ps5 problems
had so many problems with all of the updates lately i can’t play at all. firstly i’ve tried to open the game and it lets me get to the family bit before the loading screen but then it just gets stuck on the plumbob. i’ve tried multiple times but won’t let me access the game. then tried deleting the game and reinstalling everything which finally it let me in but then says stuff like game content has been deleted or not available. i can see some of my builds have been deleted and replaced with the original buildings on the game and most of my family have no clothes or hair so i think the problem is coming from the packs i have installed. but im on playstation so have no mods installed and its so frustrating because i haven’t been able to play for like a month and im worried that if i do play (rebuild my houses or family’s) that either it will get fixed and it will be for nothing or i fix it and it wont save. plus i dont think ill be able to fully fix eveything right at the moment anyways considering my sims are bald and naked gives me the impression that the packs i have bought aren’t currently in my game/ not working. anybody else having the same problem and have any advice?Game packs
Hey guys so I got the update on my ps5 it kicked 11 packs I have and they aren’t showing up anymore. I tried deleting the whole game and redownloaded all the packs and the 11 still aren’t showing up in my game at all. It says installed everywhere and I can’t download it from my ps app onto my console either. Any advice would be great thank you :)))
DLC content disappearing
Multiple packs that have purchased have been getting removed and items from my creations are being deleted. I paid for these items and I have owned them for months/ years! what is going on? it's like you all are deleting the packs and their content. I worked so hard on my creations I could cry rn 😢
Xbox one gallery issues
Hi guys I need some help. Im by no means a sims 4 technical wizz especially when it comes to the xbox. My sister turned 13 in january and just created an ea account to play on xbox, she tried to go onto the gallery but it popped up with a box saying “you cannot see content other people make because of how your account is set up”. So I removed all restrictions off of the xbox account so it definitely cant be that. And her EA account I tried to manage but all that comes up is about money for expansion packs etc nothing about the gallery. Is there anyone who knows how to resolve this and allow her to access the gallery?
Constantly repeating Error code CE-113505-5 in the downloads Playstation 5.
Also some of my add ons have the shopping Icon on them even though I own them. I think it's an account problem? I've tried absolutely everything on my end and nothing fixes this. Completely deleting and reinstalling everything, wiping all my saves and library, renewing the license, clearing the PS5 cache/repair, and the problem continues.
Nature's Calling Event Rewards disappeared from inventory
Hello I'm playing Sims 4 on PS4 and all of a sudden my rewards from the "Nature's Calling" event have disappeared. The tattoo is not showing up, the bathing suit is gone when I go to the main event menu it says I've collected all my prizes but they're not in my inventory. I can't find an answer anywhere.
Can’t Save Game Xbox
Whenever I am playing a household, I run into the same bug in CAS. It happens when I use the cas.fulleditmode cheat and try to add a pet to my household. I can’t access the menu to save my game. I was able to click Done and get out of CAS, but in Live mode I also cannot access the menu to save. Whenever I click on Manage Worlds, it lets me select which save file I want and then doesn’t actually save. This has happened to 2 of my families and it makes the game unplayable.Can I transfer my save file from ps4 to pc?
ive been playing on legacy challenge for months now and im on gen4 and it's probably the most effort ive ever put in a family lol. Problem is that im getting rid of my ps4 (that's what I used to play the legacy challenge) and buying a gaming pc. So can I like transfer my save file to my pc? It occurs randomly during gameplay on my console after a few hours. What happens when the bug occurs? In the middle of gameplay the game stops suddenly and I get a blue loading screen with spinning plumbob and a message that says "We are updating your graphics settings so that you can continue to enjoy playing The Sims 4". What do you expect to see? If there is something I need to change on my console settings myself, I expect it to tell me what to do to avoid this happening. I haven't changed any settings myself and can't find any mention of this message anywhere affecting others. I've done a console reset twice and reinstalled all my content twice. I've power cycled numerous times. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. It started a few months ago around the time I started to get a lot of crashing on save and exit and sometimes on travel or CAS then eventually on loading too. I already mentioned this on the feed about crashing on save and exit but it was suggested the 2 things weren't linked. It started after installing cottage living if memory serves me correctly. I'm extremely unhappy with the stability of the Sims 4 especially after purchasing a next gen Xbox specifically for this game after my Xbox one couldn't cope with all the content I had, it works fine for it's new owner with several games installed. I've had months of crashing on my brand new console and the feed on that subject has had no serious engagement from the Sims team, I've even reached out directly. I'm trying to get to the bottom of it myself but a lot of the research I'm doing mentions that graphics issues can cause crashing. So I want a definitive answer from devs or someone on the subject. I've spent so much money but every day I have issues, it takes 3 attempts to load my game now and I often have to restart my console in the middle of loading as it freezes. I play around 4/5 hours every single day. The 2 things did start around the same time so instead of putting up with the message I'm trying to get it resolved. If there is something that I need to change on my console to avoid this then I need to know, I've had enough of it now. If it's not linked to crashing then ok, that needs investigation for all of us separately as we have already reported. But everything I'm reading says graphics issues are a big factor in crashing. I had no problems with my brand new console before Cottage Living. I'd uninstall it if I hadn't used it in so many households. Edit by PoptartJuniper: Added tags, adjusted title.
Recycler
Anyone else having issues with the recycler? I've been trying yo use it for the last 3 days and nothing happens. The list of household items does not pop up, my sims get stuck and won't move. I'm unable to speed up and when I exit out to manage worlds the loading process take way to long. I have tried everything to resolve the issue except uninstall.
