Uploaded to drive and lost all my progress
Platform: Mac Mods or cc: No Game version: 1.109.185.1230 Splurged and bought some new packs. To spare my Mac I uploaded stuff to iCloud and surprise ... the sims file went along. Now when I launch the game it starts all over :((( I've downloaded the file from iCloud which did nothing. How can I troubleshoot this or is there nothing to be done? What else can I do? I haven't launched the game, exited main page without started playing. Also is the file correctly named? Which Mac laptop is best for Sims 4?
I don't know if this has been asked lately, but I had extremely helpful advice from users on the old forum about this around seven years ago. Last time, Bluebellflora and others pointed me to a Mac Pro 15 inch 2017 16gb, which had two graphic cards - radeon pro and intel hd graphic - and a fan. The Sims 4 has run brilliantly on it and I've been really glad that I got it. Unfortunately after heavy use the hardware is beginning to show its age a bit, even though the Sims still works just fine. So, I am starting to look around at what Mac laptops are available to replace it. I have some specific questions, but any tips at all will be gratefully received. 1. Is M3 good enough or do you need to go M3 pro or M3 max? 2. My current laptop has a fan, but I understand the new ones are all solid state so this is no longer something to think about? 3. Probably this is a stupid question, but I am have a big saved game and I am most concerned not to lose it when I get a new laptop. I back up my current game on an external harddrive. If I get a new laptop that is compatible with this external hard-drive, will I be able to just plug it in and transfer my current save over with no issues? Are there any pitfalls to be aware of when doing this? 4. General call out - what Mac laptop do you have, and do you recommend it? Lot not uploading to the gallery
Hi folks, any other Mac users having a problem uploading their lots to the public gallery? Once I try to upload a lot, the game goes into a crash loop. I need to force-quit and re-start. i was updating the sims4 when it just stopped at "preparing..12.90/12.90 GB," so i contacted ea support and they told me to clear my cache, which i did, but nothing happened. i canceled the update and played offline and the game was so glitchy—like unplayable glitchy. Error after loading sims4 game
Hii all, Since this morning I get this error after loading the sims4: 123:5578902e:b314b28e with the advice to restart the game. I already tried to repair the game and uninstalled and installed the game again but I still get this issue. Since the update I didn't get any errors till now. I play on a Macbook 2019 with the Sonoma 14.5 (the newest MACos version). It keeps updating but never finish
The newest update to the sims 4 keep updating but never finish, i have tried to delete mods, apps and other things on my mac, i have tried to restart but it keeps updating with no finish line. It has been a few days now. I don't know what to do anymore. It will start verifying then update to preparing and then download, but then stops download and go back to verifying. Origin will not launch! - Mac OS 10.13.6
I keep getting a message pop up saying "Well, that didn't go as planned" "Origin encountered an issue loading this page. Please try reloading it - if that doesn't work, restart the client or try again". I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have updated my laptop to the newest version that I am able to download. It will not update to the latest version so I am unable to download the new EA APP so I have to use Origin. Any suggestions? There's hardly anything on this laptop, I just use it to play Sims. I play the Sims 4 on my mac and had to move from origin to the EA app. After downloading everything in, and trying to play the game, it says that in order to play my last saves i needed to redownload all my expansion packs and restart. After trying multiple times it still says it and I'm so confused as to why my downloaded packs aren't in the game despite it saying on the EA app and on the Sims that my packs are owned. I have also tried repairing the game to see if that would work but it didn't. I was wondering if anybody else had this issue or has resolved it and Im literally willing to try anything. My game will not launch
I have tried everything the Menu will launch and open but once I try launch and open the actual game it will not open I have repaired it , uninstall it and re install it, I also removed all of my CC and did it again I repaired and when that did not work I uninstalled it again still nothing.
