Split Fiction PC Graphical Glitch
My partner and I have been trying to play and it seems super fun, but we've only gotten past the first boss, because as soon as we get to the open area with sand dunes and wind blowing, her game starts "glitching" with the screen flickering as though the sand effects or something are off. Has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix?
stuck in Demo mode after purchase (PS5)
Bought Split Fiction and fully downloaded then it still states that it’s only the demo on main menu. I’ve tried Deleting app and redownloading, tried playing through demo and still ends at the end. Tried hitting purchase and it just gives me”Play” option. Waited a couple days and still only has demo option.
Split fiction Error: “Content download in progress” on PS5
We have had this issue after the first chapter where a loading screen came up with “content download in progress”. We waited the 15ish minutes for it to complete. But the same thing has happened after the second chapter. This is not normal… CM edit: edited title for clarity.
I can’t play Split Fiction with my friend on PS5 Error Code: 108-0 or 108-3
Hey guys, I can’t play Split Fiction with my friend together. We both play on Ps5 and both of us have the game. We try to play the game since release and till this day were not able to do so. We can load into the game and see the first scenes where the two arrive and also when Mio comes into the other's world. From there we come to the purple loading screen and one of us is then kicked. We don't know which of us because it says both for me and my friend that the other player has left the session. We get the same Error code over and over again and it’s really frustrating. The error code is: 108-3 or 108-0. We‘ve tried so many things like restart the game, restart the ps5, link and unlink our EA Accounts, delete the Game or play with the friends pass. We don’t know what to do from here so I hope you guys can help me fix this.
split fiction Constant screen stuttering
HI reporting this problem for a friend, Basically he's game constatly stutters for no good reason he has enough vram, his fps isn't low, drivers are up to date and all other games run fine its just split fiction that runs terribly. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
88 percent downloading friends pass
Hi everybody maybe someone had this problem. I play split fiction with my son. I bought full on Xbox , he plays ps5 friends pass. After killing second boss (cyber ball or eye) in his screen ( ps5 friends pass) start download data and it begins from 88 percent and even after almost 2 hours waiting it was still 88 percent Can someone help with this?Split fiction, Chapter Factory Entrance, Moving Box/Container Puzzle BUG
This problem was earlier descriebed in the discussion "Factory Entrance? mismatching timing". We have already updated the entire Window system, graphic drivers, verified the game integrity on Steam, turn off any unnecessary tabs/programs on task manager. We’re trying to play on weekdays, going to other levels and started the chapter from the beginning, but the issue has not been solved. On the other levels and puzzles everything is perfect, but when it comes to moving boxes we're stuck again and out of sync. When I explode the grenade near the blue field, my friend can not get through and jump because she does not see the hole. Please help us if possible. We were looking forward to play this game but the adventure stopped.
PS5 fully crashes after 10 Minutes playing Split Fiction
Good Morning ! I've been trying to enjoy the new game with my friend for the last few days, but there is no way to play it more than 10 minutes in a row without the PS5 fully crashing forcing me to do a manual reboot and rebuild the database before i can relaunch the game for 10 more minutes of playtime. We have both bought the full version of the game, and both of us are playing on PS5. I have already tried deleting the game and DL'ed it again. and went through all the possible repairs in the PS5 safe mode (cache delete, rebuild, etc) It's the only game where this happens, whether online or single player (I've tried various others for long periods of time to discard hardware issue or overheating from the console), and the first time I get a crash where the console just turns off without any error message. Please help, we can't wait to get back in the adventure ! Thanks a lot !Shuts down PS5 randomly
Same issue as many others have reported. Downloaded game, played on local, shutdown PS5 without warning in about an hour. Dragon Age does this too. Both EA games. Saw reports of others as well. Not sure if it is a coincidence, but this seems to be a game/company issue. Not a console issue. No other games I've played have this issue. All normal "fixes" attempted. PS5 is clean and well vented. Scared to play any other EA games until these fixes are actually done as I don't want to risk actually damaging my console.
