Lots Not Showing Up in Live Mode
Platform: PC Any mods or cc? Yes Game version: 1.121.372.1020 is anyone else having this issue? people are saying it's happening because of the For Rent pack. it's only happening in some worlds. The lots show up from Map View but not in Live Mode. what's the point in making save files if the default lots are gonna appear after placing my own? or show up an empty lot? smh. please help this is very annoying. yes i have mods but i tested this without mods and it still happens.
The Sims 4 Gallery
Hi, i am playing the sims 4 on my pc. I have no mods or CC in my game. My problem is that the gallery is not filtering any of the packs that I have which makes it so difficult to select anything off the gallery. And also whenever I do find a lot that has the packs I have in my game. It still shows that i am missing items. I NEVER click on custom content tab. SO that isnt the issue. Someone help me! I have no clue what to do!
Cannot enroll in University
Good day, so I do play with some mods, but rarely anything major or specific. Mainly the MCCC command center. However, I have recently had a sim try and apply to university, gets the acceptance letter, but once I want to enroll the sim, it only shows 'check application status'. So I have given up on enrolling one sim, yet another sim can re-enroll without any issue.
Sims only having boys
Since Royalty & Legacy has come out, my Sims have had a total of 18 babies. 16 of them have been boys. I do not have them listen to music or eat carrots/strawberries. Statistically, this is a 1 in 2,000 chance. I've seen other people recently complain about the same thing happening in other Sims-focused groups online. Maybe I am just extraordinarily unlucky, but it's persistent enough that I figured it's worth mentioning.
Why are the Plant Lover Trait and Vegetarian Trait not compatible?
I was recently in CAS making a new sim and saw that these traits, Plant Lover and Vegetarian, are considered not compatible. I'm so confused about it; because I would think that a vegetarian could love plants and love taking care of them. I'm just trying to wrap my head around this and I can't think of a logical reason for not being able to have a sim with both of these traits. If anyone has any idea why my game is stating that they're not compatible or know the reasoning for their incompatibility, I'll gladly read your answers.Cursor Not Moving and Screen Frozen On Launch of Game
Ever since I updated my game about a month ago every time I go to launch the game, the screen is frozen and the cursor will not move. If I slide over to the main desktop then back to the game screen it will unfreeze for one second then immediately freeze again. I have tried repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling and still no luck. So bummed I haven't been able to play in over a month.😞Missing tombstone
Hi, the first missing tombstone was of my cat as the grim reaper wasn’t taking the cat and it froze so I had to reset object on the cat and the cat disappeared and the grim reaper didn’t, I also cannot find the tombstone for the cat. I had the grim reaper stuck in my house for ages so I added him to my family and then moved him and removed him from my family which was fine. Now my horse died and the grim reaper didn’t even come for hours and hours so I reset object him as well but again, no tombstone. Where can I find them? Also is the grim reaper broken now?Secret Lover issue-Bug or intended?
My sim is getting around town to stir the pot, and im unsure if its intended but when he has a secret lover, over time [or in my latest case almost immediately after] ill get the notification that my sim and secret lover sim are official partners...without the 'go steady' or 'go official' from the secret lover stage, which i think is why the secret children never seem to be secret since by that point the game reads them as being in a relationship, regardless if the secret lover is married or not. Just a bit confused if that is intended or possibly a bug, or if the secret child thing is different from the dads perspective since I'm playing him atm. If it is intended; 1. Does the perspective effect the mechanic? 2. Is there a cap to Secret Lover sims? 3. is there anyway to 'back track' the 'exclusivity' and back to secret lover stage? Some info; the first 3? ish sims that were secret lovers, all became 'official partners' from the notification [similar to the first kiss notification] that 'X sim and X sim are now partners' at the exact same time when loading into my save without those sims being on lot So i dont think it was autonomously chosen to become official especially with 2 'secret' lovers at the exact same time. I did notice that the 'memory' or connection thing on their profiles [where it could say things like 'deeply connected' etc] still had the 'Secret Lover' memory/relationship thing on the sims profile. I'll try to give more info if anyone can confirm they have faced similar issues, Thanks for reading!! 🙂Children cannot play with doctor play set.
As the title states: Children cannot play with doctor playsets (neither human or teddy). The only options on it when I click with a child are, "add to favorites," and, "put in inventory." But my teens and adults DO have the option to play with? They even glitch through the floor to play out the animations. XD I've tried everything from 50/50 mods, new save, cleared all caches (including those in the %appdata folder). I thought it must be a mod going out of date, since it sprang up after having changed nothing, but if it is, I think it must be a setting left behind by one of them somewhere that I don't know to look for. I'm on PC, using DX 11, if that helps anything. Anyone experience anything similar, or have any suggestions for something else to try? Hi all! Obviously, we've all encountered 'contains new item' glitches--do event rewards usually stay for longer? The dress that was part of the 'Lost Legacies' event has a gold border around it, and my 'long dresses' category says 'contains new item'. I redownloaded every pack and am 100% certain that it's this dress that's causing it. Is anybody else's game permanently marking it as 'new'?
The Request Knighthood command is not working
I am writing to report a technical issue I have encountered while playing The Sims 4. The “Request Knighthood” command is currently not functioning properly in my game. Each time I attempt to use this command, it fails to work as expected, which prevents me from progressing in that part of the gameplay. I find this particularly disappointing because I have purchased the game and expect the features included to operate correctly. When gameplay mechanics do not function as intended, it negatively affects the overall experience and enjoyment of the game. I would greatly appreciate it if your team could investigate this issue and provide a fix in a future update or patch. Additionally, if there are any troubleshooting steps or temporary solutions available, I would be grateful if you could share them with me. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Unable to teleport from gallery-downloaded houses
I don't know if this is relevant but I downloaded a house from the gallery and edited it move my sim family in and all of a sudden I couldn't use the teleport cheat and that house like I can leave that house create a new family move them into a different house and teleport all I want to in the same save file I removed all my mods and did the 50-50 method found nothing wrong so I transferred all the current sims I was using into a new save file same issue with the house I just started the next generation of my challenge I had almost completed The first gen anyways new generation new house (also from the gallery) Now my Sim can't travel anywhere when I go to a different house in the same save file I can travel all I want to once again I did the 50/50 method just to see if I was tripping and there was nothing wrong with My mods folder it all worked is there something wrong with gallery houses or what's going on? For some contacts I'm on Windows 11 using the EA app My game is fully updated [CM - Edited title for clarity]
