Xbox one issues
I'm not sure if there was an update today or not but I logged into the game went to load my game and it said your neighborhoods have been uninstalled or disappeared you cannot save the game 🙄 or all data will be lost... I'd like to also know for the last few weeks I've had a lot of crashing Constant saying that it's disconnecting from the internet or the game will freeze upon lunch and I have to relaunch it again... (not a Internet issue)
CAS Menu Problems
After the new update, whenever I open the CAS menu, I cannot move my cursor anywhere when I click the everything section. On the everyday outfit, I can't click on anything in the section for all of the clothing, if I go to the formal outfit, I can click on the section for everything. This problem occurs with every menu, including the hair and facial features menu.
Bridgerton bundle items not showing up in build/buy mode on PS5
When I first bought the bundle, the pack showed that it had downloaded into my game, but the extra items (like the piano and archways, and such) did not add into my game until I closed and restarted the game and they appeared, but upon opening the game again, now the bundle windows (specifically the ones with the fencing in the middle) entirely are not showing up in my game anymore.Game crashing
I had the CAS issue the moment the update was complete, I found a work around by filtering colours and packs but then once I got into playing the real issues started, the doctor career and acting career were unplayable, so I started a new save and then the crashing started (I’ve always had crashing issues but they were pretty few and far between) so I restarted and it lasted about 10 minutes and then it crashed again so I restarted and long story short I can’t make it 5 minutes without crashing so the game is completely unplayableWont work on CAS all option
https://share.icloud.com/photos/06dEGrxCs2Sx27xKCb7Xqw2KQso I purchased the royalty DLC as well as the Bridgerton ones and ever since when I try to go on create a SIM and I click on all my all options to show every selection for example if I click on all to show all the hairstyles I’ve got it freezes it doesn’t let me scroll down or anything, but I can go back and I can click on and say shirts and it will work on shirts but not on all and it’s just bugging me. I’ve tried reinstalling the game I’ve reinstalled all the DLC of hard reset my Xbox. I’ve deleted the cash and the save data. I’m stumped on what else to do now.
Add CAS issues to all the new update problems (PS5)
So, in addition to crash issues and other problems plaguing console since the new update, May 2026. CAS is broken, you can’t scroll through items if the sim already has something equipped in that category, unless the item is in the top section. So, “Show All” for each item category is useless. And, the only way I’ve found to be able to select new items, is to either know exactly which pack it came from and select to only show those items or pick an item in a different category - ex. if your sim is wearing a tank top, but you want to change color or pick a different one, you will have to equip a jacket or blouse then go back to the tank tops to be able to scroll. This is happening on everything - body features, accessories, and clothing.The Sims 4's new update ruined my game.
Ever since this new update for Sims 4 came out i've been unable to continue my current game. My sims and everything else are untouched as far as i can tell, i haven't had a single notification telling me that there was any corruption happening, i can still load into my current save but can't do anything. If i try to play any household i get kicked off the game halfway through the loading screen and told to report an error. I can enter an old save, but most are so old that i would have to start all over again after playing for 1585 hours, so that would be a waste of all the time and effort i put in for this game.Cannot drag items to and from sim’s inventory
Playing on PS5 since the May 12th update I’ve been unable to drag things into my sim’s inventory and out of it. So I cannot drag books into it or move items from one sim to another. This seems to be a grab issue as this also means I cannot grab onto paintings on the easel to move around either the house or into the inventory.
Cannot Select Options in CAS
I have a PS5, use the PS4 version of the Sims 4. After the new update, I cannot select any options in CAS if I click Select All. Sometimes when I choose sub categories, it does the same thing where it won’t let me scroll or select any. I can’t even tab through the options. What can I do?Screen not working when going in and out build mode
When going out of build mode the bottom bar doesn't come up and disappears. Going to manage world doesn't fix this either as the screen goes black, going to main menu also doesn't work as the screen goes white. To fix this you have to completely reload the game.Unable to go Online error
Even after the recent update on Xbox S, the gallery and marketplace still don't work. Every time I try to open them, it says I'm offline, my internet connection doesn't work & my account is also not connected to my EA account". Context: So I updated my game on the Xbox S today (about 19 GB which took hours to download). When I first logged into the game, I was actually able to open, browse and download some lots from the Gallery. I was also able to browse the marketplace for the first time. I thought, finally! Great! So I thought these issues were finally fixed. Because before this update, I was literally unable to check the Gallery & Marketplace AT ALL before this update. Then I close the game because I can't have it open 24/7. Same issues again. The Sims 4 always says I'm offline and my Xbox/account is not connected to my EA account for a very long time now. I've checked many times and know that my internet connection is fine. My Xbox/sims 4 account is also already linked to my EA account. I even recently unlinked my Xbox account (which I can't do again until months from now as EA's rule) from EA to make sure. I also suspect that saving lots and placing lots/anything from the gallery will also not be working well again. It's like nothing else works in this game unless you just ignore everything/others great creations from the Gallery and only play with the base game content. Think I've tried everything on my end just to fix these issues, but your game is just a broken mess. I'm sorry but this is just ridiculous at this point. Even after a huge size update, the gallery and market place still don't work. I'm always told my console is offline and not connected to my EA account when both of these are not true. Overall I really want to play the Sims 4 especially since I bought some packs during the sale since the base game is lacking, but there are always technical issues that really sucks the fun out of my experience. I don't have a PC so the console version is what I'm stuck with for now.Build Mode with Packs - PS4
*Console* Although all my packs no longer show up on the main page upon start up (as if I just downloaded them) , all my build mode items reset every time I log on. So for each category, I have to open/close/open it so all my items sort normally rather than “new items” on top. Essentially, all my build items that come from packs are listed as “new items” every time I start up the game. *EDIT* This was posted prior to 5/12 update, but is still an issue on console after 5/12 Version 2.33 Update.Unable to connect online
I know this has been an issue for a while. I've had this issue on and off for a good few months now. But now when I load in I try to connect online but when I do it says that i am unable to as an EA account is not linked. when i go to my settings and press link account it says my account is already linked and to reset. I do so and this cycle repeats. I am unable to access the gallery, events or the marketplace. During one of the events i missed out on gifts because of this exact issue. I've tried resting my game and console, but nothing works. My other games work and it's only the Sims 4 i'm having issues with. So it's like a Sim 4 issue and not an xbox network one. I am also having issues opening the game, almost every time i have to try and load it around 3 or 4 times or load into another game before being able to open and load into the sims 4, unsure if this issue may be related in a way. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Missing Content From Marketplace (Xbox)
I've noticed since the introduction of the marketplace, a few stuff packs are missing from my in game store. No content went missing from my actual game, but I couldn't find the butler pack when I was interested in buying it. There should be 20 stuff packs and 4 don't show up for me, regardless of if there are filters or none. Vintage Glamour Stuff - unowned My First Pet Stuff - owned Moschino Stuff - owned Tiny Living Stuff - owned Also attached photos of how they look on my marketplace. It's not too big of a deal since I can just go grab what I need from the Xbox store, but I'd still like to be able to preview the content to confirm it has stuff I genuinely want before purchase. And I'm not sure what else is possibly missing from the game packs and kits sections. Atp, it'd be awesome if the marketplace could just be removed, it's so wonky and not nice to navigate.
