How can I stop my sims being unattracted to each other?
I spent 3 hours making 2 sims that are partners living together, but for some reason, they’re very unattracted to each other. I don’t have any turn-ons and turn-offs selected for them. I tried removing it through MC command center, but it didn’t work. What can I do to stop this? It’s messing up my gameplay.
Urn mentions wrong name?
My sims friend died in a fire he started on my lot and I wanted to ‘release his spirit to Netherworld’ However, after clicking the option to do so, he spawns on my lot and the urn still has the option to release him- but, when hovering over the option it mentions my sims name when before it didn’t mention a name at all? Is there any way to fix this? I’ve tried reloading the game already.How to Stop my Sims from Changing When They Go to School
This isn't a bug but it does annoy me. Every time my sims go to school or university, they will change into their Everyday Outfit Slot 1. This happens even if they are already wearing an everyday outfit just a different slot or they are wearing their hot or cold weather outfits. Is there anyway to stop them from changing? It always creates more laundry lol and I spend a lot of time on all their outfits just for them to put on their default one.
sims can't get in their side of the bed
hello! happy new year:) i've had this issue since the last patch update on december 3rd (it randomly happened like 2-5 days after i can't remember) where my sims can't get in their side of the double bed... :') i've updated all my mods and removed every mod that may had conflicts with the bed, like all the mods that added interactions with the bed. i've also tried the 50/50 method. i then thought the issue was me using cc bed so i switched to ea beds and used the business and hobbies double bed, still had the same issue... i've honestly tried everything and i don't really understand what causes this bug to happen! so the thing is, my sims are married and they have no issue sleeping together. the bed is placed in the middle of the room and i tried removing the stuff from the right side to see if anything was blocking the way, none of this was the problem. i've also tried putting the bed in an empty room, in the middle and still had the same issue :') so yeah, i've been putting my sims to sleep this way since then : the one sleeping on the ride side has to go to bed first so they have to climb in and move their way to the right side so the one whos sleeping on the left side can go to bed after ! 😭 iff anyone can help me find a solution i would be really happy and relieved !! thank you so much in advance xrestaurant plot won't open, others will
I've tried resetting cache, gone through the mods better exceptions has been telling me is the problem. And now I'm stuck. on the restaurant zone director and I haven't been able to get off of that. Its been on 10% and nothing else is working.. I really don't want to lose the restaurant I worked so hard top build. Hello, After being logged out of my EA account, The Sims 4 no longer loads correctly. The game gets stuck on the blue loading screen with the green plumbob. Sometimes it returns to the “Select Family” screen, and in other cases the world map does not load at all and appears completely white. I have already tried the following without success: * Repairing the game * Uninstalling and reinstalling the game * Clearing cache (cache, cachestr, onlinethumbnailcache) * Resetting the user folder * Removing all Mods/CC * Running EA App and the game as administrator EA Support has confirmed there are no known ongoing issues and has reported this as a bug, but the problem remains on my end. Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution? Thank you.
My library upload shows misleading info
Ok, so here's the deal. I built a starter shell using base game and Growing Together. I saved the house in my library and there's info that Cottage Living has been used as well. So I filtered the items to that specific dlc in hopes I could replace/remove whatever it is that's been used. But there is nothing, not a single thing, I checked a few times. Apart from a fireplace and a few outside items there is only basic stuff - windows, doors etc, so it's really not that hard to see what's been used, and none of those things seem to be from the Cottage Living. Is there any other way to check used items apart from the filters? Any other suggestions? It's quite annoying and it's not the first time it happend. No mods or cc.
certain household stuck in endless loading screen
i have tried removing all of my mods, i have tried removing my tray files, playing in a new sims folder, moving the sims into a new lot, however nothing has so far worked. i've also tried going into cas and editing my sims, with and without mods and then tried to load the household, and i'm still stuck on the screen. i've tried recovering and paying old saves, i have tried uploading the family to the library. unfortunately, i have yet to find a solution. currently i play on PC. i am on windows 11, on an acer aspire315. any and all help is appreciated, thank you :)
“failed to load saved data” error when downloading from the gallery.