Split Fiction (PC) - Error 103-40010000 HELP
Was working fine 2 days ago. I'm on PC. I'm launching the game on Steam. I AM LOGGED ONTO THE EA APP. When i click Play online - Host EA server, it says: Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your Internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and tray again. Result Code: 103-40010000 I CAN'T PLAY THE GAME PLEASE HELP ME! EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKING FINE BESIDES THIS!

I keep getting error code 103-40010000 when trying to play online with Split Fiction. This is on PS5 and Xbox. I’ve rebooted the router, tried several different DNS, cleared cache, rebuilt data base, restored licences, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, made sure my account is suspended or banned, not that it should be. i can play other titles, such as it takes two etc is anyone else experiencing this? I have reported it to EA, but have no solution as yet
Split Fiction Crashing Issue "fatal error" on Steam (friend's pass)
hope you're doing well. I am experiencing an issue with Split Fiction on Steam and would appreciate your assistance. Issue Details: Platform: Steam (PC) Error Message : fatal error Recent Hardware Change: Today, I upgraded my RAM. I previously had 12GB (3 sticks, all double-sided), and I added a 4GB single-sided stick. Could this mismatch be causing instability in the game? Description of the Problem: The game used to crash at the same spot consistently showing the fatal error thing. I used to check my task manager and I see my ram is almost 100% but this time after adding the ram I tried so many times only once my cpu was a bit almost 100% but with the other tries task manager info were fine. However today, I was able to skip that section, but after playing for another minute, it crashed again. Additionally, when I click "Play," Steam notifies me that I should update my GPU drivers. My GPU is outdated (version 475), while your recommended version is 536. However, I have previously played demanding games like Sekiro, Elden Ring, and Assassin’s Creed without any issues despite requiring updated drivers. Unfortunately, upgrading my GPU is not an option due to financial constraints. I would appreciate any advice on possible fixes or optimizations to improve stability. I ALSOOOO lowered my settings from the beginning System Specifications: CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GTX 670 (Driver version 475) RAM: 16GB total (12GB double-sided + new 4GB single-sided) OS: 10 Please let me know if there are any workarounds or settings I can adjust to resolve this issue. I started the game Wild Hearts. At first the menu was choppy and attempting to even watch the initial cut-scene was impossible. doing some research I found that you need to set the audio to 5.1 surround sound. After I did that the menu and cut-scene play just fine no matter what other settings I change. Looking around online I'm not the only one with the crash issue after the first cut-scene most people in other forums seem to be people that played the game when it first came out and went to try to do a second play-through and pretty much just gave up on the idea after it crashed. They seem to pretty consistently say this wasn't an issue for them the first time around. To be clear from a hardware perspective I have an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D an NVIDIA 5090 and 96GB of RAM so there really shouldn't be a hardware issue here. I have standard Win 11 pro without any OS mods. I have run through all the standard attempts at fixing this. I have reinstalled the game from scratch. Attempted to validate the the game files through steam. Attempted to clear multiple areas of caches. Made sure I was up to the latest on Windows updates / driver updates. reinstalled graphics card drivers. made sure to validate windows updates. made sure to validate the VC++ libraries are installed properly. Made sure to run everything as Admin. I have even spent quite a few hours updating various settings to see if this changes anything. I tried lowering the graphics settings down to nothing to see if that would help. There are some rabbit holes out there around NVIDIA settings to try and I have attempted to flip those on and off in various combinations. There are some posts that talk about disabling your services for audio and that doesn't seem to matter. I know I had some issues with various games with the old Nahimic service where disabling that magically fixed the game. Though my new computer doesn't seem to use that. To be clear so far I have played Forspoken, banishers ghosts of new eden, Frostpunk 2 and Roblox all without any problems and all with the settings cranked to max. I'm fairly certain that banishers is a more intense game on the system. Though maybe someone more familiar with Wild Hearts code would know why this happens. I attached a dxdiag of my computer for reference since looking at the other EA forum where another person has this same issue that seems to be what support wants to see.
