items deleting when i load up my game
everytime i load up my game and go into build mode, i find windows glitched, pillars gone and items in my build missing. i keep having to replace all of these everytime i open this build. and its not just this one build. it is across all of them. chair are missing, mirrors, microwaves, tables, a bookcase i spent 2 hours cluttering. gone ;-; please help me figure out why this is happeningCan I have a NONcontrolled roommate as the owner of a residential rental?
I am the owner of a four-unit property. My unit has two beds. I want to ask a friend to be my roommate. They are homeless/just in my household manager and not in the world. I have an active roommate advertisement (which has been up for two days and nothing has happened - so is that even working?) There is no "ask to be roommate" option. The only two challenges available to me are to “Sleep With Nature Soundscapes Radio Station On” or to “Build the Reclaimed Wooden Dining Table” … but, I’m 180 Experience Points away from getting the “Naturescapes” reward and 280 Experience Points away from getting the Reclaimed Dining Table reward … with no way to gain any more Experience Points because “Sleep with Naturescapes” and “Build the Reclaimed Dining Table” are the only two challenges available to me. So, I’m literally stuck, with no way to advance. Nature’s Calling is now officially dead to me, as I cannot gain any new Experience Points. The same thing happened to me with last year’s challenge. These annual reward challenges SUCK. I’m on PS5, btw.Infant and small children play very buggy
The interactions with infants and small children are very buggy. There is no one single thing that appears all the time, but multiple that don't work almost all the time. Just to give few examples: I see the kid will be hungry. I select a parent to feed them. The kid starts crying. Their action and other parent action is cancelled and replaced with "check what's going on with the kid" but neither feeds them... I want to put a kid into the crib, or a small kid to bed (regular or reading book). very often the interaction just gets cancelled for no reason. There is no obstacle/incorrectly placed object with bb.moveobjects. it just cancels multiple times. I need to pick the option to put them to bed multiple times before it actually happens. effectively spending 1 or 2 sims hours before being successful. similar issues with feeding a baby. either with bottle or in the high chair if small kid. the operation cancels multiple times (before they sit, then after they sit and should be given the mail). Again, instead of casual game play you are forced for 1 or 2 sim hours to stick and repeat the simple activity so that it is successful. overzealous parents - when the infant starts to cry, all of them throw themselves to the child. but the game doesn't recognise that the baby has been taken care of by another parent and the second one still forces their action. Especially annoying if the activity was to put the kid to bed(after 1 hour with the bug mentioned above) and then the other one immediately takes them out of the cradle and is not able to put them back in. and there we go, another hour lost. less often but also happens occasionaly when diaper needs changing just a quick mention about not recognising life steps as there are separate threads about it action to wash kid in the bathub also cancels itself at least two or three times before successful. Basically sims keep cancelling the activity related to basic needs of infant or child care is frustrating and repeating. There is no queued activity by me for the child (and certainly not for the infant :) ) that can block the actions. One simple action like bathing or feeding cannot be queued so yo can play as another sim. You have 99% that is not going to happen if you do this. You need to focus on this particular action and play sometimes several sims hours just repeating same steps till they are finally successful. I like playing as a family but this successfuly discourages me from having more than one baby and any legacy challenge.
Chickens never show up inside the coop
I found from other gameplay reviews that when it's 5 AM, Rooster will show up for a wake-up call. But in my game, it never appears. Only has a sound. Moreover, hens never come to sit and lay eggs in the place I drew red circles. They still show up walking outside the coop. My problem is that they don't show up relaxing in the coop. I don't know if it's only in the game or it's a current visual glitch. If there is a way to fix it, please let me know how to do it. Thank you so much!Werewolves visual glitch
I recently purchased the werewolves game pack on my ps4, and came across this visual glitch when i entered CAS to edit my sim's occult form. I don't know what's causing it, but it is also visible during live mode. The other werewolve townies of Moonwood mill don't present this glitch as of yet.

It isn't luck (she had ordinary), and luck/bad luck is usually a green or grey/purple clover. Unless it is the ordinary luck aura? If it is balance (or balance increased) she was Very Imbalanced -> Imbalanced using the "Consult the Cosmos" interaction. I keep thinking their hygiene is low/bad. They couldn't come up with a different distinctive aura X /
One of my Sims lost his job for no reason
I'm a rotational player and have this one Sim who's in the criminal career, Boss branch. Last time I played him, he was totally fine, had just added a cellar/dungeon to his house, was enjoying himself with his Misfits club, was doing great in his career. Yesterday, I checked back in with him again and noticed he no longer had a job. I have no idea how that might have happened. I know he didn't quit, and I stick with every household for a whole Sim week. Even if I have to switch mid-week, the Sims concerned never lost their jobs. He also didn't get a notice from his employer, so I'm pretty sure he wasn't fired, either. He was able to choose the criminal career again and entered it at the Boss branch, too, so he doesn't have to start from scratch and lost maybe one tier. No idea why the game allowed that because he never went to college and doesn't have a degree that enables him to enter at a higher career level. Any ideas what could have caused this or has this happened to anybody else? My best guess is that it's a bug courtesy of one of the latest updates, like the bug that prevents promotion when a Sim has the entrepreneurial trait.[LD] Traveling while receiving a tarot card aborts receiving card
If you travel in the midst of receiving a tarot card, it never enters your inventory, and you can't get it again, at least the ones from Using Intuition. If you try to Use Intuition on the same object (e.g. Well) you can get the animation of it completing, but you don't get the card.REALM OF MAGIC GAME PACK
First I want to say I have been super excited getting back into Sims!!! I have been hooked non-stop!!! Though I am having a blast, I will say I am encountering a minor issue. In the Realm of Magic game pack when I am called to duel in the duel grounds, when I click to go there, the camera does go to that part of the game pack. It will show different sims that interact with my character but it will it not do anything once I click duel grounds. Also when I click on garden it takes me there, however it does not take me back to HQ. I hope that this can be solved!!Sims Stuck
This has happened a couple of times where my sim or other sims that I don't even play will get stuck in one spot and can't get out, kind of like they are trapped and the only way of getting them out is moving furniture around. This has also happened at work when I needed to talk to a sim in order to complete a task but couldn't because the sim was stuck in one of those rooms without doors.Cow and Llamas not working
I have been able to use all the interactions with the cows and llamas until last update. Now, I can only socialize with them, but not clean or take care of them. This is very frustrating and impacting my game play. I have done everything the forums have told me to do with no avail.The Game isn't letting me page down into my own house
I just moved my sims into a new home and the game is stuck on the outside view. It isn't letting me page down into my house and my vampire sim is going to burn because I can't get them inside. It is as if i need to knock on the door even though it's my lot. I have tried reloading the lot from manage worlds as well as reloading the save all together. I have basically no mods or custom content downloaded (only MCCC). I am on the Glimmerbrook Watch lot in the realm of magic world if that's relevant. How do i fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
