can't age up infants with birthday candles
hi! recently in my game, I was throwing a birthday party for one of my infant sims to age her up to a toddler. she was designated as the birthday sim in the party. her mother made a cake and added the candles, but there was no option to help the infant blow out the candles. I hit the "Age a Sim Up" option from the pie menu, and she didn't pop up there either. i tried this with both aging on and aging off, and neither provided a solution. I had to age her up manually through MCCC, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue recently or could offer a solution to the problem. thanks!Holiday stuck on repeat
In my most recent save, something happened and now it’s repeating the last holiday (my creation - Gnome Patrick Fools) anytime there is a new holiday on the calendar. This started when I downloaded the new expansion pack. I tested it by creating a new holiday to start on an empty day and sure enough, Gnome Patrick Fools again. I have tried ending it early, playing it all the way through, waiting for the year to come around again and deleting it entirely etc etc. Nothing has worked. The specified holiday activities are also stuck on in the action menus - regardless of whether there is a holiday scheduled or not. Holidays work as expected in a new test save but I don’t want to forsake my save!! I do not use any mods.
Cannot Make Lucky Liquid on Apothecary Table
I have two sims that have level 10 Apothecary skill, they have full needs (aside from 1 or needs with a sliver down), great moods and environment, and possess all of the required ingredients. They have made all other items that you can possibly make on the Apothecary table successfully. However, neither of them can make the 'Lucky Liquid' item... it remains greyed out. What I have tried/additional facts to add... I also had her buy more of the purchasable ingredients I had one sim re-make her scared potions... two different times I had her sister make her own scared emotions to try herself I tried dragging the potions in then out of the household inventory, the table, a storage box, and the ground I tried saving to the library and placing back into the game none of the ingredients are debug all ingredients have been harvested from their garden, purchased through the table or made by my sims have tried on two different tables I ran game repair None of these tests stopped the Lucky Liquid item from being greyed out on the Apothecary table. I have all packs, no mods/cc, play on Mac, and am fully updated.
Clock ticks on while waiting for travel screen to load

Try traveling anywhere What happens when the bug occurs? A Sim decides to travel at let's say 5:20 pm to go somewhere (in this case the Starlight Accolades). After selecting travel, but before the travel map pops up, the screen "grays out ." so | can still see Sims moving in the background while the music plays and the clock ticks on. Sometimes they even change clothes, exercise, do dishes, all while I'm waiting for the map to load so I can even begin to choose where the Sim is traveling. In this latest maddening instance, after choosing "travel" the clock ticked on for over two Sim hours before finally pulling up the map so I could select my destination. After selecting travel at 5:20 I ultimately arrived at the Star Accolades at 7:55. What do you expect to see? Since long loading screens seem to be unavoidable, at least the internal Sim clock should stop ticking while this is happening. Adjusting the clock for length of travel (say from Newcrest to Sulani, as opposed to just another house down the street) would make sense, but losing over two hours while simply waiting to select a destination makes it impossible to gauge what time to leave anywhere to go anywhere. Especially if departing for a an event with specific beginning and end times. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? This began after the patch update for the 1.116 version of the game. So not the game update itself, but the patch update that happened on 07/10, I believe.
Motives Decay Too Fast After 'Enchanted by Nature'
I'm not sure this issue is related to 'Enchanted by Nature' EP, but after installing it I noticed that 'bladder', 'hunger', 'energy' and 'hygiene' are dropping too fast. My sims cannot do anything because all the time they need to eat and to use the bathroom, and soon they need to sleep. It was always a challenge to balance dealing with the sims' motives and their activities, but now it is almost unplayable.
Gnomes are taking over my garden
It is daylight, and gnomes are taking over my garden, blessing my plants, and leaving seed packets. My sim has already collected at least 40 or more seed packets and the dang gnomes just keep appearing, blessing my garden, and leaving MORE seed packets. I had to pause the game and collect all of the seeds. I sold them. There was literally 48,000 simoleons worth of seeds, and they are still coming.
Help: Custom skin tones not following through to live mode
Today I opened my game to find my sims’ skin tones darker than usual and other’s lighter than usual. After a very long time of trying to fix this, I realised that, in CAS, their skin tones were correct (for example, their skin tone is a brightened version of one of the regular sims 4 skin tone swatches) but, when I go into live mode, the sim is darker because the game just returned their skin tone to the original swatch colour (without any brightness variation). This has never happened to me before and I don’t believe it’s caused by broken mods/cc because when I run the game with an empty mods folder, the issue is still present. Also, none of my sims have tattoos/custom tattoos which I’ve heard has been causing issues lately. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!(BUG) Root cause interaction not completing - new career issue
Hi everyone, i am having an issue with the new pack and a new career gameplay. Whenever i try to tell the client their root cause, the interaction takes a very long time to complete. The client keeps doing everything else but talking with my sim. The interaction often gets cancelled automatically, and i have to do it again and again. Meanwihile the workday time is still running, which makes it hard to finish all the tasks on time. This happed with all five clients i have had so far in this career. Its really frustrating and makes the career not enjoyable. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any tips or fixes? Thank you!!Weird Splotch Glitch in Skin
I recently updated my game with Enchanted Nature pack and come across this bug? whereas my characters have weird splotch in their skin. It happens not only with one or two sims, but every sims that i have in my game. I do use CC and Mods for this game, any ideas where it gets wrong? Thank you!

Having to make a decision between a new laptop or Enchanted by Nature, I chose the laptop. I just moved my game over to the new laptop and finally got it and my mods, saves and tray files moved. I was checking to make sure my sims had made the transition ok, in the "manage worlds" mode, when I noticed one of the pre-mades looked different. I loaded up the lot and found that Alika Kahananui had white spots all over him. I have heard the new addition to the game was ailments, but I was sure that came with the new pack and was not part of the latest addition to the base game. Doing a search on the forum and Google gave me no answers. Is anyone else experiencing this?Can't mount horse anymore
After the update today, I can no longer mount my horse. The horse shimmies into his saddle and my sim begins to mount but once he's up there he immediately glitches back off. I don't use mods except MC command center. Also have found I can't complete the nature's calling event goal to make a wooden throne. My sims handiness is maxed out and its still not showing as an option of something to craft. Anyone else's sims standing around for hours on end since the big update on the 1st?Enchanted by nature-fables
Hi guys so im just wondering if all of the fairy councils fables are the exact same on purpose? Also i completed 3 of care rens fables got the rewards but i can do them again even though i completed them is this normal? Also no mods or cc Sorry if wrong place to post im new here
Enchanted By Nature Fairy Failure
I've tried everything. Checking my mods, restarting the app, making new games, clearing cache files, repairing the sims4 games, checking my computer settings, but STILL my Fairy sims do not show their wings! They don't show their fairy forms, I can't edit their fairy forms in CAS because they just automatically revert back to human. Even if I create a fairy in the beginning they do not have their wings or fairy form in the game. Their fairy skill tree is also non-existent so I can't use any skill points. Even the game's most recent update has done nothing to help. I've wasted my money on a glitchy buggy game pack that is no fun at all. This is a manufacturer problem, not something I can fix. EA you'd better fix this problem because I don't appreciate you giving me an overpriced faulty game pack that has too many bugs.
Fairies flying as bats
I updateded my sims 4 game today and now sometimes my fairies will turn into a bat and fly somewhere instead of using their fairy wings. At first i thought maybe it was just some kind of hybrid glitch because they both can fly but my sims parents are fairies so I'm not understanding why shes turning into a bat. Not related at all but hopefully hybrids are eventually added into the game
