Errand Help
I am trying to do an errand with the Cottage Living Expansion Pack and the errand is to give the pub owner a blueberry, raspberry, and chocoberry and I went to the grocery stand right in town to buy all three things so now they are in my sims inventory. But i’m pressing on the pub owner and the option to deliver her the things is grayed out and it says i still need one blueberry, one raspberry, and one chocoberry in my inventory. I don’t know what i’m doing wrong please help.Very long loading screen to main menu
Idk why but when I start the game up it takes forever for the game to load to the menu. And it’s not mods because this started happening after the last two updates. All my mods are updated and I recently went through them and deleted broke mods. So that can’t be it. Please help. This game is my life
High School Years Prom - Never Gold Tier Glitch
No matter what I do, and I HAVE tried. I always get Silver Tier. I cancel other actions, and b-line it for every objective - not even enjoying Prom, it never works when I do. Even if I'm casual about it, barely get Silver. If the ability to complete the needed requirements for Prom allowed an extra 30 seconds at least, there is a higher chance I could. Even with a Prom invite. Just wanted to get gold once. Once. Now it's become a post. Maybe also allow quicker cancellations of tasks and the object actions take precendence over all other queued actions for the active sim. Otherwise, no idea...
Plants
When I try to evolve my indoor plants that are ready to evolve, when selecting the plant, I dont have an option to evolve. Also some of the plant names have changed to (gardenplantbushwall_epo9g en placeholder name) and only option when clicked on is (Talk to plant). I am sure there is an easy way to fix this that I am not understanding. I play on xbox. Thanks.
Can’t become a fairy
I have the Enchanted by Nature DLC and I’ve done everything my sim needed to do to become a fairy, but when I click on the “Become a Fairy” option on the pond it automatically cancels the task and shows the “can’t walk here” thought bubble… what do I do? also I have no mods at all installed.Sims 4 not loading household
i was doing something on buildmode yesterday and when i closed it the game got stuck on 2x speed so i just wanted to restart the game but when i try to play on that household the game wont load and it just closes itself with no errors. so i checked mcc exceptions and found this: Last Module Called: build_ladders_mixin.py Last Function Called: _get_ladder_portal_locations Error message: Exception raised while processing zone spin up sequence: local variable 'up_start' referenced before assignment (UnboundLocalError: local variable 'up_start' referenced before assignment), CategoryID: build_ladders_mixin:147 i dont know how to fix it so can someone help me. my mods are on date and i didnt update the game (i also tried opening previous saves of the household but it still doesnt work)
Can no longer edit roofs with my mouse
I have to admit I don't do/haven't done a ton of house editing but today I was trying to modify a roof on an existing house and noticed that my mouse was not working right at all. I would left click or right click on the edit arrows to stretch a roof longer or shorter and nothing was happening. it would not even act like it saw the arrows. Maybe the problem is with my mouse or I need to reprogram it (I have no idea how to do that if it needs being done) It is a Logitech mouse and it seems to work perfectly on every other program so that's why I suspect it is the Sims and not the mouse giving me migraines.Can't interview any homeowners for Civil Designer career?
I noticed the first level of the Civil Designer job wants my sim to go interview a homeowner about something (taxes, recycling? I can't remember) but regardless they never get an option to do this. Is this a known bug in that career path? Can I do anything about it? Should I even bother or will they get promoted anyway whether they do the task or not? Kind of like someone actually working in a government job? LOL just kidding
Relationship issues since new update
Since the latest update, i’ve noticed my sim’s spouse is randomly mean. He is a new relationship. This didnt happen with her previous partner but since dating the new one he is randomly throwing a mean interaction autonomously. There is no reason why he should be. His traits are practice makes perfect, art liver, heart on your sleeve, grouch and muser. All luck and every other changing variable is normal and good. They have amazing compatibility, attraction and satisfaction. I have no idea whats wrong also have just noticed their friendship label is displayed as acquaintances even though it is a full green bar and romance (aside from the random mean interactions that i fix) i have also had to propose and marry them 3 times so far in more or less 5 hours of gameplay without them ever divorcing or break up. they should be perfect for each other so what is his deal??Sims that hate each other dating?
I just wonder if this is normal in the game or just a strange glitch. I play multiple families and switch between them so I know how different sims feel about each other but I will see sims on dates with other sims they dispise on community lots. When I go and play that household though they fight with each other but if I switch households and play a different house and go to a community lot I might see that couple hanging out and flirting with each other like they were friends. Are they psychos or does the game just throw random sims together?
University pack issuse
So for the since the last update, I have had issues with my Sims passing university. They do all the homework they do the exams show up to class in a positive mood do the term paper and the presentation. Everything even study and they still are not passing what is going on? Is anybody else having issues with this?Can't Access Family Management
I haven't been able to go to my Family Management section of my profile for a very long time. It keeps giving me an error message, "Something went wrong. We ran into a technical issue. Try again later." Any steps to correct? The automated chat bot is absolutely useless, and when I chatted with a human to review my account to see what's going on, they couldn't fix it and have apparently raised a ticket with technical......
Where are my buildings?
Ever since the next to last update, there were times I'd go to another lot and there wouldn't be a building on it, including game created lots. It's as if all of my worlds have become open worlds. Prior to the last update, I could go back to a previous saved game and when uploaded, the missing lots were replaced. Now, my game says "autosaved," which was turned off as soon as the update happened, and I can't go back to a previous save to recover my lots. I have never used mods or CC, so I should not have any issues, as far as those are concerned.
