[LD] Distorted Edith
I know Edith was a bug fix but now her ghost form is even more terrifying. She isn't in human form anymore but her ghost form is like the past issues of what was wrong with the children. Spaghetti fingers and when she screams she has no bottom jaw, has weird lights around her and becomes completely distorted and even more difficult to interact with her. CAS X to delete Sims isn't working
Hey everyone, I've been having this problem for a while now. The little "x" over a Sim's head on CAS on the bottom left to delete them isn't functioning. I've tried clicking around it, it just won't work. CAS Sculpting bugged?
After the 150 fixes update i attempted to play Sims 4, but noticed that sculpting in CAS felt sticky and jagged, i tried with and without mods and i am at a loss, it has been a while since i played Sims 4 but the sculpting wasn't THIS bad, right? Sad, grey plants on Innisgreen
I'm having an issue with one of the pre-built lots in Innisgreen. The "Greenwood Hamlet Residence" is a grey, moldy lot, that I remodeled to be a happier place... But my plants don't match. Everything is dead and grey. See this picture! At this point, I had already tried a bunch of different codes to make vegetation more lush, and they worked (I think) but the colors remain sad. I have ZERO mods or custom content, but I own all packs released by EA. How do I fix this in live mode?? Help, please! Here is the same lot, same state. I went back to the selection screen and entered the lot straight to build mode. I thought I was having a graphical issue with this lot until I saw this. Curved Roofs?
What EP did curved roofs (Like for a Hobbit house, say) come in? I thought it was Cottage Living, but maybe it was Eco Living instead? I'm trying to make a gypsy vardo (wagon) and I can NOT figure out how to make the roof curved? If someone could advise me on which EP that ability came in, and/or how to make a curved roof, I'd sincerely appreciate it. It sounds so simple, right? But this issue has always mystified and frustrated me! I see where it SAYS "Foundations" when you're building a house. But that appears to be only the coloring/design details ON the foundation, once the foundation is already there. But how do I put the foundation there in the first place???? *Tears hair out* I know it has something to do with placing rooms. But when I use the wall tool to make a room, it's always flush to the ground, NOT with a foundation beneath it. Ugh, I'm SO frustrated with trying to figure this out. I had a very rich sim who just passed away due to old age and he had his will set up to split with 4 different households outside of his own - each household would receive 20% upon his death. Well that sim also had an adult sim living with him still and a grandchild. I assumed that the household funds would be split between those 4 different households and the remaining 20% would be left in the household with the adult and the grandchild. I’ve visited two of the households that was set to receive inheritance and neither house has received it. is the reason due to the remaining two sims being in the household after the sim’s death? Residential Worlds Loop
Sooo, there is this problem where I try to play The Sims 4, and it takes me to the residential worlds where you pick out which map you want to play in. So I pick the map, and when it finishes loading, it just takes me back. I've had this problem for a while, so I stopped playing The Sims, and I tried to give it a try today, but it still has the same problem. Sneaking Out pop up without the High School Years Pack
I just got this pop up in my game while running a restaurant. I don't know what else to say other than "I DO NOT own High School Years" pack. Also, there are not and never where any mods on this computer. If this is just the fear of "Crowded Places" then I claim its confusing using the same term. Game bugged out. Tried to fix it, now it crashes on launch.
I've been playing it without any issues for the past week, but this morning when launching it I had the "Sims Delivery Error 0008" popup, along with the "WWWWWWWWWWWW" household bug, making me permanently stuck in the Main menu. I couldn't load old saves NOR start a new game/enter CAS. Doing either gave another error-popup saying something about my files being corrupted, sending me back to the main menu. Note: - I use both EA and Steam as I've bought DLC's on both, but I've had no issues like this before. - I currently have no CC/mods installed, mod folder is empty, mods are turned off in settings. ------------------------------------------- I GOOGLED AND FOUND: - "The 'Sims Delivery Error' is usually caused by outdated mods, game file issues or your antivirus blocking stuff." - "The 'WWWWWWWW' glitch is most often caused by having no active household, which can be fixed by playing and saving an existing family. If the glitch persists, especially after a game update, it could be a corrupt save file, a mod or custom content (CC) conflict, or a need to clear the game cache." I CAN CONFIRM: - Yes, I saved my last game without playing a household, as I saved a build I was building in world management. This is probably what caused the "WWWWWWW" bug. - CC/mods are not the issue. - I haven't changed any antivirus settings lately so it shouldn't be the cause? THE FIXES I'VE TRIED: - Clearing the cache on EA. - "App recovery" on EA. - Repairing the files on steam; it found nothing to repair. - Removing "localthumbcache.package". - Uninstalling + reinstalling the game on Steam. - Deleting "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Sims 4". Doing all this has resulted in my newly reinstalled game crashing on launch before even entering the main menu, and "Verify integrity of game files" does nothing, as there are no files in need of reparation (again). ------------------------------------------- I posted this on Reddit and Steams discussion over an hour ago with no replies, so I'm posting it in other places while still trying to fix it. In this past hour I've also: - Uninstalled Sims 4 on Steam (again). - Uninstalled EA's app. - Successfully removed all Sims related files on my PC (steam library, program files, etc). - Reinstalled both apps - Ran an "app recovery" on EA. - Verified integrity on Steam (No issues pop up!). The game still crashes on launch. The sims 4 intro starts, sound and all, and then the screen flashes white before shutting down. EA's popup says: "Failed to launch game - An error on our end caused the launch to fail, try again a little later". So what do I do now? Is this truly all caused by an issue on EA's end? Did I do all this for nothing? I'm so confused and frustrated I can't even think of other solutions. Brain feels like mush. Any comments, ideas, questions are appreciated. Build/Buy: New Object from DLCs' Star Icon Not Disappear
Normally, that icon disappeared once open a catalog category. But after 2025/11/04 update, that doesn't. And after change to Live Mode and change into Build/Buy mode again, left side menu also returns to show 'Contains New Items'. Sims wear hats in their nude outfit (Patch 1.119.109)
After today's update (5 November 2025), sims still wear hats in their nude outfits and when they are taking a bath/shower. Never used cc/mods. Windows 11 PC I can't comment on the original post since it's now tagged as "fixed" and the option to comment has been removed.[EA Forums] Sims will stop wearing hats while in their nude outfit. having problems with being able to play an household
game will not let me in households and just sends me back to pick at place screen For instance, I want to play a household I click it and click play like normal it'll start to load like its loading into the household and then suddenly I'm at the start where it shows all the worlds you can play on. My sims literally refuse to pick up the infant now. My infant was literally starving and I couldn't even feed the poor thing because my sim would stand there for about 5-10 mins (in game) then wave their hand in the air like something was in the way. Spoiler, there was nothing blocking the infant. Jealousy disappeared
I took a girl character from my old saves and replaced them in CAS with other characters, creating a few more animals. I played for a while, and the girl became a fairy. Then I created a werewolf, moved him in with a neighboring family, and decided to have a romance with him. The romance meter filled up, and then I wanted to make it a drama quest, but neither the girl nor the werewolf are jealous. Jealousy is enabled for everyone in the settings. I went into another download, and everything works fine there. I don't have any mods, only clothing mods. Could you please tell me what I can do in this situation?
