on a favoriting spree, when I go to look through it and see what I wanna do with these sims and builds, I see not even half of what I thought I added. Not in my library either. So I learned early on to just save to my library, but now it seems I can't do that without an eventual repercussion. I really hope this is just an awful bug and not an intended mechanic. Not sure if it's because I deleted Maxis items. I don't use or want those sims or builds in comparison to the things I saved, actually wanting them to be there. I genuinely have no idea why this occurs besides me having a full library.
Sims 4 Xbox One update/no ui/ saves disappeared
So here’s the full story. I think my sims updated a couple of days ago/maybe a week. I bought the Growing Together pack and noticed it was giving me issues loading the game where the items that come with the pack weren’t loading in. I got that issue resolved. But then these past few days the game has been giving me more and more issues opening. So I would click it on my Xbox and it would say “the Sims took too long to open” and would bring me back to my Xbox Home Screen. I didn’t think anything of it because after a lot of patience and restarting the Xbox it would eventually load. THEN all day yesterday it started giving me me issues where when I got out of build mode the ui would disappear and when I went back to the main menu it would just be a white screen but you could hear things in the background and again with a lot of patience, quitting the game, and restarting it it would work. And now TODAY I loaded my game up, again gave me issues opening, and when it finally opened the EA agreement thing popped up, made me adjust the screen (which I thought was weird) and the. bam! Game loaded up and all my save files are gone. Anyone having the same issue? I’m so upset and wanted to share my story in case anyone else is going through the same thing. I don’t know if there was a bug with the update but this sucks. I just spent 2 game sessions building my families dream home that they finally earned. 😩😭
My Save data is corrupted and unplayable
Since the love struck emergency update I have not been able to load over 1000’s of countless hours of my save data. THIS IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE. Since the most update 2 days ago I can’t even load my new recent save I made because I get a (my save data is corrupted. )It’s unplayable. Thank God I’ve made a save back up but won’t be able to play it until they fix this problem. I know that I can’t be the only person dealing with this on consoles. This issue needs to be fixed. They cannot continue to IGNORE THIS
I cannot load a specific save on my Ps5 edition.
I’ve been trying for a couple days to get a specific save to load off of my PS5 Sims 4 edition. I have gotten two other loads to play, but just not the specific one I want to actually play. I have restored licenses four times, I have restarted my PS5 countless times and I have even deleted the Sims 4 and re-downloaded it. I also tried instead of using autosave to load, I used the last manual save I made. For about a week, I have been having problems with loading in, but I was able to shut down the game, restart the ps5 and do it again. Probably did that once or twice every session. Now it just straight up won’t load at all. Last time I played, all of my sims were frozen in place and resetsim was not working. It gets stuck at a specific spot in the load screen (see picture). A couple days ago, I did buy the spa day pack and then there was a giant update after I downloaded that for more context. Not sure if that’s a coincidence or if the new update was causing issues? Maybe it’s because the save is a legacy and there’s just too much stuff going on for the game to handle? There are other things I have tried to do in the actual game using a couple of different sims to get their way into the build at least and try to “switch control to” the other household. TL;DR I have exhausted all efforts known to myself that would work to get a specific save to load. Seeking out other options, people who have had this issue, or for EA to step in and fix the game.
Just bought lovestruck on sale. Broke my legacy game.
Lovestruck not working with my legacy saves. I make lots of saves (I rotate between 4 saves as a trauma response from a corrupted Morrowind file in my 20s). I tried loading them all and all saves are broken. I've tried everything, clearing cache, deleting save data. Uninstalling and reinstalling Laundry day and HS years allowed me to open save without error but game is laggy and Sims bugging and glitching so bad it's unplayable. Currently just uninstalled everything and hard reset Xbox and unplugged for five minutes. Going to try a fresh install and report back. My heart is broken. I have only ever played one game and world. The next day I played again and got the same save data incomplete except now I can't load into the game at all. Sims resets and T poses
Since the last update, games been working like a dream for me, however the past week or so since the life and death update Ive noticed that I'm getting a lot of automatic SIM resets and T poses. Like I'll have a queue of fairly normal things for Sims to do and they'll cancel the first half way thru stand idle for a moment then T pose and all the things ice asked them to do get cancelled off. It used to happen on the odd very rare occasion but now it's like as soon as a SIM has more than 3 things queued everyone just resets Anyone else?
Initial loading screen stuck/extremely slow when online
Im on XB1, all packs, all updates. When I start the game while online, the initial loading screen (when loading the game itself, not a savegame) will always get stuck on about a quater of the way, sometimes it will move again after a loong time and sometimes it wont at all. If I start the game while offline this wont happen, no getting stuck and initial loading is waaay quicker. While its good that at least it always works offline, this of course means I cant use any online features while playing, since even if I reconnect after the initial load the game wont go back online completely (meaning the main menu will change to its online view but the gallery still wont show up and things like the reaper event wont work) and wants a restart which is obviously unhelpful. I also tried to "connect EA account" thinking that might get the game completely online again but everytime I click it the game crashes. So for now I pretty much can only play offline, which sucks.Missing Build Mode Items
After the last update and downloading Life &Death pack I no longer show any tile from the For Rent pack. The game still recognizes I own For Rent but the Low Tiled Mosiac for walls in the tiles category is no longer available even though my home has this swatch in my build. Any one else experiencing this.
Sims 4 cats and dogs installed but not owned
I own a disc version of the sims 4 bundled with the cats and dogs expansion. When I go into the game, it tells me I don't own cats and dogs, but under manage games and apps it's installed. In game, I only have the option to purchase it. All my other expansions that I purchased digitally work fine. I have my previous saves that show me owning animals, but when I open them it tells me data is missing and when it loads the animals are gone. I tried a complete reinstall from disc but that didn't fix it. Any help is much appreciated!Internet problem
Hello, I have a problem. I have an internet connection but in the game they tell me that I'm not connected! I can't use water or the lights. Everything that works with the internet doesn't work. I've tried to restart the console, uninstall the game and a thousand other things but it still doesn't work! Can someone help me?