This query is on behalf of a friend: Their lots shared to the gallery, from a particular save file, are yielding a “failed to load saved data” error when either they or others try to download & place them. For context of the trouble shooting list below One of the problem lots is a rebuild of Municipal Muses with a ghost attached to the lot The save file is base game only, using James Turner’s pack disabler. BBB, MCCC, UI Cheats, and Larger Households mods have all been enabled in the save as well, and a CAS background replacer. Trouble shooting notes: Opened a new-ish save, made around the same time as the save file ❌ Place Municipal Muses (new version) on Municipal Muses lot ❌ Place Municipal Muses (new version) on a different lot ✅ Save OG Municipal Muses to the library ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses on the Municipal Muses lot ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses on a different lot Opened the oldest save I have ❌ Place Municipal Muses (new version) on Municipal Muses lot ❌ Place Municipal Muses (new version) on a different lot ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses on the Municipal Muses lot ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses on a different lot ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses, but as a Residential lot, on the Municipal Muses lot ✅ Build and save a New Residental lot ✅ Place the New Residential lot on the Municipal Muses lot Created a brand new save ❌ Place Municipal Muses (new version) on Municiapl Muses lot ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses on the Municipal Muses lot ✅ Place OG Municipal Muses, but as a Residential lot, on the Municipal Muses lot ✅ Place the New Residential lot on the Municipal Muses lot ✅ Kill someone on the New Residential lot so it has a free-roaming ghost ✅ Can still place the New Residential But Now Haunted lot
Ice texture appearing over garden plots.
Has anyone experienced this in game & knows possibly how to fix it? I've done the normal trouble shooting of removing all CC/MODS & slowly going through my mods folder to find the issue. Even with Mods/CC removed & a new save is started this bug happens. You cannot delete the ice texture and a weird floating happens. This is in moonwood mill happens over the public garden area of the map. As far as I know this only happens in moonwood mill The current season is summer so I have no idea why this ice texture is appearing.plz help
Hello. My account was suspended without any reason, and there is no information about the reason for the ban. I contacted technical support more than once and received no response. All I asked for was that my account be linked to a Steam account. I want to link the account to another site and delete the Steam link. I buy games on Steam that I can't play, and I don't hear back from support
How to store power Off-The-Grid ?
Hello, I've been searching how to store power with the Off-the-grid Lot Challenge. I'm currently playing in the Henford-on-Bagley neighborhood, but i also have the Eco Lifestyle pack. I have wind turbines and solar panels, as well as appliances that work Off-the-grid, but once night falls - i almost always lose the power i got during that day! Is there a way to resolve this issue? I tried researching with Copilot - they mention a Power Storage but i cannot find this object no matter where i look.... Help please! Thank you :) Vicky
All Packs Aren't Downloaded
Hey everyone, I am becoming very frustrated. Today, I logged onto my game, and none of my extra content is registering as downloaded in-game, but all of it is saying it's downloaded in my EA Game Library. It had really affected one of my legacies, so I am trying not to panic, but have tried repairing the game as well, but to no avail. Has this happened to anyone else?
[B&H] Paying Household Members as Employees?
Hi, I just got the Businesses & Hobbies expansion for Christmas and I have a question more out of curiosity than anything else. I noticed my Sim can hire her husband, whom she obviously lives with, as an employee at her small business. She has to pay him a salary but since they live together and share household funds, does that mean the money doesn't actually go anywhere? Did my Sim find a free labour loophole or does the game actually deduct the money from the household funds anyway and just make it go poof instead of going to her husband?My Sim Can't Reap The Sim That Is Supposed To Be Dead - Reaper Career
My Sim is in the Reaper career, but every time I load this particular plot, I can't reap the Sim. I've received this assignment on this plot twice now, and each time it doesn't work. However, on different plots, I've been able to reap dead Sims, even when they aren't actually dead, which is another issue altogether. I've tried adding the Sim to my family to see if I can cheat and make them dead, but that doesn't work and removes the designation of being a dead Sim. I've also attempted various cheats through the cheat bar, but none have been successful. This is my legacy save, and I've been playing it for a considerable amount of time. I don't use any mods, so I don't have MCC installed to resolve the issue more easily. This bug forces me to end the day early because I can't progress until I successfully reap the Sim. Please help!
Watch TV on Treadmill
I swear that my sims used to be able to watch tv while on the treadmill, but now I noticed that the sim will get off the treadmill when I turn the tv on. I can't actually remember if they were able to watch tv while exercising, is that a thing or would this be considered a bug?
Can load into game and choose a word but can't load households
I was playing sims and got kicked off the game so I just simply reloaded it however now it will load into a game and I can choose a world to play in but when I select a family and it shows the loading screen then error 124:57d8944b:45f4f002 and to reload the game, I have tried this multiple times including restarting my Mac and nothings changed. I tried to place a household out the gallery and play that instead but it just did the same thing. I also did the repair button on EA before loading but again no change. How can I fix this?
