Game looks dull and colors have changed
I FIXED IT!! had to go to manage game and turn off auto HDR was on my Xbox last night and the colors looked fine. I get on today and it’s so grey and dull. I reset my tv setting to be normal but the sims game just looks so bad. My Xbox Home Screen looks normal. The pictures aren’t doing it justice because the phone camera makes it look brighter. When I screen shot it on captures it shows up just like it should look. The needs bars are almost orange and light green
Build mode- Can't go back.
PS5 user The last few times when I have been building a fence, wall or similar item in build mode, I click the circle button to go back to do another task on the build, but it won't return to the other option in build mode, so I am stuck with the fencing or wall tool. This is making building impossible. The issue is unlikely to be my controller, as circle works perfectly fine on other games and when navigating the games options- this is just an issue on build mode. Has anyone encountered this and know of any fixes? I attempted to change some of the options in the UI and then reset to try and reset the game, but this didn't work. I have 400 hours in the game and have encountered this a couple of times in the past, but it usually resolves itself.
Won’t let me play at all and all saves are gone
when I first click on the game it acts like I’ve never played before, all saves are gone and it gives me a step by step when I need to make a new save. When I try make a new save starting with the household as soon as I click the tick to continue the game freezes then kicks me out. So I can’t enter any worlds, don’t have any of my old saves, can’t make a new game and the game just doesn’t work anymore. someone please help, what is the issue and how can I fix it.
Game Crashes When Trying to Save (PS5)
It's so frustrating. I might be able to save once or twice while playing before saving triggers a crash. Doesn't matter if I'm away from the lot, on the lot, in Build Mode, in Create a Sim. I have cleared the cache and rebuilt the database. Has not helped. I have uninstalled the game and all packs/kits to reinstall. That didn't help. And I have every single piece of DLC possible. I did not have this problem before the last update. It's hard to imagine it comes from something else. Makes it so hard to play. You have to save constantly or if you get a crash you lose progress. And then you have to go through the long process of restarting. It feels like I spend more time loading back into the game than I actually get in playing.Can’t load into any households in my save on xbox
I cant load into my into my main household (or any other households) in my save, it just boots me back to the world map anytime i try and load into a household. i’ve tried saving the save into a new save file, i’ve restarted my game and console multiple times, i think my save may be corrupted because i’m able to load into households on my other saves, i’m on xbox so no mods or cc involved. i’m really getting frustrated with this as it’s a legacy save that i’ve spent a lot of time on. please fix this.
All Forever Friends event rewards disspeared
Sorry for creating this thread wasn't sure what part to put it in, I uninstalled and reinstalled dining out and seasons as I am having issues with both to try to see if it would help my problem out sadly it has not, but on doing so when I logged back in and went to my household it told me 4 items has been removed as they are not loaded on my console, at first I was unsure what the items was till I noticed the bear and magnets has been removed from the house, I have checked the build mode they are no longer there to buy also the PJ are not in the CAS which is so sad as I never got to try it on my children. So it seems I have lost all the items from the event. I play on Xbox next genDLC Disappeared
I've got an Xbox one - I went to go play my game the other day, when opening my save it said that content was missing, and that I was missing packs that were used in the save. I went to the manage game and add ons section all my packs were still listed. So I restarted the game and the console both multiple times to see if that would help - but still registered as missing content. I noticed that I was also getting store notifications for packs that I have purchased and owned already. After checking on here, I went back to the manage add ons section, selected all and uninstalled the packs. This caused all the packs that the game thought was missing to completely disappear from my list of add-ons. I reinstalled the few remaining packs (it seems the ones that I have purchased this year remain) in the hope that might job the programs memory. So now that majority of my game has completely disappeared - so 42 of my packs/kits, and only 9 remain. How do I get the rest of my packs back - especially considering they have fully disappeared from my add-on section.Library saves deleted
A few weeks ago I tried to save something to the gallery and an error came up that said "library storage full" so I deleted one of my gallery saves so there would be space. When I tried to save it now I had space, it came up with another error saying "a gallery error came up", this normally happens so I just didn't save it thinking nothing of it. A few days passed without playing the sims/going on the gallery and yesterday I went on and tried to look at my gallery. Everything is gone apart from the system gallery such as townies and houses. Is there a fix for this where I get my gallery back? Or is everything just gone sadly. I had lots of unfinished sims and houses from the gallery and would be a shame if it was all gone.Missing DLC
I know Sims console is the most glitches game in the world, but I come to peace with that what I am not in peace with is having to buy expensive packs then having to buy them again so I have an old Xbox that runs every game slowly, of course one of them being Sims and occasionally it will crash or whatever but today was different. I noticed a few of my games weren’t loading so I decided to reset my Xbox and re-download my games again. I read out the sins and I noticed a lot of packs or missing. I uninstalled it and reinstall it again to make sure in a lot we’re still missing I checked, and it shows that I have to re-buy them again. I already spent hundreds of dollars on the game and you’re telling me I have to spend more absolutely not. I hope this reaches someone that can help me but for now I will not be supporting EA or anything that they do. They already took so much money from me.Settings and UI issues since June
I have sims on the ps5 and for a few months now around June time everytime I open the game the user agreement needs agreeing to and also the screen size needs setting, I've played with the settings on my console and that doesn't help but also it keeps showing me tips or features it thinks are new despite having them for years (e.g it pops up with the tiny living house and haunted house in manage worlds despite already having placed and replaced them , i have also turned all tutorials and help off in the settings ) its as if the game forgets ive had these things for years and the fact ive turned off all help and tutorials 🙃. It also loads up the gallery and asks me to sign in everytime I load up the game. Anyone else having similar issues ? 😕
Purchasable Packs Gone
Is anyone else showing all the packs you can buy are showing they are not available for purchase? I went into the Sims store on my PS4 through the game itself and everything is gone all but packs I have purchased. The packs saying "Buy now" which are either on the main screen on the right hand side, or at the top in the store are saying "This pack is unavailable for purchase" I've included a couple pictures to show what I'm talking about.[XBX] Weird things happing with current save
First, when loading my current save, I'm getting a message saying that I'm missing content. When I selected the view pack option, it showed City Living, which is currently installed. Then, when trying to load my current household, the game kicks me back out to manage worlds. It's shows text that it shouldn't be showing. No error code is displayed. When I am able to load my household, my small business as well as all the other small businesses are gone.
Romance bug
The romance bug is back again where all of my sims flirt with everyone and its even worse than the last time. It came back after one of the most recent updates. The last time we dealt with this bug I was able to go back and give all my married sims the loyal trait and that helped out until the bug was fixed. Now since the bug is back, that trait no longer help. My married sims are being disloyal to one another and jeopardizing their relationships. The sims who have a particular set preference are still flirting with sims who are set to not be their type. Its just awful and annoying. Also the romance bar goes down entirely too fast. Which was something me and a few simmers been reached out to you about a long time ago after Lovestruck ep. But that still had not gotten fixed. Please, please fix this so I can somewhat start back enjoying my couples again. Also I don't know what's going on with the graphics but the graphics are getting worse now.
