Can’t play apex due to corrupt files. Also can’t repair it
I got the corrupt game files pop up. Click okay. Try to repair. The repair doesn’t work. I’ve restarted my pc. uninstalled and reinstalled apex twice. I exchanged materials for the newest mythic watson skin event pack, got the mythic skin with a single roll. Then, my connection to the server became unstable. It sometimes kick me out to the main menu and fails to log in. Servers which originally has only 50-70 ping for me now has over 200 ping. Whenever i join a friend lobby the game keeps glitching, sometimes crashing sometimes one of us enters the game without the rest of the squad with randoms. Crashing To Black Screen, PC Locked Up
Midgame to late game, the game is crashing to black screen and PC is totally locked. Control alt delete, etc. does nothing. Sound is stuck, etc. Rebooting PC and re-entering game quickly often will place me back in the spot, but it immediately crashes to black screen and locks PC again. This has been happening approximately since last update. I've repaired game files multiple times and even did a complete delete and reinstall, updated NVidia drivers, etc. I'm runnning Intel 12900 CPU, RTX 3800ti, 64 gig DR4, Win 11. One note that may be telling: Before the crash, the game is running 144 FPS, after the crash, always 22 - 60 FPS. Only reloading the NVidia drivers returns normal FPS. (I have done a clean reinstall of video files/drivers). Running temps are mild: CPU max - 150F, GPU - 155F. I am so frustrated, I'm ready to uninstall this game I've invested nearly 3K hours playing : ( Any suggestions are most appreciated. For a few moths i have this error on starting game. Can someone from support answer what it can be. I tried repair game (5 times) i reinstalled game (3 times) i reinstalled windows with formating disks. I tried different gpu drivers, i disabled AV and firewall. No issues at that time. After several months, I tried launching it again in July 2025 and encountered the error. EA App is installed (I no longer use Origin). Initially installed on an external SSD, then moved to D: and finally to C: drive (current location). Using Steam to launch currently. 【Current Behavior and Troubleshooting Done So Far】 The game launches, shows the title screen, and crashes within 2 seconds with “Apex Badware Detected”. Tried launching via start_protected_game.exe and with administrator privileges → still crashes. Verified game files via Steam → no effect. EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe exists and runs → no effect. Hello, I’ve been experiencing constant and severe packet loss when playing Apex Legends on the Japan server (Tokyo - GCE 1 and GCE 2). The ping is low (10–20ms) but packets are being dropped every few seconds, making the game unplayable. I’ve tested multiple things on my side: - Wired connection via LAN cable - Restarted router and ONU - Tried different DNS settings (Google, Cloudflare) - Ran WinMTR, shows packet loss outside local network - No VPN used My ISP (BIGLOBE, Japan) instructed me to contact EA Support, but I couldn’t reach a proper support channel.
