Apex freezing my whole laptop
Hello im having an issue where when im launching apex from steam after like 2-3 minutes in the game my entire pc freeze completely. i cant even alt tab or do anything even the mouse cursor don't move the only way to get out is to shutdown the PC with the on/off button. i try to re install the game, update the drivers, lower fps but nothing work it keep freezing every time im in the lobby. I've recently accidently linked my xbox account o a new steam profile(and my discord) unaware that progress is kept to the ea account and that there's a 6 month cooldown. anyone have any advice for getting in contact with ea support? I've tried contacting them on this account and the one I want to reconnect my xbox to but im not even getting the "help received" emails and it's been 2 weeks anyone have any advice for reaching ea support or know someone on the forums I can talk to in order to get help?9Views1like0CommentsHuge fps drops
So I wasnt playing apex for like a year and before everything was smooth, im playing on lowest graphs because i like it that way and i was getting consistent 180 frames, but yesterday i downloaded it again and despite still getting the same 180 frames on same settings sometimes like 7-9 times per game my fps drops to like 10-18 and stays that way for a good couple of seconds very laggy, thats never happened to me, I've tried downloading DDU and reinstalling my drivers and changing settings and it didnt work for me. Im on 32gb ram ryzen 7 5800x and gtx 1070, could someone please help me figure it out so i can play the game please?8Views0likes0CommentsLag spikes
lag spikes and packet loss spikes often occur, this can be very annoying in ranked. I have a wired internet connection (down: 230mbit, up: 70mbit). Im playing in Hungary, Mohacs, PC, EA app, windows 10. My internet is stable and continuous, several measurements confirm this. There is no packet loss during the game and the ping is also very low. The spikes suddenly appear for no reason, the communication between me and the server is interrupted. Whenever I queue into a match, the game freezes on the loading screen or loads me in but within 20-30 seconds it crashes. It also crashing after 10-20 seconds in the settings tab. I have to force-close it every time. I’ve already tried uninstalling GPU drivers with DDU and even rolling back to older versions, but nothing has helped. I also tried a bunch of the common fixes people recommend online, like: Verifying game files / repairing the game through Steam or EA Restarting my PC (and sometimes my router) before launching Disabling fullscreen optimizations / running the game as administrator Different launch options. I have a persistent phantom input / held-button issue that occurs only in Apex Legends. i’m using a DualSense Edge through Steams controller OS. It persists across controller firmware resets, HID (Human Interface Device) reinstalls, cache/config wipes, and GPU driver changes/updates. PC SPECS: GPU-RX 7900XT | CPU 7600X3D | Motherboard ASUS B650 PLUS WIFI | Fan Cooled My specs are more than powerful enough for it to be a hardware issue, and after a day of playing/troubleshooting this points to the issue being server related or patch related. This randomly popped up and became an issue two days ago after the latest Merry Mayhem patch. It does not occur in Steam controller tests or other games such as R5 RELOADED, This strongly indicates profile-side corruption. I need my Apex profile input data reset if possible or maybe patch this? EDIT: After further troubleshooting and testing i’ve found the issue is Steam + Recent patch related. To any Devs reading this or any unlucky soul going through the same problem as me. This problem only occurs when using steam OS for controller input/xinput. I tested this by going to native PlayStation controller input vis PlayStation accessories app and the problem has disappeared entirely. only when i go back to steam does this issue persist. Ho, my name is Pietro i used to play apex a lot in the past, i’m talking about since 2020 to 2/3 years ago, i always played on the same account, my psn account (id: ninna2230), i was around level 400/450, had all the legends, a bunch of skins and stats since season 4. today i wanted to play apex again after a long time, so i went and reinstalled it, but when opening it i was asked to log into my ea account. personally i embee created one, so i did create one (this one where in writing from) with the same email that i used on my psn account with all my progresses, but then, after writing down the code i got sent by email, i received a message on the screen saying i couldnt log in in that account because it was already linked to the psn account (ninna2230, the account i was on while trying to open apex) so i went on the ea site and unlinked the two accounts (my storic psn account and my brand new ea account that i dont know how was linked to the psn account) to then log in form my ps4 in the screen that initially asked me to log into my ea account. so i put the code that was sent on my email in and this time it worked, it let me open apex, except for the fact that i LOST ALL MY PROGRESSES, i got logged in in a brand new apex account, level 1, no legends unlocked, no skins, all stats to 0. im beggin you EA, i need my account back, i played so so so much on it and i even spent money on it, and all of this seems to be gone now i dont know what to do, hope you will be albe to help me9Views0likes0CommentsMissing apex coins bought from Steam

