Scenario Parenting Predicaments
I recently started the scenario along with High School years. When Leonardo and Sofia aged up to teen, she was able to graduate early but Leonardo who studied everyday, got all A with the notification of valedictorian, hasn't been able to graduate early or even got the notification of the graduation ceremony like I have attended in the past. I don't use CC, mods or cheats.
Player Trait Overruled by New Game Mechanics
Multiple messages like the one below are popping up: "Sim X saw Sim Y break her romantic boundaries and is thinking of breaking up." The problem is, Sim Y has the 'Player' attribute from completing the serial romantic aspiration: Players will never cause other Sims to get jealous, no matter what they do. On February 25th, 2026 the player attribute was working fine. But when I started the game today, March, 11th, 2026. The issue started. It is probably related to the "Caught in a Scandal!", unfair affair event. Since it happened right before the messages I mentioned started popping up. Apparently "Caught in a Scandal!" event is not fine tuned to deal with the "Player" trait.
Black widow challenge achievement reset
I started the Black Widow Challenge not too long ago. I figured I could do the challenge and complete the achievement but for some reason the game keeps resetting my count on the achievement. I have 5 dead spouses. All have died by "natural" means (2 to a meteor, 2 to cowplants and one to overexertion). At the last log in prior to tonight's, my achievement progress was at 4/5. But when I logged in tonight to play, husband number 6 died and I didn't get the achievement, so I checked and it says 0/5. Anyone else ever experience this issue? [CM edit - descriptive title]
Secret Lover issue-Bug or intended?
My sim is getting around town to stir the pot, and im unsure if its intended but when he has a secret lover, over time [or in my latest case almost immediately after] ill get the notification that my sim and secret lover sim are official partners...without the 'go steady' or 'go official' from the secret lover stage, which i think is why the secret children never seem to be secret since by that point the game reads them as being in a relationship, regardless if the secret lover is married or not. Just a bit confused if that is intended or possibly a bug, or if the secret child thing is different from the dads perspective since I'm playing him atm. If it is intended; 1. Does the perspective effect the mechanic? 2. Is there a cap to Secret Lover sims? 3. is there anyway to 'back track' the 'exclusivity' and back to secret lover stage? Some info; the first 3? ish sims that were secret lovers, all became 'official partners' from the notification [similar to the first kiss notification] that 'X sim and X sim are now partners' at the exact same time when loading into my save without those sims being on lot So i dont think it was autonomously chosen to become official especially with 2 'secret' lovers at the exact same time. I did notice that the 'memory' or connection thing on their profiles [where it could say things like 'deeply connected' etc] still had the 'Secret Lover' memory/relationship thing on the sims profile. I've been having this problem for a while where I go to play the sims, and I load into the gallery and it freezes. I stopped playing after this happened last year, and just recently I wanted to check back in on it. Tried to play it again and it crashed like usual. I used mods and updated them. I've done a bunch of checks this past few days on fixes, like 50/50, removing all my mods and running it vanilla, repairing my files, creating a new file, checking any antivirus software, updating drivers, I even went as far as to delete my save and start a brand new one. However none of it has really worked. Eventually I got it working last night, playing with mods that I checked every few downloads. I created my sims and then got off for the day. Today when I got home from work, I checked back in and the gallery froze again. No warning, no "the game has crashed unexpectedly", just a endless white screen and a frozen sims game.Marina corsair
hi y’all! My sim somehow became friends with marina corsair from the legacy royalty pack and I completed the quest and also disabled the curse but for some reason there’s an eye patch that has stayed and there’s no way to take it off. 2. My sim just started bathing with her clothes on and I have tried different ways, cheat code reset all bathing outfit and mcc clean out fit it doesn’t seem to work. PLEASE HELP!lots never loading in Raven Wood during the festival…
So my game has been loading a lot in Raven wood so I could go to the frog festive for over 6:29 minutes (and counting.) I had this same issue early today and had to force close my game (I only gave it 2 minutes.) now I wanted to see how long it would take… Up to 8 minutes now… the plumbob is still spinning i don’t have mods or cc. Yesterday I got Snowy escape but why would that crash the game with a never ending load screen? I’m up to 9:18 minutes trying to load in…I had to force quit the game again! I haven’t tried to travel to any other lots so I’m going to do that once my game reloads… Will post reply..with an updateCopperdale vacation rental lot crashes in every savefile!
