Certain photos turn black.. graphics bad
The only photos I've notice turn black are photos taken with anything OTHER than the cellphone camera. And they turn black every time I load back into game. They haven't reverted back yet. And I've just been deleting them all together. Also everytime game does a graphics update for gameplay they get so bad things are fuzzy looking and blockish..
Textures Missing? Adventure Awaits
I noticed some of my cas items from adventure awaits and even a couple of the buy mode textures (?) were missing? for example when I click the camp shirt for any lifestage it has the infamous white and red squared pattern on the sims. There is a new large desk that just doesn’t show up when I place it. I was GIFTED the pack if that contributes to my issues? It seems others can play just fine, didn’t see any of these on the bug reports, maybe it’s considered technical but either way help lol
Unplayed households disappear from the world / lots become empty
Hi, I am experiencing a recurring bug in The Sims 4. Some of my unplayed households disappear from the world completely. Sims living in apartments or houses just vanish. Their lots become empty even though they were furnished before. This happens whenever I play with other households. I do not delete them myself. The issue occurs even with Mods or custom content removed. I have tried clearing the cache and repairing the game, but the problem keeps coming back. I have backups, but constantly restoring them is very frustrating. Please investigate this issue. It affects other players and makes managing households very tedious.Events breaks my game
Hello ! I have issues with my events : For starter the event doesn't show the steps when I create one, and I can't end an event before, it goes on until midnight sims time Second I have always a weird look even if im not playing an event. (see capture) Third, if I enter the CUS or construction mode while being on an event the game breaks. I can't see my sims needs, moodlet, change sims or make them do anything. It'slike if I was in camera view. My sims can move but because of their one desire. When it happens I always have to resort the game completely. This has been going for a while (3 months or more maybe). I tried in the French forum to get help but no one could give me advices. Thank you for the help !My sims keep turning nude
One Sim in the household is completely unselectable/unplayable. Multiple Sims default to nude outfits no matter how many times they’re redressed. Relationships between Sims act corrupted or lost (especially after family edits). The household and world are important — I don’t want to lose them. What I’ve Already Tried In-Game Fixes Used testingcheats on and cas.fulleditmode to edit Sims in CAS. Rebuilt and changed every outfit category (Everyday, Formal, etc.) multiple times. Deleted all blank/nude outfits and re-saved Sims. Used Reset Object (Debug) on the affected Sim. Used Add to Family / Remove from Family to re-link control. Tried relationship cheats (family_parent, family_son_daughter) to fix relationships. Tried reversing those same relationship cheats to remove them. Shift-clicked → Modify in CAS several times to reset family and clothing. Game / File Maintenance Deleted cache files: localthumbcache.package cache folder cachestr folder onlinethumbnailcache folder Ran “Repair Game” from the EA App. Confirmed The Sims 4 and EA App are up to date. Cleared EA App cache. Restarted computer several times after each repair. Save Management Saved household to Library, started new save, re-placed them — issue persisted. Saved lot to Library as backup. Still can’t select or control one Sim (unplayable), and multiple Sims revert to nude automatically.
Elimination help
Hello! Loving the new pack, although it definitely has a lot of moving parts to it...😅. I'm trying to have a romantic getaway contest where its less like the bachelor and more like survivor//love island where instead of the one bachelor/host is the the one to decide who gets eliminated its more like a group vote. Is it possible to have a group vote for eliminations? I've tried to make the "singles"s and hosts the same roles but then there were conflicts in the activities. And at first I didnt know the role of the Host. like i didnt know they would be the love interest... i thought theyd just be the host of the contest LOL. Anywho I'm rambling long story short is there a way to do group votes for eliminations instead of there being one sole sim who gets to decide who gets eliminated? Because I was also wondering how would that work for like survior type getaway? cause i think in the actual show i think its the group who decides who leaves.Sims keep reacting poorly to every reaction
So i've been setting up for a new gameplay thing all day, and I finally finshed my sim's and the houses, but now when i'm trying to get them to interact, they keep being mean. It's not like they are doing mean interactions, I am literally doing "ask about day" or "brighten day", small friendly interactions. Everytime I did this the sim's would react bad and loose friendship. I thought maybe it was my mods or cc so first I did the half and half method of removing my mods, didn't find anything, I even removed all of my mods folder and it still didn't help. If anyone knows what's going on please help. (Also it was a new save, all roomates if that matters, and I tried on two different save files)
Crashing entering a certain save.
I've been playing with the new update, with mods no problem when all of a sudden today I couldn't access my legacy save after playing all day. I tried making a new Sims 4 folder and running it fine before bringing over my saves and it crashes before loading. I was using a custom venue before that, maybe that has something to do with it.Updates continuing to worsen problems from previous updates
Since the update before the 10/2 update the inventory and fridge goes blank everytime you leave the lot, go to manage worlds and go into CAS. It’s incredibly frustrating these issues were not looked into for the last two weeks when it takes away from playing the game especially with this quest going on where I need to place things in my inventory and go to another lot just for them to disappear and not be able to use the items when I try placing them from build mode onto the lot because the sims can’t put them in their inventory. Also since the last update the plants are still unable to bloom and cheats don’t make them bloom and the phone keeps glitching to where the only feature is to call the police. Would’ve been appreciated if these were the issues that got looked into for the patch which only broke the game even more and was pointless as there was nothing they said was fixed so it was pointless to update the gameFairy parents unable to interact with babies
Since the last update my fairy parent has not been able to interact with her baby. Every time I try to have her do things from feeding to bathing to changing diapers it will either say she can’t access him (there is nothing in her way and at times she’s in a wide open space and standing next to him), or she will start the interaction and he will glitch (move/sit up then lay down) and the action cancels itself. Today I tried to have her give the baby a bath and she just started inching her way across the yard, into the pond, and then just kept going down the street. The action for him was crossed out but then random ones started going straight up the screen. Most of them were for her says stretch, do pushups, etc. I play console so mods are not an issue. Has anyone else encountered this?
Cannot load any households
Platform: PC Mods: Yes Game Version: 1.118.242.1030 Since the august update I haven't been able to load any households. I get to the main menu and then try to load a household and it just gets stuck on the world map after loading. I have tried without any mods and the problem persists. I have also tried making new sims to see if that changed anything and the problem continued.
