Events breaks my game
Hello ! I have issues with my events : For starter the event doesn't show the steps when I create one, and I can't end an event before, it goes on until midnight sims time Second I have always a weird look even if im not playing an event. (see capture) Third, if I enter the CUS or construction mode while being on an event the game breaks. I can't see my sims needs, moodlet, change sims or make them do anything. It'slike if I was in camera view. My sims can move but because of their one desire. When it happens I always have to resort the game completely. This has been going for a while (3 months or more maybe). I tried in the French forum to get help but no one could give me advices. Thank you for the help !
Elimination help
Hello! Loving the new pack, although it definitely has a lot of moving parts to it...😅. I'm trying to have a romantic getaway contest where its less like the bachelor and more like survivor//love island where instead of the one bachelor/host is the the one to decide who gets eliminated its more like a group vote. Is it possible to have a group vote for eliminations? I've tried to make the "singles"s and hosts the same roles but then there were conflicts in the activities. And at first I didnt know the role of the Host. like i didnt know they would be the love interest... i thought theyd just be the host of the contest LOL. Anywho I'm rambling long story short is there a way to do group votes for eliminations instead of there being one sole sim who gets to decide who gets eliminated? Because I was also wondering how would that work for like survior type getaway? cause i think in the actual show i think its the group who decides who leaves.Sims keep reacting poorly to every reaction
So i've been setting up for a new gameplay thing all day, and I finally finshed my sim's and the houses, but now when i'm trying to get them to interact, they keep being mean. It's not like they are doing mean interactions, I am literally doing "ask about day" or "brighten day", small friendly interactions. Everytime I did this the sim's would react bad and loose friendship. I thought maybe it was my mods or cc so first I did the half and half method of removing my mods, didn't find anything, I even removed all of my mods folder and it still didn't help. If anyone knows what's going on please help. (Also it was a new save, all roomates if that matters, and I tried on two different save files)
Crashing entering a certain save.
I've been playing with the new update, with mods no problem when all of a sudden today I couldn't access my legacy save after playing all day. I tried making a new Sims 4 folder and running it fine before bringing over my saves and it crashes before loading. I was using a custom venue before that, maybe that has something to do with it.Fairy parents unable to interact with babies
Since the last update my fairy parent has not been able to interact with her baby. Every time I try to have her do things from feeding to bathing to changing diapers it will either say she can’t access him (there is nothing in her way and at times she’s in a wide open space and standing next to him), or she will start the interaction and he will glitch (move/sit up then lay down) and the action cancels itself. Today I tried to have her give the baby a bath and she just started inching her way across the yard, into the pond, and then just kept going down the street. The action for him was crossed out but then random ones started going straight up the screen. Most of them were for her says stretch, do pushups, etc. I play console so mods are not an issue. Has anyone else encountered this?
Cannot load any households
Platform: PC Mods: Yes Game Version: 1.118.242.1030 Since the august update I haven't been able to load any households. I get to the main menu and then try to load a household and it just gets stuck on the world map after loading. I have tried without any mods and the problem persists. I have also tried making new sims to see if that changed anything and the problem continued.Business and Hobbies Not working
I just purchased the business and hobbies expansion pack but after I register my business it disappears. There is nothing in the small business panel, but one phone showing I still own the business. When I leave the business lot, it completely deletes the business and I have to repurchase.
Build mode deleting items
When I go into building, everytime I try to place an item on a surface it disappears! With no mods and with mods! Brand new save to!!! I dont have any of the 3 new EPs: Business & Hobbies, Enchanted by nature, or Adventure Awaits. So I guess the issue is with the base game! This stuff is sooo annoying! It started with trying to build a bathroom the tubs & showers kept disappearing, then it was most the bathroom clutter (from all packs). CM edit: capsHaving issues with rebirth
I'm having a little bit of trouble, wondering if anyone knows how to fix/work around it. With the new expansion, I wanted to resurrect my main sim as a child. I've done this once before when Life & Death came out. I remembered it had the issue where you couldn't be reborn if you had some of the Lovestruck traits. So I removed the same Lovestruck traits I did before and also the Grims Right Hand trait simply because my sim wouldn't die. I was able to reborn into a new house hold I had previously set up and everything seemed fine. But then I started noticing the issues in create-a-sim. If I click on the option to make my sim resemble their past self, nothing would happen. After I exit create-a-sim and go up to a mirror, no option to get previous traits even though I maxed out the souls journey before being reborn. I looked at the souls journey page after being reborn and noticed the number of times it tells me I've been reborn is now missing as if I never have been reborn. Anyone else experience this and know what's going on? I got this issue prior to the current expansion release. Tried it again after, still the same issue. - I have no mods installed - I'm able to be reborn with or without the lovestruck traits and have the exact same issues ether way - I've tried resetting my sim, didn't have any effect. - Since after I got reborn, the game would tell me my small business was sold, I tried to sell it before hand. Didn't have any effect - Tried being reborn in both a existing household and create a new household with just myseft. Had no effect ether way - I had burning soul trait ever since I was reborn the first time. Tried to remove it to see if that helped. Couldn't figure out how.Removing Residential Rental Glitch *endless loading*
I updated each world with new houses & everything. Each world I built an apartment in, afterwards I dealt with the "Neighboring Houses show as Default/Empty" glitch & with help from "pessyl92" I was able to fix the empty lots issue but now Im trying to figure ot how I can delete those lots anytime I try I get endless loading, I even did the gallery method & it didnt work. Is there a way to get rid of those lots?My sims won't sit down after the latest update
hey there as the title suggests, my sims won't sit down. My game worked perfectly well before the latest update. This thing occasionally happens in my game and I don't know how it disappears and reappears lol. I tried every possible way to solve it, remove all the mods, saves, tray folder, the mentioned cache files... Nothing works! My sims only sit down if I only play the base game. I tried reinstalling the game, the expansions, stuffs, game packs nothing worked for me.Can't open Ciudad Enamorada?
Hello, I'm having a really weird problem with my game where I just can't open Ciudad Enamorada, the screen goes white as if loading the world but never actually loads, the world select button goes greyed out but other game options such as the option to leave game are still available. I have every pack and no script mods installed, I do have a number of custom content build/buy items, but I am experiencing this issue even when I take out my mods folder. The issue occurs in all of my save files. I have ran a game repair and the issue was not resolved, I'm not sure what else to do! Help!everything suddenly breaking on my lot
i don’t know if this is a glitch or just REALLY annoying feature but literally everything in my bathroom will suddenly break! this happens probably once per in game day and it’s really annoying, i’ve got enchanted my nature so thought it was evil gnomes but i can’t see any on my lot and i was wondering if maybe my ranch hand has something to do with it because i got horse ranch at the same time as enchanted by nature and hired one and then this has started happening - as of today the issue followed my sim kids to camp with the new pack and it’s making my legacy save of 10+ gens unplayable!
