Recent Update: Hosts, Hostesses, and babies
Hi with the recent update I am not able to get a table because of the update because hosts and hostesses are not at the podium and you cannot select anything on the host podium. The hosts or hostesses will not show up at the host podium. I also haven't been able to use breastfeeding bottles that the sims pump afterwards to feed the sims babies. Will there be an update where these problems won't occur ofter?
Sims can't do open world activities like skiing, snowboarding, swimming, etc.
Ever since a patch back in August, my sims have been unable to perform open world activities. - I play on PC. - I play 100% mod & cc free; this is a fresh save I started back in the Spring. - I tried repairing my game, it did nothing. - I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and attempting these activities in a fresh save, still nothing. I click the slopes, I get the text box that says my sims got some loaner Skis from the lodge for now.. but my sim just resets and never actually gets the skis. I tried going to the Bits' n Bobbles Vending Machine to purchase skis; my sim was able to successfully use the slopes again. While this does allow my sim the ability to ski, snowboard, etc, this does not fix the issue as a whole because no other sim is able to do this workaround and my slopes are either empty or filled with sims resetting until they give up. As for the ocean, I click what should be swimmable water and I get no pie menu. If I click water closer to the shoreline I get a pie menu with the options to "Wade here" or "Bathe in Water"; both of these interactions work. In Sulani, if I try to send my sim canoeing or snorkeling the thought bubble for unrouteable appears above their head because they have to swim to get to these objects and swimming in open water is broken.
Game Not Connecting Online, Limited-Time Items Missing
My game displays the message: “Connection Required: Connect or stay offline?” When I choose “Connect,” it just says “Attempting to Connect.” This has been happening for about a month, but I ignored it at first since it didn't bother me that much. (Since I can't connect, I also can't access the Gallery.) Recently, during the Deck the Palms Login Event, I wanted to claim the new items, but the event didn’t pop up, so I wasn’t sure if I needed to be connected online. I tried reinstalling The Sims 4 and moved my old saves over, but now I also lost all of the Limited-Time Items from past events. (I thought these items were supposed to be linked to my account. Not sure.) I don’t know what’s happening and would appreciate any help.
[AA] Is there a guide to triggering formative moments?
I am trying to get my child sim to achieve all the formative moments, and so far she has 24, but I know that is less than half of them. There are some formative moments that I don't know how to trigger, such as "Be Inquisitive about Health". She has played with the doctor set several times; I even bought a second set, but there is never an option for her to take on this formative moment. When I click on her to get her to "take on a formative challenge", it often says that there are no new ones available for her. Is there a guide somewhere to how each formative moment can be triggered (I'm not talking about how to achieve them once they have been triggered)?
Gallery Stuck In Infinite Connecting Screen
Very recently, I have been completely unable to get into the Gallery. When I try and enter, I get the "Connect Or Stay Offline?" queue, and when I hit connect, it just stays on the connect part, and doesn't actually connect. I was able to download something off the Gallery a few days ago (on July 2). I have done almost everything I can think of to fix this - restart the game, restart my laptop, shut my laptop off for a while, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but to no avail. Every tutorial I've found to help with this hasn't helped. What do I do?
Outfits messing up in Adventure Awaits getaway
I am having an issue where my sims outfits are random or not working on a getaway - e.g. if I select to go into swimwear, it will be one of their everyday outfits instead. Or if my sim goes to bed, instead of switching into sleepwear it will put them in active wear. In the outfit selection it still shows that they are in the right outfit, however that outfit preview is now changed to a duplicate of a different outfit. It doesn't show any issues when I go into CAS. I have no script or gameplay mods only CC. It's super annoying as I really like the CAS and outfits I selected and want to use them during the getaways. Any help appreciated.Goals for the Painter: Work-Life Balance aspiration not completing
I am playing on a PC with only Life and Death and Get to Work installed (no cc). I am playing a character who works as a Detective. Aspirational goals that have to do with work are not being checked as completed, even though I've completed them in the game. For example, "Go to work" would not complete without using cheat codes, no matter if I went to work with the Sim or if I let the Sim go to work alone. The aspirations.complete_current_milestone usually works to fix the issue, but it is not working for the "Take a vacation day" goal.
can I split stacks of items in sims 4
I saw someone had this issue and it was marked as solved by - there is no ability to do this in sims 4 pc. However I figured out the answer! You CAN move multiple items from a big stack. I have attached an image of my inventory to show for help. All you have to do is first click on the number of the stack, which will open up the items in the stack. Then you simply click multi stack/on and then you can click on multiple items in the stack to select them, and move them all to another sim, or to sell, or set down as a new stack! Hope this helps! Sim is ‘engaged’ but not in relationship/cant propose
I’ve been playing this love triangle for awhile between two high school sweethearts and a new girl. He cheats, they break up, original gf goes to university. Last week she gets a phone call from him asking if he should propose to the other woman. I click yes absentmindedly. Now, I want to get the original couple back together but his actions are saying he’s engaged. He can’t propose, he has all the my wedding stories prompts about his engagement - but here’s the thing - he’s not even in a relationship with the new girl. They’re not dating. No engagement in their sim profile. No option to elope. Or plan a wedding event. But he can’t propose and it says he can’t because he’s already engaged. I’ve tried resetting the sims, using the cheat to clear their relationship, I even tried deleting the new girl entirely (using new saves each time). He’s still engaged. Has anyone had this? Any way to fix it so he’s not ‘engaged’ to no one anymore??
