My Sims Side Action Bar isn't loading or showing up
Ive tried restarting and repairing the game it hasn't worked, and than tried deleting cache files like localthumbcache.package , cache folder , cachestr folder , onlinethumbnailcache folder but it still hasnt done anything. It started when I aged up my toddler sim to a child and than I happened and than I moved to my young adult sim so two of them are now glitched. But some of my other sims are fine and working. Ive also restarted my Mac but still doesn't work.Save File missing ( New game/ game reset??)
I was playing The Sims 4 today with my household, and everything was fine. I was able to save properly and go to Manage Worlds with no issues. I decided I wanted to build my household a new home outside their city, so I saved and went back to Manage Worlds again without any problems. While I was browsing the Gallery and placing a home on an empty residential lot, my game suddenly crashed and booted me out without warning. I thought everything would be fine since I had saved beforehand. However, when I reopened the game, my save file was completely gone. I checked my Saves folder and saw that all the files were still there. I don’t understand why this happened out of nowhere when the game appeared to save normally.
Game Crashing
I'm not sure I'm in the right place, but I was wondering if anyone is still having to issue of their game crashing when either randomly when they are playing or when they are saving. I haven't played since August when I did the update that made this a issue. I have continued updating my game, I just don't want to lose any of my gameplay. Again I don't know if I'm in the right place, I just haven't heard anything about this glitch in a while and haven seen any updates on it. I was wondering if it's been fixed and isn't a major problem anymore and was safe to play the game without having major anxiety about losing my progress.
Cannot Connect to the Gallery
For context I have a Macbook air M2 and im fully updated to Sequoia 15.5. For the past week (no its not because of the recent patch) i havent been able to access the gallery at all. It says "connection required" and when i click go online it just loads forever. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling ea and the sims, restarting my router, changing wifi and connecting to my hotspot, deleting all my cc and tray files, repairing my game, turning my firewall and antivirus off, going online and offline on the ea app, and deleting game cache.Sims 4 old back folder doesn't work
PLEASE HELP!!! I cleaned out my mods folder just to make sure I didn't have duplicate mods in the game. Once I was done, I couldn't find the Electronic Arts folder but my saves and mods were still in game. I ended up searching for the EA folder and two came up. It asked if I wanted to replace, I said yes and my entire game was wiped. I tried to use my back up sims 4 folder to add it back to the game and it's not working. Electronic Arts folder doesn't have the sims 4 folder and when I add it in it still doesn't load. I even renamed the folder so a new one could generate but it does not. The Electronic Arts folder has an "EA app" folder and in that folder an "ARD" folder and "machine. ini". When I click on the ARD folder there is a GEADesktop folder that doesn't open when I click on it. I've tried repairing the game, logging out of the app and restarting so a new The sims 4 folder can appear and nothing. That's the only thing that pops up.I can't enter the game when I enter and the screen is black.
Yes, when I press enter the game, then the screen turns off, then flashes, then it flickers, then it flickers, then it bounces in front of the game tab, but the window is white and freezes like that, I waited, but it was still like that, and I couldn't press close to exit.Won't Let Me Resize Objects
Hi, I just downloaded the game last night and it will not let me size up and down objects. I have a Mac laptop. I tried using the shift + [ ] keys with the object selected and nothing happens. I also tried the shift + ( ) keys for pc just to see if it would work. I even checked the keyboard settings on my laptop and my keyboard settings were already set to US and there is no UK option for keyboard settings on my laptop. I am officially at a loss as I have tried all of the troubleshooting for this issue that I could find. please help
Sims game wont launch after getting new pack
I recently bought businesses and hobbies. I downloaded the pack and tried to open my game, and an error code popped up, so I updated all of my mods, but a different error code popped up. I went through my mods again and now my game is stuck in a never-ending loading screenHover Text Box Stretching Out?
Believe me, I have absolutely NO IDEA how to describe this, so maybe I'd just better show you instead. See the screenshot I took. It seems to be doing this with items I have created, and on tombstone epitaphs in a graveyard mostly. But it is NOT a Mod issue, because this screenshot was taken when I removed the mods, as well as deleting everything that had the word "cache" in the name. Actually, it has been doing this on my tombstones ever since the Life and Death Pack, now that I think about it, but I haven't brought it up. Sometimes it goes away on it's own when I exit and restart the game, but then it picks it right back up again and does this. Does anyone else have this issue? Since I don't know how to describe this, I don't know how to look for fixes by myself. Please help!Sims 4 not launching on mac
I bought the new sleek bathroom pack installed it on my game and now it doesn't load. i am able to get to the page that says load game and once it goes to the 2nd screen it just stays there. i had to force quit. i have repaired the game, uninstalled and re-installed, and deleted my mods.
Slow game
Hello, does it take ages to load screens in your game too? I don't have mods nor cc installed, tried to repair the game several times but still it takes so long (never happened before) to go from a screen to another, for example from cas to gameplay or to visit a place, to move or just to load the game... I thought it could be the numerous packs I have installed, maybe? I don't know...cause if this is the motive then do I have to remove all of them?😅 Thank youCan't launch game
Hello I have switched from Origin to EA and can't launch the sims 4. It. starts to launch and then it freezes then I have to force quit. I have cleared the cache and tried repairing game and I un installed the game and re installed it again but nothing has worked. Anyone got ideas?Sims 4 annoying shadow glitch
so I JUST downloaded sims 4 on my 2017 macbook pro, no matter the settings i have set it too, the shadows freak tf out, how do i stop this??? i hear people talk about deleting and moving a folder or whatever, but all the folders i have are empty. no i do not have mods for you mods who need everything.Game crashes at the sims 4 page, does not even go to main menu
For the last few days every time I try to open the sims 4 it crashes on the sims 4 graphic. It does not even go to the main page before crashing. I cannot play the game at all. I do not have any mods or cc. Never have. I uninstalled and reinstalled, which did not change the issue. I deleted everything ea and sims related from my computer (Mac) and it still did not do anything. MacBook Air (M1, 2020) Chip: Apple M1 Memory: 8GB macOS: Sequoia 15.4
