Sims 4 Bug?
So I play Sims 4 on my MacBook and today I got stuck on the saving screen for 3-4 hours maybe and I've tried closing down the game but can't until it saves. And I've tried restarting my MacBook but I can't because I need to close Sims to restart it but obviously I can't close it. I thought maybe it might be one of my mods but even so I still can't reopen the game. I've looked online with how to fix it and nothing has worked please help me. 🙏
Cannot Connect to the Gallery
For context I have a Macbook air M2 and im fully updated to Sequoia 15.5. For the past week (no its not because of the recent patch) i havent been able to access the gallery at all. It says "connection required" and when i click go online it just loads forever. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling ea and the sims, restarting my router, changing wifi and connecting to my hotspot, deleting all my cc and tray files, repairing my game, turning my firewall and antivirus off, going online and offline on the ea app, and deleting game cache.Sims 4 old back folder doesn't work
PLEASE HELP!!! I cleaned out my mods folder just to make sure I didn't have duplicate mods in the game. Once I was done, I couldn't find the Electronic Arts folder but my saves and mods were still in game. I ended up searching for the EA folder and two came up. It asked if I wanted to replace, I said yes and my entire game was wiped. I tried to use my back up sims 4 folder to add it back to the game and it's not working. Electronic Arts folder doesn't have the sims 4 folder and when I add it in it still doesn't load. I even renamed the folder so a new one could generate but it does not. The Electronic Arts folder has an "EA app" folder and in that folder an "ARD" folder and "machine. ini". When I click on the ARD folder there is a GEADesktop folder that doesn't open when I click on it. I've tried repairing the game, logging out of the app and restarting so a new The sims 4 folder can appear and nothing. That's the only thing that pops up.I can't enter the game when I enter and the screen is black.
Yes, when I press enter the game, then the screen turns off, then flashes, then it flickers, then it flickers, then it bounces in front of the game tab, but the window is white and freezes like that, I waited, but it was still like that, and I couldn't press close to exit.
Objects glitching at basement level
Hi, so for a few months now I've had this issue where certain things do a flickering glitch when in basements. I have cc and mods installed but the glitching seems to occur with and without them. It isn't everything, most stuff is fine but some overhead lights, railings, stairs and assorted other stuff does this. Let me know if there's anything I can do about it, it's really bothersome, thanks!Won't Let Me Resize Objects
Hi, I just downloaded the game last night and it will not let me size up and down objects. I have a Mac laptop. I tried using the shift + [ ] keys with the object selected and nothing happens. I also tried the shift + ( ) keys for pc just to see if it would work. I even checked the keyboard settings on my laptop and my keyboard settings were already set to US and there is no UK option for keyboard settings on my laptop. I am officially at a loss as I have tried all of the troubleshooting for this issue that I could find. please help
Sims game wont launch after getting new pack
I recently bought businesses and hobbies. I downloaded the pack and tried to open my game, and an error code popped up, so I updated all of my mods, but a different error code popped up. I went through my mods again and now my game is stuck in a never-ending loading screenHover Text Box Stretching Out?
Believe me, I have absolutely NO IDEA how to describe this, so maybe I'd just better show you instead. See the screenshot I took. It seems to be doing this with items I have created, and on tombstone epitaphs in a graveyard mostly. But it is NOT a Mod issue, because this screenshot was taken when I removed the mods, as well as deleting everything that had the word "cache" in the name. Actually, it has been doing this on my tombstones ever since the Life and Death Pack, now that I think about it, but I haven't brought it up. Sometimes it goes away on it's own when I exit and restart the game, but then it picks it right back up again and does this. Does anyone else have this issue? Since I don't know how to describe this, I don't know how to look for fixes by myself. Please help!Sims 4 not launching on mac
I bought the new sleek bathroom pack installed it on my game and now it doesn't load. i am able to get to the page that says load game and once it goes to the 2nd screen it just stays there. i had to force quit. i have repaired the game, uninstalled and re-installed, and deleted my mods.
Slow game
Hello, does it take ages to load screens in your game too? I don't have mods nor cc installed, tried to repair the game several times but still it takes so long (never happened before) to go from a screen to another, for example from cas to gameplay or to visit a place, to move or just to load the game... I thought it could be the numerous packs I have installed, maybe? I don't know...cause if this is the motive then do I have to remove all of them?😅 Thank youCan't launch game
Hello I have switched from Origin to EA and can't launch the sims 4. It. starts to launch and then it freezes then I have to force quit. I have cleared the cache and tried repairing game and I un installed the game and re installed it again but nothing has worked. Anyone got ideas?Sims 4 annoying shadow glitch
so I JUST downloaded sims 4 on my 2017 macbook pro, no matter the settings i have set it too, the shadows freak tf out, how do i stop this??? i hear people talk about deleting and moving a folder or whatever, but all the folders i have are empty. no i do not have mods for you mods who need everything.Game crashes at the sims 4 page, does not even go to main menu
For the last few days every time I try to open the sims 4 it crashes on the sims 4 graphic. It does not even go to the main page before crashing. I cannot play the game at all. I do not have any mods or cc. Never have. I uninstalled and reinstalled, which did not change the issue. I just got my Mac M3 and it has 165GB. I have had sims for 3 days and have no mods or no packs. I have restarted my Mac and went on EA and hit repair about 6 times. I can open sims but when I try to load in my household I'm stuck on the loading green gem and cannot get passed it. It has worked just fine until yesterday. Any suggestions on what to do, I am also new to Mac.My game crashes after the first loading screen - Mac
When I try to play the sims it crashes after the first load in screen I've tried renaming my sims file, taking out all my mods, and reinstalling the EA app and sims and tried to repair the sims through the EA app and changing the advanced launch options.Game is frozen, no controls are possible.
i just downloaded the sims 4 a couple days ago and now the app is completely frozen. i’ve tried clicking on things, opening menus but nothing is possible. the game is stuck in this form and i can’t do anything about it. i attempted to close the EA app but i can’t do that without closing the sims, which is a problem, because i can’t get to the closing menu. I can’t even click the little red X in the corner to get rid of it. it does nothing. i’ve pressed quit The Sims 4 and quit EA, NOTHING CAN GET ME OUT OF THIS SCREEN! i’ve reset the computer, logged out and back in, i’ve checked my internet connection and so many other things. NOTHING WORKS. please fix this. i was really excited to play this game.