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing their vacation rental lot in copperdale crashes and won't load in? I have tried in several new savefiles and the issue still happens. I wanted to build on that lot specifically because it has the best view to the fair ground and overall I just really like that lot. For the past year I haven't been able to load into that lot without experiencing a infinite loading screen and a pop-up asking to close the game or wait it out. As much as these expansion packs are we sould be able to access everything without getting kicked out. Im on pc and yes I've removed my mods folder to the desk top and tried. Its the only lot I find to have this issue. With all the minor bugs I deal with on a daily basis and now this , im just tired. I know im one person and and basically a nobody but nobody's do get to a breaking point to where they feel its not worth wasting their money anymore. There's something with that lot in the game coding or whatever is causing this. Not mods not cc the game it self. Im just really tired. Also google said to bulldoze the lot, but the lot wont even load so that isnt an option to try. If ANYONE has a solution to my issue please please share cause as much as I do enjoy building and creating in this game, im at my breaking point to retire it and uninstall it completely. Thank you. In addition to the lagging that everyone else shared, I'm having a hard time building anything since the Royalty Expansion Pack update. The flooring only goes diagonally, Paint keeps disappearing from walls, and the regular roofs are coming out diagonal. Is there a way that we don't have to update unless we purchase the new DLC?
[LS] Why does my Non-Romance Consultant have this?
This Sim, and every variation I have had of him has never been a Romance Consultant, but this newest save/game he has had this option. and I do not know how or why. edit: Cloned the Sim (as a twin so fresh) and started fresh gave/save, and he got it again! WHY?!The pirate princess
I'm having trouble completing the pirate princess quest. It doesn't seem to recognize that I've travelled to magnolia blossom park. I've tried walking around at the park, interacting with people and things, and using different households to go the park and it still says "travel to magnolia blossom park". Am I doing something wrong?This there a list of child sims only actives, craftable items....etc?
Hey yall. I'm sure there must a thread or post that already lists out all the kid sim only: activities, buffs, traits, accomplishments, aspirations, skills & craft-able items you can only do as a kid but I just can't seem to find it. Like I know all the kid only aspirations from the base game, growing together, & adventure awaits. It's more like: Making season & holiday decoration at the kid's crafting table (spring, summer, winter, fall - Seasons pack) Getting the inspired moodlet from playing with the doll house - so they can write a "doll house" book on the computer (must also have creativity level 7 or above) Getting the problem child save accomplishment if they max out mischief skill before becoming a teen (i think you also get it as a teen too.) Playing with void critters cards & getting them to level 10 (Parenthood pack) All the puppet shows they can do (Parenthood pack) etc. Thanks a bunch.Build mode not working in apartment building
Hi! I've recently been encountering this massive bug/ glitch that seems to happen in the ''122 Hakim House" in San Myshuno. I have built this apartment myself (no cc) and then moved a part of my household there with the split from household and move function. Next time I loaded the game, upon entering build mode, it functions normally for a minute, before it just stops. All buttons appear properly but they don't work: deleting walls (the ones inside the build, either with ctrl+b or with k will say ''Nothing to delete" ), adding walls, placing objects (upon placement the object disappears), changing the color of an object (it visually changes before reverting to the original color when i move to the select tool or any other tools) , placing objects out of the household inventory (clicking on my mouse just doesn't place it down), selling objects ( the object disappears, no money is being given to the household, when i move to another tool it appears again), undo or redo don't work either. When I try to exit the lot (to manage worlds, to main menu or to exit the game) it just freezes on the loading screen. The lot dimension appears as 0 tiles. I tried troubleshooting and testing it in several ways. When I took out my mods (I only use MC, Ui Cheats which are both up to date and around 50 clutter cc build mode items not present in this save), deleted localthumbchace, repaired the game, took out my tray files and took out my save files the glitch did not occur. When I put only the save files back, it happened exactly the same. This could be save file corruption but it makes no sense to me because it is a new save (started at the beginning of February, with only two generations played), my sims cap is on 80, i haven't used any rental proprieties and this glitch doesn't happen in other non-apartment lots. Could it be that the lot itself is the problem? I also tried evicting my household and loading it in build mode from manage worlds: the glitch didn't occur but when I exited the lot it was stuck on loading screen. Does anybody have any idea if this can be fixed or can help me with an explanation?Spandrel in rounded room area placing incorrectly
I'm trying to add a spandrel to the rounded room area and it keeps going into places I don't want it to. I am unsure why the options outside the wall itself are even available as I have not built anything that shape in that area. I know it has to be something I've done wrong but I just don't know what. My family tree says that my sim is in a relationship with another sim. The sim is not. I even deleted the memory of the sim as a test. So any time my sim is in relations with another, a scandal pops up. I’ve tried everything I can think of to delete this relationship.