I'm having problems with the game. I haven't been able to enter the lobby for three weeks. It's been endlessly loading and a black screen, followed by a code:net error. I finally got it working recently, but when playing in a team with other players, I often get endless loading screens followed by a code:book error, including for the other player. Dear EA Official, hello. I am a player from China. 2025 marks the seventh year I have been playing APEX. Over these seven years, I have had a very happy time in the game and made many interesting friends, some of whom have even become good friends in real life. So for me, APEX is not just a game; it’s more like a social platform that has helped me find hope to keep going amid the difficulties of real life. However, due to work reasons, the last time I played APEX was from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025. Recently, my friends and I returned to the game. But when I logged in, I was devastated. Initially, when I tried to log in via Steam, it showed that my account had been banned. I had never violated any game rules, so I applied to the official team for unbanning. Even after the unban, I still could not log in. When I tried to log in on Steam with the account named “坂本Lueluelue” (account: zyb_19980131), the game said I needed to register an EA account to play. But when I logged into the EA platform using my Steam account, it showed that my Steam account had been linked to an email starting with 1. Strangely, when I logged into this EA account starting with 1, it clearly showed that no Steam account was linked. However, I only have this one EA account, and when I logged into APEX from the EA platform, my game character was back to level 1, and all the money I had spent, my level, and my friends were gone. I once thought I might have remembered the EA account incorrectly, but when I checked my stats on apex.tracker.gg (which allows logging in via Steam), I found my account. However, it is no longer under my previous name (坂本Lueluelue) and has turned into a string of strange letters. At that point, I was certain my account had been stolen. I have contacted customer service at least five times, but they either said they couldn’t find the account or gave incoherent responses. Platform: PC (Steam) Issue: I am unable to connect to EA servers in Apex Legends on PC. Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) fails to authenticate, preventing the game from launching properly. This issue occurs across multiple PCs and Windows user accounts, so it is not a local PC problem. Steps already taken: Reinstalled Apex Legends via Steam and EA App. Repaired Easy Anti-Cheat using the EAC setup tool. Tested on multiple Windows accounts. Tested on a second PC. Cleared EA App cache. Disabled Steam Input and unplugged controller. Reset networking using netsh int ip reset, netsh winsock reset, ipconfig /flushdns. Disabled IPv6. Synchronized Windows time. Checked Windows services: Cryptographic Services, Windows Event Log, Windows Defender Firewall, Base Filtering Engine, Security Accounts Manager — all running and automatic. Verified drivers; nothing relevant loaded. Turned off TPM and BitLocker. Ran SFC and DISM scans — no integrity issues. Attempted clean boot and multiple network configurations. Observations: Issue occurs on multiple PCs using the same EA account. Controllers previously worked fine; sudden failure points to a corrupted EAC/EOS trust token. All local troubleshooting does not resolve the problem. EA support confirmed that a manual reset of EAC/EOS trust tokens is required but cannot be performed without a formal escalation. Request: I am posting here to request that the Anti-Cheat/EOS internal team review my account and perform a manual reset of the Easy Anti-Cheat/Epic Online Services trust token. This issue cannot be resolved by client-side troubleshooting. Attachments: Screenshot of EAC/EA server connection failure. Logs if requested. Summary: This is an account-specific EAC/EOS trust token failure. All client-side troubleshooting has been completed, and the issue persists. The loading screen claims I have 50-65 ping; however, in-game, I have 100-150. This game is almost unplayable, and it's heartbreaking because I love it so much at its core. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Im sure this has gotten posted a million times in here but every solution I've looked at, doesn't work for me. Every other game is a slideshow basically in these servers where I get insane packet loss and people are just slideshow'ing around my screen. I saw a bunch of people all over twitter have the same issue and it's been going on for like 2 seasons now. Apex is the only game that this happens in and idk if it's because of my ISP's connection to Respawns servers through AWS, or if it's a windows 11 issue. I saw Shiv had the exact same issue on twitter and he said it was because of a latest update in windows 11 that was causing it. If anyone has any idea what it could possibly be, or has a solution that would be dandy because the last two seasons I've actually WANTED to play this game and I barely can because it's just miserable I play on us east and my ping is fine these games, around 30-40ms btw and this even happens in scrims/private lobbiesFuntyWasTaken4 days agoNewcomer13Views0likes0Comments