Why is my sim attracted to everyone?
I tried this out in different save files, made new sims, and every time they meet someone, it's instant attraction. Right now, I'm playing with a male sim who's attracted to every single girl he talks to. I even edited his turn-ons to only black hair & brown eyes. And yet he's still crushing over every girl..... And before I played with a female sim, and I had her start a yard sale, every male sim that popped up, she was attracted to.. even the random townies..
Problem with radios & lights
This is my house. Upper circle: Radio A Center circle: two lights/candles Lower circle: Radio B One problem is when the sims sit at the dining table next to radio B they mostly use Radio A. Also the highlighted lights are on depending on where the sims are sitting. When they are at the dining table, the right light of the two is on. When they sit on the couch next to radio A, the left light of the two is on. The other lights on the walls are on properly when sims are only in that room. Yes, despite the grey lines not being connected properly, those are all seperate rooms. Not one wall piece missing. There are half walls, columns and doors. Totally normal. I cant make sense of it. This is pretty unique in my game. Im currently considering removing radio A because it looks buggy for sims to use a radio thats technically in the next room.Front door error - Torees Amanecer
Hello, I am a Korean speaker. Please understand that some expressions may have originally sounded unnatural because I used a translation tool. I am currently living on the Torees Amanecer lot in Ciudad Enamorada, which was added with the Lovestruck Expansion Pack. Even after testing the lot without any CC or mods installed, I discovered that I am unable to set a front door. Because of this, when friends or neighbors come to visit, they enter my house and wait inside until I invite them in. There is no option available to designate any door as the front door. Sims behave as if my lot does not have a front door at all. However, the mail carrier delivers the mail and does not enter the building afterward. I would like other Sims not to freely enter my house, and I want only one specific door to be recognized as the front door. I have saved and uploaded the tested lot to the Gallery. ID: 000yul000 All shared lots are Torees Amanecer, and the most recently uploaded lot is the one shown in the attached screenshots. For testing, I deleted the The Sims 4 folder from the EA directory and started a completely new game. Due to insufficient simoleons, I moved in without furniture. Afterward, I purchased and placed only a few essential items (toilet, shower, bed, refrigerator, and easel) and then attempted gameplay. I did not modify any other furniture, walls, elevators, or structural elements. I would like to emphasize again that this test was conducted without any CC or mods. Photo Description: Situation: After moving in, neighbors came to visit my home. A neighbor entered my house and is waiting inside for my invitation. When clicking all three exterior doors, no option appears to set a front door. If the front door setting were available, there should be options to control visitor permissions for friends and neighbors, but these options do not appear. During testing, I confirmed that in other houses in San Myshuno, the front door settings menu properly allows control over visitor access for friends and neighbors. When searching for similar issues, I found that this error frequently occurs in penthouses. Please fix this issue.
Can't add sim to custom venue role
hi! I'm having an issue with custom venues where it won't let me add one particular sim. I'm trying to get this one sim to be considered a "student" role for a boarding school type of lot and it will let me add all the other sims I want except for him. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here's what I've tried: Trying to add a completely different sim to the custom role Using a different sim in other household to add said sim Removed my mods and started in a new save Kept my mods and did a completely different world The sim I'm trying to add does meet all the requirements and I've checked the schedule itself. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated! At this point, I'm assuming it's a game bug. Thanks!
